Write down if you are male or female and tell me how you view Charmed.
Do you watch it for fun (entertainment)? Do you try to draw some sort of lessons or morals from it?...etc.
How do you see the show...?

I watch it for both the entertainment value and for the mythos inherent in it. As I am presently working on a book analyzing Charmedverse, I have no qualms at watching any episode again and again in order to glean an even greater understanding. At the same time, of course, I am immensely entertained.
P.S. Let me add something that will probably sound rather corny. My entire family resides pretty much back East. As the only extended family member residing west of the Mississippi, the Halliwells have become my adopted family of sorts. (I told you it was going to sound corny!)
Actually, it may not be so corny, if I argued that it is a rather effective literary technique. An author who can achieve the "willing suspension of disbelief" and create a situation whereby the readers or viewers identify with the characters to such an extent that they seem to come to life has scored a tremendous accomplishment! Touche Charmed!

I've watched Charmed for several reasons. I love SciFi and Supernatural shows, so I think that is what first drew me in. I got hooked watching HMC as I thought she was the cutest and sexiest of the cast. I think I saw the lessons they taught about family, loyalty, protecting those who can't protect themselves, etc. as what kept me watching. That and the interaction of the characters, especially the sisters, was very interesting. When a cast really melds and works well together, you can see the chemistry on the screen.

I watch it because I get caught up in the show and feel like I'm Patty watching over them. Especially S1-3. After that, I wouldn't want to; they'd disgust me too much and I'd want to show up and knock them back on track (yes, during those seasons, I feel like I'm Prue.). Which is why I don't watch the latter seasons anymore.

I watch it because I love the supernatural, and Charmed blends comedy, drama, and sci-fi/fantasy so well together.
I am also personally a Pagan/polytheist, so Charmed abstractly reflects my own religious beliefs.

I do find it interesting and very entertaining at the same time. There always has been something about the supernatural world that has interested me in general. And to watch 3 beautiful women act very well...is amazing.

I watch the show because for aslong as i can remember i have loved magic. Charmed just seemed to be the bes show about magic around (better than buffy). As time goes bye i do start to use it in day to day life when faced with problems i think 'what would piper do?' Now that i have reached my teen years i must say i think charmed has a lot of sex apeal (not that that's a major thing for me. As for catagories it has evrything as far as i concerned i like the sarcastic wit that piper has. The love story between piper and leo i think is pherhaps one of the best love stories ever.

I watch Charmed partly because it is very entertaining, and it makes for good tv drama. But mainly i love the characters and the relationships they have with each other, and how they work together to do great stuff. I have sisters myself, so Piper, Phoebe, and Paige remind me a little bit of my sisters and I. I hope that some day my sisters and i will be as close as they are.

I must say that I watch it because my mom has watched it so much that, after seeing every episode, I got into it and watched them all over. Now my WHOLE family watches it, and I feel sort of a connection to the characters, almost as if they are family. Also I love magic, I don't use it or try to learn it, but I would really like to get into that type of stuff...that may sounds corny...but I do.

At the beginning, I saw Charmed for fun but now it's like a "drug" ...
Actually, I really don't know the real reason; probably to copy the sister's clothes, the sister's thought, the sister's life ... or only to spend a little time in a magical world ...
I imagined a lot of time to be one of them ... how a strange but exciting life !!!

I'd just like to add to my original post that I think the show provided/still provides good role models for young women. The characters have strong personalities (no wall flowers in the group), do good things with not only their powers, but in general, and they honestly care a great deal about each other and those around them. Putting aside one's personal moral judgements about their sexual activities (everyone is entitled to their own opinions there), they were simply representative of the new breed of women today. They took on problems head on, helped their friends, and never gave up.
Even though a lot of people didn't like the last season, mostly because of the Billie character, there were still some good stories in there. For example, confronting whether (in some ways) they were being selfish and had lost their way. They didn't exactly save a lot of innocents in S8. Questioning ones own motives and activities shows a real ability for introspection.

I am Female.
I just view the show as a load of fun and drama. Every episode is like an adventure for me. And the idea of magical powers being real is just so cool. I would love to have magical powers and spells. Especially one that can clean my room hehe.
