The "pink slip" was just a formality after WB gave her time, tried to sue her to sign, then just gave up.
Aron,Brad Kern, Holly, and Alyssa were upset that Shannen wanted to leave, and Shannen did eventually manage to make up with Alyssa, Holly, And Aron so don't believe Hollywood gossip as Shannen and Alyssa are actually still friends and have reached an understanding about their little "personal matter".
Alyssa might have thought that is was "her fault" that Shannen was abondoning the show, and she was also upset she couldn't convince Shannen to stay thinking it was of "what happened" but, no, Shannen was just wanted to move on and figured 3 Seasons was enough.
Brad Kern had no qualms about still being upset with Shannen which is why she was never asked to guest star as Prue in the later episodes....to Bad cause it would have been so cool if "Death Becomes them" had included the Necromancer resurecting Prue and Piper having to blow her up
Wow, honestly no offense intended, but whitelightertony makes a point. It sounds like you are a personal friend of Kern's and got this straight from his mouth. I am totally not calling you a liar, frankly I have heard so many stories I am not sure what to believe at this time. So there is a possibility that what you are saying is indeed true. But the way you began this post "bottom line..." kind of sounds like you are sure of yourself. Where did you get your information and how do you know its not just as reliable as IMDB or even worse Wikipedia?
Again no attacking intended just trying to figure out what sources of Shannon information are more accurate than others. So that I can decide what information to believe about her departure.
