Just how can the nexus be neutral anyway? The only way it can be neutral is if it was its own entity and according to Zankou in Scry Hard the nexus is controled by whoever controls the home. Therefore, the Nexus was "good" wasn't it? If that's the case, it was not neutral.

Well actually he would have been correct. Since he took over the home and stuff and got the Charmed Ones out he was able to control it. Also, it was neutral in the way that it could sway both good or evil depending on who lives in the home and who controls it and Zankou temporarily took it over.

But just the fact that it takes sides based on who controls the home makes it not neutral. It can't be neutral if it sides with the controlers of the home.

Unless the Nexus is comprised of two halves at constant "war" with each other. Whoever controls the house temporarily tilts the "war" in favor of that side. The Nexus has exhaustingly been debated both here (whichever thread, I think, the Season 7 thread) and summarized and debated in my own forum site charmedverse.proboards74.com in the thread: Shadowboxing with the Nexus.

How about this?
Since all beings are comprised of both good and evil, the Nexus is simply a reflection of that.

Therefore, the Nexus was "good" wasn't it? If that's the case, it was not neutral. That's why the Manor was built there. So it would be on the Nexus and have it "good", or at least not let evil get it. But, the problem is, looking at S1 and then later on. The woogy and Nexus are the same, but they're different. *sighs*

The woogy, if you will, was a manifestation of the dark force inside the nexus. It sought an outlet in Phoebe in order to overturn good's domination of the manor and the nexus. Had Cole or Zankou gotten control of the Nexus, then its opposite counterpart - a snoogy - would have appeared as the manifestation of good within the Nexus.

As VK alludes to, and coupling it with my own theory - - I always assumed the Woogyman contained the essence of some evil force that had been banished far beneath the surface of the Nexus.

Therefore, the Nexus was "good" wasn't it? If that's the case, it was not neutral. The "Woogyman" was an entity that resides in the "dark Nexus" that is buried in the Basement, while the "White Nexus" use to reside in the Chandelier and provided the "Charmed" power boost as well as Wyatt's "twice Blessed" power boost. So basically it was "divided" and what ever force was Dominant in the Manor could tap into the Nexus's power either "White" or "Dark". The alternative way to tap into the full power of the Nexus is via the "Woogyman" which actually prefers the "Dark Nexus" as it's source of power to posses, manipulate, and dominate and it is actually a "demon" that is banished into the Nexus for "safe keeping"...not the Nexus itself (only the Nexus as a "cage" can hold a power leeching "demon" like the Woogyman) Leo didn't have the Woogyman in him long enough to loose his senses, but eventually he would have and even if Zanku or Cole had the "Woogyman" in them long enough they would have been eventually "taken over" as there thoughts and desire became less and less their own and more and more the "Woogyman's" to create discord and hate, and anger, which would make it bigger and bigger and able to possess more and more people in it's "wake of Discord" (Such as the random violence around the Manor as Phoebe was possessed for a long time)

Inside of the nexus was the light and the shadow. The woogy was the shadow. They only called it the woogy because Phoebe saw it as a young girl and thought it was the woogeyman.
My theory is that there is an equal force of good and evile in the nexus. Cancling eachother out making it 'neutral.' It's just when there is good or evile surrounding it then it will activate an impiticular force.
This is just my understanding it may (and probably is) wrong! lol
