Who think the series would have been better if it were in time order as opposed to the way it was broadcasted? We see the evil enchantress first. Followed by "All Halliwell's Eve" then a blurp about Brianna and the Lord of War. We then see the San Francisco earthquake and the cousins of the 1920s. Follow that with 1960s hippy Grams and the start of the real stuff with with the Patty/Sam/Victor threesome (not THAT way, sickos) Patty has her kids then dies. Grams takes over and we see the events of that 70s episode. And finally the past events for Paige and the death of Grams. At some point late in the series, we finally see "Something Wicca this way comes" and we go from there...

LMAO, nice thought, Elder.
If the show started that way, I don't know if it would have been popular enough to work. BUT! If TNT did a marathon, man, I'd love for them to do it this way. That would be so awesome to see.

Far into the future, the offspring of The Charmed Ones come across an entity worse than any demon ever! The dreaded sect of "Squirrels with light sabers"

Oh, those squirrels are nutters all right! Let me say I agree with Assassin Witch on scheduling Charmed blocks. In my own forum, reality bites has put together a Gramathon: all of the episodes with Grams. This could be arranged in their proper time sequential order.
Keep the daily shows in order to lure in new viewers. Tempt the "veteran" viewer with novel ways to present the show. Even better - and something that would never ever happen - create a series of Charmed mash-ups. Pull clips from various episodes together and weave a sort of continuity.
For an old Beatles freak, the Love mash up lp/cd is an interesting concept and works - to a certain extent - for me.
