CHRIS WALKED DOWN THE STREET AS PROBES WIZZED THROUGH THE AIR.HE REACHED THE TINY STORE ON THE CORNER OF COBBLE'S CORNER AND STUCK HIS FACE AGAINST THE WINDOW.INSIDE THIS SMALL SHOP WERE THOUSANDS OF DIMOND RINGS.HE STAIRED AT ONE IN PETICULAR,A RED DIAMOND WITH RUBYS ARIUND IT.IT WAS THE PERFECT ENGAGEMENT RING.HE CHECKED HIS WATCH.10 AFTER 6.THE STORE SHOULD OPEN ANY MINUTE NOW.HE TAPPED HIS FOOT AS HE REMEMBERED THE FIRST TIME HE HAD MET "HER".

CHRIS WAS DROWNING HIS SORROWS IN A DRINK DOWN AT P3.NOBODY SEEMED TO CARE.TO THEM IT WAS JUST ANOTHER LOSER WHO HAD A BAD DAY.HE GURGLED AS HE SLUMPED OFF THE CHAIR A BIT.HE KNEW HE WAS DRUNK,BUT DIDN'T CARE.HE LOOKED AROUND,THOUGH HIS VISION WAS BLURRED.A GIRL WAVED TWARDS HIM,BUT OF COURSE HE COULDN'T TELL.SERENA POPED INTO THE CHAIR NEXT TO HIM"CHRIS?" SHE ASKED.CHRIS SHOT HIS HANDS OVER HIS EARS."DO YOU HAVE TO SAY IT SO LOUD?" CHRIS SANK LOWER INTO HIS SEAT."SORRY" SHE WISPERD."WOW,YOUR DRUNK" "AM NOT" CHRIS SLURED."I'LL BE RIGHT BACK" SHE SAID AND DISAPEARED INTO THE CROWD.5 MINUETS LATER SHE CAME BACK.CHRIS WAS HALF A SLEEP WHEN SHE FOUND HIM ON THE FLOOR,HE SPILT HIS GLASS."POOR CHRIS"SHE SIGHED AS SHE FROZE THE ROOM.SHE ORBED HIM UP INTO THE SEAT AND THEN UN FROZE THE ROOM."I JUST SPOKE WITH PHOEBE...I'M TAKING YOU HOME." serena shook her head as she bounced down the steps.she joined the sisters in the kitchen.as she apeared in the kitchen door way the sisters bursted out laughing."what's so funny?" serena asked as she sipped her green tea."what are your intentions with my son?" piper suddenly asked.paige turned the other way to stiffle a laugh."ughh...nothing,why?" serena asked as she stired her fingers around the edge of the cup's rim."ahh"phoebe said"so you do like him."serena's cheeks flushed a rosey red.she quickly took another sip of tea to cover it up."why would you say that?" she calmly asked as she staired off towards the wall."oh come on."paige blurted out."you totally love him.."before serena could reply they hurd a thud from up stairs.all of themn took off up the steps,fearing it was a demon attack.suprisingly it didn't come from the attic...it came from the bathroom,"chris?" piper called as she taped on the door"chris honey are you all right?"chris opened the door and stumbled out of the bathroom.he had a huge lump on his head."oww"chris said as he rubed his head"yeah..i'm fine.i just slipped" he looked up in serena's direction."who's she?" he asked as he pointed at serena.her cheeks lit up even redder."she"paige said as she steped in front of serena"will be sharing your room with you.can we trust you to be a good boy?" chris rolled his eyes."i'm 22 not 12" he flung his shirt over his shoulders and walked away.as he was walking away phoebe leaned over to watch.piper slaped her on her arm"that's your nephew you know." phoebe pinched herself"god,i miss jason."then phoebe's empath powers kicked in."ohh,i wasn't the only one checking him out." every body looked at serena as she orbed a pillow in phoebe's direction.chris opened up the door,or what he thought was the door as he pushed it open.he wasn't completely sober so the boxes over head fell on top of him.one hit him square on the head.serena was walking past when this happened so she ran up and freezed the other box before it hit chris also.she extended out her hand."we gotta stop meeting like this".chris took her hand.he was beginning to like her.he lookied away,embarrased that she had to see him in such a pathetic state,but her warm smile re-asured him."so where's our room?" she asked as she grabed chris' hand.chris smiled."that away" chris pointed down the hall.as they began to walk twards his room the hallway looked different,but she dismissed the thought.chris wliped his wrist as the door opened."telekenisis" serena stated as she entered through the door."impressive,i have it too"."cool" chris replyed as they stepped through.it was like a pig sty as serena doged over a pair of dirty underwear.chris murmered something under his breath as the room disapeared in a swirl of color and light.the room became much larger,a big screan tv,and a master bed,and a couch poped out of nowhere.chris poiped in a matrix tape as serena staired doumbfounded."what?" chris asked" your a witch too.it's just a little hidden spell.ahh the future,so a head of your time" she shot him a dirty look."hello mr. anderson" the tv boomed.chris was sittting on the remote."come on" chris said as he tapped on the couch."your gonna miss the best part"

soon serena was around the house more and more.chris wouldn't have it any other way.he still didn't have the nerve to ask her out on a date.he was to afraid she'd say no.mean while serena walked into the kitchen.she had a sad look on her face."what's wrong?" piper asked.again phoebe's empath powers kicked in."she was wondering why chris hasn't asked her on a date yet." phoebe blurted out.all the sisters turned and looked at serena."i knew it" piage said in a sing song voice."it's true" serena admitted as chris walked into the room."what's true?" chris asked as he entered the kitchen.serena spun around so fast that she sliped on the tiles and fell.chris walked over and picked her up.but as he was trying to do so he sliped and fell on top of her.chris finally got off of her and helped her up.he walked over to the refridgerator and began to look through it,repeating his question.paige quickly orbed away the oil that she had put on the floor earlier...just helping serena and chris get to gether faster.piper smacked chris hand away."no food until after dinner! now be a good bay and umm...."piper ran out of things to complian about.luckly paige didn't."go to the orchard and pick a dozen pink gemstone zirconia flowers.take serena too.we need it to vanquish the laxzzeroth demon." chris raised an eyebrow.he knew what they were trying to do."why?" chris asked as he inched himself closer to serena,who turned a bright red again."because i saqid so!!" paige yelled.chris jumped back,afraid of his aunt for a second but then regained his "cool" composure as he clinged to serena and orbed out.phoebe in her best anouncer voice"and the grammy for best actor goes to..." piper did a drum roll on the table."paige mathews!!" paige took a quick bow before bursting out in laughter.chris and serena landed in a patch of lillys."you can let go now" chris said as he looked over her hair,which was wipping perfectly in the breeze."sorry" serena said as the lillys around her turned red.chris looked at the puxxled."did you do that?" "yeah,it's along story" chris needed to think fast."well" he siad while offering his hand"it's a long walk." she took his hand."mr.halliwell? are you asking me out." she asked teasingly as she jumped onto him."i suppose so" chris said as he hoisted her on his back.a piggy back never hurts.they spent the rest of the day admiring wild plants and other things when the sun began to set."do ya wanna come back to my house?" chris asked,getting nervous of what she'd say."well i've been over there every day for the past 4 weeks" she gave him a kiss as they orbed out.when the aperared inside the manor piper and phoebe and paige all stood in their usual spot drinking tea.when chris and serena orbed in they looked shocked."what?" chris asked."can't you see we're on a date" serena rolled her eyes and snuggled closer to chris.

chris and serena were downstairs with the rest of the family when leo orbed in.they had been dating for a month and nothing could tear them apart.the blue swirls disapeared as leo snuck up from behind and gave piper a kiss."good morning stranger" piper said as she turned around.chris stuck out his tounge."blah" he said.piper rolled her eyes."you wouldn't be saying that since that was how you were born" she said patting her tummy.chris walked over to leo."hey dad" chris said.actually that suprised serena since chris suposedly hated him so much.leo took out his wallet and dug into it."what do you want? 50$ 60$?" chris streached out his hand."60$ will do" leo took out a fifty and a ten."you know son,i'm not made of .." chris took the money."money blah blah blah" chris orbed out.chris orbed back in 12 min later.he had a box in his hand.he got down on one knee."serena.." chris began.everybody stoped what they were doing as if the slightest move may alter something."you know how much i love you" chris said as he took out a box.piper fainted.chris opened the box.leo passed out.chris turned towards her and gave her a green and purple half of a dragonfly.there was already the other half dangeling on his neck.serena let out a breath of relief as he put the necklace around her neck.they turned around to show off the necklace but everybody had passed out."what's wrong with them?" chris asked.

chris checked his watch.it was 20 after 6.what was taking so long for the store to open? if he didn't get the ring by 8 he'd have to wait another day to propose and he couldn't do that.he looked down and say a tiny sgin in the window.it said:"not open on sundays".chris stomped his foot into the ground.this was all wyatt's fault.if he hadn't attacked yesterday he could of gotten the ring.and plus it was past 6 so he couldn't cast a spell to go back in time.those spells were only allowed from 4:30 am to 6:30 pm.thanks to wyatt's magic curfew.though that never stopped chris before he didn't feel like getting into an epic battle before he was to propose to his girlfriend.he thought about orbing the ring t him and then putting the money in the same spot but before he made up his mind he saw the fairy mrs.linxiou who owned the shop."mrs.lingxiou!" chris called as she floated over to him."please open the shop " chris begged.she shook her head."sorry chris you know the rules...family friend or not i can't open the shop..it's sunday" chris wiped away a tear."i'm gonna pop the question today to her" mrs.lingxiou rasied an eyebrow as she thought."am i invited?" she asked.chris made a smile."yeah..but there won't be a wedding if i don't prepose to her." she unlocked the shop."why didn't you say so?" she said.chris ran in and got the ring and payed her the money.he thanked her one more time before he orbed home.he only had 50 $ to his name but he felt like the happiest man in the world

chris orbed home and sat on the couch.he could barely stand to wiat any longer but knew he had to.to pass the time he twittled the dragonfly necklace that dangeled from his neck.a few minuets later she swirled in and looked around to see chris."i'm in here!" chris yelles.he couldn't wait aNY LONGER.HE JUMPED OFF THE COUCH AND RAN OVER TO HER.BUT HIS SMILE SOON RECIDED when he saw the look on her face.she was extreamly sad and had gashes on her face.she sat down and crosed her legs.she always did that when she was thinking."who did this to you?" chris asked as he healed her.she looked down on the floor.the answer was obious."wyatt" chris wispered."i was walking home when his demons got me." she said."he binded my powers","come on" he said."were going to settle this once and for all.chris orbed out.he stuck the engagement ring in his pocket..he would prepose on a day that was wyatt free
