Blessed Be
----------------------------------------------------------- The year is 2025. The place is a war-ravaged San Francisco. Buildings lay in ruins. Streets are in shambles. The Golden Gate Bridge has been torn in two.
People are in panic everywhere. Demons have been terrorizing the citizens of San Francisco- killing them, torturing them, hunting them like prey. Magick is practiced everywhere, but only by demons and warlocks. Witches, good witches, are imprisoned, and they are the lucky ones. The less fortunate witches are either killed for their powers or are sold to demonic markets. And for these reasons, the remaining witches have been forced underground, and with them, their Whitelighters.
Amidst all the chaos, two figures are hunched over a tombstone in San Francisco Memorial Cemetery. The sun is hidden behind a clump of dark clouds, blocking the light, cloaking the cemetery in a veil of ominous darkness.
One of the figures kneels down and wipes the dirt off of a tombstone. A tiny ray of light is able to escape its cloudy prison, and as it hits the tombstone, the words Piper Halliwell, Mother, Sister, Charmed One can be vaguely read.
The figure continues cleaning the gravestone while the other remains standing, watching and keeping guard.
“It’s been a while,” the knelt figure begins to speak, his voice sad and husky. “I’m sorry that I haven’t visited these past few days, but security’s become very tight and it’s very hard to dodge demons nowadays. But, I haven’t forgotten about your birthday,” says the figure as he picks up a bouquet of fresh roses and daisies from behind him and places it on the gravestone. The vibrant colors of the flowers give the solemn piece of land some semblance of life. The figure smiles a bit, “They’re your favorites, right? Roses and daisies…” He smoothes his hair with his damp fingers and gingerly stands up.
“I…I miss you,” he mutters sorrowfully. “You’d think that I would have gotten used to the fact that you’re gone, but…but it hurts more and more as each day passes. I can still remember your last words to me, ‘Be strong, my darling, for me, for your wife. I will never leave you.’ Those were the last words you said to me before…before HE threw that energy ball and killed you,” recalls the figure angrily. Maintaining his composure, the figure continues, “But those words give me strength, and I know, deep down I know, that you’re always beside me, watching over me.”

“I know that this isn’t the future you wanted me…us… to grow up in. I’m sorry that I failed, I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to stop him from turning evil…” the figure says, his eyes welling up with tears. He continues, “…but I swear, I will change this. I will do everything in my power to avenge your death and stop him for good. If I can’t turn him back, I swear, I’ll kill him.” The figure finally breaks down, his tears dropping in succession on top of Piper Halliwell’s headstone.
The figure finds the courage to speak again. He begins wiping the tears from his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt, “Guess what? I’ve managed to form a team,” he blinks the remaining tears away. “And, you’re going to love this…are you ready? We call ourselves the ‘Charmed Ones,’ after the three of you! Isn’t it great?” the figure finally grins, “Yeah, I knew you’d like that…We... the three of us…we’ve already saved five innocents this week. Neat, huh?”
“I have another surprise for you,” the male figure is getting very excited, “and I bet this is the biggest one yet. Ready?” the figure waits, and as if hearing an inaudible whisper, the figure continues, “Bianca and I are married!” He points to the figure beside him and pauses again, as if waiting the corpse inside to awaken and acknowledge his joy.
The male figure continues to talk enthusiastically to the lifeless tombstone when, suddenly, the figure that has watched guard, Bianca, tenses up, the fine hairs on her arms and neck standing up and her body going rigid.
“They’re here!” Bianca suddenly cries in alarm. “Chris, I can sense them, we must leave now!” screams Bianca, panic in her eyes. She tugs at Chris’s, the other figure, sleeve. “Please, hurry, they’re going to arrive any minute now,” her eyes now scanning the cemetery for any immediate danger.
Chris nods, “We…we have to go now, mom. But I promise, I will come back. I love you.” With that, he grabs Bianca’s hands and disappears in a flash of blue and white orbs.
The dark clouds momentarily part, permitting a small ray of sunlight to peak through. The light hits a tree, and from behind it, dark orbs materialize and reveal a dangerous looking man. He has shoulder-length hair and an unshaven chin. He looks menacingly at the tombstone that has been, minutes ago, tended by two figures. He whispers, lips contorting into a smirk, “Happy Birthday… mom.”

Chapter 1
Chris Halliwell rubs his sleepy eyes as he walks into the kitchen of Halliwell Manor, or at least what is left of it. The kitchen is now a far cry from the kitchen that he has had grown up in.
“Without mom to clean up the Manor, the house looks like a mess,” thinks Chris, remembering what a neat freak her mom is. He remembers his visit to the cemetery a few weeks ago, and mutters a small prayer to his mother.
The once clean and spotless kitchen is now dilapidated, with appliances broken and missing almost all of their parts. The white walls are now dirtied with ash and dust, showcasing a range of vanquishes that have happened inside. The windows are boarded up by termite-infested wood and the basement door is missing.
It is still, barely, usable and manageable. There are makeshift pantries around, holding different kinds of herbs. The Halliwell Cauldron, although dirty and stained with various potion ingredients, is displayed proudly on one of the rickety tables of the kitchen, reminding the inhabitants of the Manor of the countless potions the famous Charmed Ones have brewed in it.
“Morning, sunshine!” greets Steven, one of the witches that Chris has had saved from evil as he enters the kitchen.
Chris narrows his eyes and jokingly says, “Call me that one more time and I’m sicking a warlock on you.”
Steven puts his hands up and laughs, “Gotcha! Heh!” He hands Chris a mug of steaming hot coffee, black with two sugars.
Chris whispers a “thank you” and takes the mug from him.
Chris takes a sip from the mug and looks at Steven. It has been close to a week since he and Bianca has saved Steven from a coven of warlocks. Chris could still remember the whole situation vividly, like it has just happened yesterday.

He and Bianca have been scrying for random evil in the city when the crystal has dropped on the spot on the map that reads “Golden Gate Bridge.” Holding Bianca’s hands, Chris has hurriedly orbed to the spot the scrying crystal has showed them. In front of them is a group of three warlocks, all of whom are clothed in black robes. In their firm grips are their athames, ceremonial knives that demons and warlocks use to kill witches and steal their powers. And in the center of these three warlocks is a very frightened teenaged boy- cowering and covering his head with his hands, screaming for help.
Chris could still remember the fear and confusion in the teenager’s eyes as he looks up and sees Bianca hurl one energy ball after another and vanquish the warlocks. As he rushes over and approaches the frightened innocent, the teenager suddenly thrusts his hands out at Chris, yelling “don’t come near me!”, causing Chris to orb in a swirl of blue-and-white orbs. When Chris has re-formed, the innocent-slash-witch throws his arms again and again, causing Chris to explode and re-form a dozen times. Bianca wants to help her husband, but she has to stay behind as back-up in case more warlocks show up. Finally, the dazed witch collapses to the ground, his power drained and his energy spent up. Chris scoops the unconscious teenager up and orbs out with his wife.
When they have reached the Manor, he plops the unconscious witch on the living room couch. Bianca goes into the kitchen to get a potion to wake the dazed innocent. The witch soon wakes up, but before he could blow Chris up again, he explains to the frightened teenaged witch who he and Bianca are. The boy is skeptical and untrusting at first, but after a few more introductions and a minor exhibit of Chris and Bianca’s respective powers, he finally warms up to the couple. His defenses go down, and there on the couch, sitting in between Chris and his wife, he begins to cry.
He and Bianca have given the boy time to release his pent-up fear and tension. After the innocent has cried, they have asked him who he is. The boy- Steven- explains who he is and his entire situation.

“It was my sixteenth birthday,” Chris could still recall Steven saying, “when three menacing men appeared out of nowhere inside my house. They stabbed mom and dad, and they threatened to kill me next if I didn’t cooperate. I was so scared, so I threw my hands out as they came nearer. When I thrust my hands in front of me, one of the men exploded!” Steven has trailed off, licking his lips before he continues. “I was surprised at what I just did, but the two men were still intent on getting to me, so I bolted out of the house. I’ve been running away from them for over three days; I had no one else to turn to.”
Chris and Bianca have then taken turns explaining to Steven who he is- that he is a witch.
“Me? I’m a witch?!? How…how could that be? One minute I’m Stevie-the-weenie, and now you’re telling me that I’m a witch? With super-powers?!?” Steven blinks rapidly and says, “Awesome!”
Chris has volunteered to teach him how to control his powers, and seeing that the boy has no family left and a house to go home to, he has told Steven that he can stay in Halliwell Manor for as long as he wants to. Steven has immediately agreed.
“And that was how we gained another ally,” thinks Chris to himself, still looking at Steven. “Goddess, his power reminds me so much of mom,” Chris’ face twists into a half-frown.

Steven finally notices that Chris has been looking at him for the last three minutes and asks, “What? Is something stuck between my teeth?”
Chris blinks, coming out of his stupor, “What? OH! No, nothing, I was just thinking, must’ve spaced out, is all.” Chris quickly turns around, embarrassed.
“You’re acting pretty weird, man,” laughs Steven.
“Must be caffeine-deficiency,” laughs Chris.
Both men burst out laughing. It is Steven who finally speaks up first. “So what do we do now?”
Chris shrugs nonchalantly, “What we do best, vanquish evil!”
Steven and Chris walks into the living room where Bianca has been scrying for at least half an hour.
“Hi, honey!” greets Chris, as he goes over to his wife and gives her a kiss, “How’s the search going? Any demon activity today?”
Bianca looks over at her husband, who is now seated on the couch. “I’ve been scrying for half an hour now and still no demon activity. Let me try one more time.” Bianca closes her eyes, centers herself, and raises the scrying crystal over the map again.
Steven looks at Bianca with interest, “That’s how you guys found me, huh. Cool, I still can’t get over this scr…what do you call it again?”
Chris glances over at Steven for a minute and looks back at Bianca again, “Scrying. Don’t worry; you’ll get the hang of it. I used to have a hard time with it, too. But I learned, and so will you.”
Steven looks at Chris and smiles at his friend’s confidence in him. He is about to ask Chris another question on scrying, when suddenly, the scrying crystal drops on the map.
Bianca looks at her husband, “Here we go!”
Chris grabs Steven’s hand and orbs him out, while Bianca shimmers out; and on the table, the crystal lies on top of the map that reads, “San Francisco National Park.”

Chapter 2
“Huff, huff,” exhales the woman as she runs behind another oak tree. She has been running for the last hour and a half, non-stop, ever since her boyfriend has changed from decent, good-looking hunk, to slimy, scaly demon. “Witch!” he called her.
The woman has been trying to replay the last few events in her mind before her ordeal has begun as she runs. She and her boyfriend have been making out in his car for the last half hour when without warning, her boyfriend has firmly gripped her wrist. She has watched in terror, as her seemingly perfect boyfriend has transformed from Brad Pitt-look-a-like to the shark in Jaws. Not giving in to panic, she has quickly assessed her situation, and before her boyfriend could finish the frightening transformation, she has grabbed hold of her boyfriend’s baseball bat from the back seat. She has gingerly fingered the bat, and without hesitating, she has whacked her demon-boyfriend at the head five times. Distracted, the demon has released her from his grip. The woman has taken this opportunity to unlock the car door and escape.
And now, she has been running and running, adrenaline pumping into her systems.
“Me? A witch? How can I be a witch? Oh god, what’s happening to me?” asks the woman to a Higher Being. She rounds into another corner, when suddenly, the tree next to her erupts in flames.
“Witch! Do you really think that you can escape from me?” shouts the demon, his voice booming over the entire park.
“@#%$!” exclaims the woman, “What do I do now? Someone please help me,” she whispers.
As if some Higher Power has heard her prayers, blue and white orbs materialize in front of her. As the orbs take shape, the woman is caught off-guard and she screams, “Eeeek!”
Moments later, Bianca shimmers from behind her. The woman looks back, and screams again, “Who are you people? What do you wa….” But before she can finish her sentence, she spots her demon-boyfriend approaching them, only ten feet away. The woman flees again, leaving Chris, Steven, and Bianca to measure the situation up.
Chris thinks of a plan. “Okay, here’s the plan. Bianca, you go and tend to the innocent. Protect her, in case there are other demons after her. Steve and I will stay here and vanquish this one.”
Bianca and Steven nod in agreement, “Got it!” With that, Bianca runs off in pursuit of the innocent.

The demon is fast approaching. As he spots Chris and Steven blocking his path, he bellows, “More witches? Aaaarrgghh! No matter, one witch, or one hundred, makes no difference to me. I will kill you all!”
“Okay, not to sound scared and all, but how exactly do we vanquish this demon?” asks Steven, not taking his eyes off of the shrieking demon.
Chris momentarily shifts his gaze from the demon to Steven, “With your power.”
“WHAT?!? How? I don’t exactly know how to fully control my powers yet! I might blow the both of us up by accident!” cries Steven.
“Remember your trai…” but before Chris can finish his answer, the demon runs toward them at supernatural speed, and in a flash, backhands Chris, sending him flying. Chris hits his head on an outstretched branch of a huge maple tree, hard. He slumps down on the ground, the blow from both the demon and the impact rendering him unconscious.
“CHRIS!” yells Steven, as he sees his friend lying lifelessly on the ground. “Okay, Stevie, you can do this,” Steven cajoles himself. “Remember what Chris and Bianca taught you…deep breaths,” Steven tries his best to remember his training, and at the same time maintains his breathing.
Steven takes one deep breath, and closing his eyes, thrusts his arms out at the demon. He can feel energy streaming out his arms like wildfire. He hears a loud *BOOM* and when he opens his eyes, he sees a huge oak tree crashing down, his blast obviously missing its mark. The demon gets momentarily distracted and Steven takes this opportunity to strike again. He breathes in again, and without a moment’s hesitation, flings his hands with all his might, this time, his eyes concentrating on the demon.*BOOM* His blast hits the demon right on, vanquishing him on the spot. The demon howls in pain, and in a second, erupts in bluish-red flames. “Ayyyy!!!” is the last thing Steven hears before the demon vanishes.
Steven leaps into the air, shouting, “Yeah! I did it, I did it! Who’s the man? I’m the man! Did you see that, Chris?” His excitement causes the teenager to momentarily forget that Chris is still unconscious. He quickly remembers and rushes over to his friend’s side, excitement and anxiety flooding his systems.
“Chris, Chris, wake up, man!” he says, as he shakes Chris’s limp body. Steven shakes his companion with all his might, but the unconscious Chris still fails to respond to Steven’s violent wake-up calls. Finally, Steven resorts to slapping his friend who is still down for the count.
“Chris, CHRIS! *phak phak*! WAKE UP! We still have to go after that innocent! Yo, Chris!” Steven continues to slap Chris and tries his best to wake him up. Finally, Chris moans and begins to stir from his spot on the ground.
“Uhhh..oww…” Chris moans, as he rubs his neck with one hand, “that demon sure packs a wallop…” Chris shakes his neck from side to side, checking if anything is broken. “Ugh, I’ll be black and blue for a while.”
Steven helps his friend get to his feet, “Yeah well, too bad you got knocked out. You failed to see my vanquish! Damn! You should’ve seen me kick that demon’s ass!”
Chris cheers up as he hears this, “Congratulations! Hey! It’s your first official vanquish! Training really does pay off, huh!” Chris extends his hand for a ‘high-five’.
“Yeah! Right on, dude!” asks Steven as he returns Chris a ‘high-five’, feeling very happy with himself.
Chris rubs his face as they continue to walk in search of the innocent, “Oww… my face hurts…I don’t remember hitting my face on that tree…” Chris struggles to recall whether he has hit his face on the tree or not.
Steven avoids Chris’ eyes and awkwardly replies, “Uhh..sorry, that was me. I had to slap you like a hundred times to get you to come around.”
Chris looks at Steven with faux anger and playfully hurls a small stone at him telekinetically. “You’re gonna pay for that, you!” Chris says with a laugh.
“Well, if you can get me. After all, I am super-witch. You really should’ve seen that vanquish! C’mon demons, bring ‘em on!” Steven says with a smirk.
“Whoa there, super-witch. Before you start vanquishing demons, let’s go look for our innocent first, shall we?”

Chapter 3
“Now where did that woman run off to?” thinks Bianca as she scans her environment for the innocent. She runs off again, trying her best to detect the woman’s aura. She dashes to the left, and then to right. “Damn, this woman sure knows how to hide,” Bianca mutters impatiently.
After minutes of trivial pursuit, Bianca finally runs out of patience. She decides to use her heightened Phoenix-senses to locate the innocent’s heartbeat. She closes her eyes and listens.
There are many sounds in the park and Bianca is having a hard time distinguishing between them. There are birds chirping, squirrels scuttling along, even the trees are sending off their own vibrations. Bianca still pushes on with her quest, though, and increases her concentration, confident that her skills would lead her to the innocent.
*Chirp chirp* *Tok tok* *Tweet* In the midst of all these sounds, there is one that stands out. It is the rapid beating of an excited human heart. Bianca beams and, with precise concentration, determines where the innocent is hiding.
“Gotcha!” murmurs Bianca as she finally “sees” where the innocent is hiding. Bianca smiles mischievously and shimmers out…
…shimmering behind a huge maple tree, and there in front of her is the innocent. “Boo,” she whispers playfully.
The woman looks at her in surprise and begins to run off again, but before she can lead her to another chase, Bianca grabs the thrashing woman’s arms with her enhanced Phoenix-strength.
“Let me go!” the woman squeals, as she kicks pointlessly. “Who are you? Please, just leave me alone…” The woman begins to cry, her tears falling on the ground.
“We don’t want to hurt you, we just want to help. Please, believe me,” says Bianca.
Before she can say another word, Chris and Steven appear in a show of orbs in front of Bianca and the innocent.
“Good job!” exclaims Chris. He looks at the innocent, who is still in some shock.
Bianca finally lets the innocent slip from her forceful grasp. The woman rubs her now sore arms and asks again, “Who are you people?” She hesitated, “Are you here to steal…to steal my…my…p..powers, too?”
Chris, Bianca, and Steven look at the woman in shock. “Powers? This woman has powers?” thinks Chris.
Bianca asks the innocent, “Wait, you’re a witch?!?” She stares at the woman in disbelief.
“I don’t know…I really don’t…” the woman trails off, “but that was what, Brad, my boyfriend who suddenly turned into a demon, called me…”
“Cool! You’re a witch, too?” asks Steven, happy and excited to know that there are many more like him. “So, what’s your power?”
Chapter 4
Chris and Bianca are huddled around the innocent in the Halliwell attic. Steven has volunteered to go into the kitchen to brew some tea.
“Thank you for saving me and all, but I’ve already told you guys, I’m not a witch!” exclaims the innocent, her hands are outstretched in frustration, “I don’t even have powers!”
“Are you sure, Sarah? I mean, can you levitate things or throw stuff around?” Chris asks, trying to maintain his cool. They’ve brought Sarah, their innocent, to the Manor, figuring that this would be the safest place to hide her in case there are more demons after her. For the past hour, Chris and Bianca have been questioning Sarah, interviewing her and getting to know her better. “Or how about seeing the future? How about being invisible?” Chris looks at Sarah intently, trying to figure out what her powers are. He runs through every power that he could think of at the moment, and sees if any of them matched Sarah’s abilities.
“I told you, I AM NOT A WITCH!” Sarah replies more forcefully this time.
Bianca gazes into Sarah’s eyes, “But that’s impossible, the demon called you ‘witch’, that must mean that he’s after…”
“…my powers. I know, I’ve read that somewhere, but I’ve already told you a million times, I don’t have powers!” Sarah finishes Bianca’s explanation. “The only power I have is the power to ruin every dinner that I make. Besides, maybe the demon made a mistake, maybe I wasn’t the target. Maybe it was someone else who looks like me!” says Sarah hopefully.
“Like I’ve said, that’s impossible. Demons and warlocks usually lock onto a witch’s essence. It doesn’t matter how you look like, all they see is the inherent power of the witch,” explains Bianca.
Chris stands up and begins to pace around the attic. “Yeah, she’s right. Demons don’t just make mistakes. You’re a witch, Sarah, whether you like it or not.”
Before any of the three people inside the attic can reply, Steven enters the attic, a tray of tea and biscuits in hand. “Anybody up for some snacks? Sorry, these biscuits are a bit stale, but they’re still edible, though,” offers Steven. He places the tray on one of the rickety tables and sits beside Bianca. “So what’ve I missed?”
Sarah stands up, looks at Steven from head to toe and says, “You seem like the sensible-type, can you please tell these people that I’m not a witch?”
Steven shakes his head, “Nope, sorry, no can do. I’m with them all the way. And besides, that’s what I said, too, before. I’ve been through the ‘I’m-not-a-witch’ stage...”
Sarah sinks back on the chair again, slaps her forehead, and mutters a single, “Ugh.”
Chapter 5
In a cave that is lit by thousands of torches and is lined by skulls, a figure is seated on a throne made of bones and claws. Shadows upon shadows envelop his face, hiding it from sight. Standing in front of this ominous figure is a demon; its head is bowed down in respect.
“Have you captured the witch?” questions the figure, his voice strong and confident.
The demon cowers from the figure and takes a few steps back, “N..no, my liege. We…we failed to capture her…she was, she was saved, according to our reports, by…by your,” the demon hesitates, “…brother.”
The figure yells, “I DON’T HAVE A BROTHER!” and with that, he hurls a fireball at the demon, vanquishing him. “Chris…” mutters the figure, anger running through his voice.
“My liege, do you think it wise to vanquish members of our army? Golfang was the seventeenth demon you’ve killed in as many minutes,” says a seductive, female voice.
The figure stands up from where he has been sitting and steps down from his throne, stepping on the demon’s ashes. “I will ask for your advice when I need it,” his tone menacing and dark.
“Of course, Lord Wyatt…” the voice hurriedly covers her mouth, regretting what she has just said.
“WHAT DID I TELL YOU!!! WYATT IS LONG GONE! THERE IS ONLY ANON, LEADER OF THE UNDERWORLD!”
“My apologies, Lord Anon…I…I don’t know what came over me...Please, forgive my insolence,” says the voice.
“Make that mistake one more time, Oracle, and you will pay for your mistake in blood!” shouts Wyatt/Anon. His voice finally returns to normal. He waves his hand and the Oracle appears out of the caves in a swirl of misty smokes.
The Oracle bows her head down in reverence to her Lord, “My liege.”
Wyatt/Anon turns over to the now-visible Oracle, “How fares the captive?”
The Oracle cups her hand, and right there and then, appears her scrying ball. She gazes upon the smooth surface of her ball and passes her hand over it. “Reveal,” she commands.
A face suddenly appears inside the crystal ball- a woman with black hair, pale, white skin, and full red lips appears. Her body is shackled to a wall by huge metallic clamps, her feet is bound by gigantic iron balls.
Lord Wyatt/Anon smiles at the image and sarcastically intones to the crystal ball, “Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Poor ‘Auntie’ Paige. you had to go through so much, didn’t you?” He walks over closer to the Oracle, “For years, I’ve tried to make you cross over…to join me by my side. But no, no, no…ever since you sacrificed yourself for ‘Auntie’ Phoebe’s life, you’ve endured one of my tortures after the next. But, the worst is still to come, my dearest ‘aunt.’ You WILL join me, one way or another. Your power will soon be mine, Paige Matthews, soon!!!”
Wyatt/Anon’s eyes glow an unnatural red color, and inside the crystal ball, Paige Matthew’s frail form begins to shake violently, as if she is being electrocuted. “Aiiii!” screams Paige in agony. A deadly grin spreads across Wyatt/Anon’s face, “Oooh, delicious, please do scream more for me, my dearest aunt…” He sends more electric shocks to her aunt via the crystal ball. Paige shakes more violently, screams more loudly, until at last, she faints again, for the hundredth time.
Wyatt/Anon sneers, “Yummy.”
“Keep me posted on my dear aunt’s ‘well-being,’ Oracle. I want an update every half-hour. Fail, and you will be joining her. Do I make myself clear?” he looks threateningly at the Oracle, which causes her to shrink away.
“Yes, yes, of course, my Lord.” The Oracle disappears again in a swirl of smoke, waiting for her master’s orders.
Wyatt/Anon goes back to his throne and takes seat. He rubs his chin, closes his eyes, and maps his next plan of action. “Chris,” he mutters again, closing his hands and forming them into tight fists.
--- this is Wyatt/Anon hehe

Chapter 6
Sarah wakes up from her sleep and rubs her neck. *Yawnn..*
“Hey, everyone, convinced that I’m not a witch, yet?” Sarah asks, a bit of sarcasm in her tone.
“NO!” Steven, Bianca, and Chris answer angrily.
Sarah puts her hands up in defense, “Sheesh! Fine! You don’t have to shout!” She stretches her arms out, shaking the rest of her sleepiness away.
Chris looks at Sarah with frustration and thinks, “I’m 100% sure that she’s a witch, but why doesn’t she just admit it?”
Sarah blinks in surprise. She is caught off guard, and replies angrily, “Why should I admit that I’m a witch if I’m not one?”
Chris is shocked by her sudden outburst, “What? Who’re you talking to?”
Sarah gazes at Chris exasperatedly, “Don’t think I didn’t hear your little comment, Mr.- I-know-it-all.”
“But I didn’t even say anything!” replies Chris, eyes now wide with disbelief.
Sarah rolls her eyes, “Whatever.” She continues to pace around the attic, looking at the various potions on one of the shelves. Suddenly, she turns around and looks at Bianca, “What?!? I am not the @#%$, you are!” She runs over to Bianca, her hands are balled into tight fists, when suddenly, Sarah screams in pain, “Aaahhh!!!”
Bianca is the first to rush over to the screaming innocent, “What is it? Sarah! What’s happening?”
“Ahh..someone..someone is in intense pain,” Sarah reports, her red curls bobbing to and fro her head as she reels in from the shock.
Chris goes over to Sarah’s side, “What? Where? How..how do you know?”
“I…I don’t know…it just came to me…like a…a vision. I really can’t explain it, but I know, and by ‘know’, I mean really, really know that someone is hurt and needs help…I can feel his pain…Call it a hunch, intuition, I really don’t know, but hurry!” explains Sarah, at a loss for words.
“Okay, Sherlock,” Steven is now standing next to Chris, “where should we hurry to?”
Chris grabs Steven’s shoulders and they orb out, while Bianca takes hold of Sarah’s hand and they shimmer out. Within minutes, the foursome appears inside an abandoned warehouse.
Bianca scans the warehouse with wary eyes. “Sarah, are you sure that this is the place?” She suddenly hears an explosion, one loud enough to confirm everyone’s suspicions. “There!” Bianca says to the group as she finishes scanning the warehouse.
Chris and Sarah guide the group through the warehouse, with Sarah leading the way. “Turn here, uugghh…his pain is getting worse, HURRY!” Sarah would cry every time the group rounds a corner.
The group finally reaches their destination. In the center of the dilapidated building lies a wounded man, in his mid-forties. He has a huge wound in his chest, covering his entire shirt with red, sticky blood.
Upon seeing the group, he musters his last remaining strength and mutters, “Help me…please…help me..”
Chris quickly rushes over to the man’s side and kneels down, holding his hands out over the man’s fatal wound. Remembering how his father, Leo Wyatt, has trained him in the healing arts, Chris concentrates hard, focusing his energy to heal the wounded man. His hands glow a golden-white light, and in a heartbeat, the man’s wound disappears, leaving only a small stain on the man’s shirt.
“Th…thank you, whoever you are,” mumbles the man, still unbelieving that he is still alive.
“What happened? Who attacked you?” asks Chris, concern filling his voice.
“A…a demon. It…she…had sharp nails and fangs…” remembers the man, his brows are knitted in concentration.
“Harpies, most definitely,” Steven declares confidently, remembering the image of the demon from the Book of Shadows.
“There must still be some lurking in here. I’m sensing some pretty hostile beings in here,” reports Bianca to the group.
“Yeah, and I can still feel remnants of angry and violent thoughts in the area,” Sarah says, still confused as to how she can sense thoughts and emotions.
“So let’s go, team!” calls Chris, “Are you going to be alright, Mr..uhh..?”
“Peterson. Call me Grant. I..I’ll be fine, I’m just a bit shaky…and rattled, but it’ll pass. I’ll get my ass out of here as fast as I can. Thanks again…” Grant Peterson looks at the group thankfully, and with a nod, runs toward the exit of the warehouse, disappearing behind huge crates.
The foursome continues their search for the remaining demons in the warehouse, with the two women leading the search. The man, Grant Peterson, suddenly stops from his escape, and with an evil grin, is engulfed in flames. He glances back from behind the crate, making sure that no one is looking. His molecules begin to transmute, swirling in black orbs. In a flash, his face changes from sweet, forty-something Grant Peterson to devilishly- handsome…Leo Wyatt, wearing a black cape with a skull in the center.
Leo smirks, “Thanks for the save, ‘son.’”
And with that, he dark orbs out.

Chapter 7
Leo dark orbs into the Underworld, into the throne-room of Wyatt/Anon.
Wyatt/Anon stands up from his throne and smiles at his father. He speaks, with false respect and sweetness, “Dear, dear father, have you done what I’ve told you to do?”
“Yes, my Lord,” Leo bows down in respect for his son. “Your suspicions have been confirmed, Christopher Perry Halliwell is indeed saving innocents and hunting down our demons.”
“Of course my suspicions are correct, you fool! I only needed you to double-check them,” barks Wyatt/Anon.
“If you don’t mind me asking, your Excellency…” Leo looks up at Wyatt/Anon and pauses, as if waiting for his lord’s response. When he doesn’t receive any, he continues, “But of what use have we for knowing Christopher Halliwell’s location and whereabouts?”
“YOU DARE QUESTION MY AUTHORITY?” booms the Lord of the Underworld.
“N…no, master. I am just curious…forgive my impudence,” Leo bows down again.
“Curiosity killed the cat, father dear,” Wyatt/Anon calms down and surprisingly snickers at his own little joke, “But since you’re my beloved father, I’ll tell you. I need to know his moves so that I could plan my own.” He sneers and continues, “So how does it feel to see your son again, ‘dad’?”
Leo cannot answer, knowing deep in his heart that if he starts talking about his second son, his first-born would get angry and might do something to Chris. “I..I..”
“Cat got your tongue, father dearest?” taunts Wyatt/Anon. “You must really miss him. How does he look like now? Does he still possess that weakness that he got from Piper Halliwell?” Wyatt/Anon smiles at his last statement, knowing that he has just struck a nerve, a very sensitive nerve.
“HOW DARE YOU!” Leo bellows, jumping at Wyatt/Anon, lunging at his throat. “DO NOT TALK ABOUT MY WIF….” But before Leo can finish his sentence and reach his target, Wyatt/Anon flames out and flames in behind his father. Leo hits the foot of the throne with a *THUD*. He quickly looks behind, body poising for battle. Wyatt/Anon quickly raises his hand, and Leo Wyatt’s body shakes violently.
“Now, now, is that any way to treat your favorite son?” Wyatt/Anon says with fake sweetness.
Before Leo completely passes out, he is able to mutter a single, “You’re not my son.” He passes out from the pain, both physical and emotional.
Wyatt/Anon smirks sarcastically, “Bastard. You’ve finally grown a back-bone.”
He paces around his unconscious father’s body, and with a single glance, kicks him out of his way. Leo rolls from his spot on the floor to the cavern’s walls, “uuhh..”
“So you like saving innocents, huh, dear brother…” Wyatt/Anon sits back on his throne, rubbing has hands together. “Hmmm.”
Chapter 8
Back at the Manor, Chris, Bianca, Sarah, and Steven are sitting in the Manor’s living room.
Chris has been talking for the past half- hour. He has been explaining to Sarah, and to Bianca and Steven as well, the nature of her powers. “You’re a tele-empath, Sarah,” he has explained. “A tele-empath is one who can feel what others are feeling and sense them telepathically. Tele-empathy is a rare gift, Sarah. You’re lucky to have received this.”
“Uhh…thanks, I guess. But it- this darn power- is giving me a headache. I can sense your emotions,” Sarah says as she points to Chris, “yours,” she points to Bianca, and “ and yours,” she points to Steven. Sarah adds as she stares at Steven with a hint of disgust, “and they’re disgusting. I’m not interested.”
Bianca looks at Steven and mischievously asks, “Do we even have to know?”
Steven looks away, his face is flushed with a deep red color- he is obviously embarrassed. “Uhh…”
Bianca and Sarah, “Ewww!”
Chris laughs out loud and telekinetically hurls a pillow at Steven.
“Pillow fight!” shouts Sarah, as she grabs a pillow and starts whacking Steven on the side. Bianca laughs and shimmers out of the way as Steven throws a pillow at her. Pretty soon, the three are in a full scale pillow fight, causing feathers to fly all over the living room.
Chris looks at them proudly, “Not a bad day’s work,” he thinks, “we’ve saved two innocents, one who turns out to be a witch, and vanquished quite a handful of demons.” And as he looks at the battling trio, for the first time, he smiles from the heart, knowing with his heart, that this is the dawn of a new beginning, and they are his new family…the new Charmed Ones.

Revelations- Part Two Bianca paces back and forth inside the living room of Halliwell Manor. Sunlight peeks in through the small cracks in the boarded windows of the Manor and falls on Bianca’s face, illuminating her sharp features.
She has been pacing inside the living room for hours now, ever since her husband, Christopher Halliwell, has gone out with their team-mate, Steven Thomas, on a demon-hunt. She has been, for the past half-hour or so, biting her fingernails in anxiety. She looks down at her hands and stares at disbelief, “Yeech!” She has bitten all of her nails to the quick. Still, she continues to bite them and gnaw at them, attacking her nails nervously.
Sarah Mitchell, their new innocent-turned-ally, is sitting on one of the couches in the living room, reading the Book of Shadows, memorizing spells, glancing at potion recipes. “Man, look at these weird potions! Hey, did you know that there’s a cool shape-shifting potion in here?” asks Sarah enthusiastically, looking at Bianca with a grin.
Bianca stops and looks at the page in the Book of Shadows that Sarah is checking out. “Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend it. Used it before, boy, big drama!” She throws her arms over her head, remembering the time she and Chris has used it on one of their demon-hunting escapades. She closes her eyes and continues to pace around the living room, which causes Sarah to roll her eyes.
“Ugh!” Sarah winces in pain, her power starting to kick in, letting her pick up on someone’s stray thoughts- Bianca’s. “Will you stop it with the pacing and the thinking already? Your walking all over the place is making me dizzy!”
Bianca ignores her and continues to pace all over the place, making Sarah’s head hurt more. Sarah looks at the Phoenix and asks point-blank, “What are you so nervous about anyway?”
Bianca stops mid-stride, looks at Sarah, and grins innocently, “Me? Nervous? Why would I be?” She finally stops pacing and sits across from her new friend.
“You tell me. I mean, I’m getting these really tense vibrations from you, Bianca,” Sarah reaches her hand out to touch Bianca’s, “I’m your ally, Bianca, and your friend, and friendship flowers with trust. If we’re ever gonna be close, I want you to know that you can trust me with whatever’s bothering you,” Sarah says empathically.
“Well, urrmmm….” But before Bianca can explain her situation, Sarah “reads” another one of Bianca’s emotions.
“Oh my Goddess!” Sarah’s eyes grow big with surprise. “You.. you...you’re…”
Bianca’s face turns into a mixture of shock and horror, “Yes…I am, but how…wait, did you just ‘read’ me?”
Sarah shrugs her shoulders, “Sorry, but I still can’t control this power…so, when did you find out?”
“Just this morning…I…I felt something, and when I scanned myself…” Bianca trails off, leaving the rest for the tele-empath to read.
“I see. Have you told Chris yet?”
Bianca buries her head in her hands and replies, “No, not yet. I haven’t found the chance to tell him yet, what with all the demon-hunting, and the newbie-training…I just…I just don’t want to add to his load.”
“Oh honey,” Sarah walks over to Bianca and gives her a hug, “You have to tell him some time. He deserves to know it, too.”
“I…I know, but not now. We…we have to concentrate on vanquishing demons first,” says Bianca, then he looks at Sarah, “Please, don’t tell him yet. I want to be the one to break the news to him.”
“Sure, no problem.” Sarah continues to hug her friend, when Chris and Steven orb into the Manor, covered in red and purple slime, laughing hysterically.
Bianca and Sarah both look up. “What happened to the two of you?”
