Chapter one
Leo orbed into the kitchen to find a busy Piper trying to calm down Wyatt while cooking. “Leo!” Piper said when she finally noticed him. “Here, take Wyatt,” she said and handed him their son and rushed over to the oven and pulled out a batch of chocolate chip cookies. “Zoey its seven-thirty!” she yelled.
Zoey came flying out of the basement. “Have you seen my black composition book?” she said looking through a stack of paper on the shelf. “It has a sticker that says-”
“ON the dining room table,” Piper replied scooping the cookies up with a spatula and placing them into a container.
“Got it; are the cookies done?”
“Here,” Piper threw the container to Zoey.
“Ok gotta go. You’re bringing the food over still, right?”
“Yeah, did you eat the breakfast I gave you?”
“Along with the o.j.,” a car horn honked several times. “Hi and bye Leo.” Zoey ran out of the kitchen.
“What’s going on today?” Leo asked eating a spare cookie.
Piper sighed, “The cookies were for Zoey’s club bake sale, and I have to finish making the food for the school’s blood drive.”
Leo looked at her shocked, “You’re letting her donate blood?”
“It’s for a good cause. She could save four lives with one pint of blood. Besides, she’s done it before.”
“Piper, magic runs in her blood, you know that can not be mixed with mortal blood.”
Piper sighed, “I’ll call her up then.”
****
“Unbelievable!” Zoey exclaimed as she slammed shut her cell phone.
“What’s wrong?” Jake asked as the two walked arm in arm down the crowded hall.
“That was Piper saying that I can’t give blood because of what I am,” she explained. The two came to their lockers. “She says if mine mixes with a mortal, the side affects could be malignant.”
“That sucks, but is it the same if you needed blood?”
Zoey shrugged, “I don’t know.”
Bryan came up behind Zoey quietly, “Boo!”
Zoey jumped and smacked her head into the locker, “Ow!” Zoey got up and punched Bryan in the arm. Zoey glared at him and rubbed the back of her head. “I hate having the bottom locker.”
Bryan hugged her, “Sorry ZoZo, I couldn’t help myself.” Is hands slid to her lower back.
Zoey leaned in, “And I suppose you couldn’t help yourself again?” She smiled seductively at him.
“Are you coming on to me?” Bryan asked in a hopeful tone.
She leaned in closer then pinched him in the arm, “Don’t try to get fresh with me Bryan Atwood.”
He grinned and let go of her. “So what’s up? Still giving blood at lunch today?”
The three began walking down the hall. “No, I can’t anymore,” Zoey replied gloomily.
“What changed?” Bryan asked.
“My life,” Zoey said and the three entered a classroom.

Chapter two
“Where are we going?” a girl with shoulder length curly brown hair asked the young man who steered her around by the shoulders.
“We’re almost there,” he said.
“Oh!” she grabbed onto him as she stumbled. “Jeepers; Dean are you sure I can’t take the blindfold off.”
“Not yet,” he guided her a little further. Her pale pink poodle skirt rustled against the bushes as she past them by. The sun shined down though the spaces between the leaves and the trees, casting specks of sunlight here and there.
The young man smiled revealing tiny dimples in his cheeks. He brown hair was illuminated by the sun. “Here we are,” Dean announced and removed the blindfold away from her eyes.
She opened her eyes slowly, and they soon became wide with joy. “Oh Dean, it’s the tree that we carved our names into two years ago, when you gave me your ring to wear.” The girl smiled nostalgically as she ran her fingers along the engraved bark of the giant oak tree. She turned towards Dean smiling as brightly as ever. “Dean, what’s wrong? You seem nervous, you’re never nervous.”
Dean smiled nervously and got down on one knee; his blue eyes locked onto hers and he held her hand in his. “Mary-Anne Kingsley, I think you are the most beautiful girl in the world. You’ve changed my life in countless ways. I loved you since the day I met you and I love you more than anything and I want us to be together for the rest of our lives.” Dean reached into his blue and white letterman’s jacket and retrieved a small white gold diamond engagement ring. “Mary-Anne Kingsley, will you marry me?”
Mary-Anne dropped to her knees and shook her head, “Yes, yes of course I’ll marry you.”
****
“Zoey, Zoey wake up,” Piper said as she continued to shake her.
“What- what’s going on?” Zoey blinked a few times before noticing that she was lying on the kitchen floor. A broken glass and a puddle of orange juice lay near to her. “Oh, I’m so sorry about that. I’ll clean it up. How did I get down here?”
“Oh no,” you should stay down. I found you like this. You’re lucky you didn’t land on the broken glass. You might have hit you’re head so stay down for a while.”
Chris orbed into the kitchen. “Yeah, what’s up?”
“I found her passed out on the floor. I called you just in case…you know,” Piper explained.
“Are you alright?” Chris asked as he tried to help her up.
She shooed him away with her hand. “I’m fine. I’m- oh!” she grabbed onto him as she stumbled. “Jeepers!”
Chris helped her stand upright.
“Jeepers, since when do you say Jeepers?” Piper asked looking at Zoey curiously. “Maybe you did hit your head.”
“No, for your information, Jeepers it the new…thing to say.”
She stumbled again and once again Chris caught her. “Let go, I’m fine,” she mumbled.
“Maybe you should lie down,” Piper said. “I’ll make you some tea.”
“I’ll help you down to your room,” Chris offered.
Zoey jerked away from him. “I can take myself down there thank you very much.”
“I was just-”
“Yes I know and thank you but no thank you.” Zoey began making her way towards the basement door. The floor beneath her seemed to sway about and become almost as if she were walking upon Jell-o. She rocked back and forth, trying to take hold of the handle. She fell forward but caught hold of the door knob. She sighed, “I think that the only way I could make it on my own is by falling down the stairs. Does your offer still stand?”
“I don’t know, what’s the magic word?” Chris teased.
Piper smacked him in the arm.
“Please?” she said in false saccharin sweet tone.
“I was looking for Zoey was being stubborn and Chris is the best but please will do.”
Piper snickered and shook her head. Sometimes the way these two treated each other was really something.
“Easy,” Chris said as he helped Zoey down the last step. “If one has a concussion, would one feel extremely dizzy?”
Zoey shook her head as if it would help rid her of the dizziness. “Oh, that just made it worse. I need to lie down. Help me to my bed.”
“Zoey please, we don’t even know each other that well,” he replied teasingly.
“Ok mister, you have been hanging out with Jake and Bryan a little too much.”
Chris laughed. “See, you needed my help after all,” he said as they walked across the basement which was now completely transformed. Posters and photographs decorated the wall along with magazine and newspaper clippings. Book shelves lined a lot of the walls and were stacked full with books on art, theater, history, fiction, and magazines.
Her bed was large and placed in the center of one wall. The comforter was a pale green with white polka dots on it. The pillow cases were a light yellow and stacked neatly against the frame of the bed. The teddy bear that Chris had given her a week ago sat in the center of the pillows.
The basement floor now had a few rugs of burgundy and blue lining the floor near her bed. There was a section of the basement where she had created a mini study area. There was another section that was her area for all of her clothes. Most hung in her dark cherry wood wardrobe and others filled the matching dressers. There was also a section where she kept all her artistic work such as her cameras, sewing machine, sketch pad and her seemingly never ending pile of c.d.’s.
The basement resembled her in every way, Chris thought. It was colorful, full of pictures and neat.
“Yeah well, don’t get used to it,” Zoey said.
“You’re really stubborn you know?”
“Like you’re not?” Zoey felt the floor swirling beneath her again. Suddenly it was as if the floor disappeared beneath her and she fell back taking Chris with her. Zoey laughed, “I’m sorry, I’m just full of grace today.
Chris smiled down at her. He never really looked at her before. She was beautiful. She wore no make up right now, which was the first time he had ever seen her with out her dark eye liner on. He noticed that her brown hair had natural blonde and red high lights in it. He also noticed that she wore the same perfume that she had worn at the fair.
“What?” Zoey asked looking at him curiously.
“Never mind,” he said quickly and sat up.
Zoey sat up to, placing a hand to her still dizzy head. “Chris…”
“Zoey…”

“Well if you won’t tell me what you were going to say, I’ll tell you about this weird dream that I’ve been having.”
“Please don’t let it be another about clowns, the leprechaun from the Lucky Charms cereal box, or Johnny Depp.”
“No, not clowns and not the leprechaun…were you eaves dropping when I was on the phone with Tina?”
“So about this dream,” Chris said quickly.
Zoey studied him for a moment before replying. “Anyways, it’s set in the fifties and it seems so real, like it isn’t a dream. I mean, there are people in it who seem like their more than just figments of my imagination.”
“Well a lot of dreams may seem that way.”
“True, but what if I told you that I could smell the scent of the grass and feel the heat of the sun on my arms?”
“What, you think you might have the ability to see into the past?”
“No, I don’t know. I’m telling you just about the dream that I’ve been having for the last month.”
“What’s the dream about?” he asked curiously.
“It’s about this girl named Mary-Anne and she has this boyfriend Dean who is the love of her life. He sort of looks like you in a way.”
“Really?”
“Anyways, the two get engaged and then I don’t know. I’ve never got to the wedding.” She sighed, “Well, what do you think doctor?”
“Maybe you’re subconscious is trying to tell you something. Dreams are how people sort things out in their lives and the characters and the entire dream itself symbolizes a bigger picture. It could be that.”
Zoey thought about that for a moment. “Ok, but what would the Lucky Charms leprechaun symbolize?”
“I have no idea.”
****
Tears were streaming down Mary-Anne’s face; blood stained her white wedding gown. “Dean,” she shook him but he didn’t respond. His blue eyes were frozen wide with pain. “Dean, don’t leave me,” she cried. “You can’t leave me.”
“Mary-Anne, he’ll be back soon,” her mother warned. “We have to leave, now.”
Mary-Anne kissed Dean on the lips and closed his eyes.
****
Zoey was in the middle of serving dinner when she felt a weird feeling in her heart.
“Zoey what happened?” Phoebe asked placing a hand to her own chest.
Zoey had done the same. “I-I don’t know. I thing my hormones have gone out of whack.” She wiped away tears that streamed down her face. “What the hell?”
“Would someone explain what’s going on?” Piper asked looking at Phoebe then back at Zoey.
“I sensed that her heart was breaking,” Phoebe explained.
“Are you thinking about Damien?” Chris asked.
“Well I wasn’t until now,” she replied.
Leo orbed in. “Something has gone terribly wrong.”
“What do you mean?” Paige asked. But before he could answer, a bright flash of white light filled the room.

Chapter three
“Mary-Anne, Mary-Anne,” Dean said shaking Zoey. Zoey opened her eyes slowly and widened at the sight of Dean. She sat up quickly and backed a little away from him. “Mary-Anne, you scared me,” Dean said and hugged her and kissed her.
“Get off of me,” Zoey said and pushed him away.
Dean looked both hurt and confused at the same time. “Are you feeling alright Mary-Anne?”
Zoey looked at him curiously, “Dean?”
Dean smiled nervously, “You hit your head harder than I thought.”
“Oh my god,” she mumbled.
Dean walked over to her and knelt down beside her. He held her face in his hands and studied her for a moment. His magnificent blue eyes locked onto hers. “Are you alright? Do you feel dizzy? How many fingers am I holding up?”
“I’m fine; not dizzy; three fingers,” Zoey replied.
“All right, well I have to get going to work. Howard called in and he needs an extra hand at the shop.” He kissed her lips. He was a very good kisser Zoey thought. “I’ll see you later tonight?”
“Tonight?”
“Yeah, we’re agreed to spend time together before the wedding and we’re having dinner at Linda’s.”
Zoey smiled, “Right, well have a swell day.”
Dean smiled and kissed her again and left.
Zoey looked around the small Victorian house she was in. A calendar on the wall read 1955. “Oh jeepers.”
****
“Who are you people?” a young woman with brown hair wearing a pearl necklace demanded.
Piper, Paige, Phoebe, Leo and Chris were in the living room of the Halliwell manor but none of the furniture was really the same. Everything was different. The clothes that the woman wore were conservative and seemingly from the fifties. The paint was a plain off white color.
“Linda, are they demons?” another brunet asked entering the living room.
“No, we’re fellow witches,” Piper said quickly.
“If you’re witches, prove it,” Linda said her face as expressionless as ever.
“Our powers don’t work in the past,” Phoebe reminded in a whisper.
Leo orbed then re-appeared.
“A white lighter, what are you doing here?” Linda asked suspiciously.
“We’re wondering that too,” Leo said. “But these are good witches.”
“I’m Piper and these are my sisters Phoebe and Paige. The white lighter would be Leo and that over there would be Chris.”
“Mother, you didn’t tell me that we were having guests,” a young girl around 18 with red hair said coming down the stairs.
“They turned up un-expectantly,” Linda replied.
“Where did you come from?” the young girl asked. “You don’t look like you come from around here.”
Before they could answer the door bell rang.
“I’ll get that,” Linda said.
“Mary-Anne, what brings you here so early? I wasn’t expecting you and Dean until a little later.” Linda gave Zoey a hug.
“I hope I’m not intruding but I thought that I’d stop by since I was in the neighborhood.”
“Of course not, come in,” Linda said. “Is Dean here too?”
“Uh no, he had to work.”
Zoey saw Piper and the others but before she could say anything to them she was ambushed by four ladies. “There’s our bride to be!” a brunette cried out hugging Zoey so tightly that she thought you would stop breathing soon.
“How are you doing?”
“Where’s Dean?”
“Did you send your dress to the tailor?”
“How are you going to wear your hair? Have you decided?”
“Are your parents flying in this weekend?”
“How’s Dean?”
“Oh you’re going to be the most beautiful bride!”
“Ladies, Ladies, you’re going to exhaust her out. Mary-Anne,” the young red head said.
“Penny, how’s my maid of honor?” Zoey asked. She didn’t know how she knew who all these people were but she just did.
“Grams?” Paige whispered to Phoebe. The three sisters looked adoringly at their grandmother.
“Your maid of honor wants to know how you’re feeling,” Penny said studying her closely. “Dean just phoned shortly before you arrived. He told me that you had a nasty little fall when you were hanging a picture in the parlor, are you alright?”
“You poor thing; would you like some tea?” Linda asked. Linda left before Zoey could reply.
“I’m fine really, just a bit dizzy is all,” she said to Penny. Zoey turned to the others, “Leo!”
“You know these people?” Penny asked curiously.
“Yeah, they’re friends of the family.”
“Mary-Anne, why haven’t you introduced us before? Especially to the good looking one in the green sweater.”
Chris blushed a bit. Phoebe snickered.
“They-they went on vacation. To Europe which is why they are dressed the way they are. It’s the latest trend.”
“I thought you were with Wolly,” a blonde lady said.
Penny rolled her eyes, “Oh please, don’t get me started on that subject.”
Zoey smiled, “Penny, ladies, could I have a word with them in private please?”
Penny nodded, “Come on ladies, the tea should be done by now.”
“Zoey what the hell is going on here?” Chris demanded.
“Don’t start with me Christopher, its 1955 and I’m getting married in less than four days.”
“Married?” Piper said confused.
“Wait a minute, how are you getting married?” Paige asked. “We just got here.”
“I don’t know. All I know is that I’m getting married to an incredibly handsome 18 year old guy named Dean.”
“Wait, Dean as in the Dean in you dreams that you’ve been having?” Chris asked.
“The exact same one only in the flesh,” Zoey replied airily.
“How?” Phoebe asked.
“How? How? You’re asking me that? How the hell am I supposed to know, this is what I’ve been dreaming about for the past month.” Zoey sighed, “Sorry, I’m just a bit freaked out still from waking up in some strange guy’s arms and a completely different time period.”
“This is what the elders told me about.” Leo said.
“Wait a minute; you knew that we were going to be propelled back in time?” Piper questioned.
“Well not really, only that Zoey is living out one of her past lives.”
“My past life?” Zoey repeated. “Does this reflect on my future life, ‘because I don’t want to get married any time soon.”
Leo laughed, “No, but you have to play this all out. Something terrible happened somewhere during this time which caused a ripple affect in history,” Leo explained.
Penny and Linda came back into the living room with tea. “Mary-Anne, Dean is on the phone for you,” Linda informed setting the tea tray upon the coffee table.
Zoey smiled excitedly and hurried out of the room.
“Well you can all stay here if you’d like,” Penny said. “I have some clothes for you girls but-”
“We’ll go out,” Leo said. “Come on Chris.”
End of chapter three

Chapter four
“Piper, where’d you learn to cook so great?” Linda asked.
“Oh I learned from my grams,” Piper replied with a proud smile as she added some pepper to the stew. “Check the bread for me,” Piper said.
Linda took the banana nut bread out of the oven.
“Mmm, it smells delicious,” Penny stated as she walked into the kitchen. Chris and Leo were right behind her.
“Leo, look at you,” Piper said with a big smile.
“You like it?” Leo asked.
Piper nodded and the two held each other’s gaze for a moment. Piper smiled and turned towards Chris. “Aww Chris, you look good. I like the hair.”
Chris smiled as he patted down his hair. “It’s ok.”
Zoey walked in the kitchen carrying a bouquet of assorted flowers consisting of yellow roses, baby breath, pale pink carnations, and red carnations. “From Wolly,” she said and handed the bouquet to Penny.
Penny sighed and dumped the flowers into the trash can. “Penny!” Linda exclaimed.
Zoey laughed, “Well that’s what he deserves. He treated her as something one wears upon one’s arm.”
“It’s going to take more than flowers to get my acceptance for his apology,” Penny stated. “I gave him back his pin too.”
“Penny!” Zoey teased.
Penny smiled smugly.
Zoey looked at Leo and Chris, “My, my, you two clean up good.” Leo smiled. “Dare I say it? You both look handsome.”
“When’s your fiancé coming?” Linda asked.
“He should be here shortly and afterwards he’s got this romantic date set up for the both of us.”
“Oh Mary-Anne, you’re lucky to have a guy like him,” Penny said. “I still can’t believe that you’re getting married.”
“I know,” Zoey replied cheerfully. “I’m just glad that it’s with Dean.”
“Well didn’t you say that you knew that the two of you would be married from the very fist day you met him?”
“I did say that didn’t I?” Zoey said.
“Penny, come help me serve,” Linda said.
“How do you know so much?” Piper asked Zoey after Penny and Linda had left the kitchen.
“I’m not sure, I just remember…everything. It’s like reading a book about someone’s life.”
“That’s because it’s your life, remember?” Leo said.
“Mary-Anne, Dean is here,” Penny announced.
Zoey quickly smoothed out her hair. “How do I look?”
“Beautiful,” Leo replied.
Zoey smiled and ran out of the kitchen.
“Look at her,” Piper said. “I haven’t seen her this way since…”
“I know,” Leo said.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, it’s just- I hope she’ll get to act this way in our time that’s all.”
“Dean!”
Dean hugged her and spun her around. “How are you feeling?” he asked and kissed her lips.
“Peachy keen,” Zoey replied and continued to kiss him. “I want you to meet some friends of mine.” She grabbed his hand and led him into the dining room.
“Dean, I’d like you to meet Piper, Phoebe, and Paige.”
“Hello; pleased to meet you,” Dean said and shook hands with the sisters.
Chris and Leo entered the dining room. “Oh, and this is a dear friend of mine Leo, and this is Chris.”
“Are they coming to the wedding?” Dean asked.
“Of course they are if not, I’m afraid we’re going to run into some problems.”
Everyone was in the middle of eating desert and having a good time when Penny stood up and tapped on her wine glass with a fork. Every one quieted down and gave her their attention.
“I would just like to make a toast to the lovely soon-to-be-married couple. May your life together be a joyous one. To Mary-Anne and Dean.”
“To Mary-Anne and Dean,” repeated in unison and raised their wine glasses in a toast.
Suddenly a demon shimmered in. He lit a fire ball and sent it flying at Zoey. She raised her hand and deflected it, causing the fireball to fly back to its owner. The demon caught it and with a wave of his hand, sent Dean and Zoey flying across the dining room.
Penny sent the demon into the wall and Linda lit an energy ball and caused the demon to explode.
“Leo!” Zoey yelled.
Leo rushed over and found that Dean was bleeding from the side of his head; he wasn’t moving. Leo placed his hands over Dean and the wound healed.
Dean opened his eyes with a gasp. “Mary-Anne?”
“I’m here,” Zoey said and hugged him and kissed his forehead.
She helped Dean to his feet. “You’re bleeding,” he said noticing the cut on her right arm.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”
“Is everyone else alright?” Dean asked looking around.
“We’re fine,” Penny replied.
“Who wants a drink?” Linda asked. “I know I could use one right about now.”
Zoey walked quickly out of the dining room and put her long black dress coat on.
“Mary-Anne where are you going?” Dean asked.
“I need to get some air. I-I can’t handle all of this right now.”
“I’ll come with you,” Dean said.
“No, I wish to be alone. Besides, you’re safer here than with me.” With that she left.
“Dean, she’ll be fine,” Piper said. “She just needs some time.”
Dean nodded and left the room.
“Chris, go check up on her,” Leo instructed.

Chapter five
Zoey was seated under one of the big oak trees in the park. The park was empty and quiet. The air was cold and the only lights that could be seen were those in the windows of the homes that lined the streets. “How did you find me?” she asked not taking her eyes off of the stars.
“You said this was your favorite place to come with Summer and Ronnie,” Chris replied taking a seat next to her on the cold grass.
The two were silent for a while. A while seemed like an eternity to Chris. He didn’t say anything though because he knew that she would talk when she wanted to.
“I’m getting married in less than four days,” she said finally and looked down at the grass. She began to play with it with her fingers.
“Yeah, I know,” Chris said quietly.
Zoey turned to face him, “How am I supposed to marry a man whom I don’t even know? I mean, technically I know him since this is my life but it’s not.”
Chris nodded and kept silent.
“I love him…or at least this girl I’m supposed to be loves him. Anyways, I have this feeling inside of me that believes by marrying him I’m putting his life in danger. What am I supposed to do?”
Chris smiled faintly, “What does your heart tell you to do?”
She looked at him for moment. “To marry him.”
The two were quiet again.
Chris glanced at her. She was so beautiful and it made him jealous of Dean. “I have to tell you something,” he said a bit nervously.
Zoey turned and looked at him curiously. Her brown eyes locked onto his and made him more nervous than ever.
Chris hesitated. “You look good in your fifties wear,” he said quickly.
Zoey smiled, “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself. I like the hair.” She ran her fingers through it quickly.
Chris nodded then rolled his eyes at himself.
****
The sun was shining brightly outside and the air was cool yet warm at the same time. The church pews were filling with the guests and the flowers were being arranged so that they were just right. The sun cast red, blue, green and yellow bits of light around the church as it shined through stained glass windows.
People chatted with their neighbors about this and that. The little kids began to become squirmish and started to run around.
A knock came at the door. “Go away, I’m fine,” Zoey said trying to zip up her dress. It was a plain white dress that had a tank top like top and had short sleeves made of white lace. The dress then flowed out gracefully beginning at her hips. The zipper unfortunately was in the back and proved to be a lot harder to zip then Zoey had thought it would be.
Penny sighed and walked out into the hall.
“Well?” Linda asked impatiently.
“She won’t let me in,” Penny replied.
“What is this?! It’s her wedding day, she’s the bride; she needs to come out of there.” Linda sighed, “That’s it, I’m going to blast that door open.”
“Wait, I’ll see what I can do,” Chris offered.
He knocked on the door.
“Penny I swear, one more knock and I’ll-”
“It’s not Penny, it’s me Chris.”
The opened and Zoey quickly pulled him into the room. “I can’t do this,” she said. “I’m not ready for marriage.” She looked at him. “What? Is there something on my face? Oh my god, I have a zit don’t I?”
Chris shook his head not taking his eyes off of her. “No, nothing’s wrong with you, you look amazing.”
Zoey smiled, “Really?”
Chris nodded. “Need help with that?” he asked noticing her struggling to zip up her dress.
Zoey turned around and lifted her hair up. He noticed that she had tiny freckles on her back. Chris zipped up her dress. “It just doesn’t feel right,” Zoey said and handed him a pearl necklace. “Could you fasten this?”
“Where’d you get these?” he asked as he placed the necklace around her neck.
“They’re my mother’s…er, Mary-Anne’s mother’s that is.”
“Done.”
Zoey dropped her hair which she wore in curls and turned to face him. “Thanks; oh I’m so nervous! I’ve never been this nervous since…never mind.”
“What?” Chris said.
“Since I met Damien. Anyways, thanks again.” She kissed his cheek, her lips like soft against his cheek. “You’re a really great friend, you know that?”
Chris smiled.
“Mary-Anne, come on,” Penny said entering the room. “The sooner you get out there the sooner you’ll be Mrs. Dean Phillips.”
Zoey latched arms with Mary-Anne’s father and the two proceeded down the aisle.
“She looks so pretty,” Phoebe whispered to her sisters.
“Yeah, but doesn’t this feel weird to you, I mean why are we here?” Piper said.
“Shh!” Paige said.
“We are gathered here today to celebrate the joining in union of Dean Phillips and Mary-Anne Kingsley,” the minister began.
“…and do you Mary-Anne Kingsley take Dean Phillips to be your husband, for richer or poorer and in sickness and in health, until death do you part?”
“I do,” Zoey said smiling brightly.
“If there is anyone who objects to this marriage speak now or forever hold you peace. I now pronounce you husband and wife; you may kiss the bride.”
Dean kissed Zoey on the lips passionately. Zoey laughed and kissed him again. “I love you Dean Phillips,” she said.
“I love you too Mary-Anne Phil-” he stopped, his eyes were wide open.
“Dean?” Zoey said.
Dean looked down, a whole was formed in his stomach, and blood stained his white button down shirt and seeped through his black blazer. His blood had also splattered onto Zoey’s chest and neck. Dean fell forward and Zoey caught him.
Linda and Mary-Anne’s parents fought off the demon that had attacked. The demon had sent people flying and had killed several others.
Tears were streaming down Zoey’s face. Blood stained more of her wedding gown. “Dean,” she shook him but he didn’t respond. “Dean, don’t leave me; you can’t leave me here.”
“Mary-Anne, he’ll be back soon,” her mother said. “We have to leave, now.”
Zoey kissed Dean on the lips and closed his eyes.

End of chapter six
At the Halliwell manor, all was quiet. The ladies cried silently on their dates or family members shoulders. No one could believe what had just happened. Why did it happen? Why on this day? Why at all? And Mary-Anne, she was suffering the most, with her beloved dead. The pain that she must be going through, they thought.
Piper entered the room that would end up hers in the future and shut the door behind her. Zoey sat, still in her wedding dress, on the floor next to the bed. Her face was stained in tears and she just stared down at the glass of water in her hand. “Zoey, honey,” Piper said sitting down beside her.
“Piper,” she said and began to cry. Piper held her in her arms. “I need him here, we’re married. Today was supposed to be our day, not evil’s. I hate my life.”
“I know sweetie, I-”
“No, nobody knows what I feel or the pain I’m going through right now. We’re supposed to be together; we’re supposed to have a family together; we’re supposed to die together and not like this.” Zoey picked up her glass of water and threw it against the wall.
Piper put her arms around Zoey again. “We’ll find whoever did this.”
“I wish I were dead,” Zoey said.

Chapter seven
“Mary-Anne, Mary-Anne,” Dean said shaking Zoey. Zoey’s eyes widened. “Mary-Anne, you scared me,” Dean said and hugged her and kissed.
“Dean, oh my gosh, you’re alive!” she kissed him again.
Dean smiled nervously, “You hit your head harder than I thought.” He held her face in his hands and studied her.
“Dean, have told you how much I love you?”
Dean smiled, “How much?”
Zoey smiled and kissed him passionately, “that much and more.”
“Well I have to get going to work. Howard called in and he needs an extra hand at the shop.” He kissed her lips. “I’ll see you later tonight?”
“Of course, I wouldn’t hear of anything else.” Dean kissed her then left.
****
“Ok, what just happened?” Phoebe asked.
“Don’t know, where did everyone go?” Paige asked.
“Time must have rewound,” Leo said looking around.
“Well if we were where we started, why are dressed like we are?”
“Chris has a point. Remember before we had to-”
“Who are you people?” a young woman with short brown hair wearing a pearl necklace demanded.
“Linda are they demons?” another brunet asked.
“No, we’re fellow witches and he’s a white lighter,” Piper said. “Show them Leo.”
Leo orbed.
“A white lighter, what are you doing here?”
Paige smiled nervously, “We’re here for the wedding and we were told that this was the place to come to.”
“Mary-Anne doesn’t live here,” Linda said still looking at them suspiciously. A couple of other ladies entered the room.
“Mother, you didn’t tell me that we were having guests,” Penny said coming down the stairs.
“They’re friends of Mary-Anne’s. This is…”
“I’m Piper, and these are my sisters Phoebe and Paige. And this is Chris and Leo.”
The door bell rang. “I’ll get that,” Linda said.
Paige turned to Piper, “Hmm…I wonder who that could be.”
“Mary-Anne, what brings you here so early? I wasn’t expecting you and Dean until a little later.” Linda gave Zoey a hug.
“Just thought I’d stop by; I’m afraid some friends of mine got the wrong address.”
“Oh yes, they’re in the living room.”
Again Zoey was caught in the middle of having to answer questions from the ambush of ladies in the room.
“Marry-Anne, how are you holding up?” Penny asked.
Zoey smiled faintly, “I’m a bit exhausted from all the preparation, but um, I would like a word with my guests in private if that’s alright?”
The ladies exited the room and Zoey let out a sigh. She clapped her hands together, “Alright people. The demon will attack at desert,” Zoey reminded.
“But if we vanquish it won’t that change everything?” Paige asked.
“I don’t care,” Zoey said firmly.
“Zoey changing the timeline like this will cause consequences, believe me, I know,” Chris said.
“This isn’t something any of you get to vote on,” Zoey said. “You’re opinions don’t count when it comes to my husband and me.”
“Don’t you mean Mary-Anne’s husband?” Phoebe corrected.
“No; now the time has be rewound meaning there is a reason why we are back where we started. We’re vanquishing the demon. End of story.”
“Zoey honey-”
“I’m not going to lose him again, I can’t go through that twice,” Zoey said quietly.
****
The demon sent a fire ball heading towards Dean; Zoey deflected it and caused it to be sent back at the demon. It screamed and burst into flames. Zoey turned to everyone, “So, who wants more coffee?”
Piper entered the kitchen. “Zoey-”
“Piper I know that this could change things but Dean isn’t meant to die, that’s why time rewound. That’s why we came back here, to this time.”
“Yes but it’s important to not jump the gun too much; you know what I mean?”
“I know but I can’t imagine life without him.”
End of chapter seven

Chapter eight
Chris entered the room, “What’s so urgent?”
“I need your help,” Zoey said pacing the room in her wedding dress. “I’m freaking out here. I-I don’t remember what happened.”
“What are you talking about?" Chris asked as he zipped up her dress.
“Did you see the demon appear?” Zoey asked turning and looking at him eagerly.
Chris placed his hands on her arms, “Leo and the others got it covered, you just go on with the wedding.”
Zoey smiled nervously, “Ok, I feel like I’m going to faint.”
Chris smiled, “You’ll be fine.”
“I hope so.” She was about to leave the room but turned and walked up to him. She kissed his cheek.
“What was that for?”
“I’m supposed to do everything that I did before, right? Plus, it’s my way of saying thanks for everything.”
Tears were streaming down Zoey’s face. Blood stained her gown and her hands. “Dean.” She closed his eyes and kissed his lips.
******
“Mary-Anne you’re awfully quiet,” Dean said quietly to her. They were all gathered at the dinner table.
“Is everything alright?” Penny asked.
Everyone looked at Zoey. She was pale and didn’t look so well. The demon attacked and once again Zoey deflected the fireball. The demon combusted.
“How did you know it would throw the fire ball your way?” Linda asked.
“Instinct,” Zoey replied shortly. “Dean, I have to get out of here for a while; I need some air.”
“I’ll come with you,” Dean said getting up.
Zoey glanced at the others. Leo tapped the side of his nose as if to tell her that she must not take up his offer. “Actually, I kind of need to be alone; only for a little while.”
Dean nodded and kissed her lips gently. Tears streamed down her cheeks. Zoey pulled away and left.
“He’s not in the book of shadows,” Paige said and closed the book.
“What are we supposed to do?” Phoebe asked.
“We have to vanquish him before him before he gets the chance to attack,” Piper said.
“Yes, but how do we do that? Everything we tried last time didn’t work,” Paige said.
“We should secure the perimeter and figure out some type of distraction,” Piper said. “We’ll need to concoct a vanquishing potion also.”
“I’ll start on the potion,” Phoebe volunteered.
“And I’ll gather some barrier crystals,” Paige offered.

Chapter nine
Chris took a seat beside Zoey on the grass under the oak tree. Zoey was crying; she had done so since she stepped foot outside the Halliwell manor. Chris put arm around her and she cried on his shoulder.
“Shh, we’ll fight this,” he said gently as he stroked her hair.
“How am I supposed to go through this again?” she asked through the tears.
“Zoey, you have to do your best,” he said quietly.
“It hurts to know what’s coming. I don’t think I can do this. I just don’t know how to do this.”
“You’ll find a way.”
****
“The crystals are all set in place,” Phoebe whispered a she approached Piper and Leo.
“Where’s Paige?” Leo asked.
“She went to check up on the groom and Chris went to check up on the bride.”
Zoey was brushing her hair and staring off into space when a knock came at the door. Chris entered the room. “Zoey, it’s time to go.”
Zoey put down the brush and got up. She looked at Chris. This wasn’t Zoey. The girl before him was someone entirely different.
“How is she?” Leo asked as Chris took a seat beside the others.
“I don’t know. She’s kind of creepy. She hasn’t said a word all morning and she doesn’t seem like the Zoey I know.”
“I just hope this works,” Piper said. “She doesn’t deserve to relive this over again.”
“And do you Mary-Anne Kingsley take Dean Phillips to be your husband, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?”
Zoey smiled, “I do.”
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You-”
Suddenly an alarm went off. The demon had appeared. Zoey grabbed Dean and ran for cover.
“Now!” Paige yelled.
The three sisters threw viles of potion at the demon.
“Quick, cast a spell!” Phoebe ordered Linda.
“Rid this evil, take its life, and let him feel all our strife!”
The demon yelled and combusted.
“That was easy,” Phoebe said.
“Too easy,” Paige said as she glanced around cautiously.
Another demon appeared followed by another. The two threw fireballs towards the sisters and Leo telepathically sent them back. Penny sent one of the demons into the wall. As they fought off the demons another demon attacked Zoey and Dean.
He sent an energy ball at Dean but Zoey pushed Dean out of the way. The ball grazed her shoulder. He sent another energy ball at them but she deflected it. He shimmered and appeared behind her and jabbed an atheme into her back.
Penny saw this and flung him across the room with a motion arm. Linda said some magic words and the demons exploded.
“Mary-Anne! Oh my God, Mary-Anne!” Dean said.
Leo rushed over to Zoey and placed his hands over her. A golden light appeared and her wounds healed.
“Mary-Anne, I-I thought-” Dean kissed her lips and her cheeks, chin and nose.
“We did it,” she said with a big smile. “We finally got married.”
The priest came up to them. “Where was I? Oh yes, you may now kiss the bride.”
Dean kissed her passionately.

Chapter ten
The music loud in P3 and everyone there was having a good time. Piper was helping out at the bar and Phoebe and Paige were chatting with her.
“It’s been one hell of a couple of days,” Paige commented. “Or would it be just one day?”
Phoebe laughed. “You’re telling me; it was liked the movie Groundhog Day.”
“Yeah except with out the humor,” Piper said.
Chris served another customer near to them.
“What about you Chris? Glad to be back in modern times?”
He smiled, “I’ll be glad if I don’t go further back into time than I already have.”
Paige laughed.
“Hey everyone,” Zoey said as she approached them.
“How have you been?” Phoebe asked.
“Aside from losing my husband twice, waking up in the fifties, being stabbed…never better.”
“Well at least your past life didn’t try to kill you,” Paige pointed out.
Zoey sighed, “Yeah but I did some research and found out that Mary-Anne died six months later which really sucks. She and Dean had it made. But I did learn that life is way too short to worry about if the next guy that walks into my life is a demon.”
“Meaning?” Phoebe asked.
Zoey smiled slyly, “Meaning that I’ve got a date tonight.”
A young man with black hair and brown eyes approached them. “Zoey, ready to get going?”
“Yeah; see you guys later. I’ll be home late; we’re going to a movie.”
“Have fun,” Piper said with smile.
