Tales of Chris: Embrace the Empath

As the Halliwells and Chris sat around the table celebrated one month without vaniqusing a seeing a demon they all felt reliefed and grand.
"You the other day I almost wanted to vanquish a demon." Phoebe said gupling down some lemonade.
"Don't jinx us!" Piper said with a smile, feeding Wyatt some Potato Salad.

As the night wore on they had a quiet evening and the girls stayed up ate chocolate ice cream and watch Harry Potter.
"YOu know the magic school almost looks like that." paige said
"Yeah, I wonder if JK Rowling is a witch." Phoebe said.
Then above in the attic they heard someone fall, and wailed with pain.....

As Phoebe, Paige, and Piper enter the room, they say Chris rolled up into a ball on the floor, full of pain.
"AHHHH!" Phoebe screams, As She runs from the room.
"Chris?" Piper said, "Whats wrong honey?"
"Vocies, I can't stop the voices." Chris said
"What voices?" Paige said
"IN MY HEAD, THEY WON'T SHUT UP!" Chris yelled.
Then Chris gave another yell, and the entire attic began to shake violently the book fell from the pestol, and books and lamps fell to floor, breaking.
"YOUR NEVER GOOD ENOUGH," Chris heard in his head, "YOU NEVER LET ME LIVE MY LIFE.....HELP ME....STOP IT STOP IT.....I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU.....SHUT UP.....WE'RE OVER....GO AWAY NOW!"
"Paige orbed him out of here." Piper said
Paige ran to Chris, but as Paige was a foot from Chris, Chris threw her from him, and sent her flying into the wall. Piper suddenly ran to help getting him up, and sitting with him and huggin him from the back, and rocking him back and forth.
"It's going to be okay." PIper said.
Chris now in tears. "Stop the Voices."
Phoebe peared around the cornoer and looked at the attic, it had stop shaking, but everything was the floor, and Paige was coming out, and PIper and Chris were in the Room.
PHoebe walked in the Room, Surpressing evey emoition she could and took Chris' hand.
"Look at me." Phoebe said. "Who did this too you?"
"It was-ARGHHHHHH!" Chris said
Phoebe stepped back, and fell to ground, trying to surpress the wave of emotion.
Paige acting quickly, called for phoebe. And Phoebe orbed to her.
"Are You okay?" Paige said
"No. I had a Premonition. Chris took the Power from on his charges, but his charge is dead now."
"Oh." Paige said
"And thats not all I saw. Chris is stronger then we think."
"What?"
"He in the future, Astarl Projected, and has Thought Projection."
"What-how did that relate to him and his charge or him being an empath for that matter?"
"I dunno, but I saw it....and if we don't save him fast, he's going to die."

Soon the house began to shake and as Paige looked outside and the signs in the street where shaking too....

As the night went on, Chris was isolated to the Attic with Piper. Phoebe and Paige nearly got used to the shaking, when Phoebe thought of an idea.
"What if we cast a spell for him to surpress all the emoitions?"
"Surrpress the emotional baggage of the City of San Francisco? Thats a long shot." Paige said.
Phoebe was stumped and turned on the news, and first thing that popped up was an earthquake report.
"A 4.9 Earthquake has struck the Bay of Sna Francisco." Said the Reporter, "This is unusual activity for an earthquake cause it has had 7 aftershocks in the past 10 minutes."
"oh my god." Phoebe said dropping the remote.
Then CHris gave another huge scream, and the house began to shake very violently and cracks were now appearing the walls.
"OH HERE'S ANOTHER ONE!" The reporter scarmed, falling off her chair. As Paige looked outside, people were running from their houses and a house down the block fell to the ground.
"PHOEBE PAIGE!" Piper yelled.

"He has my power and I want it back!" Yelled a Demon.
"You're going to have get through me!" Piper said gesturing.
But he didn't even strach him. The demon threw Piper across the room, and four other demons shimmered in. Grabbing Chris.
"NO!" he said.
"PAIGE!" Piper yelled, but before she could call Phoebe's name, they shimmered out and the shaking stopped.....

As Paige, Piper, and Phoebe quickly ran from the attic to downstairs to Wyatt, they were all wondering why the earth had stopped shaking.
"He must be in the underworld." Paige said, "unless he's-"
"LEO!" Piper yelled.
Wyatt looked up and pointed his finger, and then pointed infront of Piper, and in orbs formed Leo.
"What the?" Leo said standing in a gold robe.
"did Wyatt so that?" Phoebe said.
"Leo, Chris is an empath." Phoebe blurted out.
"what? how?" Leo said, still a bit confused.
"His charge had the power, then he took the power from him-" Phoebe began
"then a demon shimmered into the attic and said the Power was his-" Piper stated
"And before we could get up tp Piper, Chris was already gone-" paige said
"I was nearly knocked out"
"And the ground had stopped shaking."
Leo who had bearly followed collected the notes into his head.
"Chris has no charges." He finally stated.
"WHAT?!" Phoebe said
"I first gave chris a charge, but then they could keep away from each other, so I haven't given him one."
"Another Elder or Whitelighter could have." Piper said, tring to not to meet Leo's eye.
"Maybe." Leo said.
"Why don't you go back up their and find out, and gingle us back." Piper sad, as Leo orbed out.
"Gingle? You want him to Gingle now?" Phoebe said
"Well he has to tell us one way."
The girls left the Foyer and went up to the Book.

"SPEAK WITCH!" A Demon yelled
"Careful he's the son of a Charmed one, they could tear us the shreads." Said a Warlock
"I don't care. As long as we have him, he's ours for the beating, and maybe eating."
"Their will be no eating." Said a voice.
Out of the shadows came an old evil witch, someone fimlair.
"CRONE!" the demon yelled, "The Charmed Ones killed you."
"Yes," She began, "I know. Only a part of me. I reformed from the ashes fomr which they left. I was charmed by a prophecy long ago that i will have 2 lives, instead of one. Now you have captured, a charmed ones child?"
"Not a child, a man."
"What?" She repiled
"He is apeartly from the future." Said the Warlock.
The Crone looked past the Demon and Warlock and saw chris hanging on a dirt wall. His hands, neck, weist, and legs chained to the dir wall, hanging their helpless and beaten badly. The Crone touched his cheek, and a she had a vision, of the Empathy power he beholds from the woman he took it from.
"This no ordinary witch. He holds the power of Empathy. He's is very strong."
"What do we do with him?" the Demon asked
"Nothing for now, leave him here. Actually, leave me."
The Demon and Warlock left, and Chris put his head up a little bit and was shocked to see the Crone.
"Pity." She said.
"i've vanquished worse then you." Chris repiled
"i know."
Chris moaned tring to orb, but he couldn't. The crone notcied four lanterns above chris, which were all glowing white.
"Your powers have been drained from your body, and are trapped above your head in four lanterns. I would have picked Orb's myself, but those will do fine. Telekinesis, Astaral Projection, Orbing, and Thought Projection." She said looking at the lanterns, "Your a power witch. But the Empathy power seems not to be drained from you intresting, almost as like it wasn't yours."
"You're going to die and I am going to take great pride in doing it to you." Chris said
"Well, your in not a good position to fight me."
The Crone walked to the kettle in the middle of the room, and picked up a hot iron, rod, which was red hot on the end.
"Now tell me, what happens in the Future?"

"I'll never tell you." Chris said.
"So be it." the Crone repiled. She waved her hand, and his shirt came flying off. And she placed the hot rod on his rib cage, and he screamed that filled the catacombs of the Under World.


"hows the scraing coming along?" Piper asked Paige.
"Slow, i can't find him anywhere?"
"Keep tring."
But as Piper was thinking of a Summoning Spell, she heard a faint scream in her head, that belonged to Chris.....

"Did you hear that?" Piper said looking at Phoebe
"Hear what?"
"I swear I thought I heard Chris scream."
"Where?"
"I have no idea....their it is again."
Phoebe used her empathy power and as she used it a premonition came over her.

...in the catacombs, the Crone using the hot iron rod on Chris. "Tell me the future." She said waving and the rod then using it on Chris.....

"Oh My God." Phoebe said
"Where, where is chris?"
"With the Crone."
"The Crone?"
"PAIGE COME HERE NOW!" Piper yelled.
"Yeah what do you want?" Paige said walking in.
"Take Phoebe's hand." Piper said as all three joined in hands. "Take us to where he be, take me now, and let Chris be."
White swirling lights appeared around them, and then it transported them straight to Chris.
"Hey Bit**" Piper yelled, "Get away from my son." Piper gestured and blew the iron rod away from her hand.
"I'll be back." She said transporting out.
They ran to chris who was hanging on the wall.
"Stand back." As Piper blew up all the cuffs that confined chris to the wall, and chris fell to the Ground.
"Paige, quick orb us home."
They orbed out quickly and Crone reappeard in the Catacombs.
"@#%$!" She yelled, but then her eyes looked at the four laterns above. "Maybe not all is lost."

"powers of the witches raise coarse unseen across the skies come to me i call you near, to come me and settle here."

As the crone went to touch the first latern, the lights inside floated out.
"NO!" She screamed as she looked at the other three, they do empied. She transported to her cave nad began mubbling to her self. She took the head of man that looked like Chris and put into a cauldron.
"Hey!" yelled a voice. The Crone turned around and Piper stood their.
"Come for your revenge?" she said
"No one touches my son." Piper yelled, as she gestured it hit the Crone, but she just back away and laughed.
"Your too weak." She said.
"I may be, but three of aren't." Piper said, as out of the dark tunnels two more Piper's walked out.
The Crone's face went white.
"NOW!" Piper yelled
As the crone transported out, the three Pipers gestured and blew her up, but she vanquished in color light.
"Good Job." Said Piper, as the other two smilied and faded from room.
"Return me now, from once I came, to help me heal my son's pain."
Piper was tranported from the catacomb to the manor, where Paige and Phoebe looked at Chris hopelessly on the couch knocked out cold.....

As the Night went on, Phoebe and Paige feel alseep next to chris, Phoebe into the Chair and Paige on the other couch.
Paige woked up, and smelled Bacon cooking.
"Umm...something smells mighty fine!"
"Mighty Fine?" PHoebe said with a smile.
They looked at Chris, who was covered in a blanket and still in the same position as he was when they feel the sleep.
"Someone loves him more then us." Paige said.
"Come on, I am hungry." Phoebe said walking into the Kitchen.

Piper was standing behind 3 pans, one with sizzling Bacon, one with hashbrowns, and one with Eggs.
"Good Morning!" Piper said with a smile.
"Umm...good morning!" Phoebe said huggind Piper from the behind.
"Find the Crone?" Paige said.
"No, I vanquished about 60 demons and none of them told me anything, so I gave up and came home about an hour ago. And When I saw you three just laying their, I didn't want to wake ya."
"What time is it?" Phoebe asked.
"9:30." Paige said looking at her watch.
"OMG WORK!"
"Phoebe it's Saturday."
"Oh yeah, Right." Phoebe said feeling stupid.
"SO what you doing this weekend." Paige asked.
"I am going to the Zoo with Wyatt and Darryl and Shelia and then I thought I go out with Laura, Kim, and Erin."
"I am glad your hanging out with your Girlfriends now." Paige said with a smile.
"Me too. I am going to have a normal weekend, and I just got a hefty check from the club, paid off all the bills."
"thank you." Phoebe said
"Your Welcome." Piper said, "I saved your butt this month from paying the bills, but you handle next month."
"Promise."
"Want me to go do the grocery shopping today?" Paige asked
"Yes." Piper said with a smile.
"Man, i have to clean!" Phoebe said moaning, Piper smiled at her.
Piper put the eggs on to four different plates, and dived the bacon and hasbrowns.
As Piper heard Wyatt wake up over the baby speaker, she started to get up to go get him, but Paige insisted on going, and went. And she orbed back down into the kitchen with him in her arms.
"Oh, one other thing, no Magic this weekend." Piper said.
"fine." paige said.
"Good Morning!" Piper said taking Wyatt, and giving him a bottle with Milk.
They ate with hearts content, While halfway through the meal, Chris walked in with Pajama's on.
"Good Morning Sweetie." Piper said, giving Chris a kiss.
"Morning." Chris said
"sit down, have some breakfast."
"Thanks." Chris repiled.
"So what are you doing this weekend Chris?" Piper asked now feeding Wyatt a piece of Bacon.
"Demon-"
"no you will not!" Piper said
"What, why?" chris asked putting bacon into his mouth.
"This is everyone's weekend off." Piper said, "if you have nothing else planned, you are coming to the Zoo with Wyatt and I"
"Sounds fun."
They finsihed up Breakfast Phoebe and Chris did the dishes and Piper, Chris, and Wyatt left for the Zoo and Paige grabbed the grocery list and left for the store.

As Piper, Chris, and Wyatt walked around the Zoo, Wyatt seemed very intrested in the Lions. Darryl, Shelia, and their son, Jason, all seemed to like chris. Piper told them who he was Shelia found it quite funny.
Piper found it quite cute when she saw Chris holding Wyatt up on the railing looking at the Lions. Wyatt looked and pointed at many things in the Zoon, and Chris told Wyatt what they were.
Piper was taking many pictures of this, but when Chris looked behind him self he saw Piper doing this and blushed. Jason found a strong liking in Chris. He kinda found him to be some what of an older brother.

Once the day was over, Piper, Chris, and Wyatt waved good-bye to Darryl, Shelia, and Jason. And then Piper got off the phone and said to chris.
"Do you drive in the future?"
"Yes." Chris repiled almost laughing.
"Good cause your driving home, cause I got calls to make and make up to put on."
Chris finally laughed and picked up Wyatt and put him the car. And Chris drove home.

"I hate cleaning!" Phoebe moaned putting the garbage bag into the can.
"Me too." Paige said, "i just hope they like these tacos i made for them."
"Me too. I've never been brave enough to try a recipe out of a womans magazine before."
"HELLO!?" yelled Piper
"How was your day?" Paige and Phoebe said walking to the front door.
"Good. Wow this place is really cleaned up. Who did you pay?"
Phoebe frowned at this.
"I am only joking." Piper said smiling. "Anyway I am going out with Laura, Kim, and Erin."
"Cool."
"yeah, i am going to go change."
As Piper went up and change, the four of them went to the table as Paige put out the palte of tacos.
"Oh that looks so good." Chris said
Paige smacked Phoebe on the arm.
"OUCH! Okay, your right."
Piper cam down the stairs, Phoebe laughed cause she has never seen a pregant woman dressed to kill. "Where the hell are you going?"
"Clubing and shopping." Piper said, she grabbed a taco and took a bite. "Wow these are good. Well bye!" As a car honked out side.
Chris told PHoebe and Paige about Wyatt at the zoo and the entire day. Phoebe and Paige felt Chris more of a nephew then ever. They felt trust and love.

ONce dinner was over, Chris insisted that he cleaned up, and as he took their plates and Wyatt's PB&J half eaten sandwich, he walked into the kitchen.
"You know once you get know someone you-" Paige was cut off with the crash of plates in the kitchen.
Phoebe quickly ran into the kitchen and Chris was on the ground, knocked out cold.
"Chris?" Phoebe said trying to wake him, but has she touched him she had a powerful premonition.

...people yelling, crying, bridges blowing up, bulidings falling to the ground, and then bianca, "Will you marry me." then a man standing, "you know me better then that wyatt." and then Wyatt threw a energy ball.....

Phoebe gasphed for air, and Paige came running with Wyatt.
"What whats wrong?"
"I saw him, you!" Phoebe said looking at Wyatt.
"What?" Paige said
"When i touched Chris, I had a premonition, Wyatt, and him destroying all of San Francisco, all of the everything. The world."
Paige looked at Wyatt. "What?"
"Yeah. What chris said about Wyatt being evil, he's nothing that we have encountered before." Phoebe said. As Paige looked at her, Phoebe was white as a ghost, she was sacred beyond anything before.

Wyatt smiled and his eyes flammed and Paige screamed nearly dropping him. Wyatt formed a fireball in his hand and threw it at Phoebe.
Phoebe looked around and she was in the kitchen as before. Paige holding Wyatt, Phoebe got up and screamed.

"What?" Paige said
She looked at Wyatt who gave a innocent stare back. Phoebe calmed herself. And then looked at Chris who sitll laying the ground, but then he screamed and shot up off the floor and his was holding his head, his empath power was back...

Paige acting quickly used her power, and moved orbed Chris into the basement, and then Orbed back up to the kitchen and Phoebe stood their holding Wyatt.
"What we are going to do with Wyatt." Paige said
"We have to get someone." PHoebe said
"I have a great idea." Paige said.
Paige closed her eyes and put both of her hands above her head like she was holding something, then orbs came from the celing and then formed in front and Leo appeared.
"Here take Wyatt." Paige said as Phoebe handed him to Leo and Paige used her hands once more, and Leo orbed back up.
Phoebe stood dimwitted. "Okay, how did you do that? Do you have a new power?"
"We'll get back to it later. First we have to save Chris. We have find this charge in which he gave it too."

"how dare they try and vanquish me." Said the Crone.
"Didn't they?" Said a Demon
"No, but they destroyed my transportation power anyway. A small price to pay for the empath. He holds great secrets, and the burn i left on his chest is not an ordinary burn it's one that i can use to my advantage."
"How so?"
The Crone took the iron rod she used on Chris and placed it on the demon, and bruned his arm. The demon screamed and formed an energy ball in his hand.
"you wanted to know?"
The Crone held a potion in her hand, and then a drop of it onto the iron rod and then burn on demon flared up worst then before and he screamed in pain.

Chris yelled in pain, and hugged his chest, he lifted his shirt and the burn glowed red, and blood feel from the burn, Chris screamed, and Paige came down the stairs and tears were now streaming down his face.

the demon yelled and blew up in a fireball.
"I am glad he's gone." The crone said, "he was annoying."
The Crone went to her pot and added some herbs and spices. If that witch thinks that was pain, he has no idea of what he's about to endure...she said with a smile, as she put more potion onto the iron rod and said, "Tell me about the future."

As morning rolled up, chris amazingly made it through the night, he got some sleep, but he was up with the rest of the city, and for his bad luck it was Graduation Day for the departing classes in San Francisco. Chris was unsure if he was happy or sad.
At points where emoitions in the city was high "I am going to miss you so much....will make it?....i can't live without you... don't leave....don't make me move on!...i wanna be a freshman again!" Chris cried carrying their emoitions, then being happy "I am so gald I am moving on....UCLA here I come....Full Scholarship to Penn State Baby!....Will You Marry Me after Graduation?.....YAY!"

"He's an Empath Now." Leo said to the Elders, "he is mentally unstable and he needs to be destroyed."
"We agree, tell the girls to be aware." Said the council, "We will think of a plan. Keep an eye on him, and make sure he endures lots of pain.
"I will Leo" repiled with a smile....

As the day went on Chris got more and more weak, as the voices in his head got stronger. He tried moving them put of this mind with his telekinesis, but it didn't work.

"The Bishop!" Phoebe said
"huh?" Piper repiled as she was puring herself a cup of coffee
"Remember 3 years ago when we helped the Empath and then the power tranfer-"
"Yeah I remember."
"If we can find the Bishop he can help Chris. He's pur only hope."
"Let's do it." Piper said, "oh by the way, where's Paige?"

"Paige is out getting some herbs for a back up plan for a potion."
"what Potion?"
"A Power stripping potion. It's the only true way to help chris."
"yeah it is."

As Piper finished her Coffee she went down into the basement and it was an eerie scene for this brought back many memories of where Prue once was, for Chris sat in the same spot.

Chris was hearled up into a ball his hands holding his head, sobbing into his chest, as Piper stepped off the last step he yelled at Piper.
"GO AWAY!"
"Chris, honey I am here to help you."
"You can't help me, don't come any further, your headache hurts."
Chris lifted his head and Piper saq his face which was red, his eyes were swollen and he had black circles around his eyes. And his hair was all over the place, and the burn in which the Crone had inflicted on him burned right through his shirt.

"Alright chris I am going to help Phoebe, alright hang in their."

Piper left from the basement hearing the sobs of Chris....

The door knocks.
"I'll get it." Phoebe said, "Father Thomas?" she said opening the door.
"Phoebe, my child are you?" Father Thomas said
"I am fine thank you. THanks for coming on such short notice."
"Is he here?" Piper yelled from the kitchen then walking out.
"Piper my dear!" Father Thomas praised.
"Hi!" Piper said with a smile, "I would love to greet, but their not much time."

The three of them walk into the kitchen. Where Paige stands patienly by the door.
"Oh is that him?" Paige asked.
"Yes."
"Alright you girls wait up here, and keep a look out, I'll try and save the brave soul."
"OKay." Phoebe said
"Father, please save him, please." PIper said taking his hand.
"I will try and save him." Father said
Father thomas entered the basement and closed the door. And then turned into the Crone.

"Can't stand those witches." She said quietly to herself.
A shock of eletricty came from her hand and the door was sealed shut.

The Crone walked down the stairs, and cruled up chris in the cornor was sitting their.
"Don't come any closer, please!" Chris pleaded.
"I haven't come to hurt you, I've come to save you." The Crone said leaning on her staff.
"GO AWA-AHH!" Chris screamed in pain, as the crone pointed her finger at Chris and burn she left their was burning his skin.

"Are you sure we're doing the right thing?" Phoebe said
"It helped Prue didn't it?" Paige asked
"yeah, but she could only surpress it, and Chris doesn't have Asartal Projection." Piper said
"We could give it to him." Phoebe said
"Huh?" Piper repiled
"Enhance his powers, to the point where he has them." Phoebe said
"Powers don't work like that, why did you even think that?" Piper said
"Sorry." Phoebe said.
Piper shook her head and walked around the kitchen.
"Honey what are you doing?" Paige asked
"I am trying to keep my self calm, cause my son is being torn apart." Piper said
Phoebe gave Piper a hug and Paige joined in. Then they heard Chris' screaming and then looked at the door.

Chris was now sweating and crying.
"Well you'll be dead in a half an hour anyways, so I think I could just sit here and wait for it." The Crone said, then turning into Father Thomas.
Fatrher THomas walked up the stairs and unsealed the door and locked it.
"PHoebe Chris is complaining about your headache, sorry my child." He said peeping through the door.
"Oh, I am sorry."
"Would it be best if you two went out for an hour or something while I try and help him?" Father Thomas asked.

Five minutes later the Charmed Ones drove off and the Crone was alone with Chris.
