The dreadful school day was finally about to end in three seconds...RING!!! Another school year was over.
Her first year of high school went by pretty smoothly. Writing the sports column for the Baker High Bullitin was a great acheivement. Next step, editor of BHB!
The oldest was psyched because he only had one year left. His summer plans were to play football with his friends and scoop out the chicks. What more could a guy ask for?
The middle child was glad to be out of the hell-hole. Another year, another summer. Most likely, he would end up hanging out with his sister for two and a half months.
Chris walked out of his last class, towards Peyton's. They met halfway. "Hey," he said to her.
"Put a little more enthusiasm into it, Chris!" she replied, sarcastically.
They walked to Chris', who just turned sixteen a month ago, car. Peyton sat, shot-gun, and turned on the radio.
Wyatt met his friends outside, and they talked/flirted with the girls walking home. Once some girls actually stayed longer, they all walked to the nearest teen hang out, and hung out.
Once the kids got home, they put away their bags, and headed for the kitchen. They saw a not from Piper, on the fridge:
Club needs me. Dad's with charges. Have fun, and don't get into trouble.
"Go figure," Chris stated, sarcastically.
"What?" Peyton asked.
"He's with charges. We're never important enough!"
"Chris, that's not true!" she stated, defendingly.
"Who? Dad?" came a voice from behind them.
"You two don't know what you're talking about!" she yelled, running upstairs to her room.
Chris yelled after her, "That's called DENIAL!"
