Sequel to Deck the Halliwells
Jason had a Christmas party that everyone was invited to. He proposed marriage to Phoebe and she accepted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was just barely past midnight on New Year ’s Day. Phoebe and Jason just got back form a new years party. They were making out as they approached the house. Phoebe was groping all over Jason and he felt the same. The approached the door Jason pulled out his key while Phoebe grabbed his butt. He then discovered the door was already unlocked. That didn’t bother him one bit. He was only thinking about getting lucky with Phoebe tonight. So then he opened the door.
He flicked on the lights to the living room. His jaw dropped as he saw his coffee table shattered in to thousands of shards of glass. Tiny white feathers blanketed the floor. The upholstery on ever chair was all ripped out. His TV screen was smashed. The chandelier that used to hang from the ceiling now rested on the floor. In huge lettering, the word die was written across his once pristine walls in blood red paint.
“Oh my god!” Phoebe said.
Phoebe called Darryl. Jason walked through his house seeing similar things in every room of the house. Darryl went to the house and saw what a mess everything was. Darryl asked Jason to put together a grudge list for the police.
The blond walked through Phoebe’s work place, turning the heads of every male who happened to work there. She confidently walked managed to show off all her curves in all the right ways. She flung her long blond hair back sensuously. She had the body of a super model. She walked into Jason’s office. Jason looked up and his jaw dropped. “I am here to make an offer,” she said.
“Oh yes! I mean please sit down,” Jason corrected himself. She sat down and crossed her legs.
She smiled seductively at Jason. “Tell me, would you have any interest in selling the Bay Mirror?” the woman asked.
Jason was admiring her perfectly shapely legs. “I ahh, what?” Jason said.
Phoebe walked into his office. “This is ahh,” Jason said.
Your fiancée Phoebe, yeah I know,” the blond said. “Now about my offer, let’s discuss it over lunch?”
“What offer,” Jason looked at Phoebe trying to hide his lusty feelings for this new stranger. Phoebe glanced at him angrily. “If you will excuse us,” Jason stepped out side the office with Phoebe. The blond saw Jason’s grudge list for the police. She waved her hand over the list and the list changed. She added a lot of new names but only removed one name for the original list.
Jason and Phoebe got out side the door. “Look Phoebe, I am totally committed to us,” he said.
“I know that Jason, but still, you can’t tell me you are not attracted to her,” Phoebe said.
“Oh please that bimbo, next to you, she can get herself a milk bone!” Jason said.
“Who are you kidding Jason? She looks like a super model,” Phoebe said.
“Don’t act like the jealous wife already,” Jason said. “I would never cheat on you!”
“Yeah, yeah!” Phoebe looked again at the blond and realized she was the same one who shimmered into her kitchen and nailed that guy who demanded to know where Chris is. “All the same, if you are going to lunch with her, I am coming too,” she informed Jason.
They returned to Jason’s office. “Listen, I got a call on my cell,” the blond said. We will have to do lunch another time.
“Sure you did,” Phoebe darted coldly at the blond. Phoebe concentrated trying to pick up some form of emotion from her but alas, she was getting nothing.
The blond walked out and Phoebe followed. Phoebe got into the elevator with the blond. “I am on to you! Stay away from Jason,” Phoebe said.
“I don’t have the slightest idea what you are taking about!” the woman said. “Congratulations on your engagement!” She gave a slight wave of the hand and Phoebe was suddenly hit be a flash of claustrophobia. She felt the walls caving in and the elevator falling too fast as if the cables had been cut. Phoebe screamed and then realized the blond had disappeared.
Jason decided to take Phoebe out for lunch, but he dropped his grudge list off at the police first.

Latter that evening, Phoebe and Piper were going over bridal magazines trying to pick out the perfect wedding dress for Phoebe. Phoebe still wanted to go with traditional white. Then there was a ring at the door. Phoebe answered it. “Hi Darryl,” She said as she opened the door smiling. “Just picking out my wedding dress, what do you think, this one, showed a picture of a short and low cut dress with a bridal train and lots of lace.”
“That would look great on you, but this is not a social call,” Darryl declared.
“I am just so excited about my wedding,” Phoebe said.
“There may not be a wedding,” Darryl said.
“No wedding? What?” Phoebe said.
“I don’t know how to break this to you Phoebe,” Darryl said.
“What? Is Jason dead?” Phoebe started to worry.
“No, no, not at all,” Darryl said. Phoebe sighed with relief. “But we got Jason’s grudge list.”
“And,” Phoebe waited impatiently.
“You know those rip the heart out murders I have been talking to you about?” Darryl began.
“Yeah!” Phoebe said. She already didn’t like what she was hearing.
“Well, it seems every victim is on his grudge list,” Darryl said.
“What!!” Phoebe exclaimed.
“Phoebe this is almost as good as a signed confession,” Darryl continued.
“You think Jason killed all those people,” Phoebe said. “No, I won’t believe that!”
“Look, Phoebe, until we got this list from Jason, none of these victims had anything in common,” Darryl exclaimed. Darryl handed her the list. “Miss Daisy Potter worked at flower shop. Mr. Clad Chang owned a martial arts school. The list goes on and on.”
Just as Phoebe grabbed Darryl’s list, she started to get a premonition. She saw a dark cloud surround a man most likely in his late 20s. Claws seeming came out of nowhere running down his face. Skin ripped as blood streamed down. He let out one final scream before his heart was torn out. Phoebe gasped as she could feel this man’s Pain.
“Oh my god,” Phoebe screamed.
“Phoebe, what is it?” Darryl asked.
“Unless Jason is a demon, it definitely wasn’t him,” Phoebe said.
“I figured as much,” Phoebe stated.
“Oh and here is another good one.” He turned to page three and pointed out the name Cole Turner, district attorney. “You might want to ask him about that!”
“Oh believe me, I will,” Phoebe declared. “Cole is behind this. He wants to mess up my wedding! But first, Chris,” Chris orbed in. “We have an innocent to save and a demon to vanquish,” Phoebe informed Chris.

Down in the underworld, the blond was looking over a copy of Jason’s grudge list. “So thoughtful of Jason to give us a list of targets,” the blond said.
“Won’t that get Jason arrested,” the demon said.
“Perhaps,” the blond said.
“That will screw up the wedding plans. I thought you wanted them to get married,” the demon answered.
The blond glared at him. “Don’t you see you fool, they will over-coming these little nuisances, become stranger as a couple,” the blond said. “Just making it all the worst for what happens next!” They both laughed manically.

Phoebe and Chris arrived at the home of Scott Parker, one of the still living victims on Jason’s list. Chris looked around this apartment. “Oh my god,” Chris said.
“What is it,” Phoebe said.
“Nothing,” Chris responded. A young girl who could not have been more then five walked in on them. Chris smiled at her. “Hi Leanne, is your dad home?”
“He is out on the porch,” Leanne said. Phoebe looked weirdly at Chris. “Mom!” Leanne yelled.
A woman in her early thirties appeared; wearing a loose fitting robe joined them in the kitchen. “Phoebe!” she exclaimed. “Sit down have a drink.”
“Do I know you?” Phoebe said.
“Yeah, we met years ago, plus I knew your sister Prue,” she said. “I used to work at Bucklands.”
“Hey, is your brother around,” Chris asked Leanne.
“I am an only child,” Leanne said.
“But not for too much longer,” the mother smiled at Leanne. She gently patted herself on the stomach.
“Oh congratulations,” Phoebe said. Phoebe’s face lit up with a sudden realization. “Oh, Tanya Parker, how could I forget? Sandwich girl at Bucklands!”
“That’s right!” Tanya said.
“Sandwich girl?” Chris questions. “I thought she was a nurse.”
“I am studying to become one now,” Tanya answered excitedly.
“Chris, do you know these people?” Phoebe questioned.
“Ahh, can’t say that I do,” Chris answered. “Come on.” Chris headed for the porch with the clear confidence that he just knew where everything was.
They saw Scott standing on the edge of the terrace. The back yard looked like the ideal place for a picnic or barbeque. There was a nice wooden picnic table, a barbeque grill with a fire extinguisher close by, a large in ground pool in the year nicely lit with fluorescent lighting.
Scott was looking at the stars through his telescope. Then the dark cloud-like demon appeared. It moved toward Scott. Chris teleketically moved the demon away from Scott. The demon began moving toward Chris. Chris grabbed the fire extinguisher and sprayed the demon. “That won’t kill it, but it will slow it down,” Chris said. Now let’s get him out of here. Chris orbed everyone back to the manor.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phoebe dragged Chris to the kitchen. “Are they your parents,” Phoebe asked.
“Nah, there son was just a good friend of mine growing up,” Chris answered.
“How old are you,” Phoebe asked.
“Shouldn’t we be finding out why Scott is on Jason’s grudge list?” Chris asked.
“Yeah,” Phoebe answered in an annoyed tone. They returned to the living room.
“Tell me Scott, do you know Jason Dean,” Chris asked.
“Yeah, we were best friends in high school,” Scott said.
“Best friends?” Phoebe said.
“Yeah, we always were,” Scott said. Then his expression changed, “Up until senior year when we both fell for the same girl.” Tanya darted her husband a dirty look. “What!”
“I know you came with a history, but I still don’t like to hear about other girls!” Tanya said. He kissed her on the cheek.
“Well, I am Jason’s girl now, we will be getting married soon,” Phoebe blurted out. Phoebe also didn’t like hearing about other girls of Jason’s past.
“Well, he certainly did well for himself!” Scott said. He received yet another darted look from the wife. “You know you are the only one for me now,” he told her. “But I wasn’t born on the day we fell in love! Felt like I was though.” Tanya smiled at him this time.
Tanya turned to Phoebe. “Congratulations!” she said.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phoebe pulled Chris back to the kitchen. “Ok, what ever his problem was with Jason, he is definitely over it!” Phoebe said. “They were both genuinely happy for us. It helps being an empath. Now, let’s get back to talking about you!”
“Forget it!” Chris said. “I mean lets get started on that vanquishing potion.”
“We don’t even know what we are up against,” Phoebe said.
“Speak for yourself, I know exactly what that was,” Chris said. Chris started a pot on the stove and started to make a potion.
“You don’t need the recipe?” Phoebe sounded surprised.

Chris finished the potion rather fast. He returned to the Parker’s apartment. The demon was now roaming around looking for the Parkers. He throw the potion and watched the demon explode. Then he returned home.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later that evening, Phoebe confronted Jason. “Jason, listen, Darryl showed me your grudge list. I wanted to ask you about some of the people on it. I can’t remember what names he said,” Phoebe said.
“I still have the list saved on my computer,” Jason said. He turned on his computer. As the computer was booting, Phoebe remembered one of the names. “Daisy Potter.”
Jason looked at Phoebe uncomfortably. “Daisy Potter? The florist? Great idea, she can do the flowers for the wedding!” Jason said.
“Huh,” Phoebe said. “Wasn’t she one of the names on your grudge list?”
“No,” Jason responded. Jason called up his document and started printing it.
“Also, how do you know Cole Turner?” Phoebe asked.
“Cole Turner, never met the man,” Jason said. “But I remember seeing him on TV, pulling a girl out a burning building. Why do you ask?”
“Because he was on the third page of your grudge list,” Phoebe said.
“Phoebe, my grudge list was only two pages long,” Jason said. The printer finally printed the second page.
“May I bring this to Darryl?” Phoebe asked. “Somehow your list got changed.” Phoebe didn’t bother to look at the list. Now she already had a pretty good idea what happened. She even thought she knew who was behind it!

It's been a long, hard road without you by my side. Why weren't you there all the nights that we cried? Your broke my mother's heart you broke your children for life. It's not ok, but we're alright. I remember the days, you were a hero in my eyes, but those are just a long lost memory of mine. I spent so many years, learning how to survive and now I'm writing this to let you know I'm still alive
