Okay...this has been driving me well not crazy but its always been on my mind. you know the episode where they get there magic exposed on tape and the cleaners turn it around so it looks like Darlyn killed the Bad guys? and they go up to the ppl with the Huge glowing flowting heads in i think season 6 so that they can free darlyn and the Deman of fear is the... well i guess "lawyer" against them? well Phobe lost all her active powers and after that.But she could earn them back you know. how come she only got her power of preminition back? or so it seems. but she never levitated or empathed some one again and they stoped talking about that to after a while. and there were plenty of times when her powers would have come in handing in the future.So did she ever get her active powers back? and its weriod that she just sort of let it go after (in the first 3 seasons)3 years of wanting active powers.

Well for one thing her levitation was replaced with empathy due to budget cuts causing the levitation effect to be unaffordable. And the By Sytx Feet Underthey must not have written in empathy yet. Sorry I forget when exactly empathy first appeared as I have not seen a lot of that season for ages. So I am not 100% sure about that but I am about her levitation being written out.

Phoebe's empath power started in the first episode of the sixth season. Valhalley of the Dolls was the episode.

Her empathy power first appeared on the first episode of Season 6. And Phoebe didn't levitate anymore because of what colehellsangel mentioned, budget. Budget cuts really messed everything up  |

Seeing the Future is the most powerful power of all the girls as almost all the innocents they saves and potentially fatal outcomes were remedied by Phoebe forseeing it. Phoebe also mentions that she had minute premonition which is why she was rarely caught off gaurd when actively facing a baddy and she was always the one to yell "watch Out" cause she could "see" the attack coming. Levetation is a "fear" Fear trigger and Empathy is a "Anger" trigger and as a Passive type used to things happening she was rarely Angry or Scared...so |

You are quite possibly the first person to realize this. Hardly anyone on the show . . . especially Phoebe, never truly appreciated her psychic abilities. The Source didn't want them, despite having the opportunity to steal them (and this from an individual who had always depended upon seers to guide him). Leo had viewed them as a regression of Past Phoebe's pyrokinesis . . . the boob.
They would have never saved as many people as they eventually did without Phoebe's visions. As many have stated before - "information is power".

"Witchstock" was the last episode where Phoebe is seen levitating. She officially loses her levitation power (along with her other witch powers) in "Crimes and Witch Demeanors."
Phoebe could very well gain back her levitation and empathy powers several months or even years after the events of "Forever Charmed."
