A difficult vanquish (finished)

Ok before I start the actual story, I will note that the demon named Biktor is inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger so picture the the big man when reading this. Also this story is post Pru's death and pre season 7 when Chris has the girls out hunting for the demon to turn Wyatt. Pheebs has her powers but the sisters do know who Chris is.


Chris is in the attic thumbing through the BoS. He calls for "Phoebe!"
Phoebe runs into the room in a panic and ready to fight. "What?" she snips.
"Him, It's him. This has to be the demon who turns Wyatt." He says pointing to a page in the book.
Phoebe walks over to the book seeing a picture of a huge scary looking demon. She reads aloud "Biktor, this demon is son to a powerful oracle and a warlock. There is no known way to vanquish him. And his goal is to turn as many witches to the darkside as he can in attempt to shift the balance of power in evil's favor." She looks to Chris "Are you sure? You've said that before, and even though he is a candidate, this entry is old Chris. How can we be sure he is still alive?"
Chris "Touch his picture, see if you can get a premonition from it. I'm almost positive that it's him. It just has to be."
Phoebe "Even if it is him, Chris. The book says there is no way to vanquish him. Just how are we supposed to kill him?"
Chris "No. It says 'There is no KNOWN way to vanquish him.' Aunt Pheebs, you've vanquished many demons that there were no vanquishes for in the book. You are a Charmed One, if anyone can vanquish this demon you three can. For Wyatt's sake, please Aunt Pheebs."
"It's so hard to say 'no' to that face." She says smiling at him. "I'd better learn how to soon though. Ok, I'll call Paige and your mom, and we'll go hunting. If we can find him." She touches the picture of Biktor in the book and gets hit with a premonition. She sees Biktor killing two people and taking their baby from it's crib. When the premonition is over she looks at Chris and says "Oh the big guy is going down!"

The next morning

Phoebe is in the kitchen explaining things to Piper and Paige. Leo and Chris are "Up There" with baby Wyatt.Piper is making some potions. "This one duplicates my freezing power, this one is a sleeping potion, and this one should reduce even the most powerful to a whimpering kitten." Piper says pointing to one potion after another. "How are things coming with the spells Paige?" She continues as she turns to look at Paige who's sitting at the table.
"I'm not sure if these will work. But I have reworded the one we used to vanquish the Source, and a new one." Paige says looking up at Piper. "It's a little difficult since the book didn't tell us much about him and we have yet even meet this guy."
"Believe me Paige you don't want to meet this guy. He steals babies for crying out loud. He's a monster. A HUGE monster!" Phoebe replies.
"Ok, well Wyatt is safe with Leo and Chris, so lets go this guy." Piper comments. "But how are supposed to find him? It's not like we can scry for him. We don't have anything that belongs to him."
Phoebe thinking aloud "Maybe if we use the page from the book..."
"We are NOT going to rip up the book!" Paige says snidely. "We can't."
"We will if it's the only way to save Wyatt and countless other children from being taken by this guy." Phoebe pleads.
"I have another idea." Piper informs them. "Think outside the box." She continues while looking at Paige.
"Huh?" both Paige and Phoebe are lost by Piper's words.
"We say a spell to take us to him. Look we've done things like this before. So it's not that crazy, but scrying isn't the only answer. Besides who says he's here in San Fran. Look, all I'm saying is we say a spell to take us to wherever he is, orb in and surprise him. Maybe then it'll be 'poof in, vanquish, poof out', and we'll be home in time for dinner." Piper explains.
"It's worth a try." Paige gives in.
"Ok lets do it." Phoebe tells her sisters. "I'll write the spell." Goes to the table where Paige was once sitting and grabs a sheet of paper and pencil and begins to write. After she's finished the spell, she walks to Piper and Paige joins them. Holding the paper so her sisters can read it, Piper arms with potions and Paige keeps her spells in hand. They begin to recite "Magic forces black and white, Reaching out through space and light, Be he far or be he near, Take us to the demon Biktor." Paige and Piper look at Phoebe confused. "What?" Phoebe asks. "Ok so I reworded the Belthazor summoning spell a little." As she she and her sisters disappear from the kitchen.
They reappear in a room of crying babies and see the huge demon holding a baby while warlocks attend to the crying children.
"I was wondering when you were going to get here. I was beginning to think you'd never come." Biktor says smirkly looking to the sisters. "One thing before you vanquish me. Since all of their parents are dead, who will care for all these children once I'm gone?"
Paige replies all too quickly with "Child services scumbag." as she throws the sleeping potion. Biktor just waves his hand and it explodes mid-air. Hitting a few babies the potion puts them to sleep and the room quiets a little. Piper tries freezing the room but Biktor and a the babies don't freeze.
"Your powers are useless against me witch." Biktor informs Piper.
"Maybe, but are your minions immune as well?" She asks as she turns to a frozen warlock and blows him up. "Guess not." she retorts as she continues to blow up the other warlocks.
"There are more where those came from. Matter of fact, here they are." Biktor says smiling and holding up one of the babies.
Piper feeling a little guilty about the warlocks and babies decides to say a spell. "Prudence, Patricia, Penelope, Melinda,
Astrid, Helena, Laura and Grace Halliwell witches stand strong beside us Vanquish this evil from time and space" The few remaining warlocks explode and Biktor falls to knees and drops the baby he was holding. Piper seeing the baby freezes it as Paige orbs to the baby and grabs. She runs over to a crib and puts the baby down. The sisters are in awe that Biktor is still alive.
"I'm not the Source." He stands up and laughs. "You'll have to do better then that."
Piper turns to Paige "Get the babies out of here." she tells her sister.
Phoebe looks to Biktor "My turn!" She says taking a potion out of her pocket.

Paige picks up two babies and orbs them to the church she was left at as a baby. And returns to grab more.

Phoebe throws the potion knowing Biktor will blow it up before it hits him. As he does just that, Phoebe empathically channels his power back at him. The explosion hits him and not potion. He begins to bleed. Biktor looks to Phoebe "You stupid witch. You think I'd allow you to kill me that easily. I won't go down without a fight."
"I was hoping you'd say that." Phoebe says as she jumps and using her levitation powers kicks him. Biktor goes flying backwards.
"You are really starting to annoy me!" Biktor grunts as he gets up. "Aren't you even the slightest bit curious as to how I knew you were coming? And have you even thought about what my powers might be? You can't defeat me without the power of three!" He laughs then grabs Phoebe and shimmers away.
"Not again!" grumbles Piper as Paige orbs in for more children.
"Where's Biktor and Phoebe?" Paige asks her obviously annoyed sister.
"He took Pheebs.He's trying to keep the power of three from defeating his sorry @$$." Piper replies. "Let's get the rest of these babies out of here then go back to the manor." She grabs a few children as does Paige and leaving none behind, they orb to the church where 2 nuns are awaiting "The Angel" to bring them more children.

Somewhere in the underworld Biktor has phoebe locked in a cage. Trying to channel Biktor's powers to blow the lock, Phoebe continuously motionsher hands and squinting her eyes. Biktor just laughs at her. "You aren't the only who can make potions and cast spells. I can see the future as well witch. I knew you were coming for me and prepared a few things. I knew you'd come to the nursery and try to kill me. I also knew you'd fail. You see this potion here?" He says holding up a half empty vial. "I drank it and now I am immune to your powers as well as the witch that can freeze."
"Then you must also know that my sisters will come for me, and that they won't stop until I'm free and you're dead" Phoebe replies snidely.
"Enough!" Biktor shouts angrily. "What power does your other sister have? Tell me or I'll kill you now. And then I'll kill your sisters then your Whitelighter and instead of teaching your nephew in the ways of dark magic, I'll make him my slave. But only after I take his powers for myself."
Phoebe realizing that he knows they are the Charmed Ones and that he knows about Leo and Wyatt, also realizes he knew about Piper's powers from his premonition and only knew about her's after she had used them on him. He knew nothing of Paige's powers. He only knew that she could orb. Thinking quickly Phoebe tells him "She is a Whitelighter, she only has whitelighter powers."
"Ah, She'll be an easy kill then. I'm still going to kill you and your sisters. Your Whitelighter too if he gets in my way." Biktor explains. "And your nephew, the Twice Blessed Child, well he will be blessed no more because his powers will be mine. He is much too powerful to simply turn him to our side. I will have his magic."

Back at the manor
Leo orbs in with Chris. "Wyatt's with the Elders. How can we help?" Leo says to Piper.
"Well, I don't think this Biktor guy will be expecting the four of us to go in. I think he has premonitions like Phoebe, he seemed too well prepared to not have seen us coming. So the plan is for Paige and I to go in and you and Chris orb in behind him while we keep him distracted. You two free Pheebs and the three of us can say this power of three spell I wrote." Piper says filling Leo in on her plan.
"Where's Paige?" Chris asks looking around.
"Looking over the book again to see if we missed anything." Piper answers as Paige comes down the stairs followed by... Paige who in turn is followed by... Paige.
Piper rolling her eyes says "Oh my!"

Yea same spell Prue used. It was always one of my favorites so I decided to put it in. And thanks for the review.

All three Paiges stand in a line looking very guilty. Chris confused asks "What's going on?"
Piper tells her son "She used a spell to triple her powers." Looking to all three Paiges, not knowing which one is the real Paige continues with "I know that spell all too well, Prue cast it once. Paige this is not... Wait a minute! New Plan" She says with a smile.

Phoebe is doing everything she can to keep Biktor's mind off of her sisters in hopes he won't have another premonition of an impending attack. She asks him about his parents and how many babies he has turned evil just to have them vanquished by her and her sisters. She then asks him how he managed to avoid her and her sisters for so long. Hoping this distraction will also keep him from mixing his potions correctly. "You know if you use fresh whole garlic instead of garlic powder, that'll taste much better." She informs him.
"I'm not that stupid and neither are you. You know I'm not making food. You also know that I'm not using garlic." Biktor retorts. "Now shut up because your distractions aren't working. I've already seen your sisters and Whitelighters attacking." He turns to face Phoebe. "That's right, I know you have two whitelighters now."
"Shows how much you know. Leo isn't a whitelighter anymore." She roles her eyes in a reply.
Paige orbs in and throws a sword at the demon as he turns and grabs it throwing it back at her. She falls to the ground in a heap.
"NO!" Phoebe screams.

Paige doubles over in pain. "She's dead." Paige tells Piper and the others with tears flowing down her face.
Piper hugs Paige. "I'm sorry but it needed to be done in order to throw him off. With him thinking you are now dead, we have the upper hand." She tells her sister trying to comfort him.
The clone Paige tells Piper "We know. And we'd do it all over again to save the Phoebe. To save anyone we love for that matter." looking to Wyatt and then Chris.
Chris and Leo deeply saddened by Paige's pain tell the sisters "We need to go now before he catches on to our plan."
"If he hasn't already." Chris finishes.

Phoebe screaming and crying tries one more time to escape from her cage. With her enraged emotions amping her power, she manages to levitate the cage up to the high ceiling and allowing it to fall. The cage shatters. A metal pole is driven into Phoebe's thigh making her scream out in pain. But she doesn't care about herself anymore so she gathers all her strength and crawls to her sister's side. Picking up Paige's head and holding it close to her heart, she whispers in her ear that she loves her and will avenge her death.
Piper and Leo orb in near Phoebe and the dead Paige. Phoebe looks up to Leo pleadingly. He shakes his head as to say he can't heal her. Crying even more now Phoebe furiously tries to channel anyone's active powers to use against Biktor but to no avail.
Biktor is standing near a table that's covered with potion ingredients, vials, paper, pencils, and a vat for mixing the potions. "I'm prepared for anything you can throw at me witch. Your Whitelighter can't help you. I've made you powerless here. All of you. I am immune to all of your powers." He says laughing. "Now that the power of three is broken, you haven't got enough power to kill me. But I can kill you."
Piper yells out "NOW!" as Chris orbs. Seeing that Phoebe is hurt he looks to Leo who picks her up and orbs out leaving Piper and Chris alone.

"We have to go back! He'll kill them!" Phoebe screams and she pummels Leo's chest.
Leo calmly tells her "Be still so I can pull this out. It's going to hurt, but I can't heal you as long as it's in." He swiftly jerks the pole out of her leg as she screams out in pain. Leo then covers her leg with both hands to heal her.

Piper picks up a pole from the broken cage and tosses it in the air. Chris telekinetically sends the pole hurling towards Biktor. Biktor ducks and the pole sticks in the wall. Chris then tries to send Biktor backwards into the pole but only manages to knock him backwards a few inches. Which isn't nearly close enough. Biktor angry at this boy who he hadn't accounted for, scolds "I'll kill you for that." as he balls up his hand. Obviously trying to gather all his power. Piper then yells "Leo!"

Leo looks away from Phoebe "Piper's calling. We have to go back and help her."
"What're you waiting for then? Lets go. NOW!" Phoebe tells Leo trying to rush him. "ORB! ORB!"
Leo takes her hand and they orb back to Piper and Chris.
Piper armed with potions which she had stored in her pocket, is throwing one after another at Biktor. He dodges one and blows up another. One eventually makes contact, but only hits his shoulder. It explodes and now he is bleeding profusely. Trying to not let the sisters know how much it hurt, he just grunts and grabs is arm.
Paige orbs and says "Thank you." She picks up a chunk of his flesh and orbs out. Phoebe is now in total shock. Confused and not knowing what's going on, she looks to Piper.
"I'll explain later. Right now, consentrate in killing this bas.." Piper is cut off but Biktor who tries to blow her up. But since his power isn't nearly as strong as her's it just knocks her down on her butt. "Ouch!" She cries out angrily.
Chris helps Piper to her feet. He then looks to Phoebe and tells her "Channel my powers. He didn't guard himself against them." Phoebe nods and joins Chris in telekinetically throwing Biktor across the room and into a pillar. Where he lays still trying to work past the pain.
Paige orbs in. "Got it!" She proclaims. "This vanquishing potion should work."
Biktor looks up at her and grabs her leg making her fall. The vial falls to the floor shattering. Biktor then shimmers away.

"Dang it!" Piper growls. "He got away." Looking to Phoebe, who is still in shock, Piper begins to fill her in about three Paiges. Paige Leo and Chris grab hold of Phoebe and Piper and orb home to the manor.

"Ok, so where's the third Paige?" Phoebe asks.
"She umm well she is..." Leo begins to tell Phoebe their plan C but stops. "The other Elders are calling me. I have to go."
Chris walks in the room with Piper and Paige following him. Piper goes to the kitchen with Phoebe and Paige following her. Chris stays in the livingroom with baby Wyatt. Piper begins taking ingredients out of the cupboard while Paige gets a big pot and places it on the stove. "Ok, here's the deal" Piper tells Phoebe. "This Paige isn't the original Paige and neither was the one you saw die. I'm sorry you had to witness her die but it was neccessary in order for him to think Paige was dead. We needed to gain the upper hand, and with him thinking she was dead would do that. Now that he's seen this second Paige, he thinks her power is cloning. So he'll use a potion to protect against that power. Which also gives us the upper hand. As far as knows Leo is just a whitelighter, and he doesn't know what to think of Chris. And he doesn't know exactly what Paige is either. And with us being powerless against him, we'll need this." She mixes together some ingredients and throws them in the pot.
Paige tells Phoebe "This is the most powerful potion we've ever made. It's the one we made to try to vanquish Cole. The real Paige is at magic school, she'll be here for the final fight. Which is what we're preparing for now. Leo is coming back to take Wyatt up to the Elders, then he and Chris will be joining us. That potion that Biktor shattered wasn't his vanquishing potion. It was a confusion potion I made. It should block him premonitions or at least give him several different ones so that he won't know which one is real. He should also be so confused that he won't know what's going on when we get there. It was meant to be broken near him. The fumes from it are what works. I was immune to it, that's why I'm still focused. He did exactly what Piper said he'd do. And so did you."
"What do you mean?" Phoebe asks glaring at Piper.
Piper looks to Phoebe and explains "I knew that when you saw Paige die, your emotions would get the best of you and you'd find a way to escape whatever Biktor had done to hold you captive. You are so smart and strong Pheebs. I knew if anyone could do it, it would be you. You just needed the extra 'Umph' of seeing Paige die. I told I was sorry. And I hated to ask Paige to sacrifice herself, but we all needed her to."
"See, that's why you're the big sister Piper. I could never make a decision like that." Phoebe comforts Piper with a smile and a hug.
The real Paige orbs in, "Ok ready."
Phoebe turns around to see Paige. Runs over and hugs her. "Are you ok?" Phoebe worriedly asks.
"I'm fine Pheebs." looking somewhat confused Paige hugs Phoebe.
"Got him!" The second Paige calls out. She had been scrying for Biktor using his chunk of flesh she took.
Leo orbs in.
"What'd they want?" Phoebe asks.
"They won't keep Wyatt while we go on this vanquish because they said there are enough of us here to do that. So I went to Gideon and he said Wyatt could stay in the nursery there. I'll go get Wyatt and drop him off with Gideon. Then I'll be back to help in anyway I can. Ok?" He begins to kiss Piper goodbye but thinks the better of it. His hearts starts to break as he thinks of how much he misses his wife. And so no one sees him tearing up he turns and walks into the living room to get Wyatt.Phoebe feeling his pain, places her hand over stomach.
"Are you ok?" Paige asks worried.
"Yea fine." Phoebe says. Knowing she needs to hide this pain from Piper so that her sister doesn't need to suffer any more then she already is, so continues with "I just haven't eaten much today and now I'm paying for it." She grabs an apple from the bowl sitting on the counter and eats it.
"Pheebs you really should take care of yourself." Paige scolds.
"Next time I get kidnapped by a demon, I'll make sure to demand a menu." Phoebe laughs.
Piper annoyed by her sisters' bickering demands "Enough! We have things to do." Chris enters the room and joins his mom in filling vials with the potion. "This potion should do the job." Piper finishes.

Biktor, wounded and wandering about in the Underworld, is having trouble remembering what happened to his shoulder, or why he has feelings of urgency and fear. He's feeling dizzy and he aches all over. The pain in his shoulder is throbbing making him moan with every step he takes. He comes across a scavenger demon and kills it instantly out of fear for his life. He falls to the ground and roars out of anger. Thinking he shouldn't be this clumsy or should he? If only he could remember what happened and what it is he needs to do. Then suddenly he is hit with a premonition. He sees twins orbing an athame at him. Then he sees two dark haired women with some guy throw potions at him and he dies; bringing him out of his premonition. Confused, he flees to the one place he feels safest. His sister's home.
Phoebe, Piper, Chris, Leo, and both Paiges gather together, vanquishing potions in hand. Chris grabs hold of Piper's hand, and Leo of Phoebe's as they all orb to where the scrying crystal pointed out. They arrive to see a beautiful woman pouring what must be a potion into a glass. The woman turns to see all these people standing in her home looking at her. "You... You did this to him. How dare you!" the woman screamed. "You'll pay for what've done!"
Piper rolling her eyes, turns her head to see an unconscience Biktor laying on the floor. She throws her potion at him. It explodes; waking him up. Biktor screams out in pain when another potion hits him. And he explodes sending everyone in the room flying away from the spot where he was laying.
Phoebe, who had thrown the second potion is out cold. Piper landed on Leo who is also out cold. Both Paiges went threw a wall and are barely alive in the next room. Chris landed next to Phoebe and Biktor's sister landed on her bed on the opposite side of the room. Piper and Biktor's sister get to their feet quickly. Piper seeing this tries to blow up the demon. It just sends her flying back on the bed again. Chris slowly gets up and rushes to Leo to wake him up. Piper, then freezes the demon. And turns to aid Chris. When Leo finally awakes. Chris tells him "You have to go heal Paige and um Paige. They're hurt." Leo sensing this, orbs to them but doesn't know which Paige to heal.
"Chris, get over here and help me." Leo yells out. Chris climbs through the hole in the wall and holding one of Leo's hands, he places one hand over the Paige closest to him while Leo holds his free hand over the other Paige. Their hands glow as the healing proccess begins.
Piper wakes Phoebe and helps her to her feet. "I hope we have enough power to vanquish this demon. We don't even know who she is." Phoebe says, worrying aloud.
Piper, not too worried, answers her sister with, "Look, either she isn't as powerful as he was, or she isn't as prepared as he was. I think the vanquishing potion we made for Biktor will work on her."
Both Paiges crawl through the hole in the wall. "I still have my vial." says one Paige.
"Me too" adds the other.
"Ditto" Chris chimes in as he orbs back into the room.
Piper "See Phoebe, and if the potions don't do their job, we still have the power of three."
"Four." Laughs both Paiges. As an athame suddenly hits one of the Paiges in head. The other Paige falls to the ground along side of her twin.
"Not again!" Phoebe cries out angrily. She then flips around empathically channels the demon's power (not knowing what it is) waves her hands. An athame appears in her hand. She throws the athame at the demon but the demon ducks just in time.
Piper then tries blowing her up again and this time the demon explodes.
"That was too easy." Piper worries aloud.
"Who cares. As long as she is gone." replies Phoebe. She then kneels down next to both Paiges.
"Luckily the Paige she hit was just the clone." Paige tells her. "I've died twice today, this is getting scary. I'm down to one life now. I'd better be more careful."
Piper tells her family, "Let's get out of here." She then grabs Chris' hand and Paige grabs Phoebe and they all orb out.
The demon uncloaks herself. "Good thing my powers are cloaking and invisibility." she says to herself. "Now those witches think I'm dead. Which gives me the opportunity to surprise them."
The three sisters orb back into the room, holding hands. "See, I knew she wasn't dead." boasted Piper.
"Ok, ok" Paige told her. "Demon remember." She pointed to the demon who formed an athame in her hand. Paige called out "Athame." It orbed to her. She threw at the demon. She ducked, and the athame barely missed her. As she turned her attention back to the sisters, she was hit with a vanquishing potion which knocked her to the ground in a bloody heap.
"Piper now!." Phoebe rushed her sister to throw the second potion. Piper raised her arm, vial in hand; at the same time the demon threw another athame and made herself invisible again. Paige called out "Demon" hoping that her power would find the hidden demon. Paige then waved her arm and pointed to the potion vial which had shattered just inched from where the demon once was. Hoping against hope that this action would cause the demon to land on the potion finishing it off. Yet, nothing happened. So, Phoebe reaching out once again with her empathy, works on reversing the magic that made the demon invisible. That works and Paige now seeing her, calls for "potion" and waves her arm. The liquid flies to the demon hitting her. The demon, now unconscience, is laying on the floor bleeding profusely. Piper deciding it's time to put her out of her misery, motions to blow her up. The demon jerks and moans in pain. Piper motions again. And again the demon jerks.
"It'll take too long that way." Phoebe tells Piper as she grabs her arm. "Let's just say a spell and get back to our lives."
"I have just the spell." Paige says to her sister.
"Evil is a faithful foe
But good does battle best
We witches will with these words
Waste this demon's evil zest" Paige recites as her sisters follow her lead. The demon explodes. Seeing this and worried about what happened last time, Paige quickly grabs her sister and orbs out. She orbs back into the room with her sisters.
Piper not wanting to take any chances, begins to gesture, blowing things up all around the room. Phoebe empathically not sensing anyone in the room but her sisters, tells Piper, "I think she's gone. We can go home now." Paige and Piper knowing she is right nod in agreement.
"Let's order in tonight. I'm too tired to cook." Piper tells her sisters as they orb home.

Back at the manor with Chris, Leo and Wyatt, the sisters sit around the table talking and laughing. Phoebe gets a premonition. She sees her teen self trashing her high school gymnasium.
"What was that?" asked Piper.
"I'm not really sure" Phoebe answers confused.
