Hey everyone! Happy New year~ hope the holidays for you all were filled with fun and joy. here is my latest story. its a bit darker than usual and a little more graphic. just thought i'd warn ya but its nothing big. probably not that bad...just graphic in my eyes maybe. anyways, wishing you peace and rosperity thoughout the new year! ****** Posession Sequel to:
The Wedding *****
Chapter One
The club was booming with customers all dressed up in costumes. Fake spider webs hung about the ceiling and along the bar counter. Fake skeletons took their positions along the walls while rubber bats hung from the ceiling. Among the costumes were vampires, ghouls, zombies, cats, people with scantily clad costumes, Nurses, and a Tarzan and Jane. There were also police and firemen, the Village People, aliens, Play boy bunnies and Frankensteins.
Piper filled another shot glass and handed it to her customer. She was dressed in an elegant looking white gown that reached her feet. Even though she was almost six months pregnant, Piper refused to stop working. She needed the money and besides, the club would be lost without her. She adjusted the sparkling tiara and glanced over at Chris who was dressed up as a police officer.
“Piper!” Paige yelled above the loud music. Piper turned and saw her younger sister dressed up as a nymph.
“Whoa, I’m having flashbacks,” she said.
“Yeah well, I decided to dress up as something that I have been.”
“When were you a nymph?” Glenn asked. “Why do I always miss out on the good things?”
Paige shook her head.
“Hello my lady,” Glenn then said to Piper as he bowed.
Piper laughed. “Hello Zorro.”
“So are Wyatt and Leo out trick or treating?” Paige asked.
Piper nodded. “Yup. Leo decided to take him. He didn’t want me walking about so long. I guess I’m helpless again since I’m pregnant.”
“I guess you’re just stubborn…as usual,” Paige adjusted. Paige glanced around. “Whoa! Who’s that?” she asked of the Marilyn Monroe who was chatting up a storm with Chris at the other end of the table.
“That would be Audrey- Jason’s cousin. She and Chris have been seeing a lot of each other for the past two weeks.”
“I can’t believe that!” Paige exclaimed.
“I know; Zoey is way more hot than her,” Glenn added. Paige gave Glenn a look. He smiled a goofy smile.
“Yeah well it doesn’t seem like Zoey minds,” Piper said glancing ahead of her. Paige and Glenn turned around and looked at where Piper was staring. Zoey and Jake were coming down the stairs. She looked gorgeous in her Cleopatra costume. She wore a bare midriff white bikini like top and white skirt that flowed out nicely from her hips. On her right arm she wore a gold bracelet that spiraled down and she wore clear strapped sandal high heels to match. Her hair was straightened and she wore a gold band around her head. Her eyes were lined heavily in black and she wore gold eye shadow.
“Hello Cleopatra,” Glenn said with a sly smile.
“Back off there Zorro,” Jake joked.
“She’s all yours Bond. James Bond.”
“Wow,” Piper said. “That costume came out great. You made that yourself?”
Zoey nodded. “Yeah. It wasn’t that hard actually.”
“Piper,” Chris said as he approached them with Audrey hand in hand. “I’m going to take my break now.” His jaw nearly dropped at the sight of Zoey. He knew she had been busy working on her costume but he didn’t know what she was going to be. She looked beautiful as always. He couldn’t help smiling at her. “Hey,” he said in a friendly voice.
“Hey,” she said without feeling.
“Go ahead,” Piper said.
“Who was that?” Audrey asked curiously as they began to dance to the music from the band that was dressed up as skeletons and the drummer was dressed up as Dracula.
“Oh that was Zoey.”
“Like in your ex-girlfriend?” Audrey said as she threw a casual glance at where the others were.
Chris nodded. “One in the same.”
Audrey nodded. “Well you better forget about her because you’re with me tonight.” She pulled him close to her and kissed his lips. This took Chris by surprise at first but then he went with it and kissed her back.
It was now well around mid-night but the club was still packed and people were still dancing and having a great time. Right now Paige and her sisters were sitting around the bar and having a few drinks while Piper sipped her water. Glenn had his arm around Paige and they continued to laugh and engage in conversation.
Chris was trying to have a conversation with Audrey while serving customers at the same time. In the beginning it had been going well and he had been able to give Audrey his attention along with serving his customers. He was mixing a cocktail right now and glanced out at the dance floor. Jake and Zoey were still dancing and enjoying themselves. Right now they were dancing really close for the beat of the song. Jakes hands were on her bare waist and her arms were wrapped around his neck. Jake pulled her closer in and kissed her lips as they danced. She smiled and kissed him back. The music transitioned and a slow tune began.
Chris handed his customer her drink and still watched Zoey and Jake.
“Chris!” Audrey said more loudly this time.
“Sorry,” Chris said and looked over to where she was.
Audrey studied him for a second before going back to what she was going to say. “I was just letting you know that I have to get going. I have an exam in the morning. I’ll call you ok?”
Chris nodded and kissed her goodbye. The kiss was long and sweet. Audrey flashed a big smile then left the counter.
“Two waters,” Zoey said as she came to the counter.
Chris grabbed the water bottles out of the refrigerator and handed them to her. “Two dollars.”
Jake handed Chris the money and turned to Zoey. “I’m going to go see if I can find Adam. See if he needs a ride still.”
Zoey nodded and he kissed her before parting.
“Thanks for the water,” Zoey said then turned to leave.
“Zoey, wait!” Chris said chasing after her. He grabbed her elbow but she yanked it away from him.
“What?” she demanded.
“Could we talk?” he asked gently.
“You’ve got three minutes,” she said icily. Chris nodded and took her by the arm and led her to the back of the club. The two entered into Piper’s small office that she used which was covered in band posters and cluttered with binders containing shipment orders, and schedules. Zoey folded her arms across her chest as Chris closed the door.
He turned to her and smiled nervously. “How are you?” His voice was filled with uneasiness.
“Is that what you wanted to talk to me about?”
“No, I-I-”
“Tick, tick, tick, tick,” she mocked impatiently.
Chris sighed. This was going to be very difficult. He knew that Zoey was just as stubborn as he was and also could stay mad at someone for a very long time with out softening. “I miss being able to talk to you with out arguing. I mean, that’s all we ever seem to have done these past two weeks.”
“Aww, well too bad Christopher,” she said viciously. “Do you have any idea what it feels like to have been accused of something like that? I loved you but I guess you didn’t know that. Do you know how much it hurt to be attacked by you every moment I was in the same room with you? Then there was the whole incident at the rehearsal dinner. Our relationship was a private matter. You had no right to go off on me in front of all of those people and drag them into it.”
“I know, and I’m sorry. I just don’t want us to be fighting anymore. Isn’t there a slight possibility that we could be friends again?”
“Friends?!” she exclaimed with a slight laugh. She shook her head in disbelief and began to pace the office. “Right now I don’t want anything to do with you. The only interaction that’ll take place between us is if it involves demons and protecting Wyatt. Other than that I don’t want to talk to you or even see you.” As she said this Chris noticed her eyes flashed violet with anger.
Chris nodded, clearly hurt by her harsh demand. “Ok,” he said quietly and left her in the office.

Chapter two
“Well it looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day in San Francisco,” the meteorologist on the television informed. Piper glanced at the television then poured the coffee into a small red cup. “We’ll be having mostly sunny skies and highs reaching the mid-seventies. Its going to be a beautiful day especially if you’re planning on heading over to the Mission district for the annual Dia De Los Muertos parade beginning around 12:00 pm today.”
Piper piled on French toast and strips of bacon onto several plates. Chris entered the kitchen carrying Wyatt in his arms. “You know, Leo is the father and should be the one changing diapers; not me. I came back to protect Wyatt, not apply diaper rash cream. Besides, shouldn't he be potty trained by now?”
Piper laughed and took her son out of his arms. “Mommy, I’m hungry,” he said.
She smiled. “Good because breakfast is ready.” She sat Wyatt in his high stool and began to feed him.
Chris grabbed himself a plate of food and took a seat at the small table that was in the kitchen just as Zoey and Jake came out of the basement.
“Good morning,” Jake said cheerfully.
“Morning,” Zoey added also.
“Good morning,” Piper replied. “Take a seat and have some breakfast.”
“Thanks but I’ve got to get to work,” Jake said.
“Here; drink; return later,” Zoey said handing him a silver thermos filled with coffee.
“Thanks,” he said with a soft smile and kissed her lips. Zoey kissed him back. “Go.”
Piper raised a curious eyebrow at Zoey when Jake left the kitchen.
“It’s not like that,” she said to the look Piper gave her. “He’s still my friend only we’re more like friends with benefits now. Besides, I’m so not in a hurry to start another failed relationship.”
“I’m in the kitchen,” Chris reminded and took a sip of his orange juice. “Plus, it seems like you already did.”
Zoey glared at him. “Did you forget the agreement?”
Piper smiled sympathetically at Zoey. “Not talking to someone you see everyday is impossible. Believe me, I know. You’re just going to have to deal with it.”
“That’s not fair. Why do I have to suffer more?”
“Suffer?” Chris said. “I’m the one who gets the dirty looks and talked about behind my back.”
“Well then maybe you should have thought about that before assuming I was cheating on you and making my life a living hell for several days in a row.”
“What more do you want me to say?!” Chris exclaimed. “I apologized who knows how many times.”
“Apologies don’t make you any different from the other guys. You’re behavior was just like Damien’s.”
Chris’ face tensed up and he rose up out of his seat. Anger pulsated through his veins. If there was one thing in the world he had no tolerance for that was Damien Chase, Zoey's ex boyfriend/husband. She had been madly in love with Damien years before she had discovered that she was a witch and he was really a demon by the name of Alastor. He had torchered Zoey a lot, draining some of the sanity from her. No way in hell was he about to let her compare him to that creature.
“Hey, you guys, calm down,” Piper moderated. “What’s done is done. If you’re going to hate each other do it somewhere else. Now back to my point. You and Jake seemed to be really close on the dance floor last night. I mean there was some making out going on.”
“Seriously,” Paige said. “There was a lot of PDA last night.”
“Was everybody watching?” Zoey asked completely forgetting about the little tiff that she and Chris had had moments ago.
“It was pretty steamy,” Piper said.
“OH my goodness!” Zoey said. “Ok fine; so we got caught up in the moment. So what?”
“In the moment? It was more like the whole night.”
“Why are you all hounding me about this? What do you want to know?”
“Well, since you’re asking,” Piper said with a sly smile. “What is the 411 with you and Jake?”
Zoey sat across from Chris with her plate of food and snatched the syrup as he was reaching for it.
“Hey,” he said.
“Ok, well I lied. Go live vicariously through Paige and her new boy toy Glenn.” Piper turned to Paige but she glanced quickly at her watch.
“Oh darn, I’m late. See ya later!” with that the youngest sister hurried out of the kitchen.
“Fine, don’t talk to me,” Piper said with a tone of sadness in her voice. “It’s just- I’m alone when you’re at school and the others are at work and Chris is…well Chris. I don’t have anyone to talk to but hey, it doesn’t matter.” Piper began to sob. “I thought I was the young hip mother to you.”
“Made out at the wedding, hang out a lot, he walks me to class, not official and we hold hands a lot,” Zoey said quickly.
Piper looked up. Her face was completely dry. “Ok; I’m going to go change Wyatt into some new clothes.”
Zoey shook her head at Piper as she walked out with her son. “Why do I keep falling for that trap?”
Chris smiled and took a sip of his O.J. a heavy silence fell between them. “So, you and Jake hooked up at the wedding?” he began slowly. It was a funny dynamic to their relationship. NO matter how much they hated each other it never lasted long.
Zoey sighed as she cut her French toast. “No, that was solace.”
“You slept with him?!”
“No; and what do you care if I did or didn’t? I don’t even know why I’m talking to you about this. Shouldn’t you be out with Marilyn Monroe?”
“Her name’s Audrey,” Chris corrected matter of factly. He grinned slyly. “Are you jealous?”
“No I’m not jealous. I could care less who you date and what you do with your private life. That’s none of my business any more. Are you jealous of Jake?”
Chris laughed. “Why would I be jealous of Jake?”
Zoey shrugged. “Oh I don’t know; maybe because I saw you staring at Jake and me last night.”
“I wasn’t staring,” Chris said defensively. “I was merely glancing around.”
“Good. Because you need to move on-which you have- and so do I.”
The two fell into another silence. This time there was more tension in it because both of them wanted to say something but they couldn’t quite seem to choose if they should or not.
“I’m home!” Phoebe announced just then as she entered the kitchen.
Zoey smiled and gave Phoebe a big hug. “Its about time, I was beginning to think that you’re honeymoon was going to take up the rest of your life. It’s good to see you.”
“It’s good to see you too Zoey,” Phoebe said with a warm smile. She then hugged Chris. She stopped then glanced at the two unsure. “Are you two back together?”
“No, we’re not,” Zoey replied. “How were the Bahamas?”
“Great…from the parts I actually did see.”
“Phoebe!” Piper said coming in the kitchen hand in hand with Wyatt who was now dressed in black overalls.
“Hi Piper,” Phoebe said giving her sister a kiss on the cheek. She then picked up her nephew. “Oh how are you Wyatt?”
Wyatt smiled and played with Phoebe’s hair. “Good Auntie Phoebe.” Phoebe laughed.
Zoey stumbled and grabbed onto the counter.
“Are you alright?” Phoebe asked.
“No, no; oh man, this is going to hurt.” It suddenly felt like she had been smacked with a crow bar across her forehead. She cried out in pain as she fell to the ground. Zoey began to twist and jerk about as the pain became more immense.
Phoebe took Wyatt out of the kitchen since he had begun to cry. Zoey screamed from the pain.
Chris tried to hold her down by straddling her, putting all his weight on her pelvis to keep her from kicking up. He held her arms by her wrists and tried hard to keep her arms down.
Zoey tried to struggle but found it impossible to. Chris was a bit surprised at this seeing as she usually found a way to push him off of her. With her strength as an Amazon, it was as easy as throwing a rag doll. She screamed once more then her body stopped shaking altogether. Her eyes drooped tiredly. “Zoey,” Chris said patting her cheeks. “Zoey, stay with me. Do not close your eyes.”
Piper handed him a damp cloth so that he could pat it on her forehead. “I’ll go get some pain killers.”
Chris blotted the cloth on her cheeks and neck.
“Get off,” she said warningly. “GET OFF!”
Chris did so and as he did she screamed horribly in pain. Her eyes were a deeper violet than he had ever seen them be. Zoey jerked about the ground and cried out. Her body was numb and her head felt like it was being crushed. Again her body stopped jerking about. Zoey was sobbing from the pain as she wiped away the deep red blood that had trickled down from her nose. She sat up, shaking still. Chris moved his hands away and healed her bloody nose. She continued to cry and he put his arms around her.
“Its ok now,” he said, clearly scared by what had just happened. This was normal with Zoey ever since she had come back from the land of Arteias, the land of the Amazons. She would have these seizures and would have to recuperate from them but the past several times they occurred, they seemed to only get worse. “What did you feel?” he asked quietly.
She looked up at him oddly. “Life.”
End of chapter two

chapter three
“Are you sure about this?” the young girl asked as they both entered the magic shop. She was around 18 years old and how dark brown hair.
“Teresa, we’ve been over this already,” the elder woman said. She had the same appearance as Teresa: the same dark brown hair and eyes and the same tanned skin.
“But we’re talking about los muertos. The dead aren’t to be disturbed Anna.”
Anna turned towards her sister and locked eyes with her. “This is the only way to get Roberto’s killer to get what he deserves. I can’t just do nothing. It isn’t right.”
“Roberto was my brother too but is this really the way we should go about this? Think about what we’d be messing with. Y mama no-”
“She doesn’t have to know. Nobody has to know except us. Entender?”
Teresa nodded reluctantly.
Suddenly a little man appeared behind the counter. “How can I help you?”
Anna turned towards him. “We’re here looking for a book on resurrection and we heard you were the person to come to.”
The man shook his head. “No, I’m sorry. I cannot give you that book. Nature has its own balance and it could disturb the great design greatly.”
“Screw balance,” Anna said angrily. “There is no balance when someone you love is murdered. Now we need that book. It’s the only way to bring justice to our brother’s killer.”
The little man studied them for a moment before reaching under his counter and unlocking a safe. He placed the old leather bound book on top of the counter. “You’ll need a few more things.” He disappeared into a small closet like room.
Anna opened the book and flipped through the pages that were yellow around the edges. She viewed the various passages, illustrations and spells.
“Anna, maybe he’s right,” Teresa said quietly.
“So you just want Alexander to walk free?”
“You know I don’t-”
“Then you’ll help me with this.”
Teresa sighed in her defeat and the man returned. He rang up the few items that he had brought out of the closet and the two paid their fee. “Bringing back the dead brings back not the one you knew and loved, but something else,” he said as they left the shop.
*****
Zoey had an icepack on her forehead and was laying down on the couch in the living room
“I brought you some water,” Chris said as he set the glass down on the coffee table. He took a seat beside her. “How are you feeling?”
“Ever been whacked in the head with a crowbar?” she said miserably. Just then a green portal formed and out stepped a tall, attractive woman who looked exactly like Zoey except that her eyes were green.
“What are you doing here?” Chris asked coldly.
Mia smiled. “You have quite a little mouth on you. Be careful before I rip it off.” She quickly pictured the poor white lighter in agonizing pain. Her eyes flickered maliciously.
“Stop with the petty threats,” Zoey said sitting up. “What do you want?”
“Is that anyway to treat your mother?” Zoey gave her a cold look. Mia sighed. “I wanted to let you know that tonight is the lunar eclipse.”
“Oh my goodness! Really?” Zoey said sarcastically. “I wouldn’t have guessed except that it was on the news.”
Mia rolled her eyes. “The lunar eclipse is a time when our powers become weak. Our strength disappears too. The whole day we are left defenseless. I just wanted to warn you.”
Zoey looked at her. “Why?”
“I don’t know why, only that it does what it does. I advise you to come home.”
“Arteias is not my home.” Zoey got up. “So why don’t you just leave?” With that Zoey left the room.
Mia shook her head and her jaw tightened. “Watch my daughter. She’s stubborn. Gets that from her father.”
Mia formed another portal and vanished through it Chris sighed. “Great. First you threaten me then you want me to baby sit.”
end of chapter three

chapter four
Phoebe was walking down the street to get to her usual lunch place Stacks. The sun was awfully bright that day and she was wearing a pair of dark sunglasses to keep herself from squinting in the sun.
She smiled to herself. It was good to be back at work. She loved her job because it enabled her to help people without magic. Her readers trusted her a lot seeing as they would write about their problems and heed her advice. She thought that it would be a little different to be now married to Jason and working with him than being his date and working with him but it wasn’t true. Things didn’t change. Only now she was known by her family and friends as Phoebe Halliwell Dean, but to her readers she was still the same Ask Phoebe.
She stopped at a news paper and magazine stand to glance at the latest edition of Vogue and Elle. She then noticed a large photo on the Bay View Mirror’s paper and saw that the lead story was about a young Latin man who had been murdered and the court trial against his killer had already begun.
“It’s a shame what happened, isn’t it?” the vendor said.
Phoebe glanced at him. “Actually, I’ve been away for a while. What happened exactly?” She could smack herself for that lousy excuse. How was it that she never picked up a newspaper when she worked for one? Of course her life was busy but was she really that busy to glance at the paper every once in a while.
“A guy by the name of Roberto Rodriguez was murdered. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Poor kid. He had everything going for him. A good career in baseball in front of him, a great family and wham! Just like that he’s found in an alley way. His killer, Alexander Marquez is dancing around right now. His lawyers are working hard to get him to walk free. It might just happen too. There’s not enough concrete evidence to pin point him directly to the murder.”
“That’s horrible,” Phoebe said. “I’ll take a paper and the issue of Elle.” She reached for the paper and as she did she gasped. She opened her eyes after the vision had ended and glanced around.
“Are you alright lady?” the vendor asked looking at her curiously.
“Yeah, I-it’s the heat.” Phoebe paid for the paper and her magazine and quickly walked off. She needed to get home and quick.

“Piper? Paige?” Phoebe shouted as she entered the Halliwell manor in a rush. She quickly dropped her purse and hung her coat on the coat rack. “Anyone?”
“Hey what’s going on?” Piper asked as she came down the stairs and entered the foyer where Phoebe still stood. “Wyatt’s asleep.”
“I had a premonition, a big one.”
“Care to specify?”
“There were two girls and they were trying to resurrect the dead.” She glanced at her older sister awaiting her response. Piper just blinked as she tried to register the craziness that her sisters was saying.
“What?! Well when is this going to happen?”
“That’s the thing, I think it’s going to happen sometime around sunset,” Phoebe guessed.
“Well who are they? How will we find them?”
Phoebe shrugged. “I could scry for them. I mean, I had the premonition not too long ago.” She paused. “Wait a minute, I had just gotten briefed by the newspaper vendor about the Rodriguez trial when I got the premonition. Maybe their trying to resurrect him. Anyways it was only like a half hour ago that I had the premonition. Damn traffic, stalled me from getting here faster.”
“That’s what Zoey felt then.”
“What? You mean when she had that attack? How’s that even possible?” Phoebe questioned.
Piper shrugged. “I don’t know but that power is connected to the earth and so is a grave. Chris told me that she felt life. With your premonition we know what kind of life: the living dead.”
Phoebe shook her head. “It’s worse though. Resurrecting the dead is very dangerous. The people don’t even come back right.”
“We don’t know that,” Piper said. “I mean, in a way we resurrect Grams and Mom every time we wish to see them.”
“With Grams and Mom its different. You’ve seen Steven King’s Pet Cemetery,” Phoebe pointed out. “Besides, that is a lot of black magic that non-witches will be dealing with, they don’t know what they can unleash.”
Piper sighed. “Well let’s scry for them because we need to find them and fast.”
Phoebe nodded and followed her sister up the stairs. ******* Teresa set the last black candle down beside the grave of her older brother Roberto. The Rodriguez family was a very tight knit family. They were always there for one another and would do whatever was necessary to help each other out. They’re family values were above everything else in their life. That was the most important aspect of life: tu familia. That’s what poisoned them when the news of Roberto’s death was reported to them. It was as if the darkest day had come and remained in the family. No longer did they laugh, smile, or act happy. There was nothing to laugh or smile or act happy about.
Roberto had been the oldest brother in a family of five. Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez worked hard to ensure their son a stable future in college. His two younger sisters, Teresa and Anna, admired him and looked up to him. He was very close to their heart and his death struck them the hardest. It angered Anna when they found out that Roberto’s killer, Alexander, had not enough evidence to condemn him to being convicted. That’s why she sought out magic. Since it was El Dia de Los Muertos- the day of the dead- there was a strong possibility that resurrecting Roberto might work. After all, in Mexican tradition it is believed that on this one day, November 1, the dead’s souls are allowed to come back down to earth. Food is prepared and alters are made to welcome the dead. If the souls were allowed to come back, then all that was needed for the sisters to see him again was Roberto’s body and that’s where the book on resurrection came in.
Anna added the black poppy seed to the mixture of spider legs, mandrake root, wolfs bane and the heart of a dear. “Ok, now we need our blood.”
“Our blood? Por que? Why?” Teresa demanded a little frightened by having to offer blood to the unknown.
Anna sighed and pulled out an atheme from her black purse. “Our blood is what connects us to Roberto.” She pricked her finger and droplets of blood fell into the bowl and on top of a picture of the handsome young man who was smiling brightly. Teresa winced as Anna pricked her finger. “Light the candles,” Anna instructed.
Once all of the candles were lit, Anna opened the large book to the page where the spell for resurrection was. She sat up straight and began to read the spell: “Blood which binds, awake and live again, Osiris heed my rhyme. Rise from the grave, return to me this night, claim what’s yours by right.” A slight wind rustled through the trees and the firelight flickered a bit.
Piper and Phoebe appeared in a swirl of white lights. Phoebe glanced around then noticed the candle lit grave. “Quick!” The two sisters raced through the semi-dark cemetery. The sun was setting now and a dark shadow fell over the graves.
“Blood which binds, awake and live again, Osiris heed my rhyme,” Anna continued to chant.
Piper raised her hands and froze the two girls. Phoebe rushed over to the book and glanced at it searching for a way to end it. She smiled and reached into the bowl and pulled out the picture and ripped it up. Piper unfroze the girls.
“No!” Anna yelled at the sight of the ripped picture. The candles went out the air was chilly. Suddenly it felt as if everything had come to a stand still. No longer did the air ripple with the slightest movement of the wind. Now the cold could no longer be felt because their bodies were numb. “You just helped his killer!”
“No we saved you from doing something dangerous,” Piper countered coolly. “You two have no idea what you could have unleashed.”
Anna glared at Piper. “Now because of you Alexander will walk free.”
“He will get what he deserves but this isn’t the way,” Phoebe reasoned. “You think that you’d be bringing back your brother but you wouldn’t be. It would look, walk, talk and even remember everything that your brother did but it would be an evil you wouldn’t want to mess with.”
Teresa shook her head. “We only want to bring Alexander to justice. We meant no harm.”
Piper glanced at Phoebe. “We’re lucky we stopped you both before you could cause anything. You two should get home. Don’t try this again.”
Piper and Phoebe lingered for a while after the two girls had left. “Do you think they messed with anything even though they didn’t have time to finish the spell?” Piper asked.
Phoebe shrugged. “Only one way to find out. Cole!”
Cole shimmered into the graveyard. A sly smile spread across his face. “How was the honey moon?”
Phoebe rolled her eyes-she was in no mood to deal with this right now. “We just stopped two girls in the middle of a resurrection spell.”
Cole’s smile faded and his features became grim. “A resurrection spell?”
“Yeah but we stopped them from finishing it,” Piper added matter of fact like.
“It doesn’t matter if you stopped it. The gateway between the dead and living is still open. On this of all night its easier for powerful souls to fight their way back into our realm.” Judging by Cole’s tone of voice, both sisters knew that he was majorly concerned with this. Cole may be shady at times but when something terrible happened, he still made sure to stop it before it could do any more damage. “How long ago did you stop them?”
Piper shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe almost five minutes ago.”
Cole nodded and began to mumble some magic words in a different language as he closed his eyes and placed his hands together in front of him. Phoebe gave a quick glance at Piper. After Cole finished his chanting he opened his eyes slowly.
“What was all that about?” Phoebe asked curiously.
“I just sealed the gateway,” he replied. “You two better get home; especially you Piper. You’re pregnant and if something did escape….you never know if it’ll be coming after you and your sisters.”
End of chapter four

Chapter five
Zoey sighed as she entered the back of P3 where all the deliveries were usually made. Back here was also the only private way to go up to the apartment that rested right above the club. Zoey had to maneuver the box she was carrying in order to fit in the small space between the rail of the stairs and the wall. It was much harder than before because the moon had started to wane and her strength was going faster than it had been the whole day. Now she was like she had been before she became a witch and before she had come into her Amazon strength. She was now a normal girl like everyone else and she hated it because it took her twenty minutes to reach Chris’ apartment.
“Zoey, what are you doing here?” he asked surprised to see her at his doorway.
“I brought back your stuff that I found in my room,” she explained. She glanced down at the box that she had set down.
Chris nodded and helped her with the box and closed the door behind them.
“Is this a bad time?” she asked before moving farther into the apartment. She glanced around; everything still looked the same including the fact that he hadn’t gotten rid of that ugly painting that hung above the couch. “No one else is here, right?”
Chris shook his head, “No, Audrey left.” He looked through the box and pulled out several spell books. “These aren’t mine.” He set them aside and pulled out a t-shirt that he had let her borrow and a few cds along with some other items.
“Yeah, the sisters wanted you to keep them. I think they want you to research things at your place before coming to the manor.”
Chris gave her a look. He sighed. “Well, I have some of your things that I put together. It’s in the room.”
Zoey followed him but didn’t enter the bedroom. She didn’t want to go in there because it was hard enough as it was just having to talk to him when she still hated him for what he did. She instead stood in the doorway and watched him.
“So, how are you holding up?” he asked as he reached up into the closet and pulled down a box that was filled with cds, clothes she had left, books, and miscellaneous items that he had found around the place that belonged to her.
“I feel weak,” she replied simply as she watched him place the box on top of the foot of the bed. The room suddenly became chilly. Zoey shivered, “Is there a window open in here? It’s freezing.”
Chris blinked and his eyes flashed black but it went unnoticed by Zoey. He smiled and shook his head. “No, no window.” He began to hum a song to himself as he stepped closer to her.
Zoey looked at him oddly. “What’s that song? It sounds like the one…” her eyes widened as she recognized the tune. It was I have Eyes only for you and that song was the one Damien would sing to her since they had designated it as their song. “Chris, stop it.” Her voice quivered a bit as painful memories flooded back to her.
Chris laughed. “Why?” he stood behind her and sang the song in her ear. “My love must be a kind of blind love.” He placed his hands on her shoulders and slid them down her arms and to her waist. “Because I can’t tell if we’re in a garden, or crowded avenue.”
“I said stop it,” Zoey repeated turning to face him. “Why are you doing this to me?” She glared at him searching for the answer. She knew Chris knew all about the whole Damien situation-he had been a victim of their relationship, but he also knew how that song sent chills down her spine.
Chris smiled and gently kissed her lips. “Because I’ll always love you tiger,” he said with a sly grin.
“W-What did you just call me?” she asked as she backed away from him slowly.
“What’s wrong tiger? Surprised to see me?”
Zoey gasped and tried to get passed Chris but he blocked her way and grabbed onto her arms. “Let go of me!” she said trying to shove him away from her.
“What’s wrong Zoey?” Chris said viciously. “I thought you loved me.” She again tried to push him away but it was useless. All her strength that she had depended on since she became an Amazon was now gone. She tired to conjure her powers but they were down due to the eclipse. Chris shoved her onto the bed. “You love me still,” he said viciously. “I know you do. We were made for each other Zoey. Just you and me like old times.”
Zoey got up and backed away. “I will never love you Damien.”
Chris shrugged. “Then I guess I’ll just have to make you.” He grabbed her and she screamed and hit him as hard as she could but it didn’t seem to faze him. He laughed at the weakness she displayed. He pushed her down onto the bed and straddled her. He held her arms down above her head with just one hand. His strength was far greater than hers.
Zoey twisted and turned but he hit her across the face. “I know you love me Zoey. Just give in to it.” He began unbuttoning her blouse. She tied to shimmer out but nothing happened. He was too heavy to push off of her and to strong to wiggle out of his grasp. He managed to rip her pink blouse off of her exposing the white bra she wore. He smiled and kissed her collar bone once playfully.
“Stop!!! Please!!” Zoey cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. She twisted and jerked as much as she could but he was too strong. His grip on her arms was like steel.
“Shut up!” he said as she screamed out for help. He punched her this time and then began to put his hands on her thighs. He slid his hands up her skirt and found the waist line to her underwear. He began sliding her underwear down her legs as best as he could with all the jerking about that Zoey was doing. He unbuckled the belt he wore and unzipped his pants. “You will love me Zoey. You just have to give into it.” She spat in his face and he again punched her. “You’re only making this worse than it has to be tiger.”
“Stop it!!” she yelled and when his hand was over her mouth she bit down into his flesh hard. Chris cried out in pain and she was able to push him off of her. In the time she was able to get up and run a little ways. He grabbed her ankle and she tripped. Soon he was on her again and this time he took her underwear all the way off and slid down his boxers. She screamed and scratched him but he hit her again, harder this time. As he tried to part her legs-which she struggled to keep closed, she glanced around and found that above his head was a large lamp. She managed to shake the bed stand and the lamp fell down on top of Chris’ head and knocked him out.
Zoey struggled to push Chris off of her but as soon as she did she ran out of the apartment as fast as she could.
****** “Whoa, hey what happened to you?” Paige asked as Zoey ran into the manor.
Zoey glanced at her and pulled her jacket close. “What happened to your shirt? Where is it?” Paige asked looking at her curiously. She then noticed the deep purple bruise that had begun to form on Zoey’s left cheek. “Zoey, what the hell happened to you?”
Zoey burst into tears and Paige hugged her. “Chris…he’s possessed. Damien somehow got to him but I don’t know how…”
“Shh…”Paige said stroking her hair. She looked into Zoey’s eyes. “We’ll figure this out.” Then Paige then kissed Zoey on the lips.
Zoey just blinked. “What are you doing?”
“It’s alright tiger,” she said as her eyes became a pure black. “I’m here for you.”
Zoey screamed and as she did in a flash of blue and white orbs Leo sent Paige flying across the conservatory. “Are you alright?” he asked turning to Zoey.
“Stay away from me!” she shouted backing up. “Just stay away from me!”
“Zoey, it’s me,” he said walking up to her.
She shrank down and began to shake her head. “No, please…just stay away from me.”
Leo put a hand on her shoulder. “Zoey-”
“Don’t touch me!” she screamed. “Don’t touch me! Please! Please, please, please!”
Just then Piper and Phoebe entered the manor. “What happened?!” Piper asked kneeling beside Paige. Leo again tried to get through to Zoey.
Zoey backed away and rubbed her temples vigorously. “Just stay away! Keep his hands off of me!”
Phoebe glanced at Leo. “What the hell happened?”
“Damien’s spirit was somehow brought out of purgatory,” Leo explained. “I saw him enter Paige’s body. I had to react quickly. She’s ok though.”
Phoebe nodded then turned to Zoey. “But what about her?”
“She’s just shaken up because she knows about Damien.” Leo walked over to Zoey one more time. “Its ok, we’re not going to hurt you Zoey. Believe me.”
Zoey looked up at him with tears in her eyes. Leo hugged her and turned to the sisters. “We need to figure out how this happened.”
“I think we know,” Phoebe said.
“There were two girls in the graveyard trying to resurrect their dead brother,” Piper began. “But by stopping the spell in the middle of it, the gateway between the world and that of the dead is still open and penetrable for a strong spirit to come out. We called Cole and he sealed shut the gateway but we had no idea that something had already been able to get out. Today only made it easier seeing as it is the day of the dead and souls are allowed to come back to earth.”
Just then Cole shimmered into the conservatory. “You’re not going to believe this but Damien somehow managed to get out of purgatory- his soul that is.”
“We know,” Phoebe said glancing at Paige.
“You catch on quick, don’t you Belthazor?” Zoey said with a sly grin. With a wave of her hand she sent Leo flying across the room along with the sisters.

Chapter six
Zoey laughed with pleasure. “What’s wrong Cole, surprised to see me?” she sent Cole flying into the wall which he hit hard causing his vision to blacken for a moment. At that moment Chris orbed into the manor.
Zoey grabbed him quickly by his throat. “I should have killed you a long time ago,” she said in a low voice. Her eyes were a deep violet and had a wild look to them. She tossed him simply into the others. Zoey stumbled and blinked. “What’s happening to me?”
A fire ball lit up in her hand and she threw it directly at Phoebe but Piper blasted it to pieces. She threw another green fire ball but Piper blasted that one too. Zoey blinked. “Leo, what’s happening?”
She then turned on Cole and threw several fire balls at him. Cole deflected each one and caught a few, extinguishing them in his fist. Zoey- as quick as light- ran up to him and picked him up by the throat. “I trusted you!” she yelled and again threw him into the wall. She walked over to him and picked him up by his hair and punched him in the face causing blood to stream down from his nose. “You were my best friend.”
She punched him again. “You were my best man!” She kicked him in the gut. Leo moved forward to her but he was blasted by a powerful gust of wind.
“You said that you’d help me get her back, instead you screwed me over, you son of a b!tch!” Zoey kicked him again and he went flying as if she had kicked a soccer ball. “Instead of being loyal, you betrayed me. You had her with you every second of the day. I asked you to look after her, not fool around with my bride!” Zoey lit an energy ball and was about to throw it at him but she stopped herself. “Cole?” Cole backed away from her and she extinguished the ball. She then threw a black fire ball at him but he caught it and extinguished it. Cole punched her knocking her out.
“I’m sorry for that Zoey,” he said as he picked her up in his arms. “We need to exercise her. Damien’s spirit is like a parasite. Her body will continue to fight it until she dies.”
Piper finished lighting the last candle and blew out the flame on the match. She glanced her sisters and they nodded back at her. “Everyone hold hands,” Piper instructed. “This will help to create an extra barrier between Zoey being in the circle of crystals and the outside.” Piper, Leo, Paige, Cole and Chris held hands. When the circle was formed, Piper began to chant. “We the sisters three, call upon the sacred powers.”
“Help guide us through this darkest hour,” Paige continued.
“Heed our words, heed our call; we call to thee,” Phoebe added. “Through the sands of space and time, give us the power to extract this evil entity.”
Zoey screamed from the center of the circle. She rushed at them but an invisible force field sent her back.
“Keep the circle!” Piper yelled over Zoey’s horrible screams. “We the sisters three call upon the sacred powers,” the sisters chanted in unison. “Help guide us through this darkest hour.” Zoey was on the ground jerking and twisting about. Blood trickled down from her mouth as she continued to scream. Her insides were twisting and turning. Her blood ran hot through her veins. White mists entering in and out of her body appeared. “Heed our words, heed our call; we call to thee, through the sands of space and time, extract this evil entity!”
Zoey screamed horribly. “Now Piper!” Paige yelled. Piper broke the circle and froze Zoey. Zoey’s body fell limp and the black mist that had been in her body was frozen in the air.
“That which is black as night, vanquish it with the purity of light,” Paige said holding up her hand. A ray of white light burst out of the palm of Paige’s hand and hit the black mist and it exploded. Chris rushed over to Zoey and began to heal her.

The streets were a creepy kind of quiet. Nothing moved or made a sound. It was as if all life had ceased. The air was cold and nipped at your cheeks and nose. Even though it was midnight, Zoey laid on the cold grass and stared up at the stars which could be faintly seen.
Chris laid down right next to her and he too stared up at the sky. NO matter how hard things got for Zoey, she always had this place to think, just like he had the towers of the golden gate bridge. “Zoey,” he began. He turned to look at her but she kept her eyes on the sky.
He didn’t know what to say or do. Chris couldn’t recall anything that had happened that night. All he knew is that he had done something extremely terrible because Zoey burst into tears when she saw him when she woke up. “Zoey, what did I do? Please, I need to know what happened.”
Zoey turned to face him. Tears filled her eyes and streamed down her cheeks. “You don’t want to know.”
Chris looked at her, “I need to know Zoey. You flinched when I tried to help you up in the attic and you wouldn’t look at me. Zoey I need to know what happened. I don't like not knowing that I did something to you.”
Zoey was quiet for a long time as she debated with herself whether or not she should tell Chris. “Damien possessed you and…he tried to rape me.”
Chris’ jaw tightened and then his facial features became hard. “Oh god,” he said. He suddenly felt nauseous. “I didn’t…I mean, he didn’t-”
“No,” Zoey said quickly trying to hold back her tears. “It wasn’t your fault Chris.”
Chris shook his head. “Wasn’t it? I was too weak and he was able to possess me without a fight. Not like when he possessed you. You were still there.”
“Christopher Perry look at me,” Zoey said as she lay on her side and forced him to look her in the eyes. “It was not your fault. It wasn’t you that hurt me it was Damien.”
Chris nodded. A slight pause fell between them. More tears streamed down Zoey’s cheeks. “He’s never going to leave me alone, is he?”
“He’s gone for good this time,” Chris said.
Zoey shook her head. “No he isn’t. He’ll always haunt me. I can’t sleep because of him and he’s done so much to me in the past.”
Chris again reached out towards her but then pulled back. Instead, Zoey grabbed hold of his hand in hers and squeezed it gently.Chris kissed her hand.
They again looked back up at the sky and remained that way until the sun began to warm the sky.
******
The court session let out and Teresa and Anna along with the other members exited the court room. Mrs. Rodriguez was weeping non stop and tears stained the cheeks of Teresa and Anna. People hugged them and congratulated them. Teresa nudged her sister and nodded towards the end of the hall where Phoebe and Piper were standing away from the crowd.
“Muchas gracias senoras,” Anna said with a warm smile. “Thank you so much.”
Piper smiled pleasantly at the sisters. “De nada. Just promise us that you won’t go to any extremes like that again.”
Teresa nodded. “Tell Detective Morris that we are forever thankful to him for all his help. That evidence that turned up saved our family.”
Phoebe smiled. “We’ll make sure to tell him.”
Teresa nodded and then she and Anna walked away and rejoined their family.
Piper sighed. “Well this was an interesting past two days.”
“Yes, yes it was. I only wonder what tomarrow holds for us.”
Piper laughed and put an arm around her sister as they walked out into the bright day light. “I don’t even want to know.”
Phoebe laughed. “Same here.”
THe end
