i agree he was fun. and he was good for phoebe. made her smile. he's done alot of other shows too i've seen him every where. from the wild wild west to ............. just every where. and handsome and sexy too...

I liked Drake. Especially when him and Phoebe went back in time. They were sweet together, but still, it wasn't like Phoebe & Cole. But, I still liked Drake.

I think Billy Zane became one of my favorite actors after those three S7 episodes of Charmed. He (and Julian) were really the high point that season, as far as I'm concerned. He just seemed to bring out the best in all the main cast and still have so much charisma left.  After watching him in Charmed, I have a new respect for him whenever I watch Titanic. I'd never really noticed before because 1) he'd been the "villain" and 2) I was more focused on Rose and Jack (so cute!) to notice how amazing Billy really was in the role of Cal, but in retrospect, he does period roles flawlessly ( Titanic, Robin Hood, late 1800's, etc...) And he's a great singer, too. lol I loved the ending of "Show Ghouls." Speaking of, I made a Paige/Drake music video where most of the footage is of "Show Ghouls" with a few other key Prake scenes to the sing Witchcraft, just in case anyone is in need of a healthy dose of Billy Zane (and Rose McGowan). I knew I'd seen Drake before from somewhere. You helped me figure that out. I seen him in Titanic. He was great in that movie.

I loved his character!! at first I couldn't stop thinking "Titanic" because wasn't he the fiance of Rose on the movie?? after I started watching the show though he didn't remind me of that anymore. His character was great.

I loved him so much in these episdoes. I was so sad and depressed when he left. Why didn't they make him regular on the show? He was so unique. What a waste! If you think Billy was cute in these episdoes you just have to see him in Cleopatra to know what cute is. He looked so amazing in that movie, so unreal! There is not one gal that can see him in that movie without wanting to have him!  He is of course a great actor. Very talented. And very charming. |

He is my favorite man of Phoebe's after Cupid from S2. I drool just remembering him singing! And the way he turned PhoeME/Freebie back into my Phoebs for just "Show Ghouls" will make him one of my favorite characters forever! I *so* wish Phoebe had ended up with him instead of Coop!

"The Phantom" 1996, does anyone remember this?
We can all agree that Drake was the most memorable characters for just three episodes. He brought Phoebe out of her funk which she returned right after he left, but for three episodes, the show was fun again.
Coop on the other hand was too much of a doormat. We never see what Coop wanted or what motivated Coop. All he was feeling was what others were feeling, and he only desired what others desired. Coop in the show was like for me, really with much sarcasm. The characater had no sense of self.
Drake is Phoebe's best boyfriend of the whole series, and it was doomed to fail. This says a lot about Phoebe. This is not about the Phoebe in the later series. THis is true of the Character from the start. I could see it from almost the first episode of the show. At least the writers remained true to the core of the character.
Drake was the only boyfirend that had a chance to save her from herself because her love life was always doomed to epic failure, marrying Coop was an epic fail in my view.
Bring back Drake also entailed bringing back Cole in some form. I could see it that Cole enbales Drake to come back, but does Cole do it without any strings attached. Can Cole do it without any strings, does he have any choice on the strings?
Drakes return would have consequences and Cole woulf have to be involved in some way or another, does any one want a story like that?
