Official Drake thread (Billy Zane Era!)

Come on who enjoyed it when Billy Zane guest starred?
What a lovely breath of Fresh air, he was so full of fun. It was good to see Pheebs smile again. Here is a reminder of what he brought to the show when it looked to be flagging slightly.

Yep Billy Zane is cool, he rescued season seven from the boring avatars and brought the show back for a couple of episodes.

He should have stayed, hopefully he'll be back.

he was great and the way he swept Phoebe off her feet...I really enjoyed his character!

That was one character I really wish had stayed around longer. He was great for Phoebe.

I think we all loved the character of Drake not only because he was sexy and fun, but because... well face it girls, how many of us would have done most anything to be Phoebe for those three episodes? I think they should find a way to bring Drake back, fully human, no powers, to be Phoebe's final love interest and the father of her daughter.

i agree, they should bring back Drake, so Pheobe can be happy just like Piper and Paige. that will be a perfect ending to the show. all the sisters married and happy.

I loved the episodes Billy Zane Guest starred in, (I remember him from Titanic) I thought Drake was SOOO funny and charming. Phoebe seemed really happy with him. I liked how he was always kidding around.

I absolutely loved Drake's character; He stole the show the three episode her was in!!

I really liked Drake, while I was watching his last episode I kept thinking they would come up with a way to save him, I was really disappointed. There has been a lack of decent male characters in Charmed and they killed off a good one.

I couldn't agree more. I would of love him to continue being a teacher or help out the charmed ones. If cole wouldn't been more like him. I actually might have like him with PHoebe lol! As it was I hated that Pairing, not the character though!

Drake was absolutely great, and it's funny I just watched Titanic the other day and Billy Zane's character was so evil. It's great how actors can do that!

I agree with the majority, Drake was a great character and I wish he had been the
one to win Phoebe in the end. As we know it was not possible to have the one and
only Cole (Julian) back so in my opinion Drake (Billy Zane) was a great second best.

For a change Brad Kern had an absolutely brilliant idea. And Billy Zane was the perfect person to play the role. In the later series too many of the demons were so one dimensional. It was always the same thing and there didn't seem to be any imagination to them. Drake was not only imaginative but unorthodox as well. It struck me that Billy Zane was having a lot of fun with the character. And I agree if they weren't going to bring Cole back Phoebe should have ended up with Drake. He made a much better impression in the three episodes he was in than Coop did in the entire time he was in the show. Hmmm. Maybe an AU fanfic that brings Drake back? Now there's an idea worth exploring.

I agree, it would have been better if Drake had stayed and be with Phoebe than to pair her up with Coop. Drake made such a good impression on the girls and on the audience in those 4 eppies he was there. I would have loved to see more of him.

And noazmale/jerry, if you're gonna write a fanfic about Drake, I'm definitely gonna read it!

I loved the character of Drake as well. He was so hilariously funny and witty. I wish he would've stayed around longer, as he brightened those three episodes he was in.

But for me, I just didn't like him at all with Phoebe. I actually have an infatuation with a ship called Prake, which is composed of Paige/Drake. I'd never thought of it until a fanfic writer I know decided to invent the first Prake (she coined the shipper name) story. Their personalities are just seem to even each other out so well, IMO. It easily became my second favorite Charmed characters Paige pairing. (Before that, I'd only been won over by Paiglenn and Paidan [Paige/Aidan], who was an original character by another brilliant fanfiction writer.) And then I found a Rose McGowan/Billy Zane photo shoot with amazingly cute Rose/Billy kissing pictures, and my infatuation became even more pronounced:
