Hi everyone!
Sorry if someone has already asked this question but I was wondering whether Jack Sheridan from series two was related to Inspector Sheridan from series seven?

Its just wierd out of all the names in the world they choose the same one for a different character! yes that's true....look at this: Jenny (remember her from S2, Dans neice) -her real name is Paige. Dan-his real name is Greg (Greg the fireman) Jack Sheridan- Inspector SheridanBilly from "Chick Flick" 2x18 or Billy Zane (Drake) - Billie of S8 Jason Simmons(wyatt)- Jason Dean ( Phoebe's once boss and bf). i often wondered that myself... kinda odd... i thought maybe it would come up they were sister and brother or something? never did... altho she was devious i never liked her the actor or the character... didnt care much for him either...

Jack and Inspector sheridan are not related becasue someone in one of the magazines asked that question to Brad Kern and he said they're not.

I just think that they haven't mention it first. Or perhaps they did known it and they simply used it because they like that name. (what I barely believe at myself)

Good catch! It's kinda fun thinking that the two of them (well, three, if you count Jack's twin, Jeff) could be related...could make for an interesting fanfic idea, although I doubt if they meant it to be.
You're right, tho; it's strange how often they repeat names.
It's like the name Matthew. Not sure what to call a guy? Call him Matthew! I mean Matthew Tate (from "The Witch is Back"), Baby Matthew from "Reckless Abandon", not to mention Paige Matthews, Wyatt Matthew Halliwell (who, of course, was named after Paige) and grandson Matthew (who should've been given a first name of his own, the way Henry Jr. should've). I'm *sure* I'm missing a few, because it seemed like in every other episode we ran into a Matthew...
Even Christopher from "The Magic Hour" and of course Chris Halliwell--even Christy Jenkins.
Although catching the repeat of a LAST name...that's VERY good!
I remember when we first met Billie, that I was *CERTAIN* she was going to be PHOEBE's daughter from the future (since that's when she was on her search for her father) named after Billy from "Kill It Before It Dies". Too bad she was just named that so they could use "Kill Billie" and "Kill Billie, Vol 2".
