hey if was being supressed by the source that means that why could pheobe save cole instead of kill cause the source did this to her not cole cause he was possed Excuses for possession is only valid if it is one of them, while Cole was Male and a Demon and therefore unforgivable in the Charmed's Universe' often extreme femministic view....lol Think about it, The first time they tried to vanquish him was because he lied to them, not because he was a demon (though it was used as an excuse) Phoebe was determined that it was Cole, and not the Banchee was killing innocents so she could justify killing him cause He hurt her the second time after he was put under a Spell to kill one of the innocents they were protecting As the Source they vanquished him cause he tried to spit them up and Cole tried to force Phoebe to make a choice (That was really Stupid) In the alternate reality Alternate Phoebe vanquished him in Spite for again personal reasons Men are evil (and if actually demons then even better) and are not forgivable. Think of how many times over they would have utterly killed Leo for what he said or did if he couldn't regenerate...just because they could to "punnish him" and his Male perspective...lol P.S. I'm joking...Laugh.

No you're not.
And let's face it. The Charmed Ones did kill Cole when he was possessed by the Source for personal reasons.

Because by S4, Kern had taken over and he thought it was better to vanquish people you don't like than try to save them. And he'd dummed down the sisters so they couldn't figure out that Cole was possessed. I'm sure the sisters in S1-2 would've figured it out.

julian McMahon got the opportunity to work on nip/tuck and wanted to take it. his contract must have been ending and either julian, or the writers wanted him to leave with a bang. they wanted him vanquished once and for all. thats why he was killed for good in centennial charmed.
sure, it may seem that they still killed cole for no reason when he as the source, BUT, i dont think the regular power stripping, or de-posses-ing potion would have worked against the source/cole. the only way to get rid of the source was to kill cole. and even that did not work.....it came back in phoebe's baby. by that stage, phoebe had made the decision to leave cole, posessed or not.
i agree it is a very female centric show, but hey, usually shows are male centric, so its nice to have a change!

I have read in TWO different magazine articles that Julian McMahon DID NOT know about "NIP/TUCK" until AFTER he had filmed "Centennial Charmed" and left "CHARMED for good.

No, Prue and Piper wanted to vanquish him because they only knew Cole as "Belthazor"...they didn't find out about Phoebe's secret romance with Cole until the episode "Wrestling With Demons."

Actually although the show started female-centric, it didn't stay that way. By S7, Leo was a bigger part of the show than Phoebe or Paige and so were Chris, Wyatt and Zankou. They tried to change that in S8 by bringing in Billie and Christy, but the show was still definitely The Perils of Piper with Piper and Leo as stars, not Phoebe or Paige, who were just co-stars. When at the end, the only ones of the next generation whose names we knew were the boys: Wyatt, Chris and Henry Jr and the only grandchild whose name we knew was Matthew, that shows you how much Kern sabotaged a show that was supposed to be female-centric and made it male-centric.

Well, they knew about her romance with *COLE*; they didn't find out that he was also Belthazar until then, but then she didn't find out about it until later on either. The first time they tried vanquishing him, they were simply vanquishing Belthazar--that's how Phoebe found out that he was Cole.

Right - - but Prue and Piper were led to believe that Phoebe merely vanquished the demon Belthazor in "Sleuthing With The Enemy." They accepted that the person they'd come to know as Cole (up until that point) had been Belthazor in disguise...so Prue and Piper had genuinely viewed Cole/Belthazor as a threat.
ArchAngel acts as though Prue and Piper should have given him the benefit of the doubt at that point...which is just silly.

I agree with you totally on that. The one who was silly was Phoebe--truly Cole had done nothing to deserve her trust by that point. But typical silly Phoebe--just seeing what she wants to see, the same reason she *did* vanquish Cole when she had now decided that he was evil, without realizing that he was indeed possessed.
