After the first few seasons, the opening credits showed Holly Marie Combs "as Piper". Why was her character identified in the credits, while noone else's was?
Also, in the first few seasons, Brian Kraus (Leo) did not get opening credits, yet some minor characters did, such as the daughter of the next door neighbor who was hardly in it at all for the few episodes she was in. Why did she get star billing while he did not?

Okay, as a newcomer, you might wish to pose these questions in the Questions/Comments thread rather than create a new thread and add to the anarchy currently reigning in the Charmed Cafe. Second, these questions have been discussed in several threads.
Brian Krause was not considered a lead actor in Season 1 or Season 2. Jennie was, for a while. Then, the powers that be decided that her inclusion was a really dumb idea and she was dropped as a lead. Thus, even though Nick Lachey starred in as many shows as what's her name (Jennie), his was always a guest role.
The decision to note that Holly Marie Combs was "Piper" came about as the result of discussions her agent had with Spelling Productions. After Shannen left, Alyssa, not Holly was top dog. To compensate for that slight (Holly had been with the show six months longer), she was given the extra credit "as Piper".

The only thinfg I hate about the 8th season is that they changed the opening song. They changed it from"How Soon Is Now" to some song with out any words. They use the same song for 7 years and then on the final season it just changes. it gets meee sooooooo MAD!!!  |

The song theme. Since I started watching Charmed, I had DVR and always fast forward the beginning to get to the show. I have heard the opening before, and last night, I watched season 8 on my Dvd player and I realized they had a different song for season 8. I liked the first one better, but I'm sure they had there reasons for it.
