I found this website when I was searching for another Charmed forum: www.archive.org/web/web.phpAnd when I looked to see if there were any old versions of the Charmed Café I found this. It just brought back so many memories because that's around the time I first joined.  Notice the number of members.  There are more archived versions here if anyone's interested. |

OMG..I was just looking through the RP section a few days ago with a friend. That was the most active section at the Cafe. So many good times. So many memories. Sadly, too many things changed when it moved to proboards. Although, I'm now the Admin of The Cafe, so I don't know if I can really complain about the change...lol. But, wow. I miss that place and those RPers. It was my home. Edit: Here's the actual link to what's left of The (old) Charmed Cafe. Of course, only the RPs and Fan Fic forums remain, but it's great fun for the RPers to look back on. |

Aw, I know what you guys mean. I was with the Old Cafe for so long that when the new one opened, I didn't even join for several months because I wasn't very happy about the switch. (I'm not a big fan of change. lol)
It's a real shame, though, because they lost so many members when they switched. And a lot of good ones at that.

OMG!!! I was just looking through those old Forums..... I was checking through some of the fan fics and I saw my very first fan fic that I ever published!! A Daughter's Revenge by Charmed Addict! That was my old name!!! Charmed Addict!!!! Oh man... the memories....

Wow. I didn't belong back then but it's still cool to go back and look at everything. And man did that RPG board look sweet. I wish everyone here would participate that much.

That was a long time ago. I wasn't really an active member back then, hey I'm still not now - but I used to love just sitting reading fan fiction and roleplays and to be honest it wasn't until I moved here that I actually joined in. I was dantay when I moved here and back at Ezboard, I think it was the same, I'll have too root around and check. Good times. |

OH! The old Cafe! That was SOOO much fun! This one is, too, but ezBoard let you do so many things like different formats for each board and all the wonderful emoties and, oh, so many things! It's too bad that you can't see all of those things from this archive. I tried and no such luck.
I understood why the Cafe went over to proBoards...having to pay to keep the site gold was a major pain and it kept screwing up posts...but I still loved the extras.
Naturally, while you guys were dreaming over the RPGs, I was dreaming over the Fics and also authors that I remember and that I haven't seen around Charmed sites in so long. That was the worst thing when we first moved over to proBoards...it only had a 10,000 character limit which was HORRIBLE for fics! Part of the reason why I left for awhile and part of the reason why I came back was when they changed that.
I was disappointed that you couldn't get into the discussion threads, only the Fanfic and RPG ones, since they're still part of the old site. It would've been interesting to see what all we were discussing back then, during S6, although I can probably guess...Chris, Chris and MORE Chris! *rolls eyes*
I smiled that I could still get into my old profile and saw that I had joined on Valentine's Day 2004! So I've been a member of the Cafe for almost 5 years. Wow!

Well even just some of the people we had here back in 2005 were just awesome, Nite owl, GThe4thCharmedOneR, Leigh, Alchy and yingyang spring to mind. GT4THCOR's a Different Side is still one of my favourite fics of all time, it was simply beautiful, that and Alchy's Heiress of Magic.
Even some of the old staff like Angel and Bite Me. It's such a shame all these beautiful didn't stick around.

I miss the RPers, but then again, I ended up burning out. I don't RP anymore. And I still talk to my girls, so it's not all bad.
