i am having trouble in working out how the transition from season 3 in to 4 came about i dont quite understand about how Piper survived the death scene at the end of season 3 but prue didnt there is no showing piper surviving but prue dying it didnt quite get the whole thing please enlighten me my email is [e-mail]

They don't show us Piper getting saved and Prue dying. That's just how the show transition from season 3 to season 4.

They fired Shannon just before season 4 was to start.
