So, why don't you start two new threads? One on Dark Vengeance and the other on the Evil Garden. However, the Evil Garden is one of the few that I neither possess nor have read.

The Charmed books will continue, so long as there is a buying audience. However, I've read, on another thread, that the frequency of their publications may slow down from every two to every four months. Not sure if this is due to a lack of potential novels, since the show ended, or just the expectation of reduced sales by the publisher. Either way, I like them. They are easy reads, we know the characters, and mostly, the authors get them right (in that you can see them saying and doing the things in the book), but not always. There are mistakes, here and there, and they are still catching up with the show's finale timeline. Chris has not been born yet. In fact, few, if any, have adult Chris yet. Can't remember, it's too late.
Anyway, I'm reading the latest now, Phoebe Who, and it's not bad, so far. The last two, House of Shards and (I can't recall its name) used past concepts from the show as their main story. Meaning, they were not as original as other stories have been, so less interesting. Phoebe Who is not like when Leo had his memory taken away, but a little similar in that those who have done so, have ulterior motives for her. One other story line, which has been used to an extent before, is the collecting of several amulets, which when brought together, will make the bearers invincible. Sound familiar?

Just finished Phoebe Who and it was not bad. The ending was exciting, though, as with all the books, and each episode on the show, they resolve the crisis favorably, for them. This doesn't give anything away, as we expect this to happen in every book, unless the writer is doing a two or more book series, which is something yet to be seen. The writing is not bad, though the formula, noted above, is the one constant in every book as they each try to be like an episode of the show.
The time period seems to be post Wyatt, pre baby or adult Chris. No Darryl scenes, but a minor mention of him, if I recall correctly. Leo has a fairly minor role in the story, which is disappointing. However, there is the appearance and mention of a number of magical creatures. Similar in concept to the sword in the stone episode crossed with the one in which they fight Zankou.
Anyway, without giving more away, as it is the latest book on the market, it does a good job with both the sister's characters as well as their adversaries.
