Coming out in November is the Book of Three Vol. 2! It's gonna have stuff that wasn't in Vol. 1 like stuff from seasons 6-8, do it yourself spells, interviews and more! I totally can't wait for it!

Yeah and in the middle they have like picture of a bunch of the main characters and they show like how they've changed since season 1 or in Rose's chase season 4. It was really nice they even have like little explanations and definitions under every big demon that ever had a name like Zankcu or Barbus or even Shax and defiently the source both of them(uhem cough cole cough uhem)

It's actually "The Book of Three, Volume 2" by Diane Gallagher et al. Diane, I believe, will appear on the Season 8 DVD.

If it's anything like the first "book of three" then it's horrible!
There's so many mistakes in it, I stopped using it.
To name a couple big ones:
restore the charmed ones powers: Spell is written wrong
putting Alyssa/Phoebe first in the profiles section when she is not the first sister seen, the eldest sister, or the matriarch of the family.

I got Volume 2 for Christmas, and I love the color photos...especially the one of Wes and Drew with their arms around each other. I think they should have taken a "family photo" (during the filming of "Forever Charmed") with Holly, Alyssa, Rose, Brian, Finola, Jennifer, James, Wes, Drew, Simon, and Victor.
Is The Book of Three: Volume 1 worth buying? I've heard that it contains a written family tree of the Warren ancestors, which I would really like to have.

Yes, it is well worth owning. If you liked the pictures in Volume 2, you'll love the ones in Volume 1, especially since there are pictures of both Prue and Paige in the same book!
Elder, it seems like you wish to throw the baby out with the bathwater. So what if Phoebe is portrayed first? That's a personal quibble, it does not reflect on accuracy. Now spells rendered wrong, that's a different matter. Should such errors have been picked up in editing? Sure. Does it always happen? No.
Imagine, if you will, a text that we are using to teach 8th graders Algebra. Published by the Carnegie Endowment, this "bridge to algebra" contains a whole section allegedly describing division by fractions. The whole mess is absolute crap. The math is wrong. The concept is screwed up in every way possible. And this passed muster before a review panel and editors and was widely published? Good lord. Still, I don't want to throw the book out completely. I just know to avoid that section.
As for the Book of Three - either volume - if there are points in error, this is the place to post them - well, not in this thread! This was we all become more sophisticated readers. It's called "raping" a text, but that's a matter for another day!

One of the reasons I asked is because I'm trying to construct my own version of the Warren Family Tree...and with all of the information I've been able to find online, there appears to be a century-long generational gap between Cassandra and Brianna.

Don't know where you're from but I find that Borders has a better selection than Barnes and Noble. The Hastings chain in the Mountain West and Southwest has good selection. Of course, Amazon has them all: new and used! I still am trying to track down two: Date with Death and the Gypsy Enchantment. It's fun going from city to city in search of them in bookstores. Last week I found Haunted by Desire at Borders. Wow! This is especilly bizarre since they were out of stock on House of Shards and had but one copy of Phoebe Who?
Triquetra I would order through amazon. I would also order the Book of Three Volume 2 and the Book of Three from there as well, although I found Power of Three in a Borders in Denver. Totally Charmed is worth ordering too!

I forgot to mention the Book of Shadows. Make sure you order the correct title. There is a book titled the Book of Shadows by James Reese. This is a great book on a 19th century witch (we presume). The one you want is also called the Book of Shadows but it is written by N. E. Genge.

Now spells rendered wrong, that's a different matter. Should such errors have been picked up in editing? Sure. Does it always happen? No. I'm not bashing the printing company or the writers by mentioning the spells written wrong, but it just makes sense to be accurate if they will call the book I believe something like "the official companion". To me that should indicate making sure it's all accurate. I only complained about that because a while back, there was this game show called "jeopardy" and the correct response to one of the clues was "The Perfect Storm" The player said "A Perfect Storm" and was given credit for a correct answer. WHAT?! Changing the one word totally changed the title. There is no book or movie called A perfect storm. I know it's just a TV show, but if the spell was written wrong in the book of shadows, it wouldn't have worked! The misprint was in the spell to restore the powers to the sisters.

Jeopardy has really regressed, hasn't it? In days of old, that would have been a fatal error! Holy Don Pardo!
