It was just stated in an interview on Lifetime that Holly got the book after talking it over with Brad. All the cast members were in agree with Brad that Holly should take the book! Lucky Her! Thank goodness! I would've had a fit if Brad had gotten it. He doesn't deserve it after the crap he pulled with the show. In contrast, Holly was completely dedicated to it. (Even in "The Power Of Two," when she had to have surgery and was cut out of most of the episode, she still managed to make an appearance. In fact, she was the only cast member there for every episode of the series (something not even Alyssa can say, since she wasn't in the original pilot), so Holly definitely deserves the Book, hands down. ;D Congrats to her! |

FC: Do you have a link to that Lifetime interview? The reason I ask is because Brad Kern stated in a very recent interview, which appeared in the Charmed magazine, that he got the book because he was the one who wrote the spells in it for many years. Since it was a prop, important as it was, there may have been more than one complete book (in case of accidents or due to the shooting schedule) and the discussion may have been over which book went to each of them. If there really was, by the end, only one book, then the timing of when the Lifetime interview is significant.
If it was recorded some time ago, it may only be airing what she wanted. If it was new, then there may have been a change.
Who deserves it more is a subjective matter. Depends on who you ask. BK was very specific on how he argued with HMC over the book but that HMC took another momento from the set instead. If HMC was still looking at this or her own website, then the question may get answered more fully.

As i have heard Brad got the book, which is horribbly wrong! Holly so deserves the book, she has been through the most through out the show and had to use the book quite frequentlly. Maybe Brad wrote most of the stuff in the book but Holly used the book in the show and Holly has more to connect to with it than Brad does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm glad she's got the book.
But i hope that the other two get an replica of the book.
I want the BOS to, but i come from The Netherlands so if i something want to buy on Ebay it will be very difficult.

I am glad she got the book. She really deserves it. On the charmedones.com website they have the bos online. you can look up spells and demons. I would also like to know where you can purchase a bos for a resonable price.

Guys: You're not reading the previous posts correctly. HMC did not get the book of shadows, Kern took it. Not sure what HMC took as a momento of the show. I think, if it was still around, Rose M. would have taken the P3 sign. AM would probably be interested in some of the props that had to do with premonitions. Not sure what HMC would take.

instead of getting the huge version, try what i did - buy one of the blank books, then go to a cheap site like www.freewebs.com/charmedebookand buy the pages to stick in! |

How many of those pages can you find on that site? cause i dont think all of the pages of the bos are on it ...  there's another thing, i think most replicas on ebay are blank ... or not? Xxx Blessed be |

I think that is probable that both book were in a place like a charmed museum. Because it's a very well known serie and may be the film agency want to collect all the things in the serie to be shown. But really I dunno.

my mum actually thinks that they should of opened a charmed musuem and have all the props and costumes throughout the eight years in there.
I actually think that they should of made three book of shadows for each of the girls to take as a memory of eight great years of charmed

I would love to just skim through the pages of the BOS. where does Kern live? hahaha. I have also seen the replica's and wanted one, but it's to steep for me.

I'm getting a great replica cover in a few weeks. Then I'm going to print of the pages and age the paper. There are really great replica's but you won't find them on ebay. The real book has been drawn by three artists: season 1 - 2x13: Carol Wood (you can actually see her autograph on two pages) 2x14 - 7x22: Dan Haberkorn season 8: Derek Baron Dan Haberkorn actualy sells about 60 pages from the real book and also a few pages from magic school books, the heroes-drawing and Piper's fairytale book drawings. If Charmed were real, seeing that in their family witch craft is passed on to all the girls in the Holliwell Family, the next daughter from the eldest Holliwell ( Which would be Piper), would receive the Book of Shadows. Thats how real witches would do it if they had a family tradition. Being a High Priestess myself, you learn these things after a while
