I found a site to vote on the best tv shows around the world. I could not belive charmed was #27. You can vote every 60 min. Fan sites for other showes are having fans vote every hour every day. If we do not get together and vote we are going to be off the list soon. The site is richlabonte.net/tvvote ;D ;D ;D |

Yesterday we went up 153 votes, but Firefly went up 1172 votes. Keep up the good work.  After you vote there is a link to see the daily totals. It is under the timer. It does not have the day befor, so you have to write the # down and subtract it tomorrow. It only updates once a day around noon. |

If you take a look at all the "instant polls"-all the categories that Charmed was placed into, it was always placed towards the top spot (out of many).
For the question of, which recently cancelled show should be given a second chance?
Charmed ranked #1.
Another question...Best leading actress?
Holly Marie Combs ranked #2.
So go check out the past "instant polls."
And vote for Charmed as your favorite Feb. DVD release for S7, at the "instant polls." It currently ranks in third!

Charmed shouldn't have won show given a second chance. Seasons 4 was a second chance. Season 7 was a 3rd chance and 8 was a 4th. It was given wayyy too many and should have gone after season 6.

And your point would be...your opinion. No one would argue the show had better episodes, on average, in the earlier years, but that's not a reason for it to go away. (My opinion). If it had had more studio support, season 7 would not have been as unsteady and season eight would have had a better budget, better writing, characters (guests), and so on. It's just a matter of what could have been, only if. The proof of this is seen in the last two episodes in season 8.

Um, I don't remember addressing you directly when I was saying that. And I'd hardly call season 6 an earlier season. It was just the last good one.
And lack of studio support may be a cause for the budget, but it sure as hell didn't cover the bad writing. No one forced them to write bad episodes or weak storylines. They did that because they were out of ideas.
And the only proof that is seen in those last 2 episodes is that they no longer have an excuse for bad writing. It they were able to pull off those last 2 episodes, why couldn't they have done that the whole time? No excuse.
