FAQ on signatures

Hey guys, i have had alot of emails as of late asking if i can help them add signatures to their posts so i have set up this thread here so that you can all look and add different things.


Signatures on Posts

Go to your profile and go to signature down at the bottom and enter

[*img]url of pic[/img]

Thats will put your signature onto all of your post, But it will be aligned on the left to center your sig put this in

[*center][*img] url of pic[/img][/center]


Text on signatures

If you want text for your signature, then you can just write what ever you would like to appear in the signature box in your profile...


to make it bold then use [b*]text........[/b]
Example: Bold stands out loads

to make it centered use [center*]text........[/center]
Example:

am i in the middle

to underline the use [u*]text [/u]
Example: underline is ok for an impact

to make it marquee.. ie move the use [*move]text [*/move]
Example: see watch me dissapear and reappear...



Before using any of these tips .. please remove the * as that was placed there so i could show you the codes!... lol

Just wanted to make that stand out cuz I was seeing some codes on signatures with the * on them lol

hey..this is a sig i made with your help...but it wont display as a sig, i have to paste it as a pic every time and i typed in the right stuff in my signature box and it didnt work..can you please tell me why.

First you need to save it as an image. If you save it as htm or html, that's a website code, and won't show up as an image. Once you've saved it as .jpg or .gif, upload it again. It should work.

does anyone know the code to put a link onto an image? You know when you click an image and it takes you to a link? i've been tryin a few but i can't get it to work lol

How do I put a URL link and make it open with a new window? Like you would when you post a new link!

Anybody have suggestions on sites to go to to find the banners with writing on them? I like them a lot.

Prue, people make the banners...ask someone to make you one..if you take one from a site that doesnt say you can, thats stealing and you can get into quite a bit of trouble.

I have read them and haven't found a strait answer. All I see is people saying, " Oh yeah, you can just make them.". So excuse me for going to a thread talking solely about signitures and stuff to find out.

People use programs like Photo shop and such. They are graphic programs.
