Alyssa's Future Career News

[Assassin Witch]

Now that Charmed is over, what will Alyssa Milano do now? She spent eight years playing 'Phoebe Halliwell', but I'm sure that isn't all she has. Will she return to TV or the big screen? If you have any news on Ms. Milano's plans, please share them with us here.

Alyssa is currently set to star in a new TV series called Reinventing the Wheelers. She will play a successful attorney, who leaves her law firm in the city to move back home in the Deep South, called Annie Stevens. If this gets picked up, it should be shown on the channel, ABC.

She is also going to be in two new films, which are going to be released this year. One is called Pathology, in which she plays a character called Gwen. She will be starring along sideMilo Ventimiglia, Johnny Whitworth, Lauren Lee Smith and Dan Callahan. It is about a group of medical students who devise a deadly game: to see which one of them can commit the perfect murder.

The other is called The Blue Hour. She plays a young woman, named Allegra. The film is about several strangers in Los Angeles who weave their stories of loss and hope, not knowing that their lives have brushed up against each others in small but sometimes profound ways. They have just finished the filming of this film, and it should be released this fall.


EDIT: Unfortunately Alyssa's Tv show, Reinventing the Wheelers, wasn't picked up.

oh i am so sad that her show did not get picked up. i hope she can find work on another project.

Yeah unfortunately that didn't get picked up either. That was her first one, before Reinventing the Wheelers, ABC don't know what they are on about

I am looking foward to seeing both those movies she is starring in. I am really sad that Reinventing the Wheelers didnt get picked up. That seemed like it was going to be good from what i heard.

Yeah, they even released season promos and episode pictures But the films seem to sound really good so I hope they do well

Hi guys... Just a quick note to let you all know that “Reinventing The Wheelers” has NOT been picked up. I wanted you to read it from me, rather than in the press. It seems that with the ABC shows “Brothers And Sisters”, “October Road”, and the Grey’s Anatomy spin off, there was just no room for a new female driven show on the fall line up.

My only sadness is that you guys won’t get to see it. It’s really a special pilot and I think you would have loved it. Maybe someday it will be leaked to the Internet. ;-)

I am a little disenchanted by the process but have faith that everything happens for a reason.

i saw alyssa today in a commercial for veet. her hair is longer now so pretty... could be hair extensions... but however she looked so pretty and i was glad to see her doing something........... even if it was a commecial lol

Too bad about the show. It seemed to have such a strong cast and the way TV works, it's not as if they could run it next year as the cast members will be moving on to other opportunities.

I read the note on AM's safesearching site, under her blog area. It was a very sweet note, primarily aimed at her fans, as opposed to an announcement. Even given all the female based shows she noted, I would think that such a strong cast would have still made a show worth watching. Although I've seen very good shows, for example Studio 60, fall to the ratings ax, this show sounded like it had a lot of potential. This seemed to be a late decision on the network's part, too. Anyway, I guess it is back to square one for AM, where TV is concerned. A bad call by the network. Ironically, for the complementary reason, a Charmed Sons spinoff was probably not considered due to other male driven shows of a similar genre, like Supernatural.

did you all hear that there maybe a jewelry line that miss milano will do to go with the TOUCH clothing. i heard or read about it on her MLB blog.

More interested in her next acting role. With her show not picked up, what she has coming out is a movie, Pathology and her line of athletic clothing for women. She also just co-hosted the MLB All Star party, prior to the game, with Nick Lachey (who we all know was on Charmed for several episodes). She had about three seconds (literally) of face time on Access Hollywood, but more was picked up on the web.
