you were right melissa it was on tonight at 8pm. I recorded it to a dvd so i can watch it whenever i want lol. But i actually didnt get to sit down and watch it yet. Was to busy believe it or not watching the cutting edge movies lol. i will get to it hopefully this week. I need to stay away from this thread so i dont know what happens in it lol.

How did you burn it to a dvd? Cuz i recorded it on my DVR and i've been trying to figure out how to put it on a dvd but i don't know how.

its a dvd recorder thing i have by LG. I can record onto a dvd anything from the tv. Just like a vcr used to i can do the same with the dvd. Still havent watched it yet tho. Watched I Am Legend instead lol.

I dont get the channel since i live in Scotland but i downloaded it and i loved it!! She is such a great actress i have to favs and she is one of them. I loved her character, and like i saw some of you have been saying her hair. Its nice that long style!! Cant wait to see some more of Alyssa.

I just watched Wisegal yesterday, having recorded it on the 15th, but just got a chance to view it. Overall, it was a good, but certainly not great movie. AM's role was interesting and I think she did a fine job going toe to toe with her costars, including James Caan, who is an excellent actor. The story is supposed to be based upon a true story, which means Hollywood took whatever liberties they wanted with it. The cutting of the movie left it a little disjointed, giving you the feeling that a fair amount of footage wound up getting cut. Still, AM did a good job of portraying a mother who does what she has to, even making a deal with the devil, so to speak, to take care of her family after her husband dies fairly young from a heart attack. I think this was a very good vehicle for her using her talents such as being sexy, spirited, and no nonsense, when she has to be. Whether, in true life, the person she portrayed made it as cleanly out of "the mob" as she did, is unknown to me. I suspect there's a book somewhere on which this is based, but I didn't see it in the parts of the credits I watched.
What always annoys me with films, whether they're on TV or the big screen, is that they show trailers with clips of scenes that don't make it into the final cut of the movies. This one is no different. For example, there is a clip in the advertised trailer, of AM walking (all dressed up and obviously shopping) with several men in tow carrying her bags. Never saw it in the film, unless I missed the scene. I think the final cut wanted to keep the concept that she did what was necessary without enjoying the life of (or spoils of) crime too much, so they cut some stuff out showing when she was having just a bit too much fun with her new found money and stature. Just an opinion as I think too much of that would have taken away from the message of the movie. Anyway, this just goes to show that everyone's a critic, me being no exception.

No that was in the film, it only flashes up for a second, it only shows the same as in the promo for the film near enoght Kinda off topic but has anyone saw Pathology yet? I know Alyssa is in it but i couldn't go see it as its an 18 and im only 15, if anyone has saw it, what did you think? |

I'm surprised there's no mention in this thread yet of AM's new series. It was picked up by Celebrity Loop that a new series called Single with Parents starring AM was picked up by a major studio. There's more info in IMDB.com in her list of shows and appearances.

She's in a movie called Wisegal starring James Caan. I highly recommend it. It's a very good movie. I've seen it like twice. That's how good it is.

I won't give away the ending or such, just to say AM was reasonably good in her role, which was mostly part of the supporting ca,st. However, I can see why it wasn't released for a while. Tough to watch some scenes, unless you're into a little more horror type flicks than I am.
On another note: Anyone have any info on "The Blue Hour". It's a movie listed in AM's filmography on IMDB.com, but I can find no trace of it anywhere else. It's not on Netflix and not out on DVD there's this whole entry on it on IMDB.com. Any of you AM die hard fans have any insights into this movie? Thanks.

Apparently, the series AM was going to star in, Single with Parents, had it's plug pulled by ABC. That's the second pilot in a row that got pulled for AM. Not sure if this is typical for many TV actors, as we tend to follow the Charmed stars more carefully than most others. Anyway, that's the latest report and it also appears on the main page of this website.

Looks like AM is going after one more TV show. She noted this on her own website. Some sort of comedy where she plays the love interest who her potential has choose between her or his controlling mother. Anyway, they are working the pilot and even she used the phrase, on her site, that she hopes that third times the Charm.

unfortunately seems like everything she is to be in gets cancelled lately. that sucks. did see her in wisegal. theres to be another series with her in it as a single mom soon? guess we'll have to sit and wait. until then i'll keep watchin re-runs of charmed on tnt
