A/N: Ok everyone-- this is one of the only fanfics that I have started that I have felt was halfway good enough to post... so let me know what you guys think.
So here goes:
It was the year 2025 and the Haliwell sisters were up in the attic starting the preperations for the"Transfer of Destiny" ceremony that they were going to be performing at the end of the week. Wyatt, Chris, and their cousin Katelin were finally ready for the responsibility that came with not only being the next generation of Charmed Ones, but also the next generation of Haliwells.
As the girls were just finishing putting the last candle on the altar along with the other ritual items, one of the Elders orbed into the Attic in a beautiful awray of gold and silver lights. Once she finally became corporial; she is relieved to see that all three of the girls are together in the same room, this way she could tell them the bad news while they were all there, together. "Thank goodness you three girls are all here" Elder Karlie said. "I have something of great importance to talk to you about."
"Sure Karlie, what's the problem?" Phoebe asked.
"Well," Karlie started, "Have you girls ever heard of the 13 Ghosts of Kane?" The girls each got a kind of confused look on their face and then Piper speaks up; "well I remember that our Grams used to tell us a story of a similar name, but we just thaught that is all that they were.... just stories." As Piper was saying this, both of the other girls looked as though they remembered what Piper was talking about at the same time.
"Those weren't just any run of the mill stories.. The main character of those stories is quite real and a definate threat. And as the story goes, these spirits have been caged up in a magical jail type of entrapment somewhere in the Ukraine Mountain Range. The only way for these spirits to be let loose, is for someone to go and let him loose, or for the magic that is helping encase him to somehow be shut down. And whomever let's these spirits out, has like a supernatural hold on his one true soul and can make any request of the spirits that he deems fit. So the spirits can go after whoever and whatever he is told to."
"Ok, so basically what you are trying to tell us, is that you think that somebody might have set these spirits free?" Paige asks. "Well actually, we know for a fact that these spirits have been let loose. And the reason that we know this is because we have had something like an alarm type of thing set up around his cage to go off and let us know if he has gotten out. And the only ones that can hear this alarm, are those of us "up there"..." Karlie informs the girls...
"So you set up something like what the banks use when they are being robbed? Only instead of it alarming the police to a break-in, it alarms you guys of a break out... " Piper says, thinking out loud. "Ok, so what do you need us for? I mean, what can we possibly do to help?" asks Paige.
"Well, that is what I was hoping that you guys could figure out. Maybe use Chris' connections that he has in the underworld to see if they might have any leads or anything. Do you think that you guys could help?
