Wyatt pulled into the driveway in a new truck. Well it was new to him; he found an ad in The Bay Mirror “Used 2018 truck rebuilt good condition”. He thought this would be the perfect Christmas gift to give his younger brother Chris. They both inherited a love of all things mechanical from their father. He taught them all they knew about cars and trucks. The brothers could fix up the truck with no problems. It was only 7 years old but it had been beaten up due to the previous owner using it to haul construction equipment in.
Wyatt climbed out of the truck and entered the house. “Chris, are you home?” he called out in hopes his brother was still at work. After all, Wyatt did want to keep the surprise until Christmas, which was still 2 weeks away. After receiving no answer from Chris, Wyatt went to the garage to clear a nice large space for the truck. He orbed the overly large toolbox that was once his father’s into the back corner then orbed a few boxes to the large closet in his room, which once was used, as his nursery by his parents. After he cleared a space large enough for the truck he hurried out to get the truck inside the garage.
Knowing Chris never went into the garage, (what reason would he have to after all?) Wyatt felt the truck was safely hidden for Christmas. Wyatt was so excited that he went inside to call Bianca and tell her all about it.
“Oh, Wyatt he’ll love it!” Bianca yelled into the phone. “Now I know what to get him.” “And what would that be?” Wyatt asked.
“Accessories of course.” Bianca laughed.
“Of course!” Wyatt chimed in laughing along.
Chris orbed in to the kitchen where his brother was on the phone, and laughing, which Wyatt did too often. “Hey bro, what’s so funny?” Chris inquired.
“Oh, gotta go Chris is home, see you soon.” Wyatt said hurriedly and hung up the phone.
“Who was that?” Chris wondered aloud.
“Santa.” Wyatt answered teasingly. “Oh sure.” Chris said annoyed at his older brother who seemed to always pick on him. After all, their mother who was one of the famous Charmed Ones had met every magical creature anyone had ever heard of and Santa was never mentioned among them. Surely his Mom or any one of their ancestors would have put him in the family book of shadows.
“Is Bianca coming for dinner on Christmas Eve or Christmas day?” Wyatt interrupted his little brother who seemed to be angry.
“Eve I think.” Chris blurted out wanting to get away from Wyatt. Chris walked to the fridge and began to rummage through it looking for items to make a sandwich. “Are you inviting anyone?” Chris asked not being able to stop himself from rubbing in the fact that Wyatt hadn’t found “That certain someone” their Aunt Phoebe had always said they were destined to find and love for the rest of their lives.

“No. No one special.” Wyatt replied slightly wounded. Chris did like to throw it in face whenever he was angry with Wyatt and he knew it. “What’d I do this time?”
“Nothing.” Chris replied. He placed the bread and turkey on the counter and went back to fridge.
Wyatt went to his room and began to wonder if his younger brother even liked him. Chris always seemed to be so angry with him and Wyatt never knew why. Chris was always so closed when it came to Wyatt. “Maybe he blames me for Mom’s death.” He said. “I’ve got it!” Wyatt thought excitedly. He then rushed upstairs to the attic.
The next morning Wyatt was in kitchen making coffee and Mom’s Famous Omelets. Chris walked in. “Smells good.” Chris grumbled still trying to wake up.
“Good morning sleepy head.” Wyatt said tossing an orange at his brother who caught it easily. Years of little league baseball and peewee football didn’t hurt Chris’ hand eye coordination. “Omelet?”
“Thanks” Chris accepted his brother’s offer. “Working today?”
“Yea, you?” The two brothers always had this morning small talk. Wyatt felt that this was probably the only time they were really civil to each other. He hoped the gift he bought for Chris would change that. He saw how close his mother was with her sisters and longed for that kind of closeness with Chris. He didn’t know but Chris wanted that too. “I’ve decided to make Christmas Eve a party. I hope you don’t mind. I was just thinking…”
“I don’t mind. It wouldn’t matter if I did, since you decided and didn’t ask me.” Chris interrupted. “Can we not fight please? I haven’t made any plans. I was only thinking about it. I thought we could invite Aunt Phoebe, Charlotte, Aunt Paige, and Penny. They are our family too. It just felt right to have them over for the holidays is all.” Wyatt defended himself against his brother’s outburst.
“Sorry. Yea lets do that. Bianca still invited?” Chris felt bad for snide remark.
“YES! Aunt Phoebe did say…” Wyatt began.
“Yea, yea. I know already. I’m just not sure I’m ready for that.” Chris said cutting brother off not wanting to hear about his aunt’s premonition that he would marry the Phoenix, Bianca.
“You’re still young bro. No rush. I can still think of her as family whether you want to yet or not. She’s good for you Chris. I see how happy you are when she’s around.” Wyatt said not trying to upset his brother again.
“I’d better go. I got things to do. Thanks for breakfast man.” Chris said he orbed out. What Chris didn’t say is that he was going to hunt for a Christmas gift for Wyatt.
After Chris knew Wyatt would be at work, he orbed home with a large package that he had gift wrapped at the store. He hid it in his room where Wyatt never dared tread for the mess he had accumulated all over his room. Wyatt, unlike himself, was a neat freak like their Mom. Neither of them could stand for thing to be out of place. He was more like his Aunt Paige, care free and whimsical. He and his older brother couldn’t be less alike if they were the North and South Pole.

Chris orbed to Bianca’s house to spend his day off with the woman he loved more then life itself. Bianca worked from home and lived comfortably although she wasn’t wealthy. She had a nice apartment though it was rather small. Chris asked her to move into the manor with them but she refused. Bianca didn’t know about the premonition of her marrying Chris, but she hoped one day that it would happen. Until then, she didn’t want to live as husband and wife. Besides, Chris had too many issues he had work out with his older brother who also lived there and she didn’t want to be in the middle of their tension. “Hey sweetie. How’s your day going?” Chris asked as he orbed in.
“Great and yours?” Bianca said and she tilted her head for a kiss.
“Not bad. I just spent the better part of 4 hours looking for just the right gift for Wyatt. I hope he appreciates it, though I’m sure he’ll just joke about it then orb it away somewhere to never be seen again.” Chris replied.
“Oh, honey I’m sure he’ll love whatever you got him. He does love you whether you believe it or not. He just doesn’t know how to show you.” Bianca said trying to mediate.
“Well no one would ever know it by the way he treats me. But I’m not here to talk about him. Let’s go to lunch.” Chris said.
“I can’t. I uh, got some errands to run. I have some shopping of my own to do you know.” Bianca smiled.
“Okay.” Chris said. “Are you coming over on Christmas Eve?”
“Sure. I wouldn’t miss it.” Bianca answered hoping she wasn’t that she really didn’t want to be there alone with the two brothers who seemed to never talk unless they were arguing.
“Good. Wyatt has planned a party with our Aunts and cousins there. It should be fun.” Chris reassured his love knowing how uncomfortable she is when alone with him and Wyatt. Chris gave Bianca a kiss he then wrapped his arms tightly around her orbed home leaving her standing there alone.
“I hate when he does that.” Bianca said with her arms around nothing and kissing air. She dropped her arms to her side and then put her work away and ventured out to start her shopping.
Back home, Chris grabbed a slice of pizza from the fridge, leftovers from the night before, and then went to his room. Chris began to orb things around with one hand while holding his pizza in the other. He wanted to get his room cleaned a little so as not to hear Wyatt complain about what a pig he was; Although, Wyatt would most likely complain any way. Chris was humming Christmas carols and orbing things around to the beat of whichever carol he was humming. A tall man in gold and white robes who orbed in and accidentally got hit in the side of his head by a large pile of clothes interrupted him.
“I’ve gotten better greetings.” The man said throwing the clothes on the floor.
“Oh, sorry about that. What’s up? Elders just don’t orb down here for no reason.” Chris said wearily.
“We have sensed something wrong and we need your help to correct the dilemma.” The Elder replied.

Chris orbed the clothes that were surrounding the Elder to the clothes hamper and sat on his bed. “Sure thing Wyatt will be home soon.”
“Good because this will require the both of you. It seems several upper level demons have joined together and began killing several magical creatures. We think they are trying to stop Christmas. Christmas is the time of year every evil being hates. It is filled with love and happiness. These demons have killed several witches as well as fairies and elves.” The Elder began.
“Elves, what like in Santa’s Elves?” Chris asked sarcastically.
“Not exactly but they do play a very important role in Christmas. We need you and your brother to find these demons and stop them.” The Elder urged.
“Okay, I’ll tell Wyatt as soon as he gets home.” Chris said dismissing the Elder as politely as he could. He did inherit his mother’s dislike for the Elders who seemed to always think of the Halliwells as their personal magical army. The Elder nodded a “Thank you” and orbed out.
After Wyatt got home and heard the news from Chris he agreed that they should get to work A.S.A.P. Both brothers charged up the stairs to the attic. Wyatt excited about vanquishing demons and saving Christmas, felt like he was in an old movie he used to watch with Aunts and Mom when he was a boy. Chris on the hand felt he had better things to do with his time then go charging after demons. Chris didn’t have much love for the holidays since his mom died.
Wyatt began to scry for evil while Chris began to mix a few potions. Each of them thinking all the while that their Mom had been a great teacher. Once the scrying crystal hit the map, Wyatt looked to his brother who just finishing up a potion and backing away so as to not get hit by the explosion from it. Wyatt stepped to his brother’s side and began to fill a handful of vials with the odorless yet colorful mixture. Wyatt handed a few of the vials to Chris and they began to put corks on them. Once they were finished they orbed to the location that the crystal had indicated on the map.
There seemed to be no one around when they heard a woman scream. Both brothers ran into a large warehouse and saw the woman surrounded by 5 demons taunting her. She appeared to be crying and kicking at them. “Get away from me!” She yelled as one hissed at her.
Wyatt waved his arm and the demons blew up in a fiery vanquish. “Those were only lower levels demons.” Wyatt whispered to Chris. “Wonder why they were after her.”
“I know they were.” Chris rolled his eyes. “And I have no clue. Lets’ go find what we’re looking for so I can go home and get back to my life.”
“I know you think that I don’t have a life but…” Wyatt started.
“I didn’t mean you didn’t have a life. I just meant you enjoy this too much.” Chris defended.
“Thank you!” the woman interrupted and ran to hug Wyatt. She was crying on his shoulder. “Those monsters just appeared out of nowhere and killed my boss. They were going to kill me too.”
“It’s ok they’re gone now. You’re welcome but we have to go.” Chris blurted out. “Come on.”

Wyatt looked at the woman and said, “Let me take you home.”
Chris looked at his older brother in amazement then nudged him with an elbow to the rib. “We can’t take her home, we have no car!” Chris growled.
“We don’t need one.” Wyatt said. “We’ll walk you home.”
Chris sighed in aggravation but followed his brother who was walking away with the lady’s arm entangled in his arm. During their 2-mile trek, Chris observed Wyatt. He had never seen his brother act this way. It seemed odd that Wyatt would be so enrapt by a woman that he didn’t know. Well it seemed odd that would be this way at all. Wyatt had always seemed so uninterested in women. Well there was that one girl in junior high that Wyatt wrote love letters to everyday, but this was different. Wyatt isn’t a kid anymore but he’s acting like one.
Wyatt didn’t fell like himself, yet he felt happy and warm. There was something about this woman. He never asked her name or why she thought the demons were after her. Those were always the first two things he thought to ask when saving an innocent and he was thinking them now but couldn’t seem to get the words out of his mouth. He just wanted to stare into her sea-green eyes and study every inch of her slightly tanned skin. She was almost a foot shorter then was but he didn’t find it difficult to look at her. He looked only long enough to make sure he was still walking straight and not bumping into anything.
“So what’s your name?” Chris finally asked. Wyatt felt relieved that he didn’t have to ask.
“Oh I’m sorry. I’m Diana. And you are?” She asked looking to Wyatt. He didn’t answer just looked to his brother for a moment then looked in front of him just to turn directly back to Diana.
Chris, wondering what was wrong with his older brother, answered. “I’m Chris and this is Wyatt. Why were those uh, monsters after you?”
“Wyatt?” the woman said stopping in her tracks. Both brothers stopped and looked at her curiously. “My psychic told me I’d meet a tall man whose name began with a W. And that we would fall madly in love!”
Wyatt smiled awkwardly, but Chris just rolled his eyes again and sighed deeply. “You didn’t answer my second question.” Chris pressed.
“Oh, I don’t know, maybe they were after my boss or something in the warehouse.” Diana looked to Chris now. “What were they really? I know monsters aren’t real; at least that’s what I tell my daughter… They aren’t real are they?”
“Apparently they are.” Chris said. The three of them began walking again.
When they finally reached a small house Diana thanked Wyatt and Chris again and kissed Wyatt on the check then entered the house. Chris turned Wyatt and punched him in the arm. “Hey!” Wyatt yelled. “What was that for?”
“What’s wrong with you? We have a job to do remember.” Chris snorted.
“Yea, sorry. Lets go home and try scrying again.” Wyatt said feeling like he had just been released from a trance.
Chris and Wyatt looked around and after making sure no one was looking, they orbed home.

I absolutely love it! It's great seeing our little Wyatt and our baby Chris grown up, rather than the ones from the future!! And having the demons trying to upset Christmas is a wonderful idea for a story. I'm rolling my eyes at Wyatt & Diana instantly falling for each other, but, after all, it *is* Christmas!! Please update soon!

After appearing in the attic Chris looked to Wyatt. “I’ve never seen you that way. Do you think she was a seductress or something trying to trick us?”
“Don’t be stupid. She was just a beautiful woman in need of our help.” Wyatt retorted.
“Whatever you say man. Let’s find our demons now shall we?”
“Yea okay.” They began to scry again and the crystal landed in the park. The brothers orbed out. When they got there, night had fallen and the only light was from the moon and a few street lights in the distance. If it weren’t for the glowing red eyes of one upper level demon, they might not have found the demons. The brothers approached the demons that seemed to be having a meeting. “There was a beautiful woman who was attacked a few hours ago. What do you creatures know about it?” Wyatt demanded.
“Wyatt!” Chris shouted. “What he means is that there is an evil plot going on to stop Christmas and if any of you know anything you had better say so now. Your death will be quick and almost painless. If you don’t spill it, well lets just say, there will be long hours of torture going on at the Halliwell Manor tonight… and maybe the next few nights if you’re unlucky enough to live that long.”
“Oh yea…” Wyatt added feeling a little confused as to why he couldn’t get Diana out of his mind. “Could Chris be right? Could she be a seductress or something? Did she put a spell on me or something?” Wyatt wondering. One demon flamed away as another threw a fireball at Chris. Chris dove to the ground dodging the fireball. Wyatt raised his hand and pinned the demon to a tree with an invisible force. Wyatt then waved his other hand and vanquished the demon that had glowing red eyes. The other two demons disappeared in flames to flee the wrath of the Twice Blessed child and his younger brother. Chris got to his feet and looked to Wyatt. “Looks like we have a winner.”
Wyatt smiled as he walked to the demon and grabbed its arm. “Ready for some quality time?” He then orbed home with the demon in tow as Chris followed.
Chris placed the last crystal in place to form the circle that served as a cage to hold the demon. Wyatt sat back in the sofa and looked Chris saying, “You do the honors, I have to clear my head.”
Chris, understanding why, agreed easily. He turned his attention to the demon. “Now. What’s the plan?”
“I know of no plan!” the demon hissed
“You know who we are and what we can do to you. So do yourself a favor and sing.” Chris said nudging a crystal with the tip of his shoe shocking the demon.
The demon screamed in pain. It then looked to Chris and then to Wyatt. Laughing it said, “You can torture me and you won’t learn what it is that you want to learn. There is no plot to stop Christmas you fool. You can’t stop a day from happening and you can’t control people, free will and all. You should know that by now.”

“No games you filthy piece of…” Chris yelled.
“Chris!” Wyatt said jumping to his feet. “I’ve got it, the truth spell. It works on demons, and we can find out if Diana is really an innocent or if she’s a demon too.”
“No Wyatt. I don’t think it’s a good idea. What if we say something to each other that we can’t take back?” Chris replied pensively.
“Chris, we’re brothers, we can forgive anything we say to each other. We need to do this.” Wyatt pleaded.
“Why don’t you just flash Excalibur at him and have him kneel before you oh mighty king?” Chris regretted saying as soon as it came out of his mouth.
The demon was squealing in delight at seeing the brothers argue. Wyatt waved his arms and the demon exploded.
“What’d you do that for? We needed him!” Chris fumed.
“We were getting nowhere with him. Besides if evil knew there was a rift between us they could try to use it against us. Our distance is a weakness we can’t afford others to know about.” Wyatt explained.
“You think you know everything but you don’t. You aren’t the almighty wise and valiant king our parents thought you would be. You can barely take care of this house. How do you think you are going to rule the world?” Chris shouted.
“I don’t want to rule the world. You want the job? Take it!” Wyatt shouted back then orbed out.
Chris yelled out to his older brother, “I’m sorry.” He waited a moment to see if Wyatt would come back but there was no answer. “Come on Wyatt I know you can hear me. Please come back so we can vanquish these demons before they spoil your party tomorrow night.” There was still no answer from Wyatt. “Fine,” Chris continued, “I’ll do it alone and maybe even get myself killed in the process. Will that make you happy?” Chris was furious with Wyatt. He went over to the map that always lay on the corner table in the attic and began to scry for the demons.
Wyatt appeared on the side of Diana’s house. He didn’t know where else to go. He stood there, very still, for a moment. Why was he here? What was it about Diana that drew him to her so fiercely? Wyatt walked around to the front of the house. He approached the door and knocked. On one hand he felt he needed to see, but on the other he prayed she wasn’t home. After a short time the door opened. “Hi” Wyatt said.
“Wyatt!” Diana squealed with delight. “Come in please.” She motioned with her hand and stepping aside so he could enter the house.
“I don’t know why I’m here.” Wyatt admitted as he walked inside. “I just felt… I don’t know…”
Diana closed the door. “Where’s your brother?”
“We had a fight.” Wyatt answered. “How’d you know he was my brother? I don’t think we said we were brothers.”
“Oh just a guess. The way you two were acting towards each other I guess. I just got the vibes you two were related and brothers seemed the most logical.” Diana explained.
“Oh. Well good guess.” Wyatt started to feel that strong attraction to Diana again. He was feeling happy and at ease just being near her.
Diana approached Wyatt. She took his hands and led him to the sofa. She sat down pulling him to sit next to her. “Would you like something to drink?”
“No thanks” Wyatt said. He leaned over and kissed her. Being shocked at his own action he quickly jumped to his feet. “I’m sorry. I didn’t… I’d better go.” He turned and left the house without letting Diana say anything. He ran to the side of the house and glancing around orbed home. Once in his room, Wyatt dropped onto his bed and buried his face in pillow.
Chris yelled out, “Wyatt! Last chance to keep your little brother from getting himself killed.” He waited a moment and continued. “Ok let Bianca know I love her would you?” And he orbed out of the attic. At the same moment Wyatt orbed in. “What’re…” Wyatt started to say, but there was no one there. Wyatt closed his eyes and used his Whitelighter ability to sense Chris and quickly followed him.

[[Sorry I'm a little late with the update. But here it is hope you like it. Oh just a warning, this part is a little PG13.]]
Chris found himself in the alleyway where the brothers had first encountered Diana. Looking into the warehouse where she had been attacked it appeared abandoned. The sun was setting and making everything seem eerie. “Well,” Chris thought. “Here goes nothing.” Chris took a few steps forward when Wyatt suddenly orbed in behind him. Chris turned with a quick fist. He managed to punch Wyatt in the chin knocking him back a step. “Don’t sneak up on me!” Chris yelled.
“Sorry!” Wyatt said. “Next time I’ll know to orb in a little further away from you. Nice punch by the way.” He rubbed his jaw.
“What are doing here?” Chris asked still feeling angry.
“I thought you might want a hand. We do need to stop these demons after all. Christmas Eve is tomorrow and we really need to get ready for the family to visit.” Wyatt answered.
“Let’s get to work then shall we? Now I was scrying for evil again and ended up here. What do you think is so special about this place?” Chris wondered aloud.
“Maybe there’s something inside demons want. Lets go check it out.” Wyatt said throwing an orb of light over his head and telekinetically moving forward. He liked not needing a flashlight thanks to his Whitelighter powers inherited by his Dad.
Chris and Wyatt entered the open but dark warehouse. Staying alert, they crept slowly through the building searching for demons. In a far corner of the warehouse 4 demons stood in a circle chanting something the brothers didn’t understand. Wyatt recognized the demons as being upper level ones. He touched Chris’ shoulder to hold him back. He whispered to his younger brother, “We’ll need more then our powers to vanquish these demons. Did you bring any spells or potions?”
“Yea,” Chris answered. “What would you do without me?” he smiled and pulled a handful of potions from his pocket. Wyatt took a couple of them and smiled back at his brother.
“Thank goodness” Wyatt thought. “Should we listen to try and figure out what they’re up to first?” Wyatt asked.
“What for?” Chris answered. “Let’s just kill them and get it over with.” Wyatt nodded and both brothers began to walk toward the circle of demons. Chris launched the first potion followed quickly by Wyatt. They threw potions two at a time flinging them from both hands. Unfortunately for the brothers, the demons appeared to have some sort of shield protecting them. The potions exploded against it and never harmed the demons. Befuddled, Chris and Wyatt looked at each other then began to try using their powers to destroy the shield. That didn’t seem to work either. “What now Chris asked?” Wyatt looked at the demons and a light began to emit from them. The light grew brighter and brighter until it finally exploded. The force from the explosion sent the demons and the brothers flying through the air. Chris landed hard against a table several feet from where he was standing. The table shattered under him and a large piece of the broken wood went through his leg. Wyatt went through a glass wall, which surrounded the only office in the warehouse. He received several cuts all over from the broken glass. The demons on the other hand simply disappeared.
A few hours later Chris woke up. Feeling the great pain in his leg after he attempted to stand, he screamed out in pain. Chris’ scream woke up Wyatt. He slowly climbed to his feet. Wyatt couldn’t see anything the sun had set and his orb of light had disappeared. There was total darkness surrounding him. “Chris?” Wyatt called out once he finally got to his feet. “Chris are you ok?” He felt such pain that he could barely get a sound out without wanting to cry. Wyatt put his hand to his throat and felt something sticky and wet. He knew it was blood. If only he could heal himself. He threw up another orb of light so he could find his younger brother.
“Wyatt!” Chris answered. “I’m over here.”
Wyatt ran to his brother’s side as quickly as he could. He knelt down and saw the wood protruding from Chris’ leg. “This is going to hurt.” Wyatt told his brother as he reached down to hold Chris’ leg steady with one hand and telekinetically removing the wood with the other hand. Chris screamed out in pain again. Wyatt placed both hands over his brother’s chest and began to heal him. Once Chris was healed he thanked Wyatt and slapped his older brother on the arm. Wyatt winced. “Oh my God Wyatt!” Chris said once he noticed that his brother was covered in blood. Chris grabbed Wyatt’s hand after he sat up and began to channel Wyatt’s power through himself. He slowly healed Wyatt, which seemed to take forever because he was hurt in so many different places.
Knowing that they both almost died, Chris and Wyatt hugged each other tightly. They had forgotten why they were mad or even that they were mad at all. They simply felt relieved that they still were alive and together. Wyatt, being the eldest and most fond of demon hunting, broke away first. “What do you think they were doing?” Wyatt asked his brother.
“I have no clue but we had better find out. That was some power explosion and it did an awful lot of damage.” Chris answered as he looked around and saw that the building was barely standing. Almost the entire thing had been destroyed. Wyatt got to his feet and helped his Chris up. Wyatt looked around to see the damage. “We’d better get home and check the book!” Chris continued.
