My writer's bone was itching and I had to scratch. Enjoy. San Francisco in the year 2027 The city is destroyed. As if war has taken it down. Skyscrapers, office buildings, banks and simple houses - ruined. Black from fire and the smell of smoke, fear and terror lies in the air. The sky is covered by dark clouds, covering the sun. The people on the streets walk fast. Hurry to get into the false safety of the few still intact buildings. Hope has abandoned the streets of this city. Fear has taken its place. Fear of death, torture and the arbitrariness of the ruler. Of the one who was once the chose one, but who has fallen. Fallen into the darkness and the shadow of evil. San Francisco is his capital city of the world he created. A world full of pain and fear, torment and agony. Good and evil bow to him in an vain try to save their lives from getting vanquished. Wiped off from the face of the earth. He is the one, born from the greatest power on earth. The most powerful magical creature, misled and fallen in to the darkness. Wyatt Halliwell - the chosen one. Somewhere in San Francisco. Phoebe Halliwell's apartment. "We can't let it go like this. We can't let him continue doing what he does. We have to stop him, Phoebe, and we have to do it now!" Chris Halliwell insists. He sits on the couch in the living room of his aunts small apartment. Next to him Paige. The same serious expression in her face. "And what do you think should we do against him? The power of three is dead. It died with your mother, Chris. And the only reason we are alive is that we are his family. He will kill us on the spot if we betray him and I don't feel like dieing at the moment." Phoebe replies and grins nervous. She knows that the walls have ears. Wyatt's invisible spies could be everywhere - even here in her own 4 walls. Even talks about such a thing as stopping him, could mean a cruel death. "But there's still the power of two, Phoebe, and if we could get Leo to help us ..." "Leo hasn't come back ever since your mother's death, Chris." Phoebe interrupts him. "But he would, if he would know what's going on down here. I mean, it's Wyatt - his favorite son. He would come to save him." Phoebe lowers her head. Shakes it in grief. So much has been lost in the past years. Piper killed by a demon nine years ago, Leo heartbroken and following his obligations as Elder. Never being around to help his younger son, neglecting him for some strange reason. Phoebe's husband, killed by one of Wyatt's minions - the list is long. "He loves you, Chris. Your father loves you." Phoebe says, goes over to him and sits down next to him. She takes his hand and presses it calming. "How can he? He hardly knows I exist. Chris says with sadness in his voice. "He knows, Chris, and he loves you." Phoebe repeats and Chris nods, but not really believing her. "Anyhow, we have to stop him." he says then to change the subject.

"That is the problem about the whole 'We have to stop him'-idea, Chris. How do you stop someone who is the most powerful magical being?" Paige interferes, knowing that Chris hates the whole 'your father loves you'-talk.
She too is kind of angry, because the way Leo was acting since Piper's surprising death, was really strange. He stays away for days, is not reacting to their calls and when he does come, he leaves shortly after again. He totally neglects his younger son. Most of the time he doesn't even show up, when he is calling him. His other "obligations" are always more important than his own flesh and blood.
"Ya, I know. I still have to work on that plan, but it's a start." Chris replies and gets up.
He walks across the room, turns around and looks at his two aunts. The only family he has left. And once more he feels alone. His mother was dead, his father didn't care about him and his brother was lost to the evil side. Chris loves his aunts, since they are his only connection to his mother, but they're simply not enough to replace his family. His parents, his brother. Although they did try.
Paige and Phoebe have always been there for him, ever since Piper was killed by the Mongol-demon, a slimy ancient demon, who first blinded her and than killed her. Chris was raised by Phoebe, because Paige was still on her magical temp jobs and Leo had disappeared, while Wyatt simply left the Halliwell mansion, not wasting a look back. Chris did have a loving home and both, Paige and Phoebe, tried to help him overcome his losses with great effort, but he felt alone. And he still does.
"Working on it is good, Chris. You're plan is not really thought over, because you don't have much more than that you want to stop him." Phoebe says and shrugs her shoulders. "That's why I'm here. You two are still powerful witches. I mean you were part of the power of three. Together we could defeat him." he says and looks at his aunt urging.
Phoebe looks at Paige. Looks for approving in her eyes. They were never able to say no to Chris and they wouldn't do it now either.
"All right, Chris. We're with you. We've never let you down and we won't do it now." Paige decides and Chris takes a deep breath of relief. "Yeah, what's life if there's not the threat of death once in a while." Phoebe agrees and smiles crooked. "So, where do we start?"
The sisters look at Chris questioning, who shrugs his shoulders.
"How about a protection spell, so we won't get any unwelcome visitors and listeners?" he suggests.

"A spell? Like in magic?" Paige asks. "You know that he can feel magic when it's used and that it will bring him over here right away, right?" Phoebe adds and looks at her nephew questioning.
Chris nods and a grin spreads out in his face.
"Of course I know. But he can only feel that magic was used. He cannot tell what kind of spell was said, right? And if we speak two different spells at the same time, he won't be able to tell if we're up to something good or bad." "Interesting." Paige admits and nods. "Okay then. The protection spell we have to write, what about the other one?" Phoebe wants to know and looks from Paige to Chris. "How about the disappearing spell? You look awful with that scar in your face, Phoebe, and that way you could get rid of it." Paige suggests. "I have it ever since my husband died, Paige." Phoebe says and strokes over the scar, which goes from her eye, over her cheek down to her chin. "It reminds me that I was not able to save him." "You're feeling guilty ever since it happened. It is time to let go, Phoebe. It's not your fault. He gave his life to protect you from this demon." Chris says and lays his hand on her shoulder. "And we would have a quite obvious explanation for using magic." Paige adds.
Phoebe looks at him, long and thoughtful, and nods. They were right.
"All right, the disappearing spell for my scar and the other one? I haven't written a spell for a long time." "Well, it can't be more horrible than the ones you wrote in the past." Paige says and grins. "I love you too, sister."
Phoebe walks over to the cupboard in the living room, rummages pen and paper out of a drawer to write down the spell and sits back on the couch. She thinks about it for a moment, writes and finally gets up.
"Ready?" she asks.
Paige nods and speaks the disappearing spell:
"Let the object of objection become but a dream As I cause the scene, to be unseen."
And at the same time Phoebe speaks her new created spell:
"This apartment shall be protected, all uninvited listeners and visitors detected."
The scar in Phoebe's face disappears and at the same time a bluish light spreads out and is gone, just as fast as it came.
Just moments later Wyatt Halliwell materializes in the living room. Coming straight out of nowhere and his reproachful and annoyed look is lying immediately on his brother. He let his look wander through the room and sees his aunts sitting on the couch.
"Magic." he says and slowly walks towards the sisters. "Are the power of two back in business?"
He looks at them wary and the threat coming from him is clear. Wyatt is dangerously calm. He goes on one knee before them to look into their eyes. He's silent, but his stabbing look seems to be going right into their souls. Their thoughts and Paige jumps up.
"Get out of my head - now!" she barks, fearless and still cautious.
"You know that it is strictly forbidden to use magic. Dangerous things come out of it and we don't want you two to get hurt, now do we?" Wyatt says then to his aunts, gets up and indicates Chris to have a seat next to Phoebe.
Chris goes over and sits down, not leaving his brother out of his eyes.
"Save your speech for those you can scare, Wyatt. Your mother might be dead and with her the power of three, but we're still here. And we have enough power to protect ourselves and Chris. From you and your little minions." Phoebe says and looks directly into his face.
She takes ostentatiously Chris hand to show him, who belonged to the family and who didn't. Wyatt looks at her, at her scarless cheek and nods.
"I see, aunt Phoebe. It was about time that you got rid of the mark. It made you ugly." he says.
Phoebe wants to jump up and hit him. Beat the living crap out of him, knowing that she probably would only make one blow and would be dead then, but everything in her is longing for it to teach her nephew a lesson. Chris knows his aunt good enough to see the signs and so he holds on to her hand. Forces her to stay next to him. It was suicide to go against Wyatt unprepared and the last thing he wants now is losing her too. He couldn't bear another loss.
"We know it looked awful and that's why Paige used the disappearing spell on it." Chris explains fast and tries to stay calm.
"I don't think we have to ask you for permission, Wyatt." Paige says and crosses her arms before her chest. "Oh, I think you do, aunt Paige. The only reason why I didn't take your powers away was because you are my aunts, my family, but I could change my mind about that. I will let it go this time, but the next time - you better ask." Wyatt replies calm.
Phoebe finally gets up and plants herself before her taller nephew.
"I'd really like to know what happened to you. Why did you turn so evil, Wyatt?" she asks and looks at him thoughtful. "You've been such a good boy. A pleasure for your parents and us. We would've gone through hell and back for you. And this is how you thank us."
Wyatt looks down on her and a slight smile adores his attractive face.
"I'm not evil, aunt Phoebe. But I'm not good either. I'm beyond good and evil. The two sides of the coin don't exist in my world. There's just me and I'm above everything. It's all about power. The power from which I was born and which I possess. It's as simple as that."
Phoebe raises her hand and strokes gently over his stubbly cheek. And Wyatt didn't stop her. He actually enjoys this small expression of love, which he hasn't felt for a long time.
"Piper ... wouldn't want you to be like this. She wanted you to do good. To be good. She wanted you to save the innocent, just like we did for so long. She wanted to be proud of you and look at you now - you're nothing but a disappointment. To us, to your brother, to your father. And trust me - to your mother. She's looking down on us and I know she is crying." "She's dead, Phoebe. She won't come back and about my father - he's a loser. As everybody knows. I'm beyond good and evil and just look around - there are no demons anymore, killing the innocent. The world is good and save and so are the people. There is no threat anymore" Wyatt replies. "They are save - as long as they submit to you. And the demons - they still walk among us, under your command." Paige interferes. "And you are the threat, Wyatt." Chris adds and also gets up.
Wyatt looks from one to the other, a smile in his face. And disappears.

"Whoa, that was close." Paige says, takes a deep breath of relief and sat down on the couch. "He was in my head. Good god, since when can he do that? Since when can he do that???"
Paige looks at Phoebe. Shocked and her face just one expression of disbelief.
"It's new to me too, Paige. I didn't know that he can read our minds now. Chris?"
The sisters look at the Chris, but he shrugs his shoulders. He didn't know either.
"That makes everything even more dangerous and difficult. Now what? We have to find a way to keep him out of our heads. You know something to block him." Paige suggests thoughtful.
"God, I really wish Piper would be here. She would kick his little bony ... " Phoebe says and walks up and down in the living room.
Then she suddenly stops, turns around and looks at Paige.
"There's still Leo." she says and raises her head, yelling at the ceiling: "Leo!!!"
Silence is lying over the room, while they wait for Leo to orb in, but he doesn't come.
"Leo!!!" Phoebe yells again.
She turns to Paige and shrugs her shoulders. Wondering where he is. And why he's not responding to her call.
"Dad!" Chris shouts up to the ceiling, hoping his father would respond to him, but knowing that his try is in vain.
Leo was hardly responding to his younger son after Piper's death. Something deep inside of him broke in that very moment, as his wife was killed by the demon and he couldn't stop it from happening.
Chris remembers that very day, as if it happened yesterday.
Flashback. 9 years earlier. Halliwell Mansion.
Piper is lying on the floor in the attic. Everything is destroyed. Destroyed by a violent fight. Piper's fight against the huge and mighty Mongol-demon. She fought bravely to protect her 14 year old son Chris, who cowers afraid in a corner of the attic and doesn't dare to leave it. He sees her lying on the ground, her look on him. Loving and caring and her mouth form the words 'I love you', but she has no strength to speak them loud. She indicates him to stay where he is, as Chris wants to go to her, to help her, and she fights herself up one more time. Wounded, weakened and with the despair of a mother. And the Mongol-demon blinds her with one look out of his one, glowing eye. Piper holds her hands before her eyes, it hurt so terrible and it takes the last strength out of her. She falls on her knees, knowing her end is near. She hears Chris desperate cry from out of the corner and
"LEO!!!" is the last word, she can press out.
The Mongol-demon is standing before her, raises his hand and puts it on her forehead and a white light starts to glow, to surround her and flows with the sound of wind into his hand.
The demon sucks the life and the magic out of Piper's body and as the light dries up, the life leaves her body and she drops to the side. Right in the very moment, as Leo orbs in. The Mongol-demon sees him and disappears. Leo looks around, shocked, and his look falls on his wife. He runs to her, goes on his knees beside her and tries to heal her. Tears are running in streams down his cheek. He knows he's too late, but he can't stop. He just can't stop.
"Don't die, Piper. Please don't die." he whispers desperate, while the white light from his hands flows into her, but he can't heal her and so he gives up.
He drops his head, crying. He looks at his hands. His useless hands, which healed so many others, but weren't able to heal the love of his life.
And then he hears a quiet whimpering and as he looks around he sees Chris. Cowering in the corner, his eyes, blinded by tears, lying on his dead mother. Leo gets up, turns to Chris and looks at him. Long.
Chris looks up to his father and what he sees in his eyes, breaks his heart. He looks as his son reproachful and pure disappointment speaks out of them.
And Leo orbs out. Leaving his son behind.
Moments later Phoebe and Paige orb in. Shocked by the mess and driven by despair. Phoebe has been feeling that something has been happening here. She has been feeling her sister's death.
"Oh god, what happened here?" she asks and looks around.
Her look falls on Piper and tears fill her eyes. She reaches for Paiges hand, needs something, someone to hold to. Paige follows her look and runs over to Piper as she discovers her. Phoebe hears the quiet whimpering from the corner and discovers Chris. Heartbroken, alone and lonely. And she walks over to him, embraces him and holds him tight.
"You're not alone, buddy. We're here. We take care of you, sweetie." she says and strokes over his hair.
Over and over again.
Phoebe Halliwell's apartment. 2027
"Leo!!! Bring your god forsaken butt down here! Now!" Paige yells.
Moments later Leo finally orbs in.
"What is it?" he asks indifferent, looks around and sees Phoebe, Paige and Chris.
Chris immediately steps back. He doesn't want to come too close to his father, who held him responsible for the death of his mother. At least he thinks that, since his father was hardly talking to him ever since it happened.
From that day on Leo had hardly time for his younger son. He only came when he really had to and the rest he left at Phoebe, who took Chris in and raised him after Piper's death. Other obligations where always more important than his son and so he did only the most necessary things, which a father has to do and disappeared again.
"We are going to stop your son and you will help us do so." Phoebe informed Leo. "I'm an Elder. I can't help." he says and sits down. "Why am I not surprised?" Chris whispers behind Phoebe, but falls silent as she raises her hand and gives him a warning look. "And why is that?" Paige asks instead. "The Elders have agreed not to interfere with Wyatt's affairs. He leaves us alone and we leave him alone." Leo explains. "Well, then you will break this 'rule'. You will help us to stop him, Leo." Phoebe insists. "And what makes you think I will do it? He's more powerful than all of us together. Trying to stop him is suicide. You should know that, Phoebe." "He is your son, Leo. Piper wouldn't want him to be like this and she would want you to do everything you can to bring him either back to the good side or to stop him. You know that." "Ya, well, Piper is dead." Leo replies and looks at Chris.
His look full of grief. No disappointment, no reproach. Purely and simply grief. And was there also a sign of the remorse?
"But your sons are alive and one of them needs your help!" Paige says. "And what do you all think can we do? The power of two, a half whitelighter, half witch and an Elder? What difference can we possibly make? We can't even use magic without having Wyatt showing up and punishing us to death." "Well, we still have to work our plan over, but we are willing to give it a try. What's worth our life in a world like this?" Phoebe answers. "So you have a plan?" Leo asks and looks wary at the sisters. "Well, ... sorta. We're working on it. We just found out that Wyatt can go into our heads. So we have to take care of that first. We can't run a surprise attack, if our surprise is no surprise, right?" Paige says and everybody looks at her.
She shrugs her shoulders and smiles.
"Right?"

Leo nods, hesitatingly. Yes, Paige was right. And so was Phoebe. He knew all along that Wyatt had to be stopped – one way or another. But he simply wouldn’t admit it. He was his son, his first born and he expected so much of him. Leo had expected him to be a good, a great leader. Bringing happiness and safety to the world. He had expected him to become the great good power and creator of a new age. But instead Wyatt had turned. Had turned into the most feared and dangerous creature on the world. There was no love anymore. There was no happiness, but only fear and anger and his minions walked the earth, bringing terror in every single house.
Yes, Wyatt had to be stopped and Leo knows it and finally admits it. His son has fallen and it was time to bring him back. Back into the light, on the good side.
“There is a drink. It blocks every try to read minds. As if you have a brick wall around your thoughts.” Leo says.
“Great. Do you have the recipe? I’ll go and get the ingredients.” Paige says and was about to go and get her jacket.
“The recipe – that’s the problem. It’s in the book of shadows.”
Paige stops on her way out and turns around. She looks at him in disbelief.
“The book of shadows? But that’s ...” Chris starts.
“... in the mansion. And that’s where Wyatt lives.” Phoebe adds and sits down on the couch.
Chris follows her, sits next to her. The thoughts in his mind were running. One could literally see his brain working. What else could go wrong?
“Well, we would have to get it anyway, so why not now?” Paige asks and looks at the three.
“Because once we go to claim it, we have his demons on our back. We have him on our back. Our lives will be forfeit as soon as we cross his path.” Phoebe explains.
“I will go and get it.” Chris offers and gets up, but Leo holds him back.
“You’re not going to do that. He will kill you on the spot. Stay here with your aunts. You’re save here. I will go and get it.”
“Since when do you care if I’m save?” Chris asks, looks at his father and gets up.
Anger overwhelmed him again and the deep disappointment that his father had left him alone in this world. That he neglected him and never loved him. And now he sat there trying to play the caring father he never was.
“Chris ...” Phoebe starts warning, but her nephew shakes his head.
Too long had he kept his mouth shut. Too long had he accepted the excuse, that his father had ‘obligations’. ‘Obligations’ which were so much more important than he was. Too long had he swallowed down his anger, but too much has had happened and he was too hurt to keep it for himself any longer.
“No, Phoebe. He can’t just come here, playing my father. He can’t. He left me alone. Alone in this world.”
“You weren’t alone, Chris. You had me and Paige.” Phoebe replies.
“I know, Phoebe. And I’m grateful for it. And I love you for it. You gave up your life to raise me, to take care of me. You did what my father should’ve done.”
Chris looks at Leo, in his eyes all the pain and the grief of the last years and Leo didn’t move back. He resists his look, knowing that his son was right.
“I didn’t know how to go on after your mother’s death, Chris.” he says calm and lowers his head.
“You should’ve known – for me. Or at least you should’ve tried. I needed you so much after mom’s death. I called you, almost every night, but you never came. You gave me the feeling that it was my fault and you left me thinking that. You know how much it hurts to think that you killed your mother?”
“It wasn’t your fault, Chris.” Leo says with grief in his voice.
“Oh, now I know. But not thanks to you. Every night in which I was lying in my bed, crying in my pillow, missing mom and you so much and been asking myself, why you abandoned me, Phoebe came into my room. She heard me calling for you and she waited with me for you to come. She took me in her arms when you didn’t show up. She consoled me, held me tight and told me that it wasn’t my fault. That mom died protecting me, because she loved me. Phoebe was there for me all the time. She protected me and she loved me. She did ...”
“It’s enough now, Chris.” Phoebe finally interferes and takes Chris hand to pull him back down on the couch.
He looks at her. Confused.
“No, it’s not. He should know ...”
“I said it’s enough, Chris. He got the message. We don’t have time for this now. You can argue with him later, but for now – zip it. We have something to do.” she interrupts him and gives him a warning look.
“It’s not enough, Phoebe. It will never be enough. But okay. If you want me to keep my mouth shut, then I will keep it shut.” he says.
Unwillingly and angry and with a withering look in Leo’s direction.
“But it’s not over yet, Leo. There’s more I want to tell you and I will do it.” Chris says to his father.
Tears fill his eyes as he orbs out and silence spread out in the apartment.
“I’ve failed as a father.” Leo whispers and lowers his head.
“Yes, you did. But we don’t have time to discuss this over. Priorities first – and the first one is the book of shadows.” Paige finally says.
“I have an idea.”
She grins at her sister and her brother-in-law.
“Well, what is it?”
“We will call Wyatt to come here and while we distract him here, Leo goes into the mansion for the book of shadows. But don’t take it with you. Just get the recipe. We will come back for the book later on, when we really need it.” she answers.
“That’s a good idea. Call him. I will stay around to wait till he comes and as soon as he shows up, I’ll go and get the recipe. But be careful what you think when he’s around.” Leo warns and gets ready.
Paige looks at Phoebe, waits for her to say something, but she just nods.
“All right. Let’s get crackin’ then. It’s good to be back in business.” Paige notices.
She gives Leo a nod, whereupon he orbs out. Then the sisters call Wyatt.
“Wyatt! Bring your butt over here. We need to talk!” Phoebe yells loud.
Moments later Wyatt materializes in the living room of Phoebe’s apartment. Together with some of his demons.
He looks around, discovers Phoebe and Paige on the couch. Waiting for him. He feels a short pain in his heart. Seeing them like this brings back up memories. For a very short moment he admits that he misses them. To be around them. To share laughter and happiness with them. To be part of the family again. But only for a short moment.
“Is it really necessary to bring demons into my house, Wyatt?” Phoebe asks and looks at him.
There’s no sign of fear in her voice or her face. Phoebe was never scared of him.
Wyatt indicates his minions to disappear.
“Why did you call me? I have things to do and no time to show up every time you call me.” he finally says.
“We want the book of shadows.” Paige answers determined.
Wyatt turns to her, looks at her and starts laughing.
“So the power of two is back in business? Why should I give you the book of shadows? Do you really think I’m that stupid?”
“Well, for one – it’s ours. And two – it has nothing to do if we think your stupid.” Paige answers and resists his icy look.
“And three – it’s none of your business what we need the book for.” Phoebe adds.
She was getting so tired of Wyatt’s arrogant attitude and again she feels the urge to slap him in his attractive face. And yet she was still amazed. She had reason enough to hate him. Hate him for everything he did and for everything he would do. For the way he treated and still treats his brother and his family. But she just can’t. She still loves him as her nephew, as part of her family and no matter what he does – this love would never die.
“Well, it’s my inheritance, so it is my business.” Wyatt replies and looks at Phoebe.
And he smiles at her. And in his eyes there was not this arrogant, almighty look, which he used to give his family. No, there was a sign of affection and right in that moment Phoebe feels it. The small good part, which is still in him. And it is beating. Beating like a heart. She looks at him, thoughtful, but says:
“Wrong, my friend. It is not your inheritance. It belongs to me and Paige. Once we are dead it will belong to you and your brother, but not as long as we are alive.”
“What do you want with it anyway?” Wyatt wants to know.
“We want to summon Piper.” Paige answers.
"Mom? What for?” “Chris has some serious problems and we find it necessary to make him talk to her.”
“Problems? What kind of problems?” Wyatt asks and looks from one to the other.
“Is he in trouble again? Do I have to punish him again? What did he do now?”
"If you ever lay your hands on him again, Wyatt, then I will personally kill you.” Phoebe warns him.
Chris is like a son to her and she still remembers the last time he was punished by his own brother.
“I had to punish him. He tried to steal the book of shadows.” Wyatt says, knowing that Phoebe was thinking about that.
“You hurt and humiliated him badly, Wyatt. You had him beaten by your minions. You locked him up for a week without food in a dark chamber. And then you just dropped him off here like a package. Leaving it to me and Paige to nurse him and to get him back on his feet. And if you ever do that again ... I swear to god, a million demons couldn’t protect you from my vengeance. And now get the hell out of my head!”
“Big words for a simple witch, Aunt Phoebe. My answer is no. You will not get the book of shadows.” Wyatt decides and disappears.
Meanwhile in the attic of the Halliwell Mansion
Leo orbs in. He looks around and it almost takes his breath. The attic looks just the same way it looked on the day when Piper died. And he is astounded and stunned to see that Wyatt had holographic figures of Piper and Chris up there. Showing Piper lying dead on the ground and Chris cowering in the corner. Just were he had left him.
Good Lord, his son was living in the past! This attic was nothing but a memory of the day when Wyatt decided to change sides. What else could be the reason for this macabre scene?
Leo walks over to the holograph of Piper and tears fill his eyes. He still can’t believe that she is dead. Piper, the love of his life, mother of his children. His only reason to live.
He kneels next to her, his hand above her face. He wants to touch her. Feel her skin one more time. God, he misses her so much that it tears his heart apart. Leo slowly moves his hand to touch her cheek, but his hand goes through the holograph. And he sighs deeply.
The book of shadows still lies on its place and so Leo gets up and dos what he came for. He opens it and looks for the recipe of the drink. He has to hurry, because Wyatt and his minions could show up every second.
There it is and a slight smile hurries over his lips. He memorizes the recipe, closes the book and looks around one last time. His gaze falls on the holograph of Chris and he sees the deep grief, the pain and fear in his face and he understands why his younger son feels so much anger towards him. He had to work this out with Chris. Chris was the only family he had left and so he decides to work it out with him.
And Leo orbs out and arrives in Phoebe’s apartment. Outside of the living room and what he hears make the blood freeze in his veins.
“If you ever lay your hands on him again, Wyatt, then I will personally kill you.” Phoebe says warning.
“I had to punish him. He tried to steal the book of shadows.” Wyatt replies.
And now get the hell out of my head!"
“Big words for a simple witch, Aunt Phoebe. My answer is no. You will not get the book of shadows.”
Phoebe Halliwell’s apartment
Leo walks into the living room. Pale as a corpse and speechless. He looks from Paige to Phoebe and back. Did he hear right? Did he really hear what he just heard? Wyatt punished his own brother? Like that?
“Tell me that it isn’t true.” he says to the sisters.
Both look at him silent. And Leo’s anger grew.
“Tell me, that my son didn’t hurt his younger brother! Tell me, that he didn’t have him beat up and locked away in a dark chamber for one week! Tell me, that he didn’t let his brother starve for a week! Tell me, that it isn’t true!” he suddenly yelled furious.
“Sorry, Leo – but it is true. And it wasn’t the first time either.” Phoebe replies.
“But you were supposed to protect him! What good are you if you can’t protect him?”
“I did everything I could do! And that’s more than you ever did, Leo!” Phoebe yells back.
“Don’t think I’m not feeling miserable because I couldn’t prevent it from happening. But Chris has his own head and he tends to follow it, no matter how often he gets in trouble because of it. I tried my best and I still do and most of the time I can prevent such ‘punishments’, but not all of the time.” she adds calmer, as she sees the shock in Leo’s eyes.
“Good god, what have I done? I failed as a father. I failed my son. I deserve his hate.” Leo whispers shocked and sits down on the couch.
“He loves you, Leo. You guys just have to work it over somehow.” Phoebe says and sits next to him.
She takes his hand and presses it, as Paige interfered:
“I know you two have to solve this issue somehow, but can we get back to our work now, before we will be discovered? I know I’m annoying, but it is important that we get going now.”
Leo and Phoebe look at Paige. She is right. But that makes Phoebe remember something and so she says:
“When Wyatt was here I felt something. I think my empath power was kicking in again.”
“What did you feel, Phoebe?” Leo asks.
“The good in Wyatt. I think we have a chance to bring him back.” she answers to the surprise of the others.
Both look at her astonished. That changes everything

Chris was pacing in the kitchen and he heard them talking and came back into the living room. "Give me the recipe already, would’ ya." he says a bit annoyed. He heard bits and pieced of their conversation. "We have no time to remake the love connection...c'mon." he says as he walks towards the kitchen. Then turns back to Leo, his intoxicating green eyes look on his now remorseful father and is it love and regret he sees on his face ... those same green eyes try not to show any sorrow of how he missed his father and his mother.... "Well, you coming or not? We need that recipe."
He turns back into the kitchen to get the cauldron ready. "You can talk about that empathy feeling of my good older brother with Paige ... or all of you can come into the kitchen already." Chris calls from the stove. And Leo gets up and follows after him.
Leo goes to the cupboard and got some ingredients. "We're out of ginger root?" He turned to look at the sisters. Paige nods. "I'm on it.“ and she orbs out. Chris pours some water into the cauldron and adds a pinch of clove and a dash of vinegar "Gee, dad ... this sounds like a real recipe for food .... except for the drop of blood." "We thought you left, Chris." Phoebe notices, as she walks to the cupboard to take out more ingredients. "Well, I was gone, but then I remembered that we were on to something and so I came back. But I didn't want to interfere you're little reunion party out there, that's why I waited in the kitchen." Chris replies and looks at the piece of paper with the recipe.
"Did he hurt you much, Chris?" Leo suddenly asks.
His voice almost not to hear and studying the kitchen table. Chris looks up and over to his father. Leo sits at the table. Looking everywhere, except at his son.
"Who? Wyatt? Yes, he did. But that's not important now. Phoebe, can you hand me some salt?"
Chris turns to his aunt at the cupboard, reaches out for the salt in her hand. She looks at him, urgent, and points slightly with her chin at Leo. She wants Chris to talk to his father. This was the perfect opportunity. Chris gave her a confused look, but Phoebe knows that he understood her hint. She nudges him against the stomach and points again with her chin at Leo.
Leo seems so small and vulnerable at the table. And for the first time they saw how heartbroken he really was.
"It is important. To me." Leo whispers and looks up. Chris rolls his green eyes at his aunt than moves towards his father. But then turns back to his aunt “I thought you said we don't have time for this." he whispers with clenched teeth. Than back to his father and he shrugs. "Well excuse me, to think you can care at ...." He rubs his arm where Phoebe just swatted him. "Ouch...." "All right, all right, Phoebe!" he hisses and gives her a withering look.
Her punches and nudges start to hurt.
"I never stopped caring for you. Or your brother. If I only knew ..." Leo says, but Chris interrupts: "Then what? Then you would've come to rescue me out of the claws of the demon that broke my rips? Or the witch that poisoned me with magical poison? Or Wyatt who personally locked me in his playroom for weeks? Or would you've stopped him electrocuting me? Using the horse whip? What, DAD? What?"
Chris spat out the word 'Dad' as if it was pure poison.
"Chris!" Phoebe interferes and he whirls around. "What? You wanted this little father and son moment. You wanted me to talk to him and that is what I'm doing, right?" "But not like this. He's still your father." "Then he better start acting like it. Because so far I didn't have a father." "Chris!" she hisses again, but Leo raises his hand to stop her. "He's right, Phoebe. I was never there for him. My 'obligations' were always more important. But I didn't do it, because I didn't love you, Chris. I ..."
Leo chokes, looks at his son with tears in his eyes. Deep grief was written in his face and he gets up. He reaches out to touch his son at the cheek, but Chris steps back.
"I'm sorry, Chris." Leo says and he means it. "Phoebe, call me when you're ready. I'll distract Wyatt."
Leo turns to his son again and orbs out.
"Chris! You're grounded!" Phoebe scolds right after Leo is gone and punches him into the stomach. "Grounded?" Chris asks gasping, because this time it really hurt. "Grounded for life, young man! What the hell is wrong with you? Didn't you see how much your father is hurt? He tries, okay? He tries!" "And what about me? Does anyone around here care how I feel? Or if I'm hurt? I saw mom dieing, I saw the reproach in my father's eyes. I was tortured by my own brother. Does anyone care about that? Jesus, Phoebe - you were there the whole time! You saw everything. You took me in, raised me and protected me. You loved me like a mother loves her son and you got me out of trouble, whenever I was in trouble. You fought several times against Wyatt about me. You were there for me, no matter what happened. You did his job!" Chris shouts, as Paige orbs in.
"Got it!" she says and looks from Phoebe to Chris, feeling the tension in the kitchen.
"What did I miss?"
"Not much. Just your nephew acting like a spoiled brat." Phoebe answers with a reproaching look at Chris. "Again?" is all Paige had to say and she walks over to the stove. "Again. Give me the ginger root." Phoebe says. "Phoebe ..." Chris starts.
He gets up and walks over. He doesn't want to argue with her. Not with her and not now. He was afraid that she would drop him too. That she would want him to leave, because he was causing so much trouble. Not that she would ever do it, but after all these losses and the way the rest of his family was treating him ... The relationship between him and Phoebe was something special and he didn't want to gamble it away.
Chris lays his hand on her shoulder to make her turn around to him, but she moves away and wipes his hand off.
"I'm sorry, Phoebe. Okay? I'm sorry." he says depressed.
Phoebe finally turns around and looks at him. Angry, but still loving. She was never mad at him for too long. She just couldn't. Every time she looked into these intensive green eyes and was seeing this marvellous smile her anger was fading and the love for him took over.
She can't hold herself back and hugs him. Chris takes a breath of relief and presses her to his chest.
"I love you, Chris. You know that. And he loves you too. So give him a chance, okay? For me." she says.
She let go of him and looks at him urgently.
"Okay?" "Okay." he finally agrees and nods.
Phoebe smiles and strokes over his cheek.
"Thank you. And you're still grounded."

Those same intense green eyes flickered with happiness and than suddenly changed to sadness and he frown, almost like a pout.
"Don't give me that look young man .... okay! Okay.....not for life." she waved her hand as if waving away a sentence.
Chris just kept the look for another moment or two.
"All right ... just promise you will try harder next time he orbs in. Okay?"
A small smile curls on his lips.
"Okay ... I'll try."
He leaned down to give her a kiss on her cheek.
“Now back to that drink ...."
He moves to the Cauldron and stirs in the ingredients and crinkles his nose.
"Icky! This now smells horrible... "
He scoops it into four glasses.
"Bottoms up..." he says lifting the glass up.
Phoebe and Paige hold up there glasses too.
"Hold it! Hold it! Wait!" Phoebe shouts and stops Paige and Chris from drinking. "LEO!!! We're ready!" she yells then to the ceiling and just moments later Leo orbs in. "Is everything set?" he asks and looks at around.
His eyes reddened and his cheeks still moist. Phoebe gasps upon the feeling she receives from him and closes her eyes tightly. That immense pain, grief and despair, which was coming from Leo, was too much for her. She struggles and moves back, as if she would fall, but Chris holds her on the arm, prevents her from falling against the cupboard.
"Phoebe, are you all right?" he asks concerned.
She opens her eyes again and looks at Leo. Tears fill her eyes as their look locks. Leo knows that Phoebe had felt was he was feeling and he lowers his head. And Phoebe understands the hint. He didn't want to talk about it and she wouldn't start with it.
"I'm okay. I'm just ... ah, forget it. Let's get started. Leo, take your drink with you and drink it before you face Wyatt. He will notice that something is going on and that way he can't go into your mind." she says then, knowing that Chris as well as Paige was still watching her.
"I don't need it, Phoebe. I'm an Elder and one of the advantages of being an Elder is that no one can read our minds. And if, then he will certainly not find anything of importance in there." Leo replies determined. "Give me five minutes - then I will have him distracted."
He gives his son another look and orbs out. And somehow Chris has the strange feeling that this was a goodbye. He can't explain it and can't tell where it was coming from, but the feeling was there. Clear and strong and suddenly he is scared.
He turns to his aunts, shock in his eyes.
"He wants to ..." he says, but Phoebe interrupts him: "Yes, Chris. I know." "You know what? What is Leo doing?" Paige asks. "Leo sacrifices himself. He knows that this could be a trip with no return and he is willing to do it, so we can either save Wyatt or stop him." Phoebe explains. "Is he friggin nuts? Leo!" Paige yells, as Phoebe touches her arm and shakes her head. "His decision is made. And you know Leo. Before he left I felt what he was feeling and it broke my heart. He wants to die, because he wants to go to Piper. He sees no purpose in this life anymore. His grief is too much. I felt it and it almost knocked me off my feet." "But ... " Chris starts, but falls silent.
That is even for him too much. And suddenly he got aware how much time he and his father have lost. And that there will be no chance of ever getting it back. Or solving the problems between them.
Meanwhile Halliwell Mansion. Living room.
"Wyatt! I know you're here, so show yourself!" Leo shouts and looks around.
It was a bit of an odd feeling to be here again. It still looked the same. Just as if nothing ever happened and Piper would be coming out of the kitchen, nagging about something. Pain fills his chest and Leo raises his hand and presses on it. Right on the heart.
"Dad. Now that's what I call a surprise." Wyatt says as he walks in. "My good old father comes to visit me. How come? I haven't seen you in years." "Well, I'm pretty angry, Wyatt, because I just found out that you've tortured your own brother." Leo answers, coming straight to the point.
He looks at his son provoking, feeling that he tries to read his mind. But what he reads didn't seem to be what he wanted to read, because a short sign of sadness flickers up in his eyes.
"I had to punish him, dad." "He's your brother. Brothers don't punish brothers." Leo replies.
Meanwhile Phoebe Halliwell's apartment. Kitchen.
"The five minutes are over. It's time." Chris says with a look at the kitchen clock.
The sister nod and after a last deep breath they lift the glasses and drink. Light flashes up, shortly and intense and fills out Phoebe, Paige and Chris. And is gone just as fast.
Halliwell Mansion. Living room.
Wyatt struggles, stumbles backwards, as if someone had pushed him. He holds on to the wall, closes his eyes tightly. He groans and shakes his head. Wipes over his eyes and shakes it again.
A slight sign of a smile spread out on Leo's lips, as he sees that. The drink is working. Wyatt's attempts to read the minds of the sisters and Chris have been stopped.
"What have you done!" Wyatt asks with clenched teeth.
He slowly raises his head, looks at his father. Reproachful, angry - furious.
"What have you done?" he yells, moves his arm and Leo bangs against TV.
It breaks, smoke comes out of it and before Leo can fight himself up, he flies again through the room. Against the cupboard and through the wall into the hallway.
"You can't kill me." Leo gasps and tries to get up on his feet.
He sways, but his look is on his son.
"You think?" Wyatt asks hateful and a lightning bolt shoots out of his right hand and hits Leo on the chest and the power makes him fly again and he lands hard on the stairway.
"You betrayed me, dad. Of all the people in the world! You betrayed me! I'm your son!" Wyatt barks furious and walks over to Leo.
He kneels next to him; the hole in his father's chest doesn't seem to bother him. Leo gasps, trying to pump air into his lungs. Knowing, that his end is near. God, his own son!
"I ... I didn't ... betray you, ... Wyatt. I'm .... doing this ... for you. To save you." he presses out. "Save me? And from what?" "You ... you chose the wrong ... way, son. Go back. Go ...."
Pain overwhelms Leo's body and his voice breaks.
"You're weak, dad. You've always been weak. I'm wondering what mom was seeing in you." Wyatt says, looks at his father disgusted and disappears.
"Chris!" Leo whispers, hoping his son could hear him. "Chris!" he shouts a little louder, using up his last strength.
But he had to see him one last time. To tell him that he's sorry and to tell him that he never stopped loving him.
"Chris!" he coughs and blood comes out of his mouth, runs down his cheek.
And moments later Chris and the sisters orb in. They're running over, as they discover Leo on the stairs. He is almost dead.
Chris kneels next to him, takes his father's head.
"Dad." he whispers and tears fill his eyes. "My son." Leo says and coughs.
He looks at Chris, his face distorted with pain and with deep sadness in his eyes.
"I'm ... I'm ... so sorry. So terribly sorry." "Dad, don't ..." "I have to ... have to say this, Chris. Before ... before I die. It is important."
Chris nods and he just can't hold back the tears. His father was dieing.
"I love you, son. I ... I always did and even though ..." he coughs again and Chris wipes gently the blood away, which keeps running out of Leo's mouth.
"... even though I didn't show you - I loved you. My ... my time is now up, but yours is to begin. Live it without regret, Chris. Don't ... don't make the mistakes I did." "Dad, please. If we ... " "No, Chris. I know my time has come and it is okay. I'm ready. I've been ready since your mother died. I don't want to live anymore, so please let me go."
Leo's head goes to the side, his eyes to the front door and a smile suddenly spreads out in his face. He raises his hand, reaches for something at the door. And his eyes are filled with love. Infinite love. He sees something there at the door and tears are streaming over his cheeks.
"Piper." he whispers. "You're mom ... she's here to get me."
Paige, Phoebe and Chris turn to the door. All three crying. Phoebe holding Paige's hand. She can feel what Leo feels and this immense love that was coming from him did tell her, that he was really seeing Piper at the door.
"Go, dad. Go with her." Chris whisper and kisses his father on the forehead. "I love you. And tell her I miss her." "I love you, son." Leo whispers and his head falls to the side.

Chris slowly gets up, as the body of his father’s body is fading away. Just disappearing into air. Chris feels a slight touch at his cheek. He raises his hand and touches it. Chris turns to his aunts. He doesn’t know what to say. What to do. Or where to go. His father is dead and it breaks his heart.
“Come on, honey. Let’s go, before Wyatt shows up.” Phoebe says and reaches out for him.
Chris just looks at her, walks slowly towards her and Paige and takes her hand. Phoebe touches his shoulder, smiles at him, but it doesn’t reach her eyes . “Let’s go home.” she says, whereupon Paige takes his hand and orbs them out.
Back into Phoebe’s apartment and away from the one place, where painful memories were living.
Phoebe Halliwell’s apartment.
“Now, what do we do?” Paige asks, after they had orbed in.
Chris walks over to the couch and sits down depressed. He lowers his face and looks at the carpet. Phoebe follows him, sits next to him and takes his hand . “It’s okay to cry, Chris. He was your father.” she says sympathetic. “Cry? I don’t have to cry. Or want to cry. Right now I’m just angry. I want to go and kill Wyatt. Just like he killed our father. I mean – Phoebe! Wyatt killed dad!” he replies and looks at her.
His intensive green eyes full of hate and anger.
“There’s a chance that we can turn him, Chris. We don’t have to kill Wyatt.” Paige says and sits down on his other side. “I don’t care, Paige. I want him dead.”
Chris shakes his head, gives his aunts another look and orbs out.
“Don’t do anything stupid, Chris. Not now!” Phoebe yells after him. “Gosh, I wish I could orb. Paige, get him back!”
Paige nods and follows Chris magical trace to find him.
“Children. They’re so cute when they’re young, but a pain in the ass, once they grew up.” Phoebe growls to herself and gets up to go into the kitchen.
She needs a drink. An alcoholic drink. She still couldn’t believe what she has just seen. Leo died in Chris’ arms and it was Wyatt who killed him. There as no other explanation for it. It had to be Wyatt. Who else would have the power to kill an Elder? No one on this earth has the power to do such a terrible, awful thing – except Wyatt.
“I had no choice, Aunt Phoebe.” Wyatt suddenly says behind her.
Phoebe starts and whirls around. She looks at him shocked and move backwards. Till she feels the cupboard in her back. Wyatt follows her slowly. Coming closer and closer. He looks at her - calm and if he didn’t do anything.
“So you really did it. You killed your own father.” Phoebe notices and raises her hand to keep him away from her. “He betrayed me, Aunt Phoebe. I had to stop him. If I let him do what he did, then everybody would start acting like this and then I would have nothing but work work work. Can’t you understand that?” Wyatt says, as if that explains everything and as if it was a good reason. “Jesus Christ – Wyatt! Do you have any idea of what you are doing?” Phoebe asks and frowns her forehead. “Of course I do. I’m ruling and it seems as if my own family is against me.” Wyatt answers and comes closer to her. “Stay away from me, Wyatt.”
A smile spreads out on Wyatt’s face and he looks at her. And Phoebe knows that he had something coming. Was this her moment? Was her time up too?
“Now what, Wyatt? Are you going to kill me too? Like you killed your father? Is that the reason why you’re here?” she asks fearless and walks over to the table.
She is scared. Scared to death. It is hard going against him together with Paige and Chris, but alone – alone she has no chance. And Phoebe is aware of it. But if she has to face death now, then she wants to do it upright. And not without fighting.
“Not if you stop crossing my way, Aunt Phoebe. You, Paige and my beloved brother – you have to stop. Otherwise you leave me no choice.” Wyatt answers. “Oh, so first you want to kill me, then Paige and then Chris? You want to murder your whole family? For what, Wyatt? Why? God, you’re mother is turning in her grave.” “Stop crossing my ways and I don’t have to stop you. But if you keep on, then I will have to do something against it.”
Wyatt slowly walks over to her. He slowly takes her hand and looks at her.
“We can’t, Wyatt. We can’t let you go on like this. You’re ruining everything. Everything the power of three and your father have fought for. You were supposed to be good. You were supposed to continue the Halliwell line and the legacy of our ancestors. You were supposed to save the innocent, not to terrorize them. All of our hopes were lying in you, Wyatt. Just come back to us. Turn back on the right way and become what your mother and your father wanted you to become. You’re evil, Wyatt, but I know – I KNOW – that you can come back to us.” Phoebe says serious and determined and Wyatt seems to listen to her.
But then he let go of her and makes one step back. He looks at her.
“Nice words, Aunt Phoebe. But it’s a waste of breath. I’m not evil. But I’m not good either. I’m so past that. I’m beyond good and evil and you know what? I love it. I’m all the way on top and I really like it up here.” “It is pretty lonely on the top, Wyatt, and those up there tend to fall. To fall deep deep down. We can’t let you go on like this, Wyatt.” “Then it is decided. I’m sorry to hear that, Aunt Phoebe. I really am. I was hoping that you and the others would join me one day. I was hoping that one day you would see it like I see it. That you would share my opinion and that you would come and join me. I wanted to reunite us – the Halliwell’s. But … you made your decision.”
Phoebe raises her hand and touches his cheek. Strokes softly over his stubbly skin and … smiles.
“Then do what you came for, Wyatt. I love you.” she says and stretches out her arms – awaiting death.
Wyatt looks at her. Impressed, but also hurt. It hurt that she preferred death over him. He slowly raises his arms and lightning bolts shoot out of his hands. They hit Phoebe with such a power, that it takes her off her feet and she bangs against the table. The wooden furniture breaks under her and she lands hard on the ground. She’s covered in blood and incredible pain overcomes her. She trembles like a leaf and looks down on her and discovers a hole in her chest. Deep and deadly. She has trouble breathing and the sight keeps fading. Wyatt comes to her, kneels next to her. Phoebe raises her arm, trembling, and coughs. Blood comes out of her mouth, runs down her cheek and her neck. She sees his face over her, strokes over his cheek and smiles again.
“You will be stopped, Wyatt. If not by me, then by someone else.” “Why? Why did you have to make me do this, Phoebe? Why didn’t you just come to me and join me? Why, Phoebe?” Wyatt asks sad.
It touches his heart and his look was full of grief. He takes her in his arm and holds her tight.
“I just wanted my family back.” he adds whispering. “Me too, Wyatt. But you are on the wrong side. This doesn’t have to be the end, Wyatt. I forgive you. I love you.”
One single tears runs over Wyatt’s cheek and he disappears. Phoebe remains lying on the floor, coughs and fights herself up.
“Paige! Chris!” she gasps, feeling that life was leaving her body.
She crawls out of the kitchen and into the living room. She doesn’t know why, but she does it.
“Paige. Chris.”
Her voice is breaking.
Paige and Chris orb in. Arguing. But they fall silent as they discover the chaos and the trace of blood, which is leading into the living room.
“What the …?” Paige says and follows the trace, followed by Chris.
And there she is. Lying in a pool of blood. Her blood. Her breath rattles and it is obvious that she has trouble breathing.
“No!” Chris whispers with a choked voice and runs over to her. He picks her up, turns her around and sighs deeply as he discovers the hole in her chest. “Give me something to stop it!” he yells, blinded by tears. “Give me something!!!”
He looks around and finally takes a pillow. It is the only thing within reach. He presses on the hole, hoping to stop the bleeding. But he knows that his try is in vain. That it is already too late.
“No! Please, Phoebe. Don’t do this to me. Don’t leave me here.” he whispers and presses her to his chest.
If he just wouldn’t let go of her, maybe he could stop the bleeding. Maybe he could stop death from taking her. If he just wouldn’t let go of her …
“Chris – honey, it’s too late.” Phoebe whispers, smiles tormented and coughs. “God, come on, Phoebe – I just lost my father. I can’t lose you too. Phoebe, please. I need you. I need you here.” Chris begs desperate.
He looks up to Paige, but she is crying. Crying too much to do something.
“Please, Phoebe.” “Chris, it is all right. We will see each other again. Now I want you to go with Paige. You hear me? Stay with her. She will protect you and she will help you.”
Phoebe coughs again. The end is near.
“You have to stop him, Chris. Do you hear me? Stop him. Get the book of shadows, find the spell to travel through time and go back. Prevent whatever happened that made him change. Prevent it and change the future. This future. You have to do it fast, because he is coming. He’s coming for you and for Paige.”
Chris nods crying and holds her tight, as she reaches out for Paige. She takes Phoebe’s hand carefully and hesitating and kneels next to her.
“You have to protect … protect him, Paige. Make sure … make sure that he can travel back through time. He has to go.” Phoebe begs with her last breath and her head falls to the side as Paige finally nods agreeing.
Chris sighs deeply, cries like he never did since his mothers dead. He presses her to his chest, holds her head and whispers over and over again:
“No. No. No.” “We have to go, Chris. Come with me. We have to go.” Paige says with a choked voice.
Chris looks at her, his green eyes so full of pain and grief. He doesn’t want to let go. Not yet. He isn’t ready to let go.
“Chris – let’s go. We have to be gone by the time he comes back. Let’s go.”
Paige reaches for him, takes his left arm and pulls him up on his feet.
“We will do what she said. It’s the only way.”
Chris nods, looking at Phoebe for a last time.
“Yes. I will go back in time and I swear to god – I will kill him if I can’t stop him.”

"Okay, Chris. And I will help you, but now we have to go. Come on." Paige says, takes his hand and orbs out.
Paige Matthew's apartment
Paige and Chris orb in and Paige leaves right away to go into the kitchen. She leaves Chris alone in the living room, where he stands and looks around.
Fluffy pinkish and green pillows on a red couch. Clothes lying around, her drawings standing everywhere.
Chris stares at the couch, as if it could answer all his questions. What is he doing here? He isn't supposed to be here. He should be at Phoebe's and argue with her about some silly subject. Preferable his relationship with his father, which always seemed to be her favorite subject. But now there is no relationship anymore. Not with her and not with his father. How could this happen?
All he wanted was bringing an end to Wyatt's rulership.
"God, what have I done?" Chris groans and sits down. "It's all my fault."
"No, it's not." Paige says, as she comes back from the kitchen.
Two cups of coffee in her hands, handing him one of them.
"Of course it is! If I wouldn't have talked you into this, Phoebe and dad would still be alive! But no - I wanted to go with my head through the wall again. It is my fault that they are dead!"
Paige looks at him, takes a sip of her coffee and puts the cup on the black coffee table before her screaming-red couch.
"And why in the world didn't you help her, Paige? Why didn't you heal her?" he suddenly yells.
Chris looks at her, tears fill his green eyes and he has trouble holding on the cup in his hand. Paige carefully takes it and puts it next to hers.
"There was nothing I could do, Chris. The wound in her chest was magical and the only one, who could have healed it, is the one who gave it to her. Wyatt." she explains calm, but with a slight tremble in her voice.
"You didn't even try! How do you want to know that it wouldn't have worked?" he yells again and lays his head in both hands.
He still can't believe what has happened. They were gone. His father and his aunt. And then it suddenly comes to him. He raises his head and looks at her in shock.
"You'll be next. Oh my god, Paige! You will be next." he gasps and looks around, as if the danger is already right here in this very apartment.
Paige lowers her head, looks at the table and wipes some dust off of it. She nods - slightly and almost not to notice.
"I know." is all she has to say.
Chris jumps up and walks up and down the room like a caged animal.
"I can't let that happen. I already lost Phoebe and dad. I don't want to lose you too. You're all I got left. The only family I got left. I have to do something. I have to think of something. There must be a way ....."
"Chris." Paige says to interfere, watching him wrecking his brain, with thinking about something that he won't be able to prevent.
"I have to come up with something ..." "Chris!" "Maybe if I go to Wyatt and tell him that everything is my idea and that I talked you into it ...." "Chris! Stop it already!" Paige suddenly shouts and Chris starts.
He looks at her and sees a slight smile in her face. And he knows that she would sacrifice herself for him. Just like the others did. Like everybody did since he was a little child.
"I don't want you to die." he says with a begging sound in his voice.
"I might die here and now, Chris, but if we can get you back to the past to change the future, than I won't be dead. Life can and will be better and Wyatt will not be evil." she explains and waves him over, so he would sit down next to her.
"I can't watch you die, Paige. And what if I can't change the future. What if I can't stop him from getting evil? What if he knows that I'm going through time and follows me? What if he kills mom and dad, before I'm born?" "Enough with the 'what-if's' and 'when's', Chris. It's about the here and now. And right here and now we have to figure out how get a hold of the book of shadows. Without getting caught and killed, of course."
She takes her cup again and takes a thoughtful sip. Chris watches her.
"It is all my fault. This wouldn't have happened, if I would have stopped. God, Phoebe told me so many times to just stop and live. She said I shouldn't waste my time on trying to stop Wyatt. She said I should find me a girl and live. I should've listened to her. Now I understand, Paige. Everything she said and why she was always so mad at me, when she had to get me out of trouble again. She knew that this could happen. That Wyatt was capable of killing us all. She knew it and she tried to protect me and stop me from bringing us all into danger. Why didn't I listen? Why, Paige? Why didn't I listen to her?" he asks and bursts out into tears.
It is too much for him. Too much to bear. His shoulders tremble and he cries and breaks Paige's heart. She hugs him and holds him tight and let him cry.
"It's all right, honey. Just let it all out. I know how you feel. It's all right." she whispers, patting his back.
Chris holds on to her as if his life is depending on it. He can't hold it back anymore. Too much has happened. Too many losses to bear.
"It's all my fault." he sobs. "No, it's not, Chris. It's not your fault. It's our fault - mine, Phoebe's, your mother's and your father's, because we let happen, whatever happened to Wyatt to change him. It is our fault, because we didn't watch out enough. We didn't look after him and you enough. And that is the outcome. You just tried to make things better. And that was good, Chris. You made Phoebe and me think. We would've kept going on like this, without making any attempts of changing it. But you showed us, that we have to do something." "Yeah, but it got Phoebe and dad killed and you will be next, if we don't stop now." "Then so be it. If dieing means that you get safely to the past - then hell, let's get crackin and kick some butt."
Chris laughs choked and sits back upright. Paige looks at him loving and wipes the tears off his attractive face.
"It's okay, honey. It really is. Nobody is mad at you, because of what you did. And you should know that Phoebe never really was mad at you whenever you stumbled into trouble. She was proud of you, because you had the guts to do something. She always said that you have the courage of your mother, as well as the smart-ass back talking."
Paige smiles and Chris laughs again.
"She loved you, Chris. Like a son and even more, because you reminded her so much of Piper. I can't tell how many times she told me that and how jealous I was every time, because I missed most of it." "She never told me ..." "Well, you know Phoebe. She tried to be a mother and a mother can't go and tell the son how proud she is that he keeps on getting into trouble, right?"
Chris nods smiling and takes her hand.
"Thank you, Paige. For telling me. I always thought she was constantly mad at me for the things I did. Especially for trying to steal the book of shadows that one time." "Oh, that time she was really mad at you, Chris. She was worried about you, since you didn't come home for a whole week and when Wyatt dropped you of like a package, she wanted to first jump him and then you. It was madness what you tried, but on the other hand understandable. But seeing you so hurt, naked and covered with bruises, starving and begging for some water - that almost drove her nuts. She was really mad and she swore to beat reason into your butt, as soon as you recovered, but she was glad to have you back - alive."
Chris smiles again. That really was typically Phoebe and he still remembers how bad she scolded him for that. She made him feel like a little boy again and he didn't get into trouble for weeks afterwards.
"Now, should get started?" Paige asks then and Chris nods. "Yes. Let's get crackin'."

"All right then." Paige finally says. "If I remember right, then there is a spell in the book of shadows, which opens a door through time. And we don't even need the power of three ... I think." "Any chance that you remember it, Paige? That way we wouldn't have to go in to the house to steal the book." Chris asks.
Paige thinks, tries to remember. She gets up, walks up and down and says:
"It was one of Phoebe's spells, I think. 'Here these words, hear the rhyme ...' - something like that. She mostly started her spells like that. Gee, it's been a while since I've read in the book the last time."
Chris just watches her. He too has been reading in the book, but he didn't get to that part. The book of shadows has become very thick in the years. Piper used to call it a cockroach killer.
"I can't remember. I guess we really have to go and get the book." she says after a while and shrugs her shoulders.
Chris only nods and looks at his cup of coffee.
"All right. Now you will stay here, while I go to the house and check out the situation." "You're not going there alone, Paige. I'm coming with you." Chris contradicts and shakes his head. "The hell you are. You will stay right here, where you're save. Wyatt won't harm me as long as I'm no threat to him. We both know that." "Paige ..." Chris starts, but she interrupts him: "No, Chris. I want you to stay here. End of discussion."
And with that Paige orbs out and leaves him.
Chris knows that she is right. That it is better for him to stay away from Wyatt and the Halliwell house. For his own sake. But on the other hand, Paige is all he has left and the thought that she is going into the cave of the lion alone, unprepared and unprotected ... and he is on his feet, before he finishes his thought.
"Don't even think about it, son!" a familiar voice comes from behind and Chris whirls around.
His heart is beating fast and fear spreads out in him for a short moment, as he sees many white, glittering sparks which slowly spread out. Like a cloud of light. And they form a figure. A luminous figure. It becomes clearer and clearer and with a heavy, deep sigh he recognizes the figure.
"Mom?" he says astonished.
Happiness fills his heart. He's so glad to see her. So glad, that tears fill his eyes immediately and he couldn't hold them back.
"Mom." he repeats choked and steps closer.
Piper smiles and raises her arm. Reaches out for her son. To stroke over his reddened cheek. To caress him and to feel him.
"You have to listen to your aunt, Chris. She knows what she's doing." Piper says. "But she's alone and Wyatt will kill her, mom! She's all I have left. I'm all alone if she dies. And I can't face Wyatt alone. I'm not strong enough." "What has to happen will happen. It's your destiny, Chris. You're stronger than you think. You're my son after all." "But not strong enough to defeat Wyatt."
Piper smiles and looks at him loving.
"There will never be a defeating Wyatt, Chris. But you can turn him. Trick him, Chris. You're smart. Phoebe's plan is the only way to stop him." "Did you see ... her? Can I ..., I mean, can I see her? Talk to her?" he asks. "Not yet, Chris. She needs some time to ... let's say to become acclimatized to this 'Ghost world'." "Can you tell her, that I'm sorry? And that I miss her? And love her?"
Piper smiles again and nods.
"I will, Chris."
She suddenly looks up, as if she had heard something.
"I have to go now. Before they find out that I'm here. Grams just warned me." she says and looks again at Chris.
"I miss you, mom." he whispers choked and wipes over his eyes with the back of his hand. "I miss you too, honey. But don't be afraid. You will find your place in this world and you will find the strength to do what you have to do. I'm sure." "But I don't know how." "You will when the time has come. You're a Halliwell and don’t you ever forget it. I'll be with you wherever you go and whatever you do." "You're going to watch over me?" Chris asks and suddenly feels like the little boy again.
The little boy who always sat on the lap of his mother, snuggling against her and enjoying the protection of her arms.
"I'll always watch over you. You're whole family does." Piper says smiling. "I love you, mom." "I love you too, my son." she replies and disappears.
Chris takes a deep breath, looks at the spot, where just one moment ago his mother has been standing. Again he wipes over his eyes and finally turns around to the couch. He sits down and waits. Waits for Paige's return.
Meanwhile in the Halliwell house.
"Wyatt?" Paige shouts.
She can feel his presence. His power. It fills the whole house. But there is something else. Something she can't define.
"Wyatt! Come out. I know you're here. You're always here. Come out and talk to me."
And moments later her nephew materializes before her. He looks at her questioning and distrustful.
"So the last one of the power of three has come." he notices and comes closer.
Paige feels the inner urge to step back, but she resists. As well as she resists his icy look. She just stands there. Her head raised and looking directly into his eyes.
"What do you want, Paige? Scold me for killing Phoebe? Or are you here to try to kill me? Are you on a little vengeance trip, aunt?" he asks and a mocking smile spreads out in his attractive face.
Paige shakes her head.
"What sense would it make to come here all alone by myself and try to kill you, Wyatt? We both know very well, that I can't defeat you alone." Paige answers calm. "At least one of you knows." "But was it necessary to kill Phoebe? You're own flesh and blood?" "I hate to say it, but yes. She crossed my way. Just like you. Because you two listened to the madness of my little brother. Now tell me, Paige? Do you still listen to him? Knowing that I will do everything to protect myself? And I mean 'everything'?" "Wyatt, what you did was wrong. And you know that. No matter on what kind of power trip you are - you know you messed up big time. Killing your father, then your aunt ... only a sick head is capable of doing that. Chris knows it; I know it and I bet my left arm that you know it too. Do you think your mother is happy about the things you've done? Or the things you will do? I doubt it. Don't you see that something is going terribly wrong around here?" Paige starts.
She has no clue where she was taking that courage from, but she feels the need to finally tell him, what she thinks about all that. The anger simply takes control over her.
"Have you been taking a look outside lately, Wyatt? Don't you see what is happening? The world is ruined, because of your games. The people suffer. Innocent people. People you were supposed to protect. But instead of going and doing what you're meant to do, you're running around, spreading fear and wiping out your own family! That's madness. You're evil, Wyatt. And the fact that you think you're not, makes it even worse." "Wrong, Paige. It's not about good or evil. Back in the times of the power of three it was about good versus evil. You, mom and Phoebe against the demons of the underworld. The sister fulfilling their destiny. But think about it - was it worth it? The many losses? The many beloved ones you all lost, while fighting your senseless battles? Andy Trudeau, Prue, Kyle and many others. Was it worth it? No, it wasn't." Wyatt replies. "I combined the forces. I stopped this everlasting battle. There is no good versus evil anymore. It's all about power. My power. The power I am born from and which I possess." "And who has the most power wins." Paige interrupts, but he shakes his head. "I'm so past that. I have the most power and therefore I win. I am the chosen one. I am the carrier of the holy sword Excalibur. I am the one. You don't see demons out there anymore, killing innocent people, or do you? I made this world a better place and you should be thankful - grateful - instead of fighting me. You should join me, Paige. You should be at my side." "You're out of your mind - that's it. You've gone mad for some reason." Paige notices. "I'm not mad. I'm just realistic. I changed this world." Wyatt insists. "No, you didn't. You just changed the threat, that's all. Now it's not demons anymore, now it's you. You are the threat."
Wyatt drops his head, shakes it and takes a deep breath.
"It just a waste of time to try to make you guys understand. You just won't get it." he says and looks at her. "What do you want, Paige? Why are you here? Besides wasting my time and giving me a headache." "I'm here to claim what's mine. I want the book of shadows." she answers determined.
Wyatt's look gets amused and he starts to laugh.
"You've got to be kidding." "Nope, I'm not. I want the book." "For what? Do you really think I'm that stupid that I'll give you the book of shadows?" "If you're stupid or not - that's another question, Wyatt, but I want the book. I know that it is hopeless fighting against you, or trying to stop you. But Chris is somehow obsessed with the thought and I have to change that in order to save him. I need the book to put a spell on him, so he stops."
Wyatt looks at her, tries to read her mind, which makes her smile.
"Try all you want to read my mind, Wyatt. I found a way to block you. There's no way in." she says.
"I can hear reason speaking out of you, Paige, but I don't believe you. I know my family and when it comes to fighting evil, which I am in your eyes, my family never gives up. The answer is no. And now excuse me - I have business to take care of." Wyatt says.
With the single movement of his forefinger he opens the front door and a group of demons suddenly appear. Huge, mighty and mean looking demons. Paige looks around, sees that there is no chance of winning, turns around and orbs out while walking towards the door.

Paige Matthew's Apartment
"This lousy, friggin, wannabe smart ass ..." Paige scolds, as she orbs in to the living room of her apartment.
"Just once, only one single time I would like to be strong enough to take his pants off and beat the living crap out of his ass. Only one single time. Is that too much to want?" she continues and looks at the ceiling.
She's so angry, that she completely forgets that she isn't alone and as she turns around she looks into Chris' surprised face. He looks at her questioning and slowly gets up.
"What happened?" he asks curious. "You're brother is completely out of his mind. And I mean 'completely'. He thinks he's the savior of the world and he simply won't realize that he became the biggest threat on earth. He's gone mad and I don't think that we can do something about it. Not here, not now and definitely not alone. There's no other way, Chris. You have to go back in time." she answers and looks at him. "I know." he replies and sits back down. "Mom told me already."
Paige walks over to him, raises one eyebrow and asks:
"Mom? Your Mom? Piper?"
Chris smiles and nods.
"I wanted to follow you, but she stopped me. She suddenly appeared here and talked to me. And told me, that going back in time is the only to stop Wyatt. To turn him and to save Dad and Phoebe. And you, in case you will die too." "Oh, now that's great. So I'm doomed too. God, where are Buffy and Angel when you need them?"
Chris looks at her amused and smiles.
"Wyatt is no Vampire, Paige. I don't think they are the right people to call to stop the chosen one." "Ahh, nonsense. Buffy is also the chosen one, so who is better to fight him than her and her Angel? But anyway, I checked out the situation. He has demons in the house. As guards. I don't know about the attic, but he certainly has them everywhere else. So my plan is to distract Wyatt and his minions with astral projections of ourselves and while they are busy with them, we're going to orb into the attic and get the book." she replies thoughtful. "Are you serious?" Chris asks, because it does sound dangerous. "Well, if you got a better plan, then please fill me in." she only says and looks at him.
Chris thinks about it for a while, but shakes his head.
"No, I don't have a better plan. But I'm not happy with this one either. It's dangerous and we're going to be so history if he catches us." "Ya well; I guess that's the risk of our occupation, right? I'd say we're going to do it tonight. I'm going to show you how to do the astral projection and then we will get on with it. We have to end it as soon as possible, Chris. We have to end it now." she says determined and looks at her nephew. "You know that he will do everything to stop us, right?" Chris asks worried.
Paige looks at him. Thoughtful and determined. And nods.
"Honey, it is possible that this is our last night together. Actually I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to make it. Wyatt knows that there is something coming. That we are planning something. He might be mad, but he is not stupid. And he will try to stop us. And I am sure that he will try it by killing me off first. I'm a bigger threat than you are and so it's only logic that he will be after me first. And it's okay. Let him kill me. I'm ready. Don't try to save me, Chris, you hear me? Don't. If you see him going after me, then simply take the book of shadows and get the hell out of there. Orb somewhere, where he has a hard time finding you and then go back in time." she says and takes his hand. "It is important that you do so, Chris. Very important. Go back in the time and the first thing you do - tell Phoebe. Tell her everything. She's an empath. She will know that you're telling the truth and let her touch you, so she can have a premonition. Tell her that she has to do it, in order to really know that you're telling the truth. That you came from the future to either save Wyatt or to stop him. If you have her on your side, than the others will follow. Meaning me and your mother."
Chris looks at her. With sadness in his green eyes.
"I don't think that I can leave you to die, Paige." he says. "You have to, Chris. Don't try to save me. Take the book and then get the hell out of there. You have to make it back in time. Because if you do, then nothing of all this will happen. Whether Phoebe, nor your Dad will die and Wyatt will not be evil. All our hopes lie in you, Chris. You have to make it." she insists and he finally nods.
Paige gives him a bright smile, pats his hand and says:
"Good. Now let me show you how to do these astral projections and then we get ready."

Paige Matthew's apartment.
The night has come and Chris and Paige are sitting in the living room on the couch. Both lost in thoughts. Thinking about what they are about to do and what the consequences might be. Both with an odd feeling in their stomach. They are about to break the rules. Wyatt's rules. And they know that he won't happy with it.
Paige sees that Chris is nervous. That he's playing with his fingers. She doesn't know what to say to calm him down, to console him, so all she does is taking his hand. Presses it comforting.
"You really think this is a good idea, Paige?" Chris asks, as he feels her hand. "Well, you were the one who wanted to stop him, Chris. It's a bit too late to be changing your mind." she answers and looks at him. "I wasn't talking about that, Paige. I meant the plan to distract them with astral projections of us. Don't you think Wyatt will notice that he's facing a fake us?" "That's why we have to act fast. He is not stupid, that little fellow. He will get it soon and then he will be after us like the devil behind the soul." "I don't like the idea, Paige. Really." "I don't like it either, but we still have to do it. It's our only option. Just remember - once you got a hold of the book - leave! As fast as you can. Don't worry about me. Just get the hell out of there and do what you have to do as fast as you can. He's gonna be after us very quick and you have to be gone, by the time he notices that the book is gone." Paige repeats and looks at him determined. "And you really want to sacrifice yourself for this plan?" Chris asks, like many times before. "I don't want to, but I have to."
The clock on the cupboard starts to strike. Midnight. And it's time to go.
Paige takes a deep breath and gets up.
"It's time, Chris. Are you ready?" she asks and he nods. "Let's do it."
Both stand in the middle of the living room. Their heads lowered and deeply concentrated. They hold each other's hands. Their eyes are closed and suddenly their heads fall back.
Halliwell house.
The astral projections of Chris and Paige appear in hall of the Halliwell house. They look around, but nothing happens. They haven't been noticed yet.
Paige walks down the hallway to the stairs. She looks up the stairway, in to the living room ... nothing. No demon, no Wyatt, no nothing.
"What's the point of tricking some one, if no one is here?" she asks a bit disappointed and turns back to Chris.
He shrugs his shoulders and says:
"Well, we should make some noise then, so they realize that there is a threat in the house. Can we do magic? As projections, I mean." "Yup, we can do everything we normally can." "Well, let's make some noise then." Chris says, walks into the living room and shoots a lightning bolt out of his right hand and blows up the cupboard. "Where did you learn that?" Paige asks, as she follows him. "Mom taught me. But she was way better." he answers grinning and shoots another lightning bolt, but this time right into the grandfather clock.
"Wyatt!!!" he shouts and looks up to the ceiling. "Wyatt, bring your ass down here! We got some business to take care off. You and me!"
Paige just looks at him. Rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
"That's such a cliché, Chris. It's not just you and him. I want a piece of him too." she says and starts throwing stuff down to the ground.
"Wyatt, we know you know we're here. So show up so we can get over with this!" she shouts.
Demons appear around them. Mean looking, strong and muscular demons. All dressed in black and with grim expressions in their faces. They surround them, but they don't attack. And suddenly Wyatt appears - in the middle of the circle of demons and right before Chris and Paige.
"So this is it?" he asks mocking and looks from Chris to Paige. "Not very impressive, isn't it? You two alone against me and my minions? What's the point of this suicide?" "The point is that we at least tried to fight you." Chris answers and shoots a fireball out of his right hand.
He hits Wyatt and Wyatt starts to burn. He's burning from head to toes and while he jumps back startled, because he didn't expect this kind of madness, Paige and Chris use the time to vanquish his demons. Both are still powerful. Not as powerful as the charmed ones once were, but still powerful and within the shortest time, the demons in the living room were wiped out.
Wyatt just closes his eyes and the fire disappears. Leaves him unharmed. His face is distorted with fury as he walks towards Chris. His eyes are dark of anger and madness and pure blood lust speak out of them. That was it. The last line. And Chris crossed it.
Wyatt raises his hand and looks at Chris. And his younger brother suddenly chokes. It feels as if someone would strangle him. Would take the air away from him. His head turns red and he puts both hands on his neck to remove the imaginary rope.
Paige looks around in a hurry, looks for something, an object to help Chris and discovers, in the end, a vase.
"Vase!" she yells, and the object orb directly into her hand and the next thing she does is throwing it against Wyatt's head.
That distracts him for a moment and he turns to his aunt, which gives Chris time to breathe again.
Meanwhile Paige Matthew's apartment.
"It's time. Wyatt is busy. It's now or never. Are you ready, Chris?" Paige asks.
Chris looks at her, thoughtful and definitely not so sure if he really wants to do it, but then he nods.
"I'm ready." he says determined and takes her hand.
And they orb out.
Meanwhile Halliwell house.
"You think you can defeat me? You really think you can?" Wyatt roars thunderous.
He seemed to grow as he walks towards Paige. He raises his hands and with that he lifts Paige without touching her.
"You fools! I can not be defeated. Haven't you learned anything from the past?"
And he throws her with all his strength against the wall. Through the wall and she lands hard on the floor in the hallway.
"Paige!" Chris screams and attacks Wyatt.
Throws him on the coffee table in the living room. Shoots lightning bolts out of both hands. Over and over again. Wyatt builds up a shield to protect himself. He gets back up on his feet. Looks at Chris and smiles. Dirty and mocking. And then, suddenly, he raises his head. Looks at the ceiling. He looks back at Chris. Impressed.
"So that's what it's all about. And you almost had me. I almost believed that this was really a suicide trip of you two. You were good, little brother, but not good enough."
Halliwell house. Attic.
"Paige, he knows. Hurry!" Chris says nervous up in the attic.
They've just orbed in. Moments ago, but Wyatt had already noticed them.
"He's on his way, Paige. Hurry. Where is the book?" "I know. I know." Paige says and looks around, but the book is not on its usual spot.
She takes a deep breath, closes her eyes and says:
"I call upon the ancient power, to help us in this darkest hour. Let the book return to this place, claim refuge in its rightful space."
Suddenly the book of shadows appears before them, but before they were able to take it, Wyatt appears in the room. And he is very angry.
"I knew it. You all just never stop, right? Well, I guess I have to stop you then." he says and forms a ball of pure energy in his hand.
He looks at Chris and Paige. His eyes dark of anger and also disappointment.
"I don't need you." he growls with clenched teeth.
He swings his arm back, his eyes lying on his brother, but before he can throw his ball, Paige interferes. She gasps the book of shadows, picks it up and throws it at Chris, yelling:
"Take it!"
And Chris catches the book, right as she jumps Wyatt. Another surprise for him, because he didn't expect her to physically attack her.
Chris stands there, presses the book of shadows to his chest and watches Paige hitting Wyatt. Landing one blow after the other.
"Leave! For Christ sake - LEAVE!" she shouts towards him, as Wyatt pushes her back so hard, that she flies through the attic and bangs hard against the wall.
"Leave!" she repeats again, fighting herself back on her feet.
She's covered in blood. Bruises and cuts all over. Wyatt throws an energy ball at her, but she can jump out of the way and so the ball hits a mirror. Breaks it thousand pieces, which fall upon Paige like rain.
She turns around again, fights herself up and she knows that her end is near. This is the moment she's dieing. Now all she has to do is making sure that Chris can get out of the house. Alive.
"Leave!" she repeats again.
Commanding and urging. Chris looks at her. With tears in his eyes.
"I love you." he whispers and orbs out.
"Noooooo!" Wyatt screams.
His voice so loud like thunder.
He whirls around to his aunt. Pure despair is holding her on her feet. She is badly injured. Bleeding everywhere.
"You!" Wyatt growls.
He looks at her with pure hate in his dark eyes. He raises his hands. Slowly and threatening. A huge energy ball forms between them. It gets bigger and more intensive. Paige can feel the mighty power of the ball. The evil power and the hate. This is the end.
"I never stopped loving you, Wyatt." she says and straightens up to face death.
And Wyatt throws it.
