Scene 1: Catherina first meets Nathe Copan, human form of daemon Tetzcatlipoca, on the road to house.
PLACE AND TIME:
Near Catherina’s house, old Victorian building. Kate is going on the street. And there is going a postman.
Some introduction over Kate’s appearance- tall, dark-haired, young woman (20 years old), intelligent type, she is studying informatics at local university. She already knows of her gift, but she is very inexperienced and even using her first gift is very basic... Wears a white jacket at a moment.
POSTMAN
Good afternoon, miss Comte.
KATE
Good afternoon, you’re a postman? And where’s Mark?
POSTMAN
Mark... needed to rest. He had a very bad day yesterday...
KATE
Really? I don’t known of anything.
POSTMAN
Yes, he don’t even informed his family yet. However, I’m Nathe Copan and I will be postman at this street, since today.
KATE

NATHE

SCENE 2: Kate is going to the house. Some describe of the house inside- rather modern interior, but not futuristic- classical late 90s. In the antechamber, hanger located on the left wall, together with mirror, rather narrow antechamber. Greenish-gray walls. Kate enters the living room, linked with antechamber by an open passage to the left. Living room: spacious, light-green, with only two sofas near the window, on the front wall, second sofa perpendicular to the first. A cup of tea and a thermos on little, brown table. When Kate is going to pour the tea a whitelighter appears behind her backs. It is former inspector Andrew Trudeau, now known only as Andy.
KATE
[noticed about Andy’s show up]
Hi, Andy. What are you doing? Have you anything important to tell me now? One warlock more?
[turning back to face Andy]
ANDY
It is a thing much more grievous, Kate. There is not only a warlock on your tracks. The Elders told me, that now an old, powerful daemon wants to get you.
KATE
Are you serious? Old, powerful daemon?
ANDY
I am grievously serious, Kate. We don’t know who it may be and even where to search.

KATE
[sitting on the sofa]
If you’re right... Why me?
ANDY
[sitting near Kate]
Don’t tell anybody, but it is rumored that you will soon find a partner.
KATE
Partner? What do you mean?
ANDY
I mean a future husband. If you will find him and will be able to marry him, you two will become a founders of a most powerful clan of wizards and witches, clan that will bring a doom to all the Evil, and even the Source itself.
KATE
Wait, Andy. Now, half a year after you explained me my gifts, you try to tell me that all my future as a witch depends on a man? As if it wasn’t enough, a man I don’t even know?
ANDY
Listen, Kate... [Kate stands up and goes to another room, but Andy stops her] Kate, it is only rumors. Probably, as all rumors it is fake. Please, Kate, don’t take it so personally.
KATE

ANDY

KATE
[is going to a phone that stands upon a furniture, near doors that leads to kitchen, on the back wall, she phones]

SCENE 3: Complete scene makeover, the interior of manor that looks like medieval castle. Stone walls, full of torches all around. At the center of the place, a large basin. Suddenly, one of the walls (front) moves and a man comes from it. Average tall, dark-haired, with a decent beard, dark-dressed. He is going through the stairs that leads to the basin. Here stays a little, wooden table. On the table- the ghost-casting desk. When he sits near it, it starts moving.
SEVERIN
[staring at a desk]
What is going on? What do you want now?
[desk shows words: FIND HER]
OK. I shall find her, but who I need to find?
[desk shows words: FIND WITCH]
Very precise information. I shall find a witch. But who, personally, I shall find?
[desk shows: KATE COMTE]
Right. Thanks. Kate Comte... Where do I hear this name already? Let me guess...
[stands up and takes an book about programming, he start to read, but suddenly stops and closes the book. Looks onto the binding. Mysteriously smiles.]
Yes, I know where I heard the name of this witch. A computer witch? A proper profession for modern enchantress.
[puts down a book, disappears like a warlock]
[and now a time for the intro]
SCENE 4: Next morning, Kate exits the house. Again she have this white jacket and white trousers. She enters her car and ride away, while Severin goes out from the bush. He throws out the newspaper, he was hiding over which and walks to the house’s door. When he tries to put his finger in the keyhole, Andy appears behind him.
ANDY
[hawking]
Ekhem...
SEVERIN
[suddenly turns back, shouting]
Who you?
ANDY
A kind of Kate’s guardian. Better explain who you are, and what are you doing with this keyhole.
SEVERIN
[confused]
I? Nothing. I tried to check if Kate is at house. Oh, by the way- my name is Severin Andrews and I am studying at the same university as Kate.
ANDY
[shaking Severin’s hand]
Greetings. And I am Andrew Trudeau, a police inspector. Kate have just gone to university, if you don’t want to be late, better go now.
SEVERIN
[looks to a clock]

ANDY

SEVERIN

SCENE 5: WC in university, really don’t need to much description on the WC. Now, it sounds that Severin appeared in one of the cabins. He exits it, making a total surprise to a man who is washing his hands.
Description of university corridor- whole building is neogothic style, spacious corridor, dense populated, as probably a State University.
MAN
[staring at Severin]
Hey, guy! How did you get inside?
SEVERIN
Quickly. [washing his hands, man exits, Severin goes just after him, looking around for Kate, then he was halted by prof. Bezledy]
BEZLEDY
Hey, mr. Andrews. I need to talk with you.
SEVERIN
What? Oh, sorry, professor. What’s going on?
BEZLEDY
Dear friend, you know of my sympathy to you, but you missed one exam more. I can not tolerate this longer.
SEVERIN
I am very sorry, professor, but I had very important thing to do and I...
BEZLEDY

SEVERIN

SEVERIN

SCENE 6: Lecture hall, giant hall, with a professor’s desk located down and students chairs going up and up. Classical, wooden chairs and stools. Kate sits far on the left side, while Severin is going to his place on the right side, but when already located Kate, desperately chase her. When he got the place just behind her backs, a proper owner of this place appeared.

SEVERIN

[Severin casted a little spark on man’s eyes and he peacefully goes to place which was previously Severin’s, Severin sits down]
SEVERIN

[giving the pen]

SEVERIN
[looking on falling Christopher (man II)]

SCENE 8: Severin left the narrow hall, going to the wider one. Here he saw a postman, who tracks Kate. Suspicious over his motives, and what he’s doing is going to talk with him.
SEVERIN
Hey, aren’t you a Kate’s postman?
POSTMAN
Which Kate’s?
SEVERIN
You know well. I am asking about Kate Comte.
POSTMAN
Maybe. And why it matters you?
SEVERIN
I have some reason. Better tell me why are you tracking her?
POSTMAN
[modulating voice to be a bit lower]
It’s not your business. Get off me.
SEVERIN
[catches postman’s collar and pulls him out to WC]
Don’t try to cross me. You don’t know, who I am.
POSTMAN
[with a demonic voice]
And you don’t know, who I am.
[morphs into awful Aztec demon]
Get off, mortal.
SEVERIN
It is you! I was reading about you, Tetzcatlipoca!
TETZCATLIPOCA
Who are you? A wizard?
SEVERIN
A good one, for your knowledge. And I am here to vanquish you, awful devil!
TETZCATLIPOCA
Screw you! [throws off Severin with his mirror abilities, morphs back to postman and disappears with a dense fog and smoke]
SEVERIN
[touching wounded place on side]
Damn you, demon! You hurt me! Why they all must throwing me here and over? As if fire-casting was not enough...
[lies screaming]
PRUE
[squats near Severin]
What happened?
SEVERIN
Don’t you see? I think I found Tetzcatlipoca.
PRUE
[healing]
Yes, I see. How do you found him?
SEVERIN
[standing up]
It was easier than I can guess. You remember what the ghost of my mom written to me by the ghost-desk?
PRUE
You had to find Kate Comte, a beginning witch.
SEVERIN

PRUE

PRUE
