Well, I've decided I'll post my story here as well as FF.net. I hope you like it, and please tell me what you think. It's a bit...out of my comfort zone, but I like it, I guess.

Love Eternal
Phoebe fell onto her soft bed, her mud mask finally off and her skin feeling baby soft. She couldn’t believe what had happened to her today. She had gotten possessed...then she had died, and finally she came back to life again thanks to an ingenious move from Piper. The last few hours of the day were spent pampering Paige—with some pampering for herself getting done—but Phoebe still felt like something was wrong.
There was a shapeless void in her heart. It seemed like it had once been filled to the brim with love and kindness, but now the source of that had been taken away, leaving a dark hole, which nobody could fill. Nothing that seemed to have been there didn’t fit. Throwing herself into her work didn’t help, trying to find another boyfriend didn’t. Not even finding out that Piper was pregnant filled the void.
“What’s missing?” Phoebe said angrily. “I have everything I’ve ever wanted. What the hell could be missing?”
A boyfriend—a husband. Phoebe, you know what’s missing. You just don’t want to admit it, a tiny voice in her head started.
Actually...Phoebe shot back. I don’t know what’s missing.
The voice rolled its eyes at her—if the voice had eyes. Cole.
Phoebe shook her head. “I do not miss Cole,” she said. “How could I? He’s an evil bastard...he wanted to kill my sisters. But...perhaps, he didn’t mean to. He only wants to get me back...” Phoebe threw the nearest thing, which happened to be a pillow, at the wall. “What’s wrong with me? If Cole really wanted to get me back, he would go about doing it in an entirely different way.”
Phoebe sighed. This was getting her nowhere.
Phoebe, you still love Cole. The voice smirked.
Phoebe stared out of the window, the last beams of light shining into her room. The sun was nearly down now, but there was a tiny glimpse off it out of the window—it was beautiful, with red and yellow and orange lines of fire connecting to the dark ground.
“I...” Phoebe couldn’t get herself to say those last two words, though she knew they were true. Nothing would ever change how she felt about Cole, but there was nothing she could do. It would backfire on them. It always did.
And Phoebe couldn’t handle any more heartbreak.
Phoebe sniffled and pulled a pillow up against her face. She let the tears fall. Tears over what Cole had done, tears over what they had lost, tears over what she had done to him...they all poured out of her eyes directly from her heart. It seemed like they were just waiting for a moment where she would finally crack and let them come out freely.
“I do,” Phoebe cried out. “I do!”
The door suddenly flew open and Phoebe sat up, looking at the doorway. Piper and Paige were standing in the doorway, looking nervous. As soon as they saw that she was all right, they sat down at each side and wrapped their arms around her, comfortingly.
“Shh...” Piper said, rubbing her back softly. “It’ll be okay.”
Phoebe shook her head. “No, it won’t,” she said. “You always say that and it never is! It will never be okay! I...”
Piper exchanged a look with Paige. “You what?”
“Love Cole,” Phoebe whispered. She jumped up and began to pace. “See? I told you nothing would be okay. Do you know what’s going on in my heart right now? I’m just so confused...I just don’t know what to think.” She sighed. “I still love Cole. Nothing will change that.”
“Er, Pheebs...” Paige said. “He was the Source of All Evil.”
Phoebe turned to her and glared. “Do you think I don’t realize that?” she said harshly. “Believe me, I do. That’s part of why I’m so confused. But he loves me. Do you see that look in his eyes when he looks at me?”
“Yes, Pheebs,” Piper began. “But do you realize how many things could go wrong?”
Phoebe glared. “We can handle it. We always do.” She grabbed her jacket and purse. “I’m going to go see him. I can’t let him think that I don’t...well, let him continue on thinking that I don’t.” Paige opened her mouth. “I know he’s dangerous, but he won’t hurt me. Trust me. Piper, can I use your car?”
Piper nodded, speechless.
“Thanks,” Phoebe chirped and ran out of the room. After grabbing Piper’s keys on the table beside the beautiful wooden doors, she ran out of the manor and into the darkening world around her. She jumped into the driver seat of the car.
I don’t why I’m doing this exactly, but I’m going to run with it. I should at least let him know.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Piper stared at the place where Phoebe had been a few moments ago. “She’s stark raving mad,” Piper said finally. “What is she doing?”
Paige glared. “I don’t know,” she said. “Though I can’t believe she would do something so stupid! Cole nearly tried to kill us! She helped us vanquish him. I don’t have any idea what she’s been drinking or smoking lately, but it must be pretty strong.”
Piper nodded in agreement. “I just hope she doesn’t get hurt.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phoebe turned onto the street where Cole’s penthouse was. It had started to rain just as she had gotten halfway there, so the raindrops were hitting the front of the car and then dripped off, much like teardrops. The select few that hit the windshield were immediately swept away by the windshield wipers, never to sing their sad song again.
“What am I doing?” Phoebe muttered.
Getting Cole back. What do you think I’m doing?
“Going out of my mind,” Phoebe replied. “Clearly. But I am also getting Cole back.” She laughed. “Going out of my mind. Look it up in the dictionary. Would say: Getting Cole back.” She realized that she was talking to herself. “Why—never mind.”
She sighed. She really was going crazy. Pulling into the parking lot, she pulled a determined expression on her face. Her eyes, normally filled with white-hot hate, were filled with kind love, though Cole probably wouldn’t notice. She hoped he wouldn’t notice...
She walked into the building. Most of the people had retreated to their rooms, but there were a few people wandering the halls idly. Phoebe didn’t pay attention to these people, however, and walked into the elevator. Jabbing the button that said “Penthouse,” she waited for it to jolt into motion nervously. She bit her lip when it gave an almighty heave and began to move upward slowly.
“This is it,” she muttered. “Cole, please...please...forgive me.”
Phoebe was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn’t even notice that she was at her floor until the elevator doors started to close once more. Barely slipping through, she entered the penthouse.
It seemed empty...of Cole.
“Oh, Cole,” Phoebe said softly. “What are you doing with yourself?” There was a guillotine in the center of the room, and scorch marks on the floor. On the couch–what was left of it—was about twenty beer bottles and many tins of Chinese takeout. He didn’t seem to want to take care of himself anymore.
“Cole?” Phoebe called. What had happened to that nice, sweet, sarcastic man that she had come to love? All that was left in his place was an ugly vision of what he was now...someone that nobody would recognize. “Cole? Are you there? Cole?”
“Phoebe.” Cole stepped out of the shadows and Phoebe gasped. His hair was rumpled, his coat hanging off his shoulder, his shirt unbuttoned, his pants dirty with the scent of beer, yet Phoebe had never seen him so handsome. “What are you doing here? Going to try and vanquish me again?” He flopped bitterly onto the couch.
“I was just coming to see how you were,” Phoebe said. “Cole, why are you like this?”
Cole glared. “I told you, Phoebe. I’m insane.”
Phoebe couldn’t help glaring, though her feet carried her closer to Cole. Placing her hand on his cheek, she sank down next to him. “Cole, this isn’t you,” she whispered. “Why are you like this? What happened to the kind man I used to love?”
“He disappeared along with your love,” Cole snapped and Phoebe flinched at his cold tone. “And move your hand. Don’t you dare get near me as if you care. You don’t care.”
“I—I—“ She stopped. “I do care.”
Cole froze. “You care? Why do you suddenly care? Because I saved that woman today? Because you wanted to see me suffer? Or is this some sick joke so you can try to vanquish me again?” He let out a cold, dry laugh. “Well, that won’t work. As you can tell, nothing can vanquish me. I’ve tried everything.”
Phoebe glared. “I care,” she said. “Really care. I overreacted and didn’t know what I was thinking. I was confused. Piper was pregnant and—“ She sighed. “I just can’t forget our little baby boy—the one we would have had, even if you weren’t the Source of All Evil.” Her voice softened. “You said you wanted to be good. Why aren’t you? Just because—just because—I didn’t care doesn’t mean you can’t be good.”
Cole shrugged her hand off his cheek and turned away. “There’s no point for me to be good anymore,” he glared.
“Yes, there is,” Phoebe said. “I—do care about you.” She smiled. “I love you, Cole. I never stopped. I just don’t know how to handle all this with my sisters and all the things we’ve been through. I was confused before, but right now, in this very moment, things have never been more clear.” Her smile widened at the glimmer of hope that appeared in Cole’s eyes. “Cole, believe me. I love you. You, Cole Turner, no magical powers. Just you. I was too busy with the fact that you had powers again that I didn’t notice you. You’re the same.” A tear appeared under her eyelid. “I’m sorry I didn’t realize it before.”
Cole looked at her searchingly. “How do I know?”
“Trust me,” Phoebe said. “Could—please—you give me another chance? I won’t botch this one up.”
Cole’s nod and brilliant smile that lit up his eyes made Phoebe nearly cry in happiness. Cole’s old self was beginning to shine through again. She was going to make sure it never disappeared again. She was going to stay by Cole’s side, no matter what happened.
She climbed into his lap and pressed her lips to his. Cole immediately deepened the kiss.
Phoebe broke apart a few seconds later. “I love you, Cole. I love you and nothing will ever change that.”
Cole smiled. “I love you too, Phoebe.”
