An Unexpected Addition: Mel (Let's Talk)

Piper is in labor and gives birth to a baby boy but there is another head and she gives birth to a baby girl!!! Its twins!!! And everyone looks up at Chris just wondering who is this?!?! and why didn't you tell us about your twin sister? Chris just looks back at them with his famous look (great some more explaining to do) and walks out. Piper and her babies come home from the hospital, they get the babies settled and then everyone joins Chris up in the attic who's been there for the past couple of days.
The next scene is followed by Chris and everyone up in the attic and Chris says a special summoning spell he's been working on summoning someone. The white lights twirl and there is a girl w/ the infamous Halliwell dark long hair staring back at them.
The girl is in complete shock "CHRIS?" steps out of the crystals and turns (solid) "Chris what on earth is going on?" w/ a stern look.
Chris turns around and faces everybody (tco's and Leo) "Everybody this is Mel, my sister Prudence Melinda Halliwell, Mom Dad your daughter"
everyone looks back at Chris with puzzled looks.
Mel says strongly "Chris! what have you done? Oh wait don't tell me, We're in the PAST! Chris this is completely wrong."
Chris replies "Mel I had to, I have to stop Wyatt."
The fight between Chris and Mel begins.
"Oh yeah and you just HAD to drag me along? Chris come on now! We are going back to where we belong RIGHT NOW, there is a reason why time travel is not suppose to be messed with."
"Mel some of us haven't cast spells in the future and sent ourselves to our own little fantasy planes.(In the future Mel is a master of spells and casts spells creating her own fantasy world on a different plane as to get away from all the turmoil) You have not seen what I have. Wyatt is evil and is destroying the world and I am going to stop it."
"Chris, you can't mess with the future your not only messing with your life and mine but EVERYONE'S. Come on NOW. (she chants a spell that opens a portal)"
"NO, I am not leaving till I have finished what I came here to do."
"The portal is waiting and I'm not leaving without you, now get in!"
Piper stepping in "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa just everybody CALM DOWN and tell me what on earth is going on here. And why I was informed of Chris but not of his twin before I gave birth and just among a million other things."
Mel says "The same reason why Chris, you are leaving with me now and going back to where we belong" and she begins to pull Chris over to the portal.
Piper stepping up "CHRIS (pause) MEL GET YOUR @#%ES BACK HERE RIGHT NOW! you BOTH have some explaining to do and for goodness sakes close that thing up (the portal)"....

Mel waves her wand and the portal closes up. She lowers her head and shakes it. And when she raises it up there is tears in her eyes. “Listen everyone no matter how much I would love to stay here and help Chris out and see all of you (pause) it’s just not right...”<br>Paige interrupts. “We know we know revealing some things could change the future forever Chris has already told us that line a thousand times, literally!”<br>“Well I’m proud to see he has done something right (Mel exchanges glances at Chris and he smiles) but what he says is right and...”<br>Paige interrupts again “Yeah we all know the whole thing about not wanting to change the future but if you haven’t noticed that’s the whole reason Chris is here. He came to keep Wyatt from turning evil and I would think that would be changing the future a whole lot!”<br>Phoebe who has been quiet the whole time steps up “ Yeah, but what I’m wondering is why Chris brought you here instead of just telling us about you.”<br>everyone turns and faces Chris once again wondering what is going through his head.
Chris throws is head back looks back down at the floor and faces everyone. “Because I need Mel’s help. Alright, you satisfied?”<br>Mel responds “What Chris? You find a few MAJOR flaws in your little plan or did you even have a plan to begin with?”<br>“Yeah I do have a plan. It’s to keep Wyatt from turning evil. And yeah it might have a few flaws in it but at least I’m trying to do something about it, unlike somebody! (Mel looks away) What‘s the matter sis? hunh? You know you put a whole new meaning to the saying ‘can‘t handle the heat get out of the kitchen’. You couldn’t take what Wyatt had done to the world and you just ran away, just left me to deal with it. (he pauses) Yeah maybe what I am doing is wrong but somebody once said maybe doing the wrong thing is the right thing to do. You’ve been there you’ve seen it. The world was in complete chaos and it‘s gotten worse. If I can do something to stop it you better believe I’m going to do it. So if you don’t want to help me then just leave. Besides (Chris chuckles) leaving is what you do best, isn’t it?” Chris glares at his sister.
Phoebe starts in but Piper pulls her back and shakes her head “Let them handle this.”<br>Mel looks around “Fine” turns around faces the wall “There I stood, here I am, open a door, to take me back, where I belong” She waves her hand across the wall and a blue swirly portal opens back up. She looks at Chris.
Chris responds “I’m not leaving.”<br>Mel jumps into the portal.
everyone looks at Chris
“Why do every time something happens you all stare at me?” Chris exclaims.
All of a sudden a portal opens back up and Mel falls through. They all glance at each other.
Mel stands up and looks around. “What?, Chris? what happened?”<br>“DON’T LOOK AT ME!” Chris shouts innocently.
Leo who has been quiet the whole time steps forward “No, Chris didn’t do anything, you did.”<br>“What are you talking about?” Mel still a little confused.
“You asked for a door to take you to where you belong.” Leo laughs. “I’m guessing that’s here for now.”<br>Mel looks at him chuckles. “Figures, just my luck!” and shakes her head.
They all laugh.....

The scene opens up and Mel and Chris are standing in Chris’s room at P3.
“THERE is noooo way I’m staying here with you!” Mel exclaims.
“What’s your problem now?”<br>“YOU, your a complete SLOB! Look at this place, it‘s a mess!”<br>Chris looks around and shrugs. “I like it.”<br>“You would”<br>“Well if your not going to stay here then where are you going to stay? Or do you have a load of money in the past to pay for a hotel?”<br>Mel looks around. “Hmmm... Well I guess I’m just going to have to clean up.” Mel looks at a pile of clothes and throws her hands at them just like Piper does and blew them up.
“THOSE WERE MY CLOTHES!” Chris shouts. And he waves his hand throwing Mel up against the wall.
Mel stands up and goes to blow Chris up and the power throws him onto the bed. He stands up and TK’s Mel onto the dresser. He goes to wave his arm to throw her up against another wall and she freezes his arm.
Chris looks at his arm. “unfreeze it NOW”<br>“Not until you stop acting like a two year old.”<br>“WHO'S acting like a two year old?” and he goes to wave his other hand and Mel freezes that one too. Chris struggles through the freeze and unfreezes his arms. He then quickly waves Mel up against a wall and she uses her power to shove him up against a wall. As they both sit on the floor wore out Mel says, “Okay we are getting nothing accomplished! I mean look at this place it looks worse than it did before (They both look around laughing to themselves)”<br>Chris laughs "Truce?"
"Truce" Mel looks around "So you about ready to explain to me what exactly I am doing here, even though don’t think for a second I approve of it.”<br>“Yeah, but admit it, it’s kind of nice getting to see everyone again.”<br>“I guess. I’m still kind of ticked at them for leaving us though.”<br>“Mel, it’s not like they had a choice.”<br>“They always had a choice. They didn’t have to keep fighting.”<br>“It’s their destiny.”<br>“Destiny meshistiny. They had kids, they had us to look after, they should have taken the fact that...”<br>“Hey I thought we called a truce.”<br>"You brought it up"
"Come on lets quit fighting long enough for me to explain to you what’s going on and why you’re here while we get this dump cleaned up to your satisfaction.”<br>“Alright, but I’m thinking this place is going to need more than a little elbow grease and some Mr. Clean. Like a little magical cleaning.”<br>“Mel I know you’ve decided to screw the whole personal gain thing but I haven’t. Besides a little work would do you good, your looking a little puny these days.”<br>Mel rolls her eyes and smiles.

The next scene takes you to Leo, Piper, Phoebe and Paige all sitting around in the living room.
Phoebe “They’re not taking my room”<br>Paige “Well they ain’t going to stay in my room”<br>Piper “Well they can’t just stay at P3. They should stay here in the house with all of us.”<br>Leo “I agree with Piper.”<br>Phoebe exclaims “Oh my goodness are we witnessing a miracle, you two agreeing on something?”<br>Piper says “Hey, its not that uncommon of a thing.”<br>Phoebe rolls her eyes and Paige says “Yeah un-huh sure”<br>Phoebe says “Besides Piper I mean there isn’t enough room. Not only is there the grown up twins to worry about but you have the baby twins to wonder about also.”
Piper “I know, I’m already feeling bad for having all three of the kids in the nursery cramped together.”
Paige “Yeah another room around here wouldn’t hurt. And the kids are going to grow up in a few years and need something bigger than a nursery even after Chris and Mel return to the future.”<br>Just then Chris and Mel orbed in covered in grease and dirt.
Paige exclaims “Well speak of the devils, maybe you guys can help out here”<br>Mel responds “Man I sure am being asked to help out an awful lot (she exchanges a glance with Chris). But what’s the problem?”<br>Piper pips up “Nothing! I just figured it out.”<br>Mel a little confused “What’s that?”<br>Piper says “Well it just doesn’t feel right having you two stay at P3 so we’re going to fix up the basement for you to stay in while you’re here.”<br>Chris and Mel lean onto each other wore out. Chris says “You have got to be kidding me.”<br>Mel “Yeah, please don’t tell me we just got done cleaning and scrubbing our room at P3 for 3 hours for nothing!”<br>Chris says “And there is no way we can stay in the basement.”<br>Leo confused asks “Why can’t you? I would think you guys would be excited about getting to stay in the manor.”<br>Chris trying to think of an excuse “Because we...”<br>Mel noticing what’s going on pips in “Because there is no way I am sleeping with the boogie man under my bed, and if we stay in the basement there will LITERALLY be a boogie man sleeping under my bed! It just ain’t happenin.”<br>Chris looking relieved says “Yeah, thanks but no thanks. The room at P3 is fine.”<br>Phoebe looks at the two “My you two sure are getting along better now. The last time we saw you, you looked like you were ready to blow each other up.”<br>The twins exchange glances and Mel says “Yeah we tried.”<br>Piper and Leo “YOU WHAT?”<br>Just then there is cries and loud screams from the baby monitor.
Piper gasps “Oh no, the babies!” Leo and Piper take off running towards the nursery.
At that moment a demon shimmers in and throws a fireball at Paige. Paige orbs and the fireball misses her.
Mel exclaims questionably, “Kenny?”<br>The demon sees Mel and is caught off guard, looking surprised and confused, he quickly shimmers out...

Phoebe and Paige look at Mel.
Phoebe sternly looks at her niece “So who’s Kenny? Besides a demon that just tried to fry us.”<br>Mel defensively responds “Kenny isn’t a demon.”<br>Phoebe snaps back “Oh yeah well. I’m sorry but I don’t know a whole lot of other magical creatures besides demons that shimmer and throw fireballs. So if you do, then please inform me of them.”<br>Chris looks at his sister with comfort “Mel, that wasn’t Kenny. It‘s not possible.”<br>Mel says, “But Chris it looked just like him. But you’re right it’s not possible.”<br>Phoebe steps in, “Hold it you two. Look we obviously have a demon after us. And you called him Kenny and he seemed to recognize you Mel...”<br>Paige buts in “Look we’re not going to get much out of these two I can already tell. Let’s go check the Book Of Shadows.”<br>Chris says, “It’s not going to help you this time.”<br>“Oh and why not?” Paige responds.
“Because you’re not going to find him in there.” Chris says.
Phoebe says “And why is that?”<br>Mel speaks up “Because Kenny isn’t a demon and he isn't in the Book of Shadows! (she blinks back some tears and quietly finishes) He was our whitelighter.”<br>Paige “And since when do whitelighters have demonic-like powers?”<br>Mel quietly says “I don’t know.” and walks out.
Leo and Piper walk in holding the two newborns and look at everyone.
Piper spots the wall where the fireball ended up hitting, “What happened in here? (she looks around) and where’s Mel?”<br>Paige says, “Cliff notes? We were attacked by a demon, Mel called him Kenny, he recognized her, ran off, Mel said Kenny wasn’t a demon but their (pointing to the babies) whitelighter, and left.”<br>Leo exclaims, “WHAT?! why didn’t you guys holler for us?”<br>Phoebe says, “It just all kind of happened so fast... And besides you were looking in on my new nephew and niece.” (Phoebe walks over to Leo and Piper and starts goo gooing at the babies. “Yes, yes your so cuuute. Yes yes you are. My little nephew and niece.”<br>Chris speaks up, “Please, I think I still have nightmares of that face smotherin me.”<br>Phoebe looks at Chris and her mouth drops open. “UUUH!... (she smiles real big) Well I guess we can’t change the future then can we.” And goes back to playing with the babies.
Chris rolls his eyes and then him and Paige walk over to Leo and Piper and the babies who have sat down on the couch now and started holding the babies with Phoebe.
Chris laughs while holding baby Chris, “Boy, it sure feels weird seeing AND holding my younger self.”<br>They all continue to sit around holding the little ones and playing with Wyatt who woke up from his nap and was brought into the living room.
The next scene takes you to the twins’ room at P3. Chris walks in and Mel is sitting at a desk with a bunch of papers. She sees Chris and covers up what she is working with, with some other papers on the desk.
“Hey bub” she says
“Hey, watchya working on?”<br>“Oh nothin important... I’ve been thinking...”<br>“About?”<br>“You were right...”<br>Chris interrupts, “Can you repeat that I don’t think I caught what you just said.”<br>Mel laughs, “I said you were right”<br>Chris says, “Hold on let me go get a tape recorder because I think I just heard you say that I was right.”<br>Mel says “I did, now shrink that head of yours.”<br>“Okay, okay, so what was it that I was right about?”<br>“About that not being Kenny. I mean it’s not possible (pause) but there was something in his eyes, something, I don’t know what it was, it wasn’t Kenny though, but it was so familiar, like I’ve seen it before, I just can‘t put my finger on it...”<br>

Leo orbs into the attic. Paige and Phoebe are by the Book of Shadows and Piper is sitting in a chair resting. Chris and Mel orb into the attic right behind him.
Chris says, “What’s up?”<br>Piper responds, “Well, whether or not the demon who attacked was your whitelighter, the fact remains that we still have a demon after us.”<br>Phoebe says, “Yeah Chris, I’m kind of surprised at you, normally you would have been all over us to vanquish the demon, because he ‘might be the evil that gets to Wyatt’.”<br>Mel sticks up for her brother, “HEY! lighten up.”<br>Paige stepping in, “Hey! You haven’t had him on your tail about every single demon that attacks for the past so many months.”<br>Mel looks at her with a sarcastic smirk, “Past so many months? Have you forgotten that he’s been my twin and on my tail for over the past two DECADES!”<br>Chris playing referee settling the girls down, “That’s enough! You guys are right we need to be focusing on the demon at hand here. And Phoebe, no I haven’t forgotten about the demon, actually that’s what me and Mel were discussing before you hollered for us.”<br>Piper asks looking up tired, “Well look if he’s just a demon then why don’t we just wait for him to attack and I’ll blow him up.”<br>Mel responds, “I’m afraid it’s not going to be that easy.”<br>Leo says, “I agree. When I talked to the Elders they said they didn’t know anything about this demon.”<br>Chris replies “They wouldn’t, because Mel and I think that the demon was sent by Wyatt disguised as Kenny, maybe to baffle me long enough to catch me off guard, I don’t know.”<br>“That still doesn’t explain why the demon acted like he recognized Mel.” Phoebe replies.
Mel speaks up “Well really no one knew I was here, until now. I didn’t even know I was coming so whoever it was just expected all of you and Chris. Probably when they saw me, THEY were caught off guard and that’s what startled them.”<br>“So do you guys have any idea who it is?” asks Leo.
Chris says “No, just that it’s probably one of Wyatt’s little ‘deminions’.”<br>Mel tells them “Yeah and whoever it is, is either powerful enough to shape shift or Wyatt gave him a little Magical boost before he left the future. And that probably means more powers than just a lower level demon, which isn‘t good for us.”<br>Phoebe asks “So what’s the plan?”<br>Chris says “There isn’t one, yet.”<br>Mel replies “We’re thinking maybe set up the demon alarm system around the house...”<br>Mel is interrupted as the demon shimmers in. Mel looks the demon straight in the eye and he fires a fireball at her. Chris waves his hand using his power to throw Mel out of the way of the fireball. The fireball smashes into the couch blowing it up. Piper then quickly reacts and blows the demon up.”
Piper nods her head and dusts her hands off, “And who said I couldn’t just blow him up?”<br>Leo shouts, “Yeah but Piper why didn’t you freeze him that way we could find out what he was doing here.”<br>Piper says, “Well Leo, honestly I’m not that worried, if that’s the best Wyatt can do then let him bring it on.”<br>Mel, who has just been helped to her feet by Chris, laughs sarcastically, “The best Wyatt can do? I’m sorry to inform you but that’s not even the icing off the cake!”<br>Chris says, “Mel’s right. I don’t think Wyatt had any doubts about us vanquishing him. I think that demon was just a warning.”<br>Phoebe asks, “Then why go through all the work of disguising him as Kenny?”<br>Chris shakes his head, “I don’t know. But you better believe I’m going to find out.”

It is late that night and Piper is laying in her bed resting while reading a book. There is a knock and she sees Leo standing in the doorway.
Leo asks her softly, “May I come in?”<br>Piper laughs, “It still feels weird for you to ask.” Leo nods and looks at Piper. “Oh yeah I forgot. Yes you can come in.” Piper says with a smile.
Leo comes in and sits down on the edge of Piper’s bed while Piper closes up her book and sits it on her nightstand.
Leo glances towards the nursery, “Are the babies asleep?”<br>Piper responds, “Yeah I just put them to bed a few minutes ago.”<br>He nods. “Piper uh.... (he pauses trying to decide whether he wants to finish or not.)”<br>“What is it Leo?”<br>He reaches for her hand and holds it. They stare into each other's eyes. “Piper you mean the whole world to me. You always have and you know that I will always love you and (he smiles) our three wonderful children.”
Piper smiles back at him “I love you too, Leo. I would never have made it this far without you. Being a charmed one, moving on after Prue died, accepting Paige (she smiles) and you can’t forget that I could never have had those three wonderful children without you.”<br>They laugh and Leo says, “Yeah, that might have been a bit of a problem.”<br>Leo swallows and Piper notices it and says, “What’s wrong?”<br>Leo fights to keep tears back. “Being able to be with you while you gave birth to Chris and Mel was amazing and it was great getting to spend the past week with you.” He lowers his head. “When I went up to ask the Elders today about the demon they told me...”<br>Piper shakes her head and whispers, “No Leo”<br>“I’m sorry Piper. I have to go, there isn’t anything I can do to change it. The elders are right, I’m an elder now (he pauses then begins back barely able to speak) I have to start acting like an elder, for good.”<br>Piper pulls her hand away and tears come to her eyes, she turns away from Leo.
“Piper please don’t make this any harder. If I could change it I would. You know I would. I love you and our children more than ANYTHING in the world.”<br>Piper turns back around with tears flowing. “NO LEO! You can’t leave me now! I can’t do this alone, I need you more than anything right now. Do you hear me?! I... need you. (Piper begins trembling) I... I can’t possible do all of this by myself. You can’t expect me to be a charmed one, take care of the club, AND take care of three children all on my own. Screw the elders, tell them your through with being an elder. Come back to being our whitelighter... please Leo.”<br>Leo reaches for Piper and hugs her. He wipes back some tears from Piper‘s face, “Piper you know I can’t do that.”<br>Piper pulls away “What?! You can’t be a FATHER to your children? Your just going to leave me here to do all of this on my own. Well I can’t Leo! I can’t and I won’t! You tell the elders if they don’t let you come back down here d@$%it and be my whitelighter, husband, and the father to our kids I am going to quit being their precious charmed one! And I MEAN IT THIS TIME!!!” Piper shouts and then just falls apart in Leo’s arms bawling.
Leo holds her tight and whispers into her ear, “I’m so sorry Piper (he pauses and a determined look appears in his eyes) I’m going to fix this. I’m going to find away, I promise you, we’re going to be together again.”<br>Piper looks up at Leo pleading.
The couple share a deep passionate kiss and Leo hugs Piper then orbs out.
Piper wipes her eyes and walks into the nursery and looks in on her babies.

The next day Phoebe is headed to work and about that time Mel walks through the front door in a new set of clothes.
Phoebe not noticing Mel ,yet, hollers in at Paige who is in the kitchen working on a potion, “PAIGE I’M LEAVING FOR WORK.”<br>Paige responds, “OKAY”<br>“HEY BE SURE AND KEEP AN EYE ON PIPER, AND DON’T LET CHRIS DO ANYTHING STUPID UP IN THE ATTIC.”<br>Paige hollers back, “I WILL AND I WON’T. HAVE A GOOD DAY AT WORK, DON’T TURN ANYONE INTO ANY TURKEYS.”<br>Phoebe laughs grabs her purse and catches eye of Mel, “Wow look at you!”<br>Mel twirls around, “You likes?”<br>“Yeah, just how?”<br>“How what?”<br>“How did you pay for those clothes, you don’t have any money in the past do you?”<br>Mel laughs, “Nooo, but who says you have to have money to go shopping?”<br>Phoebe replies, “Umm maybe the law that says stealing is illegal?”<br>“Oh Phoebe I didn’t steal these, I simply borrowed them.”<br>Phoebe’s eyes bug out, “WHAT?!”<br>“No, no not like that. I just cast a spell over an outfit I see in a magazine or anywhere that just lasts twenty-four hours and wahlaa.” Mel twirls around again.
“Uh yeah... Honey wouldn’t that be a little bit like personal gain?”<br>“Yeah so? who cares?”<br>“The elders?”<br>“Yeah well the elders can just take their personal gain crap and shove it up their rears!” Mel smiles real big sarcastically.
Phoebe responds, “Whoa! Talk about a bad case of ‘mother like daughter’.”<br>Mel rolls her eyes, “Yeah yeah so where’s my brother on this wonderful day?”<br>Phoebe asks, “Which one? Which age?”<br>Mel says, “Chris of course, you know the one who brought me here.”<br>“Oh well with all of you running around its hard to tell. Anyways he’s been up in the attic all morning working on something.”<br>“Okay thanks”<br>“No problem. Well I’m off to work you have a...”<br>Phoebe is interrupted as there is loud cries from the nursery.

Everyone runs into the nursery and sees the demon that looks like Kenny standing beside the twins crib reaching in for baby Chris.
Piper exclaims, “Get your demon paws of my baby!” she tries to blow him up but he shimmers out just in time to avoid it.
The demon then shimmers in behind Chris, grabs him, and shimmers out. Everybody stands around in shock with looks on their faces asking everybody else ‘what do we do now?’ Piper runs over to the twins who are screaming at the top of their lungs now and picks them up and starts bouncing them up and down shushing them.
Piper murmurs to the twins, “It’s okay, its okay, everything is going to be alright. Don‘t you worry now, we‘re going to fix this.” She looks up at everyone else with a worried look on her face.
Paige says, “You’re right Piper we are going to fix this but I thought we already vanquished the ‘Kenny’ demon.
Mel quietly says, “One of them anyways.”<br>The sisters look at her and Phoebe says, “What do you know?”<br>“Nothing much, just that the first demon that attacked wasn’t the same one that we vanquished yesterday.” Mel responds.
Paige asks curiously, “And how do you know that? I mean they looked alike and both shimmered and threw fireballs.”<br>Mel says “Yeah well I just do.”<br>Piper looks at her sternly, “No time for the guessing game Mel, Chris is in danger. How do you know?!”<br>Mel looks away.
Piper says, “Look at me!” Mel looks at Piper and Piper asks her again, “How do you know?”<br>Mel says “Its nothing big its just... the look in the first demon’s eye was so familiar to me but it wasn’t Kenny, and then the one that we vanquished... I looked him straight in the eye yesterday and it wasn’t there, it wasn’t the same one.”<br>Piper looks at her strangely trying to decide if that is all she knows and decides to ask her, “So is that everything or are you being just like your brother and only telling us half the truth?”<br>Mel says, “Look don’t you think we need to be more worried about finding Chris right now?”<br>Piper looks Mel straight in the eye but Phoebe interrupts, “Mel’s right, lets all head downstairs in the living room where Wyatt is. Paige you go grab the map and crystal, we’ll try scrying for Chris but I’m sure the demon probably took him to the underworld.”<br>Paige says, “I’m on it!”<br>Phoebe walks over to Piper and takes Mel from her, “Here sis I’ll give you a little hand with my ‘oh so cute niece’(as she rubs noses with the baby).” She looks up at Mel and winks.
They all start heading down the stairs and all of a sudden older Mel screams, “AAAAAAHHH!” she grabs for her head like she has a major migraine. “Ooooow! HE’S HURTING HIM! AAAAAAH!!!!”<br>Phoebe runs to her and tries comforting her, “Honey what’s wrong, who’s hurting who?”<br>Mel is able to spit out, “Chris..... the demon.... he’s hurting Chris (Mel begins crying)... I can feel his pain... quick we got to save him...” Mel squints in pain while still holding onto her head.
Piper says, “Alright lets get her downstairs and lay her down on the couch I’ll call for Leo maybe he knows something or can help us find Chris.” She begins to shout for Leo, “LEO...(no answer) LEO?!... (still no answer) where is he?”<br>They all meet downstairs in the living room and Paige begins scrying for Chris. Phoebe and Piper set the babies down in the baby crib and help lay Mel down on the couch.
Piper notices that Leo hasn‘t answered her call yet, “LEO WHERE ARE YOU? WE NEED YOU SO GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE NOW!”<br>Phoebe gives her a comforting arm, “It’s okay Piper calm down I’m sure he’s just really busy, you know since he’s suppose to be a full time elder now...”<br>Piper says, “Phoebe don’t even. Leo would come no matter what he is if we need him, and we need him now. LEO?!”<br>Phoebe says, “Piper, we’ve got it Paige is going to be able to scry for Chris and find him and we’ll just go in and vanqu....”<br>Phoebe is interrupted as Paige says, “Pheebs its not going to be that easy, I’ve been scrying for Chris and I’m getting nowhere!”<br>Piper rushes towards her and says, “Here let me try.”<br>Mel stands up and Phoebe tries to sit her back down, “No, honey you need to lay down, we’ll figure out a way to find Chris, don’t worry.”<br>But Mel refuses and begins to mumble out a spell, “Across the skies through the heavens one we began two we became let me leave here and send me there to where my other half lies.”<br>Bright lights (like the ones when somebody is summoned) swirl around Mel and she disappears.

In the underworld Chris is laying on the ground badly hurt and unconscious, the bright lights swirl and Mel appears. Mel sees her brother and kneels down beside him, tears come to her eyes and she stares at him, then she puts her hands over his wounds and the yellow light appears from her hands as she begins to heal him.
There is footsteps and a shout, “Quick I heard something in here!”
A demon appears and says, “WITCH!”<br>Mel turns around and blows up the demon. She turns back around to try and finish healing Chris but another Demon appears and she blows him up, another throws a fireball at her scraping her shoulder she blows him up and continues healing Chris.
Mel whispers as she‘s struggling to heal Chris, “Come on Chris, come on!”<br>Two more demons appear and Mel turns back around and blows them up.
She goes back to healing Chris, he slowly begins to wake up he says still a little bit out of it, “Mel?”<br> Mel shakes him, “Quick orb us out of here!”<br>They orb out just in time for three fireballs to collide right where they had sat.
Demons gather in to see what the noise was all about.
A demon runs in looking like Kenny and looks around and shouts sternly, “What happened? Where’s Chris?”<br>A demon speaks up, “The sister came for him.”<br>The demon that looks like Kenny changes into a taller handsome young man with dark hair, “Did you hurt her?”<br>Another demon says, “Hytes scraped her shoulder before she blew him up, its a shame he wasn‘t a better shot.” And smiles.
The rest of the demons chuckle to themselves.
“You think that’s funny, huh?”<br>One scrawny demon with a big nose chuckles, “Yeah I can’t wait to get my hands on that witch! I’ll make her day and then I’ll put her lights out!”<br>The others begin cheering.
The handsome demon looks around, “All of you think that’s a great idea do you?”<br>There’s a bunch of cheers and “Aye's”<br>The handsome demon spits fire from his hand and vanquishes all of the demons! He then says, “Well I don’t.”<br>A blue puddle begins to appear underneath him resembling a portal and he is sucked through it.

Back at the manor Chris and Mel orb into the living room. Everyone gathers around to see if Chris is okay but Mel faints from the womb on her shoulder.
Paige gasps, “Oh no!”<br>Piper shouts, “LEO GET YOUR *** DOWN HER NOW! WE NEED YOU!”<br>There is still no response from Leo.
Piper exclaims, “Where the hell is he?!”<br>Phoebe says, “I don’t know but we should probably get Mel to a hospital.”<br>Chris shouts, “NO!”<br>The sisters look at him like he’s crazy.
Piper says, “Chris, she’s hurt bad! She needs help.”<br>Chris says, “I know Mom but trust me we just need to get her conscious, she’ll be fine.”<br>Piper looks at him questionably and not taking her eyes off Chris says, “Phoebe go get a wet wash cloth and some bandages.”<br>

Phoebe returns with a wet wash cloth, some bandages, and other first aid kit stuff. She sets it down by Piper, who’s standing by the couch next to Mel, while she runs to go check her cell phone that is ringing.
Phoebe says, “Oh great it’s Elise calling. Probably wants me to come into work but I’m not leaving until we find out if Mel is okay.” And she hangs up on the incoming call.
Piper says, “It’s okay Phoebe you can go ahead and leave, I’m sure we’ll figure something out.” She glances over at Chris who is setting in the chair bent over with his head in his hands.
Paige comes over and starts wiping Mel’s face and neck with the wet wash cloth as Piper begins work on the bandages.
Phoebe says, “No, I’m not leaving until Mel is alright.” She walks over to Chris, bends down next to him and puts her arm around him. “She’s going to be alright” half stating half questioning.
Chris looks up and his eyes are a little red as he responds, “I know Phoebe, she just needs to get conscious and she’ll be fine. I just can’t help thinking that its my fault that she’s lying there hurt right now.”<br>Phoebe gives Chris a comforting squeeze, “It’s not your fault honey, you didn’t know that that demon was going to kidnap you, and your sister did what she had to in order to help you.”<br>Paige looks over at Chris, “Phoebe’s right Chris, but how do you know that she’ll be fine once she’s conscious, she‘s hurt pretty bad and loss quite a bit of blood? And without Leo answering our calls...”<br>Chris says quietly, “Because she can heal herself.”<br>Piper looks up from where she’s tending to Mel, “She can heal?”<br>Chris replies, “Yeah how do you think I came back without a scratch on me?”<br>Just then as Piper finishes with Mel’s bandages, Mel begins to wake up.
Still a bit groggy Mel looks up at Piper, “Mom?”<br>Piper smiles because that is the first time Mel has called her ‘mom’ and says, “Yeah honey, it’s me.”<br>Mel starts to sit up but Paige puts her hand on her other shoulder and says, “No, you need to rest you took quite a hit there.”<br>Mel looks at her bandage shoulder, “It’s okay.” and takes her other hand and holds it over her hurt shoulder as the yellow glow appears and the wound heals.
Piper looks at Mel still smiling, “My little girl a healer.” as Mel begins to unwrap the bandages Piper laughs, “After all my hard work of putting that bandage on you your just going to get up and take it right off?”<br>Mel says, “Yeah, thanks but ain’t much sense in me keeping it on here now.”<br>Phoebe’s cell phone rings again.
Phoebe jumps up, “Well now that I know that your going to be fine I better get to work before Elise has a cow, I think we’re suppose to have some big meeting with the President of another big time magazine. We have so many anymore I can’t keep track.” Phoebe runs around gives Mel a big hug and says, “Try and dodge them demons next time, you scared me a little bit there.”<br>Mel laughs and says, “I’ll work on it.”<br>Phoebe then grabs her purse and runs out the door. Everyone sits around for a second then Phoebe runs back in.
She exclaims, “Guess I might need my keys to drive my car.” Everyone laughs and she grabs her keys and runs back out the door.

The next scene opens up in a big time office with a desk and a tall black chair with its back to the desk and two bodyguards stand on either side of the desk. A blue portal opens up from the ceiling and the handsome looking demon that we saw earlier in the underworld falls through onto the floor. The chair wheels around and who else is it than Mr. Wyatt Halliwell himself.
He looks at the two bodyguard demons and motion for them to leave, they shimmer out, then Wyatt looks at the demon that is now getting to his feet, “Eric, Eric, Eric, what am I going to do with you?”<br>Eric glares back at him.
Wyatt says, “You know if you weren’t my best friend I would vanquish you right now. Actually I probably would have vanquished you a long time ago when you went behind my back and dated my sister. Specifically after I said she was off limits.” He gets up and walks around to the other side of his desk and leans up against it and looks at Eric, “You would think that if I sent not only my second hand demon but my trusted friend that the job I asked to get done, would get done! But instead the whole army of demons that I send with him is vanquished.”<br>Eric looks back at him, “Hey you sent them on the suicide mission, you knew they were going to get vanquished by your mother and aunts anyway.”<br>Wyatt raises his voice a little bit, “Yeah but they didn’t vanquish them, YOU DID!”<br>Eric raises his eyebrows and kind of shrugs his shoulders.
Wyatt scratches his head, “Eric, it seems now that Mel has showed up in the past it has complicated things a bit and oh lets see here made this a little personal for you.” He turns around to his desk grabs a pen and hands it to Eric.
Eric confused asks, “What’s this for?”<br>Wyatt says, “You’re new job my friend.”<br>Eric asks, “WHAT?”<br>“I’m assigning somebody new to this job since you can no longer handle it.”<br>Eric exclaims, “No you can’t Wyatt! This is my job, I can get it done. Your demon army was just annoying me a bit, and a little bit in my way!”<br>Wyatt puts a hand up silencing him, “Eric don’t push me! I’m doing this as a favor and if you know what’s good for you, you will take that pen and go start pushing papers, rather than having me vanquish you.”<br>Eric looks at him pleadingly, “Wyatt?”
“Eric. No! This is your last time, I’m not going to give you a chance to screw up again, because I really would hate to vanquish you, we’ve only been best friends since we were 8.” Eric starts to butt in but Wyatt stops him, “NOW GO! Lou will show you what to do. And when this problem is all taken care of, then I will call you, WHEN I have a new job for you.”<br>Eric turns around and walks out slamming the door behind him. He walks through a room with a secretary and a bunch of evil creatures waiting to see Wyatt. And into a room with another secretary that is older, a little plump, and gentle looking.
Eric bends down next to her and lays the pen in front of her, “Hey Aunt Lou.”<br>She looks at the pen and then up at him, “What did you do this time?”<br>“Kind of vanquished a small portion of Wyatt’s army.”<br>“Let me guess, Mel?”<br>He smiles, “They were getting a few ideas that I didn’t agree with.”<br>She smiles back at him, “Eric, Eric.” she says while shaking her head and then asks, “Well what is it that you want me to put you to work with?”<br>He says, “Not what I want you to put me to work with but what I want to put you to work with.”<br>“What?”<br>He walks over and sits down in the chair on the other side of her desk and leans forward towards her, “I need you to send me back.”<br>“Back where? To the past?”<br>“Yes Aunt Lou. You know that nobody can write a better time traveling spell than you.” He smiles big.
She returns the smile at his buttering up, “Eric, I don’t want you getting caught up into anything that could get you into big trouble.”<br>“Oh come on Aunt Lou, I care for her and I have to make sure whoever Wyatt sends doesn’t hurt her. And besides I got a job to finish.”<br>“Oh yeah I’m sure that’s going to thrill her. Hey Mel I love you but I got to kill your twin.”<br>He smiles slyly “Oh she’ll come around.”<br>“But Eric he’s such a cutie and Lizzie is single again. I think they would make a cute couple, I always have. So can’t you at least spare him and then you won’t have to worry about Mel being angry with you.”<br>Eric responds angrily, “Aunt Lou, Lizzie can do A LOT better than Chris Halliwell! And besides Mel is already angry with me for not standing up against Wyatt. You know I’m evil and all.” He says the last sentence with a sly grin. “Now come on Aunt Lou, be the bad witch that you are and send me back” He gives her a cute little kid smile.
Lou smiles and says, “Okay, but you be careful.”<br>“Your the best Aunt Lou!” And Eric reaches across the desk and gives her a big hug. “Oh and by the way make sure you make it to where Wyatt can’t track me and bring me back.”<br>Aunt Lou nods her head “Anything for you! Now give your Aunt Lou a kiss before you jet out of here.” She leans her cheek towards him and he gives her a kiss on the cheek. “I’ll have that spell ready for you tomorrow morning to pick up.”
Eric replies, “Thanks so much Aunt Lou!” And shimmers out.
Lou smiles to herself, “That boy, I tell you. (she pauses thinking then chuckles) I still think that Chris would be a perfect match for my little Lizzie though.” And goes back to work.

Yeah I am reposting it. I had all but the last couple of chapters posted at the Old Charmed Cafe.


It’s the next afternoon and Mel walks through the front door to the manor. She sees Phoebe kick Eric in the stomach as Paige starts to orb an athame through his chest.
Mel freezes the athame and Eric as she yells, “STOP! What are you doing?!”<br>Phoebe and Paige look at the athame and then glare at Mel.
Paige responds sarcastically, “Oh I don’t know, maybe trying to vanquish a demon! Now if you don’t mind.”<br>Mel says, “Actually I do mind.” She walks over grabs the athame and unfreezes Eric.
Eric looks at Mel relieved, “Thanks Mel, now can you tell your aunts that I’m not here to hurt them.”<br>Mel glares at him, “No I can’t. Because I don’t know if you are or not. (she looks at him trying to decide) What are you doing here anyways? Isn’t this a little bit out of your time period?”<br>Eric says, “Oh and you have room to talk.”<br>Mel pushes the athame up to his throat, “I would suggest that you cut the wise cracks.”<br>Eric sticks his hands up in the air, “Hey whoa whoa Mel easy there. I’m not here to hurt you.”<br>“Oh and who are you here to hurt.” Mel asks sternly.
Eric says, “Mel you should know me better than that, I’m not here to hurt...”<br>Mel freezes him, “Got to love this power when you want to shut somebody up.”<br>Just then Chris orbs in and says, “Hey what’s goin....” He looks at Eric and then at Mel, “What’s he doing here?” He asks angrily.
Mel looks at him, “Like I know.”<br>Chris says, “Well it wouldn’t surprise me if you brought him back here.”<br>“Chris! We stopped seeing each other a long time ago!” Mel exclaims.
Phoebe laughs, “Wait let me get this straight, this guy right here is Mel’s boyfriend?”<br>Mel states, “Was!”<br>Paige nods, “I guess she really is a Halliwell then.”<br>Mel says, “Yeah like you guys say, (in a mocking voice)‘You’re not a true Halliwell until you’ve dated at least two demons’.” She rolls her eyes.
Phoebe grins, “Oh yeah and how many HAVE you dated?”<br>Chris joins in, “Yeah Mel tell them.”<br>Mel looks at Chris, “How about you tell them how many YOU have dated.” and smiles.
Phoebe and Paige look at Chris.
Chris looks back, “Don’t we have something a little more important to be discussing.” As he looks towards frozen Eric.
Phoebe and Paige shake their heads.
Phoebe says, “He can wait, this can’t!”<br>Mel grins, “Yeah Chris, no fair changing the subject.”<br>Chris looks back at Mel, “Hey, how did this get switched to me!”<br>Mel smiles, “I don’t know but you better answer the question.” she says as she glances towards Paige and Phoebe.
Eric then unfreezes and looks around. Paige and Phoebe look at Mel.
Paige says, “Man your freezes don’t last long.”<br>Mel rolls her eyes, “Yeah well he is like only my older brother’s second hand man and one of the most powerful demons around.”<br>Paige chuckles and mumbles to herself, “Sounds a little bit like da ja vue to me.”<br>Phoebe looks back at her, “What was that Paige?”<br>Paige smiles and says, “Oh nothing.” then coughs, “Cole (cough cough) Cole (cough)”<br>Phoebe frowns and glares at Paige with an evil eye. Chris and Mel glance at each other with a small smile about the humor at the moment. Then Mel remembers Eric who is standing beside her.
“So, ready to tell me what your really doing here, and the truth please.” Mel says as she holds her hands up ready to freeze or blow up.
Eric puts his hands on Mel’s pushing them down, “Easy there killer. I’m not here to hurt anybody I’m here to warn you guys.”<br>Chris butts in, “We don’t need your warning. We already know that Wyatt is sending demons after us and it wouldn’t surprise me if you were the one behind it.”<br>Eric responds, “Yeah like I would try and hurt Mel. You know better than that Chris.” Scooting closer up into Chris’s face.
Chris states, “It wasn’t Mel that the demons tried kidnapping and beating to death!” Getting right up in Eric’s face about ready to TK him to the next century, literally.
Piper comes running down the steps looking worn out with dark circles under her eyes. “Hey guys I’m going to the...” she spots the boys with her hands ready for action. “What’s going on here and who are you?” nodding towards Eric.
Eric says, “I’m here to wa...”<br>Piper cuts him off and looks at Phoebe and Paige, “I’m kind of in a hurry so do you guys need me to blow him up before I run out the door?”<br>Paige says, “No Piper we got it from here.”<br>“Okay well the babies are asleep right now, keep a good eye on them and when they wake up give them their bottles...”<br>Phoebe looks at her sister strangely, “Piper where are you in a hurry to?”<br>Piper looks a bit taken back, “Well Phoebe I do have a club to take care of along with my kids. But I’m going to fix that problem right now.”<br>Paige confused asks, “And how are you going to do that? Your not thinking about selling the club are you?”<br>Piper exclaims, “No! I could never do that.” (Mel and Chris exchange glances) Piper explains, “I’m going to interview for managers for the club who are going to take care of it for me so I can stay at home and take care of my three kids. They’ll do everything I’ve been doing except any major changes to the club. I know that it will take a chunk out of how much I bring home because I’ll have to pay them but I figure with Phoebe’s job doing so well these days, that my income isn’t as important now as it was when it was the only income.”<br>Phoebe and Paige nod in agreement and Phoebe says, “It sounds like a great idea Piper, and good luck with the interviews.”<br>Paige steps up, “And don’t worry about the babies, Auntie Paige is here!”<br>Piper says, “Thanks guys.” She starts to walk out the door then turns back around and says, “Oh yeah Chris, whenever I get back home I need your help. So don’t stray to far.”<br>Chris nods, “No problem Mom.”<br>Phoebe giggles, “I love it when he calls her Mom.”<br>Chris blushes and Piper waves as she walks out the door. Then everyone turn back around and look at Eric.
Mel says to Eric, “Well?”<br>Eric says, “Well what?”<br>Mel snaps back, “Well what are you here to warn us about?”<br>Eric nods towards Chris, “Pretty much what he said. BESIDES me being the one behind it.”<br>Chris snorts. And the girls give Chris a look to ‘shut up’<br>Then Paige pipes up, “Hey I got a real quick question first.” she looks towards Chris curiously, “What ever happened to you making it so Wyatt couldn’t travel back into the past or send demons after you to stop you?”<br>Eric steps up, “I can answer that question for you. Your little nephew here ain’t much of a witch. He couldn’t stop Wyatt even if he tried, what cracks me up is that he actually thought he could keep Wyatt from traveling back.”<br>Phoebe steps in, “Hey you better watch how you talk to my nephew buddy. I’ll kick your butt back to the future where you belong!” Phoebe jumps into fighting stance.
Eric chuckles, “Calm down. You guys asked I just told you the answer.”<br>Mel says, “Look we all just need to calm down. Because personally I’m curious what was with the whole Kenny deal? And I know you know!”<br>Eric leans his head back and rocks back up on his heals, “Can we like go sit down or something, I’m a little ‘jetlagged’ and with all your questions this could take a little bit.”<br>Paige says, “Sure, listen why don’t you guys go into the living room and talk this over, I’m going to go check on the babies.”<br>Paige leaves and the rest walk into the living room and sit down.

Phoebe, Mel, Chris, and Eric all sit around the living room as Eric begins to explain what’s been going on in the future and what Wyatt has been up to.
Eric begins, “Once Wyatt was able to fix the loophole between the future and the past he decided it was time to just off Chris.” Chris rolls his eyes. Eric continues, “ At first he wanted to send some of us demons back to kill baby Chris. However the Seer...“<br>Phoebe interrupts, “I thought we got rid of her?”<br>Eric smiles, “Seers have families and she wasn’t the only one, just the main one until... Well you know. Anyway back to what I was saying. The Seer informed Wyatt that changing the destiny of a life in the past could change his past and future dramatically...”<br>Phoebe looks confused, “Wait let me get this straight. Changing whether a life dies or lives could change the future dramatically?”<br>Eric nods in agreement.
Phoebe still a bit confused says, “Then why whenever Chris saved Paige from being killed by the Titans did it not change the future dramatically?”<br>Mel looks confused now, “Because Paige was never killed by the Titans.”<br>Phoebe says, “Yeah but Chris said that (and begins to catch on) that on the day that he came back here that Paige died that day. It was another one of your lies wasn’t it Chris?”<br>Chris rolls his eyes already upset with Eric being around and nobody doing anything about it, “I had to get you guys to trust me somehow. And you wouldn’t have given me a chance unless I told you that I was actually willing to save one of your lives.”<br>Phoebe glares at Chris, “Chris. When are you ever just going to start telling us the truth? You know you can’t get us to trust you if you just keep lying to us.”<br>Chris replies, “Look Aunt Phoebe that was in the beginning, when I first came here and you guys didn’t even know who I was. Besides if you want somebody to start telling you the truth why don’t you talk to the demon you have sitting in your living room right now.”<br>Eric stands up, “Chris you haven’t even given me a chance to tell you the truth or lies. Every time I try to explain what’s been going on I get interrupted. Look if you don’t believe me then fine! But its your rear I’m trying to save here.”<br>Chris snorts, “Yeah, whatever.”<br>Mel glares at her brother, “Go ahead and talk Eric.”<br>Eric sits down a bit annoyed and says, “Well Wyatt decided then of course that he couldn’t kill baby Chris and that he would have to come after you.” Eric points at Chris. “I don’t know what was going on through his head but it definitely wasn’t one of his better plans. He didn’t want to waste much time with killing you so he just figured he would find a shape shifter and send one in the form of Kenny, (to Phoebe and Paige), the twins old whitelighter.” Eric gives a sympathetic look at Mel who looks down at the floor.
Chris states flatly while slouching in the chair by the couch, “You can shape shift.”<br>Mel looks up, “Chris, shut up.”<br>Chris sits up and says in disbelief, “Mel don’t tell me you actually believe him.”<br>Mel glares at her brother, “Chris if he really was the one sent after us, then why is he here telling us Wyatt’s plan and warning us?”<br>Chris then hurries grabs for Mel’s hand and orbs her out. They appear in their room at P3.
“Let go of me Chris! What the h*** do you think your doing?” Mel shouts angrily.
Chris says, “Hoping that now that Eric isn’t in front of you blurring your vision that you’ll see clearly!”<br>Mel snaps, “See what clearly? That my brother can be a real jerk!”<br>Chris responds, “MEL open your eyes! He’s a demon! Not to mention that he works for our brother, who is trying to kill us! Doesn’t it seem a bit strange to you that he sends a shape shifter to kill me, Eric is a shape shifter, and that when the shape shifter fails, Eric shows up!”<br>Mel looks disgusted at her brother, “Chris first of all, the demon that Piper vanquished wasn’t the same one that first attacked us and the one who kidnapped you! They were probably three different ones for all I know. And do you know how many shape shifters Wyatt has working for him? So just because Eric is a shape shifter doesn’t mean he was one of them! So back off. You know as well as I do that Eric is one of the best and if he had been sent after you, you would probably be dead right now!”<br>Chris says, “Yeah Mel have you forgotten. If it wasn’t for you I would have been dead!”<br>Mel says, “SO WHAT CHRIS! Why can’t you just see that there is good in Eric? Huh? Why do you have to be so against him? You even hated him when I was with him.”<br>Chris snaps back, “Oh yeah well maybe it’s because he’s tried to kill me. More than once!”<br>Mel replies, “Chris you know what. I don’t even feel like having this argument with you right now! I’ve already had it half a dozen times with you before and its the same thing again and again. I’m out of here.”<br>Mel begins to walk out the door as Piper opens it and steps in.
Piper asks, “Hey do you two think you can quiet it down back here. I’m trying to have an interview out there.”<br>Chris nods, “Yeah Mom, I’m sorry.” Chris looks at Mel.
Mel rolls her eyes, “Yeah whatever, I was just leaving anyways Piper.”<br>And Mel walks out.
