(My Season eight picks up when season seven ends--but with unexpected twists at every corner)
Darryl Morris steps out of the Halliwell home in a dejected manner. Although he did not witness the death of the sisters, he did see what the resulting effects were on the basement…and he knew that was not a good sign for the good side.
With his mind still anguished, he scans around the outer perimeter of the home for any signs of hope and spots three women walking away with a guy. At first, he thought nothing of it until he began to realize what could possibly have happened. Could it be that the sister witches he had known for seven years had indeed found a way to escape? He slowly gets a small grin on his face which grows to a full smile and near laugh as he begins to give a resounding “Alright!”
Full of joy, he begins to walk away from the home while leaving the front door open. However like the magic it is, the door closes by itself…or so we thought.
What we thought was Prue was in fact Darryl himself giving a quick flick of his fingers as he walked away. Yes! It was Darryl that closed the door and thus closed season seven.
Darryl is magical? You thought you knew the man, but here’s what we didn’t see as the seventh season came to a close.
On the corner of Prescott and Pine was a small car with an attractive young lady in the passenger seat. What we thought was Sheila was in fact a member of a high-ranking underworld order known as the Hounds of Hell. It appears that (seven years later) we have yet another version of a couple attempting to end the “Charmed” reign. First it was Rex and Hannah now it Darryl and Sheila.
What Happens when this new threat makes itself known and how will the sisters cope with it?
Billie Jenkins is too busy mired in her college studies to be worrying about anything else and Christy must remain stuck in that cave for now because the sisters that just faked their own death are going to get the shock of their new lives...
