Writer's Notes: This is a "What if?" story about a new Halliwell. To be honest I have only watch all of seasons 1-4 (Currently watching Season 5 on DVD), and have only caught sporadic episodes on TNT of seasons 6-8. This is the intro to the story, but I wanted to see what some of you thought of it from this point. There is still plenty more to be written as I work to unfold the intro of the new Halliwell. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

It's been nearly twenty years since the birth of Wyatt Halliwell. The child that was predicted to be the most powerful source of good magic ever known has lived up to those expectations. With the assistance of Chris Halliwell they have continued the battles of the Halliwell family now that Piper, Phoebe, and Paige have slowly been relinquishing their duties as the Charmed Ones. The Underworld has been under a constant state of rebuilding at the moment, so the battles the two brothers have faced have not lived up to the battles that their mother and aunts have endured.
With every new leader claiming the throne of evil comes their demise shortly thereafter. The two leading causes in their deaths are inner-fighting to claim the throne, and battles with the Charmed Sons. By Charmed Sons that is mostly referring to Wyatt. He was the brother that decided to keep closer to his warlock ties, and Chris to his Whitelighter ties.
The sun is starting to set in the San Fransisco sky as a demon named Kremlock and Wyatt are battling down a narrow alley between two large brick buildings. The demon was trying to kill one of Chris' charges, but was able to call for Chris when the demon appeared. After dodging a few fire balls Wyatt is able to use his powers to blow up the demon, which he got from Piper. Chris works on consoling the innocent while Wyatt looks over the powered remains of the demon.
“You know they aren't what they used to be.”
Chris looks over to Wyatt, and shakes his head a little.
“You say that every time. What do you want? A really tough fight?”
“Well I wouldn't be against it.”
The innocent looks from Chris to Wyatt, and then back again with a little confused face.
“Don't worry,” starts Chris “he just feels like he hasn't been able to use all his powers yet.”
“Well that's a good thing, isn't it?” asks the innocent.
“Yeah it is, but Wyatt here wishes otherwise. Our family has already gone through so much, and yet he wants more.”
Wyatt and Chris finally orb out of the area, and head back to the manor. When they arrive they smell something cooking from the kitchen. As they walk inside they see Piper cooking up some dinner.
“How's it going you two? Your father was able to get away from the school tonight for dinner, so can we count you two as well?”
“Sure mom.” chimed both brothers.
Just then the kitchen door opens, and in walks Leo. He looks a little tired, and worn out. The four of them start to talk about their day, and other things magic related.
Meanwhile down in the Underworld.
The throne chamber is clamoring with many voices. There are two guards standing outside the open doorway into the room. Sitting on the throne is a man with small horns, and a red suit. He is looking not at the people around him, but rather at his intertwined hands as the many try to speak.
“Sir we must do something!”
“What can we do? Those Charmed Sons are killing off all our best demons.”
“We need to stage one grand attack against them.”
“What, and eliminate the entire demon population? Remember they may not be as powerful, but the Charmed Ones are still out there as well. We are completely out powered. We launch that attack, and we all surely die.”
“So then we wait, and die then, huh?”
“My lord, there must be another way.”
The many voices try to make suggestions, and thrash them as effectively. They continue on like this for a little while. Finally a man with a deep scarlet robe standing by the throne raises his hand.
“Silence! M'lord needs a moment to consider what you have all presented to him. Please depart from the chambers, and we shall summon you when needed. Remember to stay below ground, and avoid all contact with the Charmed family. We cannot afford to lose any more of our top lieutenants.”
Begrudgingly they all disappear from the room leaving the two men alone.
“M'lord they need some sort of answer, some sort of resolution. It is in these times that demons become desperate enough to force their own solutions if they are are carried out by those above them.”
The man on the throne stays still, and quiet.
“M'lord, what are you contemplating?”
The man on the throne lifts his gaze from his hands, and gazes at the entrance. He then lifts his head up, and straightens his view.
“I know of the turmoil, and of the struggle to find our place. We thought once we got rid of the Triad for good, we would get our chance to rule the Underworld. Now we are struggling to organize to fight the threat of good. There is no single action that will repair this situation.”
“But we need something, M'lord. Please don't take this as any personal challenge, but there will be challenge for your throne if you sit aside doing nothing.”
“I said there is no single action to fix our problem. I never said that I wasn't going to do anything. We are going to set a little trap. Since both brother have some Whitelighter in them, I suspect that an arrow from a Darklighter should weaken them enough.”
“But M'Lord they have already vanquished the best Darklighters that lived.”
“I know. That is why we are going to be needing to gather a very specific army to fight for this cause. We will finally be rid of the Charmed Sons once, and for all. We'll need to send a bit of a hiccup into their premonitions, and use the brothers to vanquish themselves.”
“How will you accomplish this, M'lord?”
The man in the red suit lifts his hand, and a piece of parchment appears in his hand. He hands the page to the man in the robe.
“Just fetch these individuals, and bring them here. We need to get this plan in motion...now.”
“What if some of them refuse? Some of these demons haven't been known to be very cooperative in the past.”
“Just let them know that there is power to be had once the new order of the Underworld is established. I can give them powers beyond their wildest dreams once the Charmed family is out of the way.”
Just then the robed man shimmers out of the room leaving the man in the red suit alone. The man in the red suit starts to walk around the room awaiting the return of his trusted assistant. This would be their best chance at getting rid of the Charmed Sons. Once they were out of the way, the now increasingly powerless Charmed Ones would be easier for the taking. The fate of the Underworld would take a dramatic turn for the positive, and the biggest upswing since the Charmed Ones were constituted.
It took some time, but the assistant returned with five individuals. The five individuals all looked a little bothered to be there, but gave no verbal sign of contest.
“I have brought you all hear for a special mission” starts the man in the red suit. “My name is Lyxes, you can call me master, and once my throne has returned to the power it should be at there will be a reward far grander than any of you could hope for in return.”
“Master? Who died, and made you master?” asks the Darklighter.
“You were retrieved to assist in the demise in the two very beings that have been wiping out your existence. Unless you want me to finish what they started, I'd suggest you do as your told.”
“You wouldn't.”
“Wouldn't I? You've seen what times are like for the Underworld now. As they say, desperate times call for desperate measures. Now I wish not to revert to that, but do not question my authority.”
“What is the plan?” asks another man nearby.
“As we are all aware our targets possess multiple abilities that have each been used to vanquish our fellow demons. What we need to do is to single out those abilities, and take them on individually. Each of your kinds have had a degree of success against the Charmed Ones, but all failed. Now we shall gather our greatest strengths together to defeat the Charmed Sons.”
Lyxes walks in a line in front of the demons, looking at each as he passes.
“Assirra, Demon of Illusion, you will need to work with our PowerBroker friend here to create a fake premonition. You two will devise a plan to lure Chris out by placing this premonition in one of his charges. Bare in mind that he will respond alone if he perceives the risk not great enough for the assistance of his brother.”
As Lyxes passes the PowerBroker, he begins to speak.
“My power is to place a power into my subjects, not visions.”
“Ah yes, but with the right spell we will replace the power with an illusion of an attack. The rest will work itself out with the paranoia part of the spell. She will call for Chris with a concern that something is about to happen. He will get the bogus premonition, and respond to the scene of the attack as foreseen.”
Lyxes now walks in front of the next demon in line.
“Lassast, Demon of Rage, you are very crucial to this mission. Your goal will not only be to possess Chris, but also to enrage Wyatt against him.”
“How am I to possess the Charmed Son when he is too powerful?” asks Lassast.
“That is where my dear Lisyta comes in.”
Lyxes walks in front of the very seductively dressed woman. She has a bit of an amused grin on her face as if devising her own plan.
“Lisyta will be waiting at the site of the phony attack, and place Chris under her hypnotic trance. Once he is under her power, he will be vulnerable for your possession.”
Lyxes now walks in front of the Darklighter.
“You will be our trigger man. Once the two Charmed Sons are in position, you will shoot them both with your arrows. Once they are both shot with the arrows we'll be able to turn our focus on the Charmed Ones, and launch an all out assault on their manor. This moment, ladies and gentlemen, is one that we have waited a long time for. The Underworld has for far too long been held down, and the balance in the favor of good. We shall now swing that balance into our favor. Now go, and set this plan into motion. We are on the verge of the greatest victory for evil seen in centuries. Go!”
The five demons vanish from the room leaving Lyxes with his assistant alone in the throne room.
