Chapter Ten: The Three Demons…
Master Lin was not about to give up. He planned to take down the Charmed Ones, one by one. Only then will they give no more troubles for him. His powerful Legion was reduced to rubble of ashes all thanks to his apprentice. Still, he was quiet and calm. He muttered to himself as he paced himself back and forth. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. He had the powers to revive any fallen demons. He thought hard about it. He knew that he can revive three demons. But who? Demons they don’t expect to return.
“Ila!” Lin called out.
Ila, the last of the non-humanoid demons appeared.
“Retrieve the ashes of these demons.” Lin handed his henchman a list of three demons’ name. Ila grabbed it and shimmered out. “No one will stop me.”
“Are you sure about that?”
Gideon and two powerful Avatars appeared before Master Lin.
“Gideon, what a pleasant surprise,” Lin greeted them un-welcomed. “What do I owe you from this visit?”
“The Avatars has sentenced you to death,” informed Gideon. “We are here to carry out the sentence.”
Master Lin chortled. “Foolish, brothers. My Avatar Powers have grown far beyond yours. Back down!”
Gideon and the others fired powerful bolts of lightning. Lin held out one hand and absorbed it effortlessly.
“This is my last warning: Back down!” Lin was seriously this time.
One of the Avatars chared right on. He pulled a jian and stabbed. Lin leaped above the Avatar, pulled out his sword and stabbed the Avatar in the back. He pulled out his sword and the body slumped down on the ground dead.
“I warned you,” said the white hair Avatar. “Leave now or I will drain the power capacity of the Avatars!”
The second Avatar and Gideon pulled out their jians and engaged a short battle. Lin easily put them on the defensive. As their swords struck, Lin easily blocked them and pushed both of them back. He charged and stabbed the second Avatar with his bare hands. The second Avatar died before she could yell. He pulled out his hand and licked the blood.
“Gideon, back off!” Lin repeated again.
“You tried to harm the Charmed Ones,” said Gideon. “My brothers, the Elders, and I won’t allow it!”
“You tried to kill Wyatt, the potential baby who was thought to become evil,” said Lin. “You are just as bad as me.”
“I was given a second chance,” said Gideon. “I will make things right.”
Ila appeared and handed his master three dirty bags. Gideon fired a quick blast and vanquished Ila.
“Drop them!” Gideon ordered.
“I will not listen to rambling commands of dogs!” Lin fired a powerful bold. Gideon deflected it.
“I know your tricks, Lin.” Gideon orbed a column at Lin. Lin materialized a Lyre and quickly strum ten different notes. The final note unleashed a deadly wave that split the column in half.
“You still do not know the powers I wield,” said Lin.
Lin strummed the Lyre again. Gideon quickly unleashed a lightning bolt. He strummed the strings faster than the lightning strike. When he finished, a shock wave thundered and shattered the lightning bolt. It felt as though horde of dead soldiers coming at Gideon. Gideon attempted to defend himself, but Lin’s skills proved too much for the Avatar. Gideon’s robes ripped and ten thousand wounds and sword gashes appeared all over. Gideon was down, but far from death.
“I want you to witness the return of the Sisters’ greatest demons!” He played a solemn dirge after he laid three ash bags in one row. It was slow and boring but created an uncomfortable aura around the island. Three separate lights glowed about each tied bag. One was bright red; the middle was violet; and the third illuminated eerie green. “Zankou, rise now!”
Zankou, the ex-prisoner of the Source, rose from the ashes. When he questioned who Lin was, Lin shocked him and forced the demon to bow.
“Now, Barbas, rise and spread fear!” Lin commanded again.
Barbas appeared and materialized. Before he could comment, Lin shocked him also and forced the Demon of Fear to bow to him.
“Belthazor, rise!” At last…the Source’s right hand demon appeared, ready for action. But, as a precaution, Lin shocked him too and forced him to bow.
“Demon Lords?”
“What do you want?” Barbas demanded.
Lin shocked Barbas until he cried in pain.
“Nice shot!” Barbas said it in a way of insulting.
“You three will address me as Master,” Lin instructed. “Now, let’s do this again, shall we? Demon Lords…”
“Yes, Master?” The three demons chanted unenthusiastically.
“Rise and carry out my wishes,” Lin commanded.
The three stood on their feet.
“Kill the Charmed Ones,” Lin asid simply.
“Easier said then done,” Barbas chuckled nervously. “Have you faced them before? I did. How many times was I vanquished?”
“I don’t fear them,” said Zankou. “I’ll face them again.”
“You, Belthazor. You are too quiet.” Said Lin. “Tell me, what conflicts you?”
“Nothing,” said Cole. “I just don’t see any reason of vanquishing them.”
“Oh… I see. You need motivation,” said Lin. He shocked Cole with rage. Cole, a powerful demon, couldn’t withstand the Avatar’s advanced powers. He stopped as smoke sizzled from Cole’s suit. :Give thyself to the Side of Evil, where you truly belong.”
“I love Phoebe!” Cole confessed truthfully. “I will never harm her or her family!”
Barbas and Zankous gulped in fear. Lin was not at all amused. “You what?!”
“I love Phoebe!” Cole shouted.
“I will not send you back to where you came,” said Lin. “But, I will unmake your compassion for the Charmed One into hatred!”
Lin fired a continuing stream of red flame. The fire surrounded Cole and Lin lifted him up, transferring evil into Cole. Cole resisted valiantly.
“You will join me!” Lin commanded.
The weakened Gideon zapped Lin and interrupted the process. Gideon vanished just before Lin made mince meat out of him. When the demons and Lin turned back, Cole was gone…
“That betrayer will rue the day when I find him.” Lin said to himself.
“Excuse me, Master,” Zankou said. “What do we do in the mean time?”
“Zankou, muster the lesser demons in the underworld,” said Lin. “Barbas, you distract the family. I want you to use their greatest fear against them. Zankou will kill them all. I will take care of my apprentice.”
“Oh? Who is this… apprentice of yours?” asked Zankou and Barbas.
“The Guardian of Good,” said Lin.
With rage, he extended a thick strand of hair and struck a nearby wall. The hair went right through and continued until it reached the beyond the sea.
“Wow!” Barbas exclaimed in awe.
“Nicely done!” complimented Zankou with enlarged eyes.
“They will pay dearly!!!” Lin yelled out.

Chapter Eleven: Cole and Phoebe: Meant to be Together!
Paige and Kyle conceived Daniel in the month of May. For nearly seven months now, the doctor told the parents that the baby will be born at perfect time and will be very healthy. Daniel, meanwhile, honed his martial arts skills everyday and night. He seldom stopped and took a break. On the bridge did he practice. Kyle and Paige often visited him, begging him to come home.
“No,” said Daniel. “I really want to but I feel a deadly threat is coming. Barbas and Zankou tried to get to you and the others. I tried to stop them, but they were stronger than I thought they were. My master resurrected them and boosted their powers tenfold. I have to be ready if they should cross paths with me.”
“Daniel, you belong with us,” said Paige. “Don’t do this to yourself.”
“I’m training for the ones I love,” said Daniel. “I am this close to change the future. You guys were killed by two powerful demons.”
“How do you know about that?” Kyle asked his son.
“I peaked into the future,” said Daniel. “I saw Chris, Wyatt and Melinda there fighting off demons. They’re still okay. If only the Chosen One is found.”
“It’s late. Let’s go home,” Kyle begged him.
“Sorry, Dad,” Daniel apologized. “Not happenin’ tonight.”
“Okay, I’ve just about had it!” Paige scolded him. Daniel recoiled. “You listen to your mother, mister. Get your ass back to the manor or I’m gonna whomp it!”
“Yes, Mom,” Daniel said fearfully. He knew better not to testify his pregnant mother. He orbed home first.
“Wow, Paige baby,” Kyle complimented sensually. “That was so—”
“Ehh, pipe it down, hubby!” Paige scolded him also. Her rage peaked. “Don’t you butter me up or else I will orb your two little—”
“All right, all right,” Kyle surrendered to his wife. “Let’s just go home.”
“Isn’t it a beautiful night?” Paige observed the city lights.
Kyle then thought to himself: No more sex.
As Daniel trained in his cave he heard intense groans from the deeper area of the cave. Daniel pulled out his sword and demanded the person or stranger to come out. A man slumped to his side and his consciousness faded.
“Hey, man, get up!” Daniel shook him hard to wake the stranger.
Daniel forced him to sit upright. Daniel raised his hands and placed them on his back where his palms would cover his lungs. He used his Chi powers and healed the stranger. The man regained consciousness and his wounds healed completely. The man turned to thank Daniel.
“It is nothing,” said Daniel. “What happened to you?”
“I was attacked by demons.” The stranger explained. “They have a bounty on my head.”
“What are you, a backstabbing demon?” Daniel joked and laughed.
The man laughed too but replied, “Yeah.”
“Oh, sorry,” said Daniel. “That was rude of me.”
“What about you? What are you doing here alone, kid?” asked the stranger. He took a liking to Daniel.
“I’m 537 years old,” said Daniel. “I look like a kid but I am not really. Am I? By the way, my name is Daniel. Daniel Brody Haliwell.”
“Cole Turner,” the man introduced himself. “You’re a Haliwell?”
“Paige and Kyle’s son,” said Daniel. “What kind of name is Cole Turner? Doesn’t sound like a demon’s name at all.”
“I’m half human, half demon,” said Cole. “Former Avatar. Demon again. Full demon.”
“Yet, I feel warmth about you,” said Daniel as he felt Cole’s stranger aura. “It is rare for a demon to have a soul.”
“I do?” Cole said surprisingly. “I never knew that.”
“C’mon,” said Daniel. “Let me get you to the Manor.”
“Where?!” Cole exclaimed. “Anywhere but there! The sisters and I had problems in the past!”
“So, forgive and forget,” said Daniel. “I trust you. I’ll cover for you.”
“You are unlike anyone I ever met,” Cole complimented.
“Guardian of the Good,” said Daniel.
Just as they were about to orb home, Lin appeared. “Well, what do we have here? Both backstabbers in one place. Finally, I can vanquish you all!”
Lin fired powerful red-lightning. Daniel pushed Cole down and fired his golden lightning. They collided and both controllers pushed their powers.
“Cole, run!” Daniel shouted. “Go, while I hold him off!”
“You may be 537 years old,” said Cole. “You’re still a kid.”
Cole fired a lightning ball and hit Lin. Lin fell on his back over a boulder. Daniel and Cole orbed home. Lin got back up and huffed angrily. He called for Barbas and Zankou.
“The two of them are walking into my trap,” said Lin. “The manor is unprotected thanks to my deactivation spell. Kill them all!”
As soon as Daniel and Cole materialized Daniel quickly fell on the couch groaning tiredly. Cole asked Daniel if he was all right. Daniel replied that it was just exhaustion from the fight with Lin. Paige came in and saw Cole. She told Daniel to get way from Cole as she orbed a fireplace shovel and attempted to stab him. Daniel quickly orbed it away and explained.
“Mom, it’s okay, he’s a good guy,” said Daniel. “I know. He has a good soul.”
“Yeah? He tried to kill Phoebe, Piper, Leo and me!” Paige screamed.
“It’s fine!” Daniel assured his mother. “He’s okay. I have a feeling the future is changing rapidly since I’ve been here. It’s changing faster than I thought. Still, with the White Hair Avatar at large, one is safe.”
“If he harms anyone, I will send Piper to blow you up!” Paige threatened Cole. “If you tricked my son, we will send you back to—”
“Cole! How did you come back?!” Piper exclaimed.
“Apparently, the White Hair Avatar resurrected him,” said Paige.
“Perfect!” Piper yelled. “You and Phoebe can get back together again! She hasn’t had a boyfriend for a long—”
“Are you talking about me, Piper?” Phoebe ran downstairs in her suit. “Stop embarrassing me— Ahh! Demon! Piper, blow him up! Daniel, get away from him!”
“Aunt Phoebe, it is fine,” Daniel assured Phoebe. “He’s a good demon.”
“Phoebe, it’s been a while,” Cole said to Phoebe.
“Oh, yeah, not long enough!” Phoebe yelled at him.
“Now, be nice to him,” said Piper. “Give him the benefit of the doubt. He saved my life before when Leo was made mortal.”
“He? That backstabbing demon who tried to vanquish—” Phoebe was interrupted by Daniel.
“Do you trust me, Aunt Phoebe?” Daniel asked her.
“Yeah, of course,” said Phoebe.
“Trust my judgment,” said Daniel. “I fought evil and protected many innocents for many centuries! I know who is good and who is evil. Cole Turner is a good man. He may be a demon, but he has a good soul. I cannot be deceived by demonic tricks. If you trust me, Aunt Phoebe, trust him.”
“Oh, all right,” said Phoebe. “I’ll talk to him.”
“Good!” said Daniel. “Now, I will go the bridge and hone my skills!”
“Be back before noon!” Paige reminded him.
“Yes, Mom,” Daniel said obediently. He orbed out.
Piper and Paige left the living room for Phoebe and Cole to talk privately… not. Piper cast an eavesdropping spell. Nothing was private between Cole and Phoebe.
“Oh, Phoebe, how much I long to hold you again,” said Cole.
Phoebe backed off and told him to keep his hands to himself.
“I can’t tell you how sorry I am,” he said. “I deserved to be vanquished. I don’t deserve you. I love you so much that I’d do anything to get you back to me.”
“You see, greed?” said Phoebe. “When Paige’s boyfriend ran amok, he tried to kill Leo! Obsession? Sound familiar? Why don’t you just give me up or something? I have a child of my own and I’m trying to move on. You should too!”
“Being with you is intoxicating,” said Cole. “I can’t live without you. I know you are trying to move on with your life, but you are struggling. Maybe you and I are meant for each other.”
“Dream on, Demon Boy,” Phoebe spat. “You and I can never have it! There is no way in a million years—”
Cole quickly leaned over her and kissed her lips. Phoebe mumbled but could not resist Cole’s charm at all. She moaned contentedly. He backed away from her and she was paralyzed for the moment. She regained her nerves and sputtered unintelligently.
“Wow!” Phoebe whispered hoarsely. “That was good!”
“Anything?” Cole waited for her real response.
“Come to mama, big boy!!!!” Phoebe pounced on Cole and made out on the couch. They fell on the floor and continued. Their moaning and sensual groans disgusted Piper and Paige.
“Ugh!” Piper remarked.
“Yeah, right in the middle of the day too!” Paige added.
“I guess they are meant for each other,” said Piper.

Chapter Twelve: Zankou vs. the Charmed Children…
“What news has you for me?” Lin demanded of Barbas.
“Nothing much…” Barbas replied dryly.
“Well, tell me,” ordered the Avatar.
“The Avatars are moving against you as well as the Elders,” said Barbas. “Of course, it is a secret, but Elders have such big mouths. The Charmed Ones also allied with them. They will meet in Magic School.”
“What about the children?” asked Lin.
“They will stay with Leo and Cole as well as your apprentice,” said Barbas.
“So, a former demon, a mortal, three children and Daniel,” Lin said to himself. “Something is not right. The Sisters are not careless. They might be suspecting an attack. A trap they lay for us.”
“I doubt it,” said Barbas. “I can swoop in there and kidnap them before they can say ‘Demon of Fear!’”
“Be careful.” Lin warned him. “Just in case, Zankou will join you. He will eliminate the mortal and Belthazor.”
“What of Daniel?” asked Barbas worriedly.
“I will break him.” Lin growled violently…
Daniel, Cole and Leo babysat the children. Cole and Leo urged that Daniel join the meeting at Magic School. Daniel refused. He didn’t want his cousins to get hurt.
“You came here to save us,” said Leo. “Don’t worry about us.”
“The manor is very vulnerable.” Daniel reminded his uncle. “Humanoid demons can enter it. I placed Buddha statues around the house. No demon ever dared enter the manor, except the White Hair Avatar.”
“Buddha Statues?” Cole repeated.
“Crucifix only work for exorcisms but that will help,” Daniel explained. “We need Feng Shui mirrors, and the four Heavenly Kings.”
“Four Heavenly Kings?” Cole was clueless.
“In the Chinese Mythology, they are the kings of four different planes,” Daniel explained. “To the North is the Black Turtle. The East, the Green Dragon. The South, Red Phoenix. West, White Tiger. They rule in the direction of the compass and protect those regions they rule.”
“Wow, you’re a know it all. You know that, right?” Cole mocked Daniel.
“But it will work,” said Daniel. “You two go find and buy a Guanyin Statue, Buddha Statue, Monkey King, Eight-Element Mirrors, Incenses, the Four Kings, Firecrackers, Rectangular Parchments, a paint brush, black ink, and Taoist Robes. Got all of that down?”
Cole and Leo stared at Daniel lifelessly. They had no clue what he just said. Daniel materialized a piece of paper and wrote down the items he named. He gave the list to Leo and Cole.
“Now, go to China Town and buy these things,” said Daniel.
“All right,” said Cole. He was still overwhelmed by the list. “But, leaving you at home with the kids alone… It’s dangerous. Leo, you stay. I can materialize and de-materialize.” He vanished. Leo stayed behind.
“Well, what are we supposed to do?” asked Leo.
Just as Daniel was about to speak, Barbas appeared behind Leo and attacked with a fireball. Daniel pushed Leo out of the way and deflected the fireball. Barbas disappeared. Daniel pulled out his sword and told Leo to check on the children. Zankou flamed in. He fired a lightning bolt. Daniel instinctively dodged it and fired his own bolt. Zankou was hit but unharmed.
“You’re strong,” said Zankou. “Unfortunately, not strong enough!”
“Daniel!” Leo cried. “They’re gone!”
“Ta-ta!” Zankou flamed out.
“What?!” Daniel exclaimed.
“Barbas took them!” Leo speculated. “God, what are we going to do?”
“I know where they are headed,” said Daniel. “Uncle, stay here. Call the sisters. I’m going after them.”
“Wait, it is a trap,” Leo warned him.
“I am strong enough to stop them,” Daniel told Leo. “Uncle, you and Cole are not strong enough to stop those demons. I have to do this. Be careful.”
Daniel orbed an instruction manual and gave it to Leo. “Follow these instructions. I’ll save them. Trust me, Leo. They’ll be all right. The manor must be safe first.”
Daniel orbed out. Leo frantically waited for Cole and the children’s return.
“Like taking candy from a baby,” remarked Zankou.
The children huddled behind Wyatt.
“Back off, demon!” Wyatt yelled at Zankou and Barbas.
Zankou placed five crystals around the children in the shape of the pentagram. The children became prisoners.
“Well, we wait for him,” said Barbas. Suddenly a yell pierced his ears.
“What is it?” Zankou asked him.
“Master Lin is calling for me,” said Barbas. “This is bugging me!”
Barbas flamed out. Daniel orbed in.
“Well, welcome to the Underworld,” Zankou greeted him. “I see you are prepared to die.”
“You are mistaken,” said Daniel as he pulled out his sword. “You will die.”
Zankou and Daniel engaged in a hustled fight. The demon used his own sword against Daniel’s sword. Daniel was forced to defend himself. Zankou was skilled. He knocked Daniel’s sword out of his hand. Daniel was in trouble but not beaten. He fired as brief bolt and knocked Zankou at a far distance. The demon retaliated with a barrage of fireballs. Daniel grabbed his sword and deflected each one. As soon as the attack halted, Zankou disappeared.
Daniel was on his guard. He knew Zankou was very close by.
Suddenly, three Zankou appeared. Daniel fought three swords at a time. He managed to defeat all the three clones only to be exhausted in the end. Daniel telekinetically moved one of the crystals away, freeing the children. Daniel collapsed on his knees and breathed heavily. The children gathered around Daniel, thanking him heartily.
“Are you okay, Daniel?” Wyatt asked him.
“I’m fine, just tired,” said Daniel. “Let’s get outta here.”
Zankou, the real deal, appeared before them with 100 henchmen.
“Aw crap!” Daniel and the kids cursed at their doom. Then, Daniel pondered and figured it out. “Power of Four. Kids, gather around me. We are going to use the Power of Four!”
“We’re just kids!” Melinda yelled as the demon charged up with their fireballs.
“I can’t call for our parents!” Daniel reminded them. “Follow me on this spell!”
“To vanquish the enemies around us, We call upon the Power of Four, Witches, Angels, Guardians unite. Send them back to the Abyss, forevermore!”
Suddenly, a powerful storm above them rained burning water on the demons. All the henchmen turned to ashes as they were soaked. Znkou though burned as he screamed in pain. The fire extinguished but he stood tall and powerful.
“Man, I thought that would work,” said Chris exclaimed.
“Wait a minute,” said Daniel. He approached the seemingly frozen Zankou, charred and burnt. He tapped the blackened demon and he was reduced to rubbles of ash.
“Bad rhyme, but works.” Wyatt replied.
“Let’s go home,” said Daniel
The Charmed Children returned to the manor. Waiting for them were Leo and Cole.

You know, I wonder how these couples will do if they lived on Wysteria Lane. Sure, demons won't be popping everywhere on this suburb. What about the inner demons' of the neighbors...?

Chapter Thirteen: Farewell Forever
After the manor was blessed, Daniel, Cole, Leo and the kids rested in the living room, waiting for the Sisters to return. They returned with Gideon. Leo was still slightly upset with Gideon and welcomed him coldly. Gideon again apologized to Leo, realizing that it was a mistake. Wyatt is good. His intervention almost turned him evil. He turned to Daniel and bowed and thanked him.
“It is an honor to meet the Guardian of the Good,” said Gideon.
“I am the last of the Good in the future,” said Daniel. “I came back save my family. I am so close. If I save my family, I save the Greater Good. What news of my master?”
“Nothing, he’s been in hiding,” said Gideon. I fought with him once. He’s stronger than I thought.”
“His resurrected demons are strong too,” said Daniel. “It took the Power of Four to stop Zankou. I found a way to stop Barbas. It’s simple. I alone must face him.”
“Whoa, wait! I know I didn’t hear you say that!” Paige exclaimed.
“You must all leave the manor,” said Daniel. “He’ll be coming for me on orders of Master Lin.”
“Why do you call him Master anyways?” Phoebe questioned. “He’s a threat!”
“He may be our nemesis,” said Daniel. “I still call him master out of respect that he is stronger than me not because I have respect for him as a person. He is evil and I intend to stop him.”
“Mom, Mom! Barbas kidnapped us and Zankou tried to kill us!” Melinda told Phoebe.
“What?!” Phoebe exclaimed. “Are you okay? Are the three of you hurt?”
“We’re fine, Aunt Phoebe!” Chris replied. “Thanks to Daniel and the Power of Four.”
“Oh, God!” Phoebe cried out and embraced her daughter.
“Gideon, is the Avatar base hidden well?” Daniel asked him.
“I believe so,” said Gideon. “Why do you ask?”
“The manor is protected but not against Master Lin,” said Daniel. “I fear he may use my family as leverage to force me to join him. I can’t let that happen. Gideon, you and the Avatars must protect my family. I don’t want anything happened to them. Will I have your word?”
“Yes, we’ll do everything in our power to protect them,” said Gideon.
“Thank you,” said Daniel. “I preferred if you take them now.”
“All right,” Gideon turned to the others and announced Daniel’s plans. They did not react so well with it.
“What?!” Leo exclaimed. “Are you crazy?!”
“I know, Uncle, you had problems with the Avatars in the past, but—”
“It’s not that,” Piper replied for Leo. “Why do you want to face him alone?”
“I have to,” said Daniel. “First, Barbas is my priority. I have to get rid of him first. Gideon, take them.”
“As you wish, Daniel,” confirmed Gideon. He gestured and shimmered his family away. “Be careful. Take this sword.”
He materialized his jian and gave it to Daniel. The boy pulled the sword from the sheath and observed its green beauty.
“The Green Destiny,” said Daniel. “I thought it exists in the story and film.”
“It’s definitely real,” said Gideon. “I have a feeling you will need it in the end. There is one thing. Why didn’t you tell them?”
“Tell them what?” Daniel pretended to be clueless. Gideon glared at him. “All right you win. I just didn’t want them to worry. I’m afraid of hurting them.”
“Like it or not, you will tell them soon,” said Gideon. “Daniel, they are your family. Family sticks together. They help each other, support each other. They never hide anything from each other.”
“You don’t understand,” said Daniel. “Sometimes lies keep families intact.”
“Love does,” said Gideon. He de-materialized.
Daniel sighed and withdrew his sword. He closed his eyes and concentrated for Barbas’s location. Then he found it and disappeared.
Barbas gathered his own legion of powerful demons that were trained in the martial arts. He warned them not to underestimate Daniel. These last demons of the world were ready to fight and die for Evil’s goals.
“Remember, act, and don’t react!” Barbas gave them the last advice just before Daniel appeared. “Kill him!”
The army of 1000 demons charged. Daniel stood his position firm as he laid his hand on the Green Destiny’s hilt. 25 demons leapt overhead and stretched their claws. Daniel quickly drew his sword, flashed it once and withdrew before the hand truck one second. 25 demons suddenly burned and reduced to ashes.
“Any more?” asked Daniel. He aimed and fired a bolt of golden lightning. It went through five demons and disintegrated them. The demons recoiled. “Well?”
“What are you waiting for?” Barbas demanded. “Get him!”
The remaining demons charged. One unleashed a fury of punches and claws. Daniel easily avoided them like an eagle avoiding turbulence. He cracked his knuckles and pressed his bones in his wrist through his heart, thus killing him. Daniel jumped, came down, kicked three surrounding demons’ heads and obliterated them. Daniel unsheathed his sword and unleashed a series of flashing and stabbing, killing 50 demons without breaking a sweat.
Barbas flamed out.
Daniel continued to massacre the demons, one by one; demons fell before Daniel’s sword and skills. Daniel was covered in demon blood. Most of them did not explode. The last one begged for his life. Daniel said, “What life?”
With a swing, Daniel chopped off the demon’s head. Demon blood squirted all over him, mostly on his face. The unstained sword was withdrawn. He scanned for Barbas, but he was not here anymore. Daniel orbed away and called for Barbas. He didn’t show. He scanned all areas of the underworld. Barbas was nowhere to be found. As he was about to leave, he saw a giant gate in the darkness beyond the river of trapped souls. As the gate opened, silver light ripped through the darkness. There, a shore ahead at the setting sun. Evergreens stretched for miles and beyond. He looked back to see his family waving farewell. He didn’t want to leave. He returned to them only to find his family reduced to ashes. Daniel screamed in pain as the vision shattered before him. There, Barbas was standing before Daniel, looking into his greatest fear.
“Ahh, you are afraid of losing your family,” said Barbas. “When you die, you can’t return. If you do, they die!”
Barbas chuckled darkly.
Daniel’s eyes glowed golden lightning as he drew his sword and fling it like a boomerang. Barbas swerved to one side and taunted, “Missed me!”
The sword rebounded and sliced off his left arm. Flesh and blood splattered the ground of the Underworld. Barbas fell to his knees and tried to stop his bleeding. Danie caught his sword and approached Barbas. He pleaded for his life. Daniel raised his sword and sliced off his right arm. Barbas cried in pain and begged to be spared.
“Please, leave me alone!” Barbas bawled like a baby. “I’m unarmed!”
“You know of this,” said Daniel. “I have to make sure no one knows this. Farewell forever, Barbas the Demon of Fear!”
Daniel raised his sword and combined it with his lightning bolt. He struck Barbas from head to toe, incinerating Barbas. Blood and bits of his useless flesh splattered about. Daniel breathed tiredly and orbed home.
Daniel dropped his sword on the floors and fell on his knees. He cried to himself quietly.

Chapter Fourteen: A Call from the Kings!
Daniel hid his fears for the final months to come.
Hs parents and his family did know his secret. Gideon did, but Daniel refrained him from speaking that to his family. He hoped his family would never know.
There were two weddings planned. The Brodys and the Turners decided to do their weddings together. The Elders, as always, objected to Kyle’s marriage as any Whitelighters’. So, they decided to do their private weddings at the manor, protected magically. The sisters summoned their long lost relatives, including Grandma Penny and Patty. Victor was invited also. They were very surprised to see Cole. Actually shocked!
“What’s he doing here!” Grams demanded.
“He’s fine!” Daniel assured them. “I turned him into a human being.”
“Who’s he?” Victor asked.
“Believe it or not, he’s our son,” said Paige, putting her arms around Daniel and her soon-to-be husband.
“Oh, the new Whitelighter,” Patricia commented. “Good for you, Paige.”
“Elder actually,” said Kyle.
“Oh? Well, he doesn’t look very qualified,” Penny said aside to one of the dead relatives. “Your son, on the other hand, looks like a real witch!”
“Actually, I’m an Elder-Avatar-Whitelighter-Witch,” said Daniel. “Mongrel!”
“Well, no matter,” said Penny, “which reminds me! Paige! Phoebe! Get to your rooms! It’s bad luck to see your spouses before the wedding!”
“Great-Grandmother,” Daniel jumped in. “That’s just superstition. I mean, with all that we faced—”
“Are you giving me lip, boy?” Grams scolded him.
“Okay, I’ll shut up,” said Daniel. He whisked himself and away and made acquaintances with the dead relatives.
Phoebe and Paige ran upstairs with the maidens.
Mrs. Hughes, the new nosy neighbor, let herself in. Piper and Leo welcomed her and her husband.
“Thank you for inviting me, Piper,” cried Mrs. Hughes. “I’m so happy for your sisters! This is so beautiful!”
“Who’s she?” Victor asked Grams.
“Believe it or not, she is Mrs. Huber,” said Grams with a huff.
“That’s bad,” said Patty. “Piper, can I talk with you please, alone.”
“Who’s Mrs. Huber?” Victor asked one of the dead relatives. He just pointed and laughed at Victor.
“Nosy neighbor of Desperate Housewives was beaten and strangled to death,” Daniel replied to his grandfather aside.
“Piper, are you crazy?” Patty yelled at her where they were no one in sight.
“Mom, I know what I’m doing.” Piper explained what she was trying to do. She knew that Mrs. Hughes is just like Mrs. Kravitz and Mrs. Huber. The only way to keep her unsuspecting of the manor, Piper had to show Mrs. Hughes that the Halliwells are normal human beings.
“Piper, we are not human beings,” said Patty. “Most of us are dead. How long will it take for the Hughes to figure this out?”
“I’m George,” Mr. Hughes greeted one of their relatives. “I came from Milwaukee. Where are you from?”
“Salem, 1650,” replied the dead relative heartily. “Now, the Elysians.”
“Wow, sounds like a nice place, isn’t it, Gladys?” George replied to his wife.
“Yeah, very nice,” Gladys’s suspicion rose.
“You see, what I mean, Piper?” asked Patty. The door opened again and a reverend walked into the room, greeting everyone. Gladys screamed at his face.
“Nice mask!” George complimented. “I guess you’re throwing a costume party also. Hey, Piper, why didn’t tell us to dress up too?”
“George, that face is real!” Gladys growled lowly as he walked passed her.
“Now, Gladys, do you need the medicine again?” George asked her.
Grams muttered a charm and placed a spell on her. She then felt so relieved.
“No, I don’t, George,” said Gladys. “I’m sorry for being paranoid. Forgive me.”
“The grooms?” the ugly faced reverend called out. Kyle and Cole took their place.
“Cue the music!” one of the relatives whispered. Unfortunately, no one knew how to play the piano. Daniel plucked one of his hairs and morphed it into his own self. His clone played the wedding march. The ring bearers, Wyatt and Chris carried down the wedding rings and were followed by the flower girl, Melinda. As the brides (Phoebe and Paige) marched down the aisle, Mrs. Hughes cried her eyes out. George tried to escape her grasp. One of the Ghost Halliwells stared at her and George for a brief moment.
“Uh… I don’t know her,” said George.
The relative stepped away from Mr. Hughes.
The best man Leo and Darryl gave the brides to the grooms. The piano stopped and they waited for the reverend’s words.
The reverend took off his mask and opened the bible.
“Told ya, Galdys,” said George.
“Yeah, George, I know,” Gladys replied drunk.
“We are here to unite these lovers…” the reverend began.
Daniel suddenly heard a call for him. He looked about and orbed away.
Daniel appeared in the Underworld. Sitting before him was the Lord of the Underworld, King Yama. Next to him was Lord Anubis with his scale.
“Time is running out, Daniel,” said Lord Yama. “You must find and defeat Master Lin. Look at my list! Look at these people who will die if you don’t find the Chosen One and stop Lin.”
“I know, my lords,” Daniel bowed. “I will find them. I promise.”
“Listen, I didn’t call you down here today to talk to you about this,” said Anubis.
“We tried talking to the three Big Bosses,” said Yama. “But they wouldn’t have it.”
“Well,” said Daniel. “It doesn’t matter. It is my destiny. God took me here so that Evil shall not triumph. I know what I must do. For my family and the world.”
“Don’t mean to be prying but did you tell this to your parents?” asked Anubis.
“No,” said Daniel. “In due time, I shall.”
“Again, I am sorry,” said Yama. “We’ll try again. I will gather a petition for the deities to sign and present it to the Big Guy himself. Of course, the Jade Emperor and the Sun God, Ra will object to it…”
“Thank you, my lords,” Daniel said. “I am grateful. But I will accept my destiny.”
“You may go back,” said Anubis. Daniel orbed out.
“Poor kid,” Yama told Anubis. “Daniel doesn’t belong on the Elysian Fields. He belongs with his family.”
“Hey, what can we do?” asked Anubis as he readied the petition. “We’re just the Underworld Deities, Rulers of the Underworld. No democracy.”
“Yeah, but maybe this petition will help,” said Yama. “We hereby… Nice! Shall we?”
“Let’s do it!” Anubis and Yama shook hands and dematerialized.
When Daniel returned to the wedding, it was over. The party was over. There was no one in the house. He was all alone.
“Daniel!” scolded Piper. “Where the hell have you been?”
“You just said it,” said Daniel.
“Don’t be a smart ass!” Piper growled at her nephew. “You missed the most important day of your parents! You promised to be there.”
“I’m sorry, but Lord Yama and Lord Anubis called me from the underworld,” Daniel explained. “I had no choice. You see, I have to bring my master for his sentence. That’s why they called me. Their death list has grown very long. I mean, the Angel of Death will have his work cut out for him. How am I going to explain this?”
“Well, you can’t,” said Piper. “They’re on their honeymoon and they won’t be back for a week. In the mean time, you can help me, Leo, and your cousins clean up the mess.”
“All, right, Aunt Piper,” Daniel replied.
“By they way, pop this in the VCR,” said Piper, “You missed a lot!”
Daniel watched the wedding from beginning to end. He regretted missing the wedding. He watched his parents, his aunt and uncle exchanging vows and watched them danced to their wedding songs they selected. He should’ve been there, but saving them from the upcoming danger was more important.
“I’m so sorry,” said Daniel. He sighed and turned off the TV. He, Piper, Leo and the kids helped cleaned the house.
He watched the wedding again and again for the rest of the night after his uncle, aunt and cousins were asleep. He was happy for them. In his mind, he could see his family living a peaceful life. He orbed on to the roof. He pulled out his sword and practiced under the moon lit sky.
The moon was high in the sky. Master Lin sharpened his skills also. He knew that the battle shall ensue in three weeks. With no army left, Lin must defeat Daniel to take away his powers. Daniel was growing stronger by the week as he was.
“Daniel, I know you can hear me,” said Lin. “The battle of Good and Evil shall soon begin. There will be only one victor!”
His hair struck a pigeon and it immediately fell down dead.
“That victor will be me!” Lin said to himself.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN
[glow=green,2,300]PART ONE[/glow]
Death Takes Them
Chapter Fifteen: Death Takes Both…
Kyle and Paige were worried about their son. They had not seen Daniel since they returned from their honeymoon. Neither Piper nor Leo knew where Daniel had gone to. Kyle was deeply worried as was pregnant Paige. She was worried because the baby had not made one kick.
“I don’t understand,” said Paige. “The doctor said that the baby is very healthy. I’m scared, Kyle. What if—”
“I don’t think we should worry too much,” said Kyle.
“Daniel missed our wedding,” Paige. “Then he just disappeared. I don’t know… I mean, it’s not like him to do this…” “I’ll go check on Daniel,” said Kyle. “Meanwhile you will stay off your feet. I don’t want anything happening to you or Daniel, the both of them.”
“You don’t think he’s feeling guilty about missing our wedding and the party, is he?” Paige theorized.
“Nah,” said Kyle. “I’ll go talk to him.”
He orbed out after he felt a connection from Daniel.
Daniel spent his last hours meditating on the high tower of the bridge. Kyle appeared called to his son. Daniel turned away from his father.
“Look, if it’s about the wedding, it’s nothing…” Kyle began.
“It’s not that,” said Daniel.
“Well, one down,” Kyle chuckled. “What’s wrong then? You look very down for the past three weeks. Wanna talk about it?”
“No,” Daniel’s voice broke.
“Are you crying?” Kyle asked with concern.
Daniel shook his head and orbed away.
“Wait!” Kyle tried to stop him. Kyle followed his son and appeared in the cave. “Why are you running away form me?”
“You don’t understand, Dad,” said Daniel. “Lin is after me. He might capture you or anyone I love to blackmail me.”
“When this is over, don’t you want to go back?” Kyle asked.
“Where?” Daniel asked.
“Back to the future,” said Kyle.
“I can’t,” said Daniel.
“We can help,” said Kyle. “We have the spells and…”
“I’m sorry, Papa,” Daniel apologized. “I can’t go home. Before this is over, I just want to say that it has been a great year. I got to know my parents and my family. That is all I need before I leave. Thanks, Dad. Tell Mom that I love her very much. Farewell.”
Daniel orbed out and Kyle felt their connection broke.
“What are you talking about, son?” Kyle asked himself.

Chapter 15 [glow=red,2,300] Part 2 [/glow] Death Takes Them!
[glow=magenta,2,300]The sun had set. Master Lin, the powerful Avatar waited for his apprentice. As soon as Daniel materialized, Lin did not touch his sword. His lips moved and bargaining words left his mouth.
“Daniel, my young apprentice,” Lin waved hello at him. “Have you come to join me? You and I can combine together and rule this world.”
“No,” Daniel said simply.
“If this is about your family,” said Lin, “I will spare them. Your family can enforce our laws. No good, no evil. Just the strong ones who shall rule the Earth with iron fists! How about it?”
“I will accept my destiny,” said Daniel. He pulled out his sword and threw away his scabbard. The blade rang and the echoing ping ceased. “The Chosen One, Protector of the Halliwell line, shall appear to claim our powers, as the prophecy foretell.”
“So be it, Guardian of Good!” Lin pulled out his sword.
The two warriors engaged the climatic battle of Good and Evil. A force field expanded and shielded the island. It disappeared completely.
Daniel struck so hard, Lin almost lost his balance. As they crossed blades, the two exchanged heated words.
“You will never win!” cried Lin. “Your heart made you weak. You should’ve used your anger and hatred. Only they will make you stronger than me!”
Daniel knocked Lin’s sword out of sync and kicked him in the stomach. The Avatar flew backwards but landed safely on his two feet.
“Wrong!” Daniel corrected him. “Love is the way!”
Lin fired a lightning bolt and Daniel fired his. The red and gold bolts impacted and exploded, unleashing powerful sonic waves that struck the shield. It distorted the illusion of the abandoned Alcatraz. Bystanders noticed the eerie ‘shake’ of one of the towers of Alcatraz.
“You have grown strong, young one,” said Lin.
“I learned from the best,” said Daniel.
“You learned nothing!” Lin jumped into the air and lashed his sword like a whip. He slashed many times and Daniel dodged and avoided each stroke. The slashing whip of the Heavenly Sword critically damaged the roof top of the prison. Daniel was still standing firm. Around him, the roof top was scared deeply by the sword’s great powers.
“Good, good,” Lin congratulated his apprentice.
Daniel fired up the Green Destiny with his golden lightning bolt. With precise aim, he fired at the immobile Lin. Three slashes hit precisely on target. A powerful explosion followed. Daniel didn’t withdraw his sword. The smoke cleared and Lin held all three blasts with his hands.
“How’s that possible?” Daniel demanded.
“Claws of Talwai,” said Lin. “Combined with Heavenly Claws and Iron Palm!”
Lin deflected Daniel’s blast at him. Daniel dodged two and re-deflected the third blast back at Lin. With the Heavenly Sword, Lin knocked the blast and impacted on the shield. Again it distorted the image of the landmark. Such disturbance tempted the news reporters…
“Foolish antics!” Lin scolded Daniel. “Don’t you see? I never taught you everything. I knew that one day you would try to betray me.”
“That didn’t stop me from learning the Dragon Palm!” Daniel withdrew his sword and performed 18 stances with his upper body.
“The Dragon Saber was destroyed as with the manual,” said Lin.
“I learned it when I was in the Imperial Heavens!” Daniel unleashed 18 dragon heads from his palm. Combined with Oroachi’s lightning, the flashed so bright, cameramen scrambled about and took feed of every phenomenon.
Lin was surprised. He unleashed his own technique. He fired both the Red flames of the Phoenix with the combination of the deadly Heavenly Claw. Instead of a counter, it was a defense. The powerful Dragon Palm was easily held back. Daniel was caught by surprise.
“How were you able to stop my attack?!” Daniel exclaimed.
“I didn’t,” said Lin. “Our powers are evenly matched. The only way for this tie to break is that one of us to succumb to weakness. I, for one, have none!”
Daniel quickly defended himself against Lin’s sword strike. Daniel quickly avoided the blade’s lethal swing and leaped back. Lin jumped up and charged at Daniel like a torpedo parrying his sword. Daniel fended off...until he was trapped with a wall from behind. Lin slashed but Daniel dodged and Lin’s sword only took a huge chunk of concrete. Daniel unleashed a terrible fury. With the Green Destiny, Daniel flashed and parried, forcing Lin to back off. Lin lashed out and stopped the attacks. They both strained as their blades remained interlocked.
“This is getting no where,” said Lin.
“This is just the beginning!” Daniel replied…
[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Chapter 15[/glow]
[glow=orange,2,300] Part 3 [/glow] Death Takes Them!
[glow=blue,2,300] Back at the manor, Kyle traced back and forth, worrying. Paige told him to calm down and reminded him Daniel will return.
“I’m hoping,” said Kyle. “I have a bad feeling about this.”
“Do you think he is hiding something?” Leo asked.
Kyle sighed. “Yeah, but he’s not telling us.”
“Well, do you think he’s upset that he’s not able—” Piper began.
“I told him we can send him back,” said Kyle. “I dunno. He didn’t want to go back. The way he said it. He didn’t want to go back.”
“Hey, guys!” Phoebe greeted her family with her husband in arms. “Cole and I are going out—”
“Where’s Daniel?” asked Cole. “You know, I haven’t seen him since we came home three weeks ago.”
“I’m gonna call Darryl,” said Paige. “Maybe he’ll find something.”
She picked up the phone and called him.
“I don’t get it,” said Kyle. “He seemed so happy before he went after Barbas. He didn’t do anything to Daniel, could he?”
“Barbas is a powerful demon,” said Cole. “He wouldn’t stand a chance against Daniel.”
“Well, we could scry for him, Kyle,” said Piper.
“I tried already,” said Kyle. “He’s really good at hiding.”
“Something’s up at Alcatraz,” said Paige after she put down the phone.
Piper turned on the TV to see Alcatraz distorting randomly.
“That’s gotta be where Daniel is!” Kyle exclaimed. “I know it!”
“Oh my God! He could be hurt,” said Paige. “I gotta go to him!”
“No, Paige,” Kyle stopped her. “If you go, you could end up hurting him. I’ll go!”
“Wait!” a commanding voice halted Kyle. Gideon appeared. “You must not leave!”
“Why not?!” Kyle demanded. “That’s my son in there!”
“He is fighting the last battle,” Gideon replied firmly. “According to the Prophecy, “The Battle of Good and Evil shall ensue between the Guardians two…
“The Orphan of Light will appear in the end…
“To gather the powers of the Phoenix and the Dragon…” “You can’t stop this, Kyle. Daniel must fulfill his destiny. He may not be my son, but I would help him and stop this suicide. I can’t. I wish I could but I can’t. Kyle, I do not know how to say this, but both Daniel and Lin will die in this battle. The Chosen One will claim both their powers.”
“Well, like Chris, he can reborn, right?” Phoebe tried to shed some light.
“He didn’t tell you about this yet, has he?” Gideon said in a way that he wasn’t surprised. “That boy!”
“What, what’s going on?” Kyle demanded. “What did our son neglect to tell us?”
“Once he dies, Kyle,” Gideon just hated to be the bearer of bad news, “he won’t be coming back.”
“What do you mean by that?” Kyle demanded.
“In many religions,” he explained as he looked at the statues of Guanyin and Buddha, “people believed that the souls of those who died reincarnate. Daniel and Lin are Guardians. Neither will ever reincarnate. Lin will be punished. Daniel will move on and stay on the Elysian Fields forever.”
“He won’t come back?” Kyle fell on his knees and sobbed.
Paige broke down also. Piper comforted her sister. “Wait, that means, my baby will—”
“I’m so sorry, Paige,” said Gideon. “Daniel’s soul will not fill that vessel. Someone else’s soul will take the baby’s body. I hate being the bearer of bad news.”
He shook his head and vanished.
Kyle panted heavily and angrily fired a lightning bolt at the conservatory and blew up the furniture. Kyle orbed away.
“Kyle, wait!” Paige called out to her husband. “Oh my God, Daniel! This can’t be happening.”
[/glow]

Chapter 15 Part 4
[glow=red,2,300]DEATH TAKES THEM![/glow]
[glow=gold,10,000] Back on Alcatraz, Daniel and Lin continued their fight. Already hours passed and neither side gave in.
Lin’s sword was worn while the Green Destiny only lost its luster. Finally, the Heavenly Sword, the legendary sword, was broken. Lin did not surrender. He leapt backwards and formed a great distance.
“Well done, my young apprentice,” Lin applauded him. “You destroyed my sword, but this fight is far from over.”
“Exactly,” said Daniel.
He jumped a long distance and fired three shots of his Golden Lightning. None of them struck but they distracted Lin as Daniel moved in for the kill. He struck down but Lin used his hair and blocked him. Lin then used a different strand and punctured the boy’s left arm. Daniel cried out in pain. With a shove, Lin pushed him back and Daniel fell on the ground. His sword was still firm in his hand.
“You were once an evil witch,” Daniel said.
“My ancestor was a powerful White Hair Witch,” said Lin. He with drew his hair. Daniel’s wound was minor, but blood was steadily dripping from it.
“My hair, like hers, contains poison,” said Lin. “any attempts of using your inner strength, you will die.”
“It is a fate I wished for,” said Daniel.
He got up, but Lin fired a powerful surge of lightning and levitated him in midair.
“You will pay for the troubles you caused me!!” Lin shot him across and Daniel hit a firm wall. The tired boy slumped down with his sword still in his hand.
“You will pay for betraying me!” Lin punctured his body at different sites and sent him flying across the roof top. His hair released him and Daniel crashed on the rough concrete floor.
“I raised you when your family died,” said Lin. “I trained you. I bargained so many times that my guts deteriorate. I tried to spare your parents. I offered you the world. There is no such thing as good and evil.”
Lin zapped Daniel. Daniel rolled to his right to avoid the obliterating blast. He turned too late. Lin blew off his arm and incinerated it. Daniel pain shot throughout his body. He cried in agony and held his wound. Blood quickly soaked his left side of his clothes.
“There are only the strong and the weak,” said Lin. He fired another shot at the agonized Daniel.
Too weak, he was unable to move. The blast struck and tore off his leg. It was sent flying across the roof top. Blood dripped from the limb and sprinkled on Lin and on the floor.
“You are the weak,” Lin fired a light blast and levitated him against a nearby wall. “I am the strong one.”
Lin press series of powerful surges of lightning. The energy stream ran through Daniel’s body, electrifying him.
“I will not lose, Lin!” Daniel tightened his grip on the Green Destiny. “The Side of Good will always win in the end!”
Lin did not pay attention to Daniel’s sword. He gestured Daniel to him. He grabbed Daniel around the neck with his long claws. With his right claw, he dug deep into Daniel’s back. Daniel winced but he summoned every bit of his inner energy and transferred them to the Green Destiny.
“Not in this lifetime,” Lin sneered at Daniel.
“Indeed in this lifetime,” said the boy.
With a yell, he raised his sword and severed Lin’s left arm from the shoulder. His back was freed from Lin’s claws. With another flash, Daniel sliced Lin in half from head to hip. Blood splattered all over with flesh flying short distances. Before the body separated, Daniel chopped off Lin’s left arm at the elbow. Daniel was released from his grasp and he threw away Lin’s filthy claw away. Lin’s decapitated body and limbs shattered and exploded. In a heap of fire, the shield swirled in a vortex and disappeared.
As Daniel lid down to die, a sharp pain shot trough his blood vessels. Blood squirted from the wounds made by the hair. They vaporized as soon as they left the body.
“DAD!! Daniel cried out to Kyle.
The spraying of blood stopped and Daniel, numb, fell on his back and laid there, waiting for death. [/glow]

This is it Everyone! [shadow=red,left,300]The FINAL PART of Chapter 15! [/shadow]
PART 5
[glow=aqua,10,000]Kyle appeared. He scanned about the roof top. All he saw were flesh and blood all over the roof top.
“My God!” Kyle exclaimed. “Daniel. Where are you?! I heard you calling me, son. Where are you?”
He heard a quiet whimper. He raced toward it. There, Daniel laid on the blood stained ground, bleeding to death.
“Daniel!” Kyle kneeled down and placed his son’s head on his lap. “Wake up! I’m here, son.”
“Dad?” Daniel opened his eyes. The pupils were dilated. He did say anymore.
“Daniel?” Kyle called out to him.
Golden Energy rose from his son and transferred to him. Red Energy from the ashes of Lin rose and also transferred to Kyle.
“What the…” “Who would know that my dad is the Chosen One?” Daniel said to himself.
“Wha… Daniel, you gonna be okay,” said Kyle, at tears.
“Don’t you see?” Daniel continued. “The Orphan of Light shall appear to gather these two powers. Dad, you were orphaned. You died and became an angel. The Orphan of Light. It makes so much sense. My duty is done.”
“No, don’t leave,” Kyle begged. “I’m gonna heal you and send you back home.”
His son looked at his father. The lively color in his skin paled and grew cold. “You know, I wished for death. I wanted to die in piece, not in pieces.”
Kyle and his son laughed weakly.
“Dad, I want to thank you for everything,” Daniel said weakly.
“For what?”
“Everything,” said his son. “I never regret coming here. I met my family and bonded with them. I learned what love is.”
“Daniel, don’t talk anymore,” said Kyle. He embraced his son, unwilling to let go. “Save your strength.”
“Dad, you have to let me go,” said Daniel.
“No! You’re my son!” Kyle refused to let him die.
“It is inevitable,” said Daniel. “500 years I’ve waited. Remember what Gandalf said in the Lord of the Rings?”
Kyle shook his head. He never watched the trilogy.
“He said Death is just a beginning,” Daniel replied. “I saw it already, many times. I saw the gray rain curtains roll back. Morning turns to sliver glass. There, white shores and green lands under a swift sunrise. I smelled the essence of eternity and peace. I felt so at peace. What I desire most is to be with my family. I can’t. Being a Guardian, I will never reborn.”
“Daniel, don’t leave me,” Kyle cried.
“Papa, I should have told you this a long time ago,” said Daniel. “I love you, Dad and you will forever be in my heart…”
“I love you too son, you’re in my heart also,” Kyle embraced his son. He knew this was the last time he will probably see his son.
The Angel of Death appeared. “It is time, Daniel.”
Kyle looked up at the Angel and back at his son. Kyle kissed his son’s forehead and then, Daniel’s body disappeared, along with his limb and blood. Kyle saw Daniel’s soul materialized next to the Angel of Death. Daniel only smiled and waved farewell to his father. The two disappeared, leaving the Chosen One all alone on the roof top of Alcatraz.
“Good-bye, son,” Kyle wiped off his tears and orbed home. [/glow]

[glow=lavender,2,300]Good Ol' Aunt Prue![/glow]
[glow=pink,10,000]Chapter Sixteen: Ol’ true, Aunt Prue Kyle returned home, sadden still.
“Kyle, what’s wrong?” Paige quickly came up to Kyle and embraced her husband.
“He’s gone,” said Kyle. “He’s not coming back.”
“That can’t be!” Paige declined the truth. “Daniel, he’ll reborn, won’t he?”
“He’s going to the Elysian Fields,” Kyle replied. “I can’t do anything about it. This is d**ned unfair!”
“I’m so sorry, Kyle,” Piper sympathized with her brother in law.
“It shouldn’t be this way!” Kyle cried. He unleashed a fury of golden and red lightning bolts, obliterating every antiques and furniture as he screamed in pain. He stopped and fell to his knees. “I feel so helpless. I couldn’t save my own son!”
The Angel of Death appeared. The family was nervous, but not Kyle. He glared at the angel menacingly.
“Give back my son!” Kyle demanded.
“I can’t do that,” said the angel. “I came here to take you down to the Underworld. It is Daniel’s last request before he leaves.”
“Daniel? Take us to him!” Phoebe begged.
“Come, all of you,” said the angel.
The family, including the children, was transported to the Underworld, the deepest part of it…
Lin was in chains, helpless and worn. Anubis measured his heart. It was completely unbalanced. He turned to Yama for the sentence.
“See ya later, alligator!” Yama bellowed.
“You can’t stop me!” Lin shouted. “I am the Guardian of Evil! I will escape and take over the Underworld!”
“Let’s see if you can escape the 100,000 years of torture!” said Yama.
“Earth Years or Heaven Years?” Lin smirked.
“My Years!” Yama replied diabolically/
Lin’s smile faded. Yama pulled the lever and he fell into oblivion. He pushed it back and the hole faded.
“My years!” Anubis and Yama shared a heartily laughter. “Next!!”
Daniel’s soul materialized, waiting for his judgment. He bowed to the gods respectfully.
“Daniel, you’ve done a marvelous job!” Anubis complimented.
“Thank you, Lord Anubis,” Daniel said softly.
“You’ve saved the balance,” Yam added. “What is wrong?”
“I look forward to my resting,” said Daniel. “Something’s missing, incomplete.”
“Daniel, we sent the petition to the Big Bosses,” said Yama. “They’re looking over it right now. Did you know that over 100,000 deities and demi-gods signed it, including us?”
“Really?” Daniel said, trying to sound excited. “Tell them thank you, for everything. I think it is time.”
“You sure you don’t want to wait?” Anubis was stalling.
“Pass it,” said Daniel.
Anubis measured Daniel’s heart. It was perfectly balanced.
“You may pass. Dock 587,” said Yama, downheartedly.
Daniel bowed and disappeared.
“You know, just give the boy what he wants!” Anubis remarked. “After so many millennia, nothing changed!”
“Daniel suffered so long,” said Yama. “Next! He should choose his life. The gods should not.”
A guilty convict appeared. Anubis measured it and it was unbalanced. Yama pulled the lever and he fell into oblivion.
“Next!” Yama yelled.
The Angel of Death appeared with Daniel’s family.
“Wait a minute!” Yama yelled. “None of you are dead! Oh wait! Oh, you’re Daniel’s family! He spoke so highly of you all!”
“Where’s Daniel, your highnesses?” Kyle was surprised to see giant deities.
“Dock 587. You can still catch him,” said Anubis.
“Kyle, we tried to persuade our Big Bosses,” said Yama. “I’m sorry we failed.”
“You’re just doing your job,” said Kyle. “It’s not your fault.”
Yama waved at them and transported them to Dock 587.
“Hey, what are you standing here for? Bring in some more deadbeats in here!” Yama scolded the angel.
The Angel of Death bowed and disappeared.
Daniel was the only at the dock. The rower refused Daniel to board. Daniel stared at the gates, knowing that behind it was an afterworld for him. He will live there for all eternity, never to return home.
“Daniel!” he heard his father calling out to him.
Daniel turned to see his family racing toward him. Kyle and Paige quickly picked him up and embraced him.
“Mom! Dad!” Daniel cried out happily. “You guys are a sight for sore eyes!”
The others caught up and group hugged around Daniel.
“Everyone is here!” Daniel exclaimed. He never felt so happy. “Thank you for coming. You have no idea how much this means to me, seeing you all for the last time.”
“Daniel, it is time,” said the boat’s rower.
The gate flew back, unleashing bright rays of sunlight. The essence of eternity and peace swept the dock. The family and Daniel sensed it.
Daniel approached Cole and Phoebe first.
“Good-bye, Aunt Phoebe. Good-bye, Uncle Cole,” Daniel shook hands with his new uncle, but Phoebe squealed uncontrollably and hugged him tight. She let him go after a choking experience. “Uncle, I will haunt you if you mistreat my Aunt Phoebe or my cousin Melinda.” He smiled.
“Don’t worry,” said Cole. “I’ll take good care of them.”
He then approached Leo and a tearful Piper.
“I couldn’t thank you enough,” said Leo. “You saved me and Piper.”
“It’s nothing,” said Daniel. “I’m gonna miss your hospitalities and your cooking, Aunt Piper. Maybe you could give Mom a few tips!”
“I’m gonna miss you!” Piper cried emotionally. “You’re my favorite nephew!”
Daniel approached Wyatt, Chris, and Melinda. He crouched down to their heights and embraced the three of them.
“Bye, Daniel.” Chris and Wyatt embraced him.
“I’m gonna miss you three so much,” said Daniel. “Especially you, Chris. Don’t you forget the spell I taught you guys!”
“The Chi Spell?” Wyatt replied.
“Yeah, that one,” said Daniel. “Melinda, you’re a cool witch.”
Melinda kissed Daniel on the cheek. Wyatt and Chris snickered teasingly.
It was time to face his parents.
“Mom, I love you,” Daniel said after he hugged her. “Be good to the baby, even though it’s not me.”
“I will, son,” said Paige. “I will miss you. You changed us all.”
Daniel turned to his father. Daniel felt his tears rolling down his face. He embraced his father tightly and Kyle hugged his son while he sobbed softly.
“I’m gonna miss you most of all, Dad,” Daniel replied with a broken voice. “I love you so much!”
“I love you too, son,” said Kyle, stroking his son’s hair. “I wish there’s something I can do for you.”
“I wish I can stay here,” said Daniel. “As much as I want eternal peace, it is nothing in comparison with those I love.” He looked up at his father and sighed. “Good-bye, Papa.”
“Farewell, son,” Kyle kissed his son on the forehead.
Daniel turned away and looked towards the light. He boarded the boat and looked back. His tears dried away. He smiled, feeling content. Unbeknownst to his family, his heart still lingered with them. He looked toward the horizon and didn’t look back. The rower pushed the ship off the dock and they set sail…
Kyle and Paige looked off to the sunset. Like what Daniel described, the rain curtains rolled back. He couldn’t see the far green land, but he knew Daniel will be safe. They stayed until the tiny boat wan visible no longer. Kyle and Paige headed back to the courtroom. The gate closed shut. Just then, a frantic Yama scurried to the dock with thick documents in his hands.
“Wait! Stop the boat!” Yama cried out. He was too late. “NO!! Why am I always late?! I’m a deity!!”
Daniel could feel the peaceful breeze in his face. He sighed. He knew if he turned back now, he could put his family in danger. He tried to let go, but could not.
“Hello, Daniel,” a voice from behind greeted him.
Daniel turned to see. He saw her somewhere before. Wait a minute! “Aunt Prue?”
“Yes, it’s me!” Prue replied.
“Hey, this is a two passenger boat!” the rower complained.
“Oh, pipe it down, driver!” Prue shouted at him.
He reluctantly toned down his voice. He only muttered bitterly.
“Wow, I finally get to meet the first, eldest sister,” said Daniel. “What are you doing here?”
“All I heard from heaven is you,” said Prue. “I wanted to see you this Daniel Brody Halliwell is. I didn’t expect a 14 year old.”
“537, Aunt Prue,” said Daniel. “I’m very old. I’m looking forward to the Elysian fields.”
“I have a feeling you are not happy with this,” said Prue.
Daniel sighed and gave in. “You’re right. I’m not. I want to go back. I can’t.”
“I want to show you something,” Prue pulled out a thick pile of documents, similar to Yama’s. “Look at the front.”
She gave it to Daniel and he read the bold words with the signatures of the Jade Emperor, Ra, and God Himself. It was the petition Yama and Anubis made for him. He could go back now.
“Really! They mean it?!” Daniel gasped happily.
“Over 100,000 signatures couldn’t be more right!” Prue replied.
Daniel jumped and hugged his aunt. “Thank you! This means so much to me!”
“Don’t thank me!” said Prue. “Thank the three!”
Daniel looked into the skies, kneeled and yelled as loud as he could, “Thank you, God! Ra and Jade Emperor! This is the least I can gratify the three of you! Driver, tack me back!”
“What?! Are you crazy?” the driver growled.
Prue stood up and choked him. “Turn the ship back now, you little boat rower!”
“Awight! Awight!” Prue let him go and he turned the ship around. He rowed as fast as he can.
Daniel could not be any happier! [/glow]

[glow=gold,5,300]Chapter Seventeen: A New Beginning [/glow]
The boat rower rowed as fast as he could.
“This is where I leave, Daniel,” said Prue. “I have to go back and report to the Emperor. Hey, have a good life!”
She smiled and disappeared.
The rower rowed and rowed. The gate opened and the boat raced inside and stopped at the dock. He got off the boat. Before he could set foot on the dock, his body suddenly burst into bright orbs.
“Cool! MOM! DAD! I’m coming!” the orbs of Daniel bounced about the closed case and vanished.
“Kids today!” the rower shook his head and shimmered away.
“You mean, he can come back?” Paige asked hopefully.
“Yes!” Yama replied.
“Our Big Bosses have the tendency to slow things, but yes, thy passed it!” Anubis jumped around like a dog.
“Democracy!” Yama cheered.
Daniel’s spirit fly about, yelling, “Mom! Dad! I’m back!”
The tiny spirit entered his mother’s womb. Paige and Kyle were speechless. Suddenly, sharp kicks banged from within. Paige screamed and grabbed her husband’s ear and twisted. Kyle yelled out.
“Get me to the hospital, now!” Paige’s voice was deepened and demonic. “You did this to me! Take me to the hospital!”
Kyle grinned and tried to nod. He orbed her and the family out of hell.
“That’s her when she’s pregnant?” Anubis wondered fearfully.
“I hate to be her husband right now,” said Yama, shaking his head.
Piper quickly took Paige and Kyle to the hospital with Leo and their kids in the back. Her water just broke. Phoebe drove her beetle with Melinda and Cole.
“Epidermal! Epidermal! Epi-d**n-dermal!” Paige shouted in the hospital as she continued to hold firm Kyle’s hair. “I want drugs!”
They took her into the room and the doctor and the nurse quickly prepared for Paige’s birth. Kyle was finally freed from his wife’s deadly grasp.
“What’s up with her?” Cole asked Kyle.
“Must be Darth Paige in there,” Kyle joked, rubbing his head.
“KYLE!! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE NOW!!!” Paige yelled from her hospital bed.
“For better for worse,” Kyle moaned.
After the doors closed behind him, he yelled in pain.
“GET ME DRUGS!” she yelled again.
Some hours later, Paige was recovering after delivering a health baby boy. Kyle held him close to his heart.
“Hey, there, Daniel,” Kyle greeted the newborn. “It’s Daddy. You probably don’t remember, but you saved us all. I’m so proud of you.”
“Hey, stop hogging him,” Paige told her husband. “He’s my son too.”
She held him and sighed contently. “I can’t believe we almost lost you. You came back to us. Oh, I love you, son.”
Baby Daniel cooed and gurgled.
A new beginning for Kyle and Paige. They’ve always wanted child of their own. Now they have one.
The Power of Three finally ended.
Phoebe and Cole moved to Oregon with Melinda to start a life of their own.
Piper and Leo stayed in the manor with their children. They just couldn’t leave.
Kyle asked the Elders to take away his powers. They made him mortal but they forced him to keep the Chosen One’s powers, just in case if there was a breakout of evil. Kyle and Paige moved to a Connecticut suburb. Some place call Wisteria Lane…
