hiya, i wrote this story a year or so ago and thought i'd share it with some charmed fans on here.
It was the day before Christmas and Phoebe had only just woken up, it was about noon and she was all alone in Halliwell Manor. “Hmmm, Piper must be at P3 but I wonder where Paige has gone, I’ll have a look downstairs.” Phoebe walked quickly down the stairs and went into the kitchen, she stopped at the fridge, got some fresh orange juice out and walked to the cupboard and got a glass, then poured some juice, she sat down at the table. “Maybe Paige went shopping in China town to restock up on items for potions.” She said to herself.
Phoebe looked at the time on her watch on her wrist, “oh look at the time, I’m supposed to be meeting Jason soon” she put her drink down and rushed upstairs to get dressed so she could see Jason.
Paige was out walking in a huge field covered in snow. She walked up to a huge tree and sat under it with her legs lying on the snowy floor. Paige was wearing a lilac, waist length coat with light blue gloves and a light blue scarf. She was also wearing black trousers. She wore a pair of black ankle boots on her feet. She had her long brown hair down.
She looked around at the area she was in, it was pretty, there were white flowers planted on the left and right of her, and the sky was a pale blue with not a cloud in sight. There were a few other trees around her and a fountain spraying water into the cold air. She got out her cell phone and was about to dial a number when all of a sudden a dark green coloured demon appeared in front of her, it looked so ugly, it had two really long legs and two short arms, on its head were two yellow scaly horns and its face was like two different things, one half-the left was all hairy- there were brown hairs everywhere except from near the top where there was a big black eye, and on the right side was another big black eye but no hair was present, that side of its face had a big dark scar running down the middle of that side, what was even weirder about this creature was that it didn’t even have a nose!
Paige was so surprised, and she was just about to orb to safety, when she noticed it holding a strange object-it was like a knife but it had spikes sticking out of one side, the demon threw the weapon towards Paige and she managed to orb away just in time. She appeared at the manor directly in front of Phoebe who was now dressed wearing a long sleeved, black sparkly top with a long baby pink coloured skirt, Phoebe was also wearing black shoes.
Phoebe jumped in fright and screamed “arghhhh”, “oh, Paige… it’s just you, quick let me get pass, I got to go see Jason.” “Why?” asked Paige, “because I’m supposed to be meeting him for a drink in fifteen minutes.” Phoebe answered happily. “Well sorry but your plans are changed, and you need to ring Jason and tell him you’re stuck at home with a family emergency or something” Paige quickly told her sister. “Has something happened? You’re not making any sense!” Phoebe questioned Paige. “Yes, I was just sat under a tree, when a very weird and ugly demon appeared and scared the hell out of me with a weapon I’ve never seen before!” Paige told Phoebe all about it as they walked up to the attic fast to search in the ‘Book of Shadows’.
Paige had been looking through the ‘Book’ for the demon for quite a while and she still couldn’t find anything, she was just about to give up when she turned another page and saw a picture which looked exactly like the demon she had escaped from outside, then she read the title “Degba”, “hey Phebe’s, I’ve found it, come an have a look.” “Oh my god! That’s the funniest demon I’ve ever seen!” Phoebe joked but then tried to act more seriously and stopped laughing, “so what does it say about the demon, Paige?”
“Well it says… ‘An upper level demon with many powers, he is able to throw fire balls, send jolts of electricity through its horns, can run really fast and to get to far places quicker it can dissolve (where it dissolves away and then reappears in some other place as water but changes back quickly)’. It also says that there are other unknown powers that it has”. Paige read from the magical book. “Ok, does it say how to vanquish it?” Phoebe asked. “Um…I’ll have a look…yeah, there’s one at the bottom of the page, it’s a spell and a potion which Piper can whip up easily, is she going to be home soon? What’s she doing at the club on a Saturday morning anyway?” Paige asked curiously. “Well, I think she’s meeting someone to discuss things for the ‘New Years Eve’ party.” Phoebe replied. “And where exactly are Wyatt and Chris?” Phoebe asked worriedly. “Oh, they are safe playing at Darryl’s house.” Paige answered calmly. “Can you pass me the note pad and pen please Phoebe- I’m going to write up the spell for us” Paige asked
Piper had just come out of P3 and was heading towards her car with her bag, it was cold and snowing, Piper had a lovely long, black coat on with fur at the end of the sleeves and at the bottom of the coat. She started to open the car door and get in when she was struck by lightening from behind her, which caused her to fall and black out.
Phoebe went downstairs to ring Jason to tell him she couldn’t come but the telephone was half under a poster advertising the ‘New Years Eve’ party at P3, and as Phoebe moved the poster out of the way she got that funny feeling where she always received a premonition- and she saw Degba attacking Piper outside the nightclub. When the premonition was over she rushed back upstairs to the attic to tell Paige and to ask her to orb them both to Piper. “Paige! Quick we need to go to P3 car park- Piper has been attacked by Degba with electricity” Phoebe said quickly. Paige held Phoebe’s hand and they orbed to P3 car park, but Piper wasn’t there-“maybe she hasn’t been attacked yet.” Paige said. “No, she has definitely been attacked by him because in my vision I saw Piper opening her car door, and her car door is open.” Phoebe said, pointing to Piper’s car. “Well maybe someone saw her and called for an ambulance-lets orb to the hospital.” Paige suggested. When they were at the hospital car park they both ran to reception and found that Piper was there and they went to see her.
Piper woke up in hospital confused and worried, doctors came to her when they noticed she was awake and they started to ask questions. Her head was aching so much- it was terrible. After half an hour of total boredom the doctors finally stopped questioning Piper because she told them that she didn’t know what had happened, and that the last thing she remembers is getting into her car and then waking up in hospital. They made sure she was ok, and her sisters came into where Piper was and took her home, on the way home they told Piper all about ‘Degba’.
When they arrived at their home, Phoebe ran up to the attic to get the Book of Shadows, so she could show Piper the picture of Degba and so they could see how to make the potion. She came back down the stairs with the book and went into the kitchen, and put it down on the side for Piper to see.
“Piper could you make the potion please if you’re feeling alright?” asked Phoebe with an arm around Piper’s shoulder. “Yep, sure, I feel fine now!” replied Piper.
“Okay, see you guys in a bit-I’m going to go pick up the boys while you make the potion” Paige said to Phoebe and Piper as she headed out the kitchen with her coat on and her car keys in her hand.
“See you in a bit” Phoebe replied to Paige.
“Bye Paige.” Piper replied to Paige.
“Bye.” Paige shouted back to them both as she walked out the front door.
Piper was stirring a pot of boiling water and mixed herbs. She was about half way finished doing the potion. Piper grabbed a handful of salt and chucked it into the pot-there was a slight bang and she then put in some ice cubes with a spoon, all Piper had to do now was add the final ingredients-some ‘rosemary’ and a small bit of ‘toad skin’, she added them both together and the potion made a loud “BANG” sound and purple smoke came from the top of the potion, but the potion wasn’t purple-it was blue! Piper turned the stove off and had a look in the Book of Shadows to check it was supposed to be those colours-and it said in the book that when it was finished ‘purple smoke will come from the top of a blue potion’. So she put some of the potion into three small glass bottles and added corks to the top to stop spillage. She then put one of the bottles into her pocket.
Paige came into the Halliwell house through the front door with Wyatt and Chris and took them to their bedroom to sleep because they had worn themselves out at Darryl’s house. Paige went downstairs quickly and went into the kitchen to join her sisters “everything ready?” Paige asked. “Uh-huh, let’s get this demon” Phoebe replied. “Oh-no, how do we find it?” Piper asked worriedly. “Oh-I’ll write a summoning spell” Phoebe volunteered.
“How are the boys?” asked Piper
“I’ve put them to bed-they are sleeping” said Paige.
“Something doesn’t feel right though, I’m going to go check on them” Piper said, and she ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs quickly. Paige and Phoebe picked up a potion bottle each and followed out of the kitchen and up the stairs running after Piper.
Told you guys something wasn’t right, guess we don’t need a summoning spell- The demon is here trying to get my baby’s!” Piper shouted to her sisters just before they ran into the room to meet up with her.
“Hey, leave my son’s alone!” Piper shouted furiously. She tried to blow up the demon but it didn’t affect it at all. Luckily Wyatt had orbed to Chris and conjured up his protection bubble around both of them. The demon turned round and threw a fireball towards Piper, Paige orbed it back at Degba though, but the demon shielded itself with a magical force field appearing in front of it when it put its hand up, and disappearing when it lowered its hand. With the other hand the demon threw the strange knife at Paige, she ducked just in time and the weapon hit the wall behind her hard. The demon then fired some sort of bullets from its mouth, “that’s new, it didn’t say about that in the Book of Shadows, but it did say that Degba had unknown powers” Paige said surprisingly, at the same time Piper froze the bullets just before they hit Phoebe, and Phoebe jumped up high above the bullets and levitated towards the Demon and kicked it on to the floor. Piper froze Degba as it hit the floor. Paige pulled out some paper from her pocket and handed one piece to each of her sisters. “Let’s say the weakening spell and then vanquish this revolting demon with the potion!” Paige told her sisters. They all read the spell out loud, together:
They all threw a potion at the demon beast and the demon set on fire and started to burn away, it then unfroze and started screaming and when it was gone it left nothing behind except from a burnt mark on the carpet.
Piper ran over to Chris’ cot to check her cute sons were ok, thank-god they were fine. Piper cuddled both her children, happy they were not hurt.
It was Christmas morning and Paige was up first-she was wearing flowery p.j’s, she rushed into Phoebe’s room singing a Christmas song and jumped on her sister’s bed and woke her up. They both went into Pipers room and Paige did the same to Piper as she did to Phoebe to wake her up. They all then went into the boys’ room and they had begun to wake up. “Hey, Paige, you’re very happy.” Phoebe said. “Yes I most certainly am- it’s Christmas, we should all be happy.” Paige said cheerfully with a great big smile on her face. “Lets go downstairs and open our presents- what do you say Wyatt and Chris?” Piper asked smiling.
“Race you to the Christmas tree!” Paige said. Everybody ran downstairs towards the tree in the lounge except Piper, Wyatt and Chris. Piper picked up Chris and held Wyatt’s hand, “come on boys, let’s orb down there and beat everybody.” She said to her sons. Wyatt then orbed them all downstairs and they were first there. “Hey-no fair, you cheated!” Paige shouted from the stairway. “You could have orbed too” Piper shouted back, jokingly. They all sat around the tree and handed presents to each other and then Leo orbed in and said “Happy Christmas everybody” and gave his sons a kiss each, he gave everybody a present each, and then went to Piper last and kissed her.[/font][/color]
