I decided to make a new tread, so I could update the update date.
Ch. 1 Paige Matthews sat on the edge of her seat as the car neared its destination. She was going to meet Prue, well sort of any way. It was Memorial Day and her older half sister, Phoebe, had suggested they go pay their respect. Her oldest half sister, Piper, had been against it at first, but Phoebe had persuaded her to go along with it. Paige thought it might have something to do with Piper missing Prue so much. She figured that seeing Prue's grave wouldn't make it much easier for her. Although Prue hadn't come up at all lately, Paige was sure that was the reason. The car pulled to a stop outside of the San Francisco Cemetery. However, Paige didn't realize it until she heard Phoebe open the door of Piper's dark blue Jeep. As the three made their way to the "Halliwell Graves", Paige saw Phoebe shudder. Paige looked around frantically to make sure it wasn't a demon that had made Phoebe shudder. That's right a demon. Paige and her two half sisters, along with Prue and the rest of the Halliwell line, were witches. As a matter of fact, it was a demon named Shax, which had killed Prue. Another demon, the Water Demon, had killed their mother. While Grams simply died of a heart attack. It was these three women they were visiting today. As it turned out, there was no demon in sight. It was a different kind of demon that had made Phoebe shudder, inner demons. Phoebe had seen the tombstone of her ex-husband's father. Her ex happened to be Cole Turner. The ex love of her life and current demon. Paige looked sympathetically at her sister. She knew Phoebe and Cole had been through a lot together. Paige sighed. She wished she had somebody that cared about her just as much as Cole cared about Phoebe, even if he was evil. On second thought, maybe I do have someone who cares about me that much, Paige thought looking at her sisters, I have them. "Come on Paige!" her sisters yelled. "Sorry I guess I got a little sidetracked back there," Paige apologized. "A little?" Phoebe questioned, “Try a lot. What were you thinking about anyway?" "Oh nothing, just thinking," Paige replied. "That's new," Piper said softly. Phoebe glared at her. "I was just kidding," Piper said softer. Must be Prue, Paige thought. "You guys over here!" Paige called, "I found the Halliwell graves!"

Phoebe's eyes welled up with tears as she stared at the graves in front of her. She barely knew her mother, Patty, because she had died when Phoebe was only three. She had known Grams a lot longer, but she had died so suddenly. Also, after they had discovered their powers, Grams had come back for several visits and corporal to boot. So, Paige had been able to meet this Halliwell legend. Phoebe glanced over at Piper, who looked like she could double over in pain at any minute. Phoebe knew how much Prue meant to Piper. Not that Phoebe didn't care about Prue, because she did, it's just... Piper and Prue were a lot closer than she had ever been with Prue. "Are you okay Piper?" phoebe asked concerned. No reply. Phoebe glanced at Paige who was staring at the graves solemnly. Then she glanced back at Piper. This must be really hard for her, Phoebe thought. A tear rolled down Phoebe's cheek the same time one rolled down Piper's. Phoebe thought that Piper's tear looked bigger. Too bad Leo, Piper's husband and the family's whitelighter, couldn't be here to comfort her. Of course he was probably off somewhere with another one of his charges. Of all the times for another charge to need their Guardian Angel. Then again maybe Piper doesn't need Leo right now, Phoebe thought. After all she has us, her sisters. She thought about telling Piper that, but she decided not to. Phoebe figured that her older sister knew that though. And her sisters were there for her too, no matter what.

Phoebe spun around quickly. Did I just hear voices? Phoebe asked herself. She shook it off and kept walking. Then she heard them again. "Did you guys hear that?" Phoebe asked her sisters. "Hear what?" Paige questioned. "Those voices." "Phoebe are you okay?" Piper inquired. "Yeah I just must be hearing things." But I know I heard those voices, I know did. She heard them again. They were calling her, screaming out pain. The voices were in her head, screaming, yelling, calling. "Make them stop!" Phoebe wailed. Their pain was becoming unbearable. "Phoebe what's wrong?" Piper asked in a panicked tone. “The voices," Phoebe stuttered, "They're in my head. And I can feel their pain!" "Like when Prue was an empath?" Piper questioned. "I don't know. I just want them to stop!" Paige cocked her head, “An empath?" "Don't ask," Piper moaned. "Wait a minute," Phoebe started, “The voices are gone." "Just like that?" Piper inquired. "Yeah, at least I think they are."

Ch. 2 Despite the weird mishap earlier with Phoebe, Piper had experienced something pretty weird herself. She could have sworn she heard voices too. But the voices were more specific. In fact they sounded a lot like Prue. She wanted to hear them again. Hear Prue's voice. After they left the cemetery, the sisters went to a local sandwich shop for lunch. But right now they were at home waiting for Leo. Phoebe wanted to ask him about the voices, as did Piper about Prue's. Piper glanced at her two "baby" sisters. One she had known since she was a baby; the other she had not come contact with until she was no longer a child. Piper also thought the older sister was supposed to do all of the “teaching". But Phoebe and Paige had taught her things Prue never could have. Why she was comparing Paige and Prue, she didn't know. She figured hearing Prue's voice had something to do with it. She was brought out of her sister comparing when Leo orbed in. Phoebe practically ran over to him full of questions. Piper thought it would be best to ask him about the possible Prue voice later. After all, she would hate to get Phoebe all worked up over nothing.

"Voices? What kind of voices?" Leo asked. "Screaming, angry crying voices," Phoebe replied possibly the voices of innocents." "Possibly the voices of enraged innocents," Paige quipped. "My point is," Phoebe started looking at Paige, "should I follow up on it or not?" She returned her gaze to Leo. "I don't know maybe I should go talk to the Elders," Leo suggested. "But you just got home," Piper protested. I need to talk to him, Piper thought "but how else am I suppose to help Phoebe with her 'voices'?" he asked her. "We could check The Book of Shadows." Piper put in. The Book of Shadows contained spells, potions, demon info. and more. In fact the first spell in the book had given them their powers. But only because Phoebe had read it aloud not knowing what destiny the spell held. "I doubt the book will have anything on that particular topic,” Paige responded. "Honey, I agree with Paige. I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise." Leo then kissed Piper on the forehead and orbed off. Great. I'm out numbered, again, Piper thought. The room fell into silence. Piper turned and headed upstairs. Phoebe started to stop her, but didn't. She sort of blamed herself for Piper's sudden disappearance. Piper had wanted to be with Leo and she had made him leave, again. Phoebe turned to Paige, who shrugged and went upstairs herself. That left Phoebe standing alone in the foyer.

Samtaung and his ally, Nanoot, sat laughing in their lair. The Charmed Ones had fallen right into their trap. Phoebe did as they thought she would; believe that the voices were the voices of innocents in trouble. Soon she would bend to their will, obey their every command. Because the voices Phoebe was hearing were actually theirs. Piper on the other hand, thought she was hearing Prue. Yet it was only Nanoot's power to mimic voices. "Our plan is working accordingly," Samtuang hissed. "I know it’s marvelous isn't it?" Nanoot said glee fully,"If only the process of it all was quicker." "Stop complaining! The time soon enough." Samtaung said simply. "But I can not wait that long!" Nanoot protested, "I want the Charmed Ones out of my way now!" "Have patience Nanoot!" Samtaung sneered, "Taking down the Charmed Ones takes time. And besides only one thing can stop us, the Majestic Ring."
Ch. 3 Piper felt guilty about leaving like that. She knew it wasn't entirely Phoebe's fault. But she really needed to talk to Leo. Now even more than before. When she had arrived in her room, Prue's voice had come to her, again. Just then Leo orbed in. Piper ran up to him and embraced him in a big, warm hug. Leo looked down at her a little bit surprised. When Piper pulled away she asked, "What did you find out about Phoebe's voices?" "Nothing," Leo replied. "What do you mean nothing?" Piper asked stunned. The Elders almost always had an answer. "I mean nothing. The Elders don't have a clue what this could be. I'll go tell Phoebe and Paige what I found out," Leo replied starting to leave the room. "Leo wait!" Piper called. Leo turned around. "Today I heard Prue's voice, twice actually." "Piper, honey, are you sure?" Leo asked. "Yes Leo, honey, I'm sure, “Piper said mockingly, "I mean who else could it be?" "Piper, why didn't you tell me this earlier?" "I didn't want to get Phoebe all worked up over it. After all, it may just be my imagination." "Didn't you hear Grams voice before?" Leo questioned. "Well yeah but that was on our one year anniversary of becoming witches," Piper stated. "When's your anniversary?" "Next month." "I see," Leo said, hope dashed. Piper could tell that Leo wanted to be right about the anniversary thing. "And you're sure it was Prue's voice that you heard, and not some innocent like Phoebe keeps hearing?" Leo questioned. "Leo it sounded like Prue," Piper protested.

"What did Prue say exactly?" "You know I'm not sure. It was just a faint whisper," Piper recalled. "Then how do you know it was Prue?" Leo wanted to know. "I just do okay!" Piper said, "It's like a sisterly instinct." "Okay, okay. Piper calm down." "Sorry Leo." "It's okay," Leo said before turning and heading towards the door. "Leo where are you going?!" I'm going to go tell your sisters that your sisters that I didn't find out anything," he stated simply. "But Leo," Piper complained. Leo cut her off. "Piper we'll talk later, I promise," Leo said starting out the door the again. "Prue!" Piper yelled suddenly. Leo spun around. Piper listened to what her older sister was trying to say. Piper I'm here, Prue's voice filled her head. "Where?" Piper asked. Here, came her reply. Then her voice was gone. Piper looked around frantically and then sighed. No Prue in sight. "Piper?" Leo asked worried. "Oh Leo," Piper sighed softly. "I'm losing it aren't I?" "Piper you're not losing it," Leo soothed embracing her in a hug. "Why would you think that you're losing it?" "I keep hearing Prue. Or at least thinking I'm hearing her. What if it's not really her? What if someone is messing with mind?" Piper whispered. "Maybe all you need is some rest. I'm sure no one is messing with your mind, honey," Leo reassured her. He then left.
Nanoot simmered back into his lair and changed back into his own body. He had turned himself into a lamp to spy on Piper. When she started telling Leo about Prue, Nanoot had quickly siezed the opportunity to project his Prue voice into Piper's mind. "That was close," Nanoot sighed. "Too close," Samtaung hissed, "The witch is on to us." "She doesn't even know who we are," Nanoot protested,"How can se be on to us?" "She suspects someone is messing with her mind. And we are," Samtaung sneered. "Fine, some how I'll manage to take a look at their Book of Shadows and find if we're in it. Will that please you?" Nanoot suggested. "It will do." Samtaung said softly. There was a silence. "Don't mess this up Nanoot," Samtaung said seriously, "This may be our only chance." "I'm well aware of that sir." "Well don't just stand there, get to work!" "I'm on it!"

Leo Wyatt was on his way up to the attic. There he found exactly what he was looking for, Phoebe and Paige. The sisters hovered over the podium that held the Book of Shadows. Obviously looking for an answer to Phoebe's problem. "Oh hi Leo," Phoebe said looking up from the magical book, "What did you find out?" "Nothing. The Elders are stumped, “Leo replied.”That's new," Paige said softly. "Paige, this is serious!" Phoebe protested. "Well excuse me for not seeing the seriousness behind it," Paige shot back. Phoebe opened her mouth to respond, but Leo cut her off, "You guys this is not the time for that." Why is something wrong?" Paige asked worried. "Not that I know of," Leo responded going over his thoughts. "Then I don't see why we can't argue, “Paige said turning to face Phoebe. "Paige now really isn't the time," Piper said walking into the attic. "Well, look who decided to come and help," Paige smirked. "Actually, I didn't come to help. I came to see where everybody was," Piper stated. Piper glanced at Phoebe who was holding her head with her eyes closed. "Phoebe are you...?" Piper asked. Phoebe cut her off with a 'shush'. She must be hearing voices again, Leo thought. Leo laughed at the way that sounded. Phoebe's eyes slowly opened and she grabbed Paige's shoulder for support. "Whoa," Phoebe muttered softly. "Premonition or voices?" Piper asked. "Voices," Phoebe replied.

"And were they saying anything this time? Or were they screaming again?" Paige asked sarcastically. "Paige," Phoebe said removing her hand from Paige's shoulder. Phoebe's expression looked troubled. "Sorry," Paige muttered. "So, were they saying anything?" Leo pried. Phoebe, who had been staring past Paige, glanced at her youngest sister and then stared at the floor. "Phoebe, what's wrong?" Piper asked worriedly. Phoebe opened her, but she just couldn't come to say what she had heard. "Phoebe," Piper prompted. "I can't." Phoebe whispered. Leo immeadiatly got the feeling that something was wrong. "You can't what?" Paige asked confused. All eyes were on Phoebe, who stood in the middle of the attic with a very troubled expression on her face. Phoebe looked from Paige to Piper, from Piper to Leo, and then she turned and ran out of the attic.

Phoebe ran into her room and locked the door. There was no way on earth she could tell her sisters, or Leo, what the voices had told her. She had no idea who the voices belonged to or if they were a reliable source. The voices had told her that she must choose between the lives of her sisters or her own.
Please tell me what you think! Thanks!

Someone was trying to destroy the Power of Three, but who could it be? A demon, Phoebe was sure, was the culprate. The problem was, there are just too many demons out there to narrow it down. Phoebe swatted away a tear as it rolled down her cheek. What am I going to do? she thought nervously. She knew she couldn't let her sisters die. Afterall, she loved them. But she had worked so hard to get where she was today. Phoebe needed to know, now more than ever, who those voices belonged to. The only problem was that the Book of Shadows was all the way up in the attic. Which was the very place that she had left her family. She decided to stay in her room until she heard them pass. Then she would sneak up to the attic and look up "demons who can project their voices into other people's minds". The only factor that interferred with her plan was that she had to do it without her sisters seeing her. Phoebe couldn't bear talk to them right now. So she sat down on her bed and waited; waited for the right moment to sneak upstairs.
