Paige was getting impatient, Charlotte would not tell her anything. "How am I supposed to get home?" she pestered.
"I can't tell you, it could affect.."
"My personal future, I know you keep telling me. Phoebe is in trouble you know that right?"
"I can't tell you. I'm sorry."
Paige paced up and down the room. "Well in that case can I at least get a coffee?"
"I can't allow you to leave this room."
"You can't allow me to leave this room." said Paige sarcastically "And how exactly do you propose to stop me?" Paige smiled and waved at Charlotte intending to orb out but nothing happened.
"You can't use your powers here, you don't exist anymore so you have no powers."
"Oh." said Paige deflated.
Charlotte picked up a large dusty book and started reading. Paige stood watching her. "What are you reading?" Charlotte ignored her. "Would talking to me affect my personal future too?" asked Paige sarcastically.
Charlotte looked up from the book. "I can't risk telling you anything about your personal future. You drummed that into me when I was a child."
"I..drummed that into you? Why....was I preparing you for this moment?" Charlotte glared at her just the way Piper often did.
"OK, I will stop asking questions." said Paige resignedly sitting on the floor. "Got anything I can read?"
At that moment a door was flung open.

Grams picked up a book from the counter and passed it to Piper. Piper looked through it. "Is this...a spell book?"
"Its my back up. Demons and Witches are always trying to steal the Book of Shadows and anyway somethings its impossible to get up to the attic during a fight. Turn to the back page."
Piper did so and read. "This will bring down the veil....how long have you been working on this?"
"My mother told me that it may be possible to stabilise the room but first you have to get to it."
"And thats what you are doing...trying to get to the room. Grams what if you got stuck there?"
"No darling, I'm not going to stabilise the room you are."
"ME..but.."
"Now darling you are a Charmed One and Paige is a Charmed One you two should have enough power to do this."
Piper stood thinking for a moment. "Paige is gone." she said quitely.
Grams walked to Piper and put her arm around her. It reminded Piper of when she was a child and Grams would comfort her. "She is in the Lost Room." Piper raised her head and opened her mouth to speak "No, no don't ask me how I know. Paige is in the Lost Room and you have to go there and stabilise the room."
Piper nodded.


Paige's Bedroom (15 minutes later)


"Its ready...Piper..?"
"I'm ready." Piper said. She looked at Leo. "Take care of Phoebe." Leo nodded and smiled.
Piper grasped the potion vial in her hand. She walked to the wardrobe, it was full of Paige's clothing. She tossed the vial inside. There was a cloud and as it cleared Piper could make out a hallway. She stepped through.

Piper scanned the hallway, she could see no-one. She made for Paige's room. Opening the door she was met with the smell of lavendar. She peered inside, it obviously wasn't Paige's room anymore everything was different. Piper moved to the wardrobe and opened the door, nothing. It was just a wardrobe. Piper sighed, she was hoping it would be that easy but obviously she would have to search the entire house for the lost room.
"If I have to search I'm gonna start at the top." she said to herself. She made her way up to the attic, from outside the door she could hear voices. Pyching herself up for a fight Piper flung open the door and waved her hands to freeze the occupants of the attic.

"Piper!!!" came a yell from inside the attic.
Piper peered her head from the attic door frame "Paige?"

Piper walking into the room. "Paige, why did you leave Phoebe all alone?"
An old woman stepped forward from the shadows. She had silvery hair and stooped a little.
"Oh, I thought you were Paige." said Piper apologetically.
"I am Paige." replied the old woman.
Piper's mouth fell open "But..." she managed to say.
"You have to the wrong time Piper. Your Paige is further into the future, about 70 years further."
"What? What happened?"
"You know I can't tell you that." replied elderly Paige.
Piper sighed. "You are going to help me aren't you...PAIGE?" asked Piper.
"Yes I am but be nice." replied elderly Paige.
Piper looked her in the eye and broke into a smile. "You look....different." she said stiffling a laugh.
"Oh yeah, well you ain't looking too sprightly these days either." snapped elderly Paige.
"So how do I get to my Paige." asked Piper.
"You have to find the correct portal. We have been keeping records, activity has increased a lot the last few decades." replied elderly Paige handing Piper a notebook. "Phoebe went for a shower once and walked straight into the 1890's."
"Phoebe's is going to be OK then." said Piper a little relieved.
Elderly Paige smiled. "We are all going to be OK Piper."
"OK, so any idea where the portal I need is?" asked Piper.
Elderly Paige looked at Piper a little sheepishly. "Not really, no."

Grams watched little Phoebe. She had been quiet, really quiet, that was not the Phoebe she remembered. "Phoebe, darling. Do you want some cookies?" she asked.
Phoebe looked at her with a blank expression.
"Oh dear." said Grams calmly. She put her hand behind little Phoebe's head and let her to the lounge. "Sit down Phoebe." Little Phoebe sat down as instructed. "Now you stay here." instructed Grams.
Grams made her way upstairs to Phoebe's room where Adult Phoebe lay unconcious on the bed. Grams looked at her for a moment before placing her hand on her forehead. She felt cool to the touch. Grams walked out of the room and up the stairs to the attic. Breathing hard she walked to the Book of Shadows and began flicking through the pages. After a few minutes she found what she was looking for, the truth spell. Grams read aloud:
"For those who want the truth revealed,
opened hearts and secrets unsealed,
from now until now again,
after which the memory ends,
those who are now in this house,
will hear the truth from others mouths"
Grams closed the book and headed back downstairs, looking in once again on Adult Phoebe on her way. When she got downstairs she went into the lounge where little Phoebe sat waiting. Grams half hoped she would not be there, that she had wandered off to play, with a sigh she took a seat beside her.
"Phoebe, look at me. Now, why are you here?" Grams asked.
Little Phoebe looked at her with that same blank expression. "To stop them." she replied flatly.
"To stop who?" asked Grams softly.
"The witches." replied the girl flatly.
"Witches? Who are you talking about which witches?" asked Grams a little agitated.
"The lady witches." said the girl.
Grams sighed. "This isn't working too well, you don't understand do you?" said Grams more to herself than little Phoebe. "Can you tell me what the witches look like?"
Little Phoebe stared at Grams for a moment and then started to speak. "They had dark hair and dark eyes." she said.
"Can you draw them?" asked Grams.
Little Phoebe nodded. Grams went to the bureau and pulled out some paper and pens. She put them in front of little Phoebe who immediately started to draw.
As Grams watched, little Phoebe drew. As the figures took shape Grams realised with horror little Phoebe was drawing The Charmed Ones.

Piper sat in the lounge flicked through the notebook hoping something would jump out at her and yell ME ME ME, but nothing did. She sighed. "This is hopeless I don't know what to do." she complained.
Elderly Paige brought her a cup of coffee and set down beside her. "Maybe you are going about this the wrong way." she said
"What do you mean?" asked Piper
"Well...maybe you should let your heart decide and not your head."
Piper thought about what Elderly Paige had just said. "That might work." she said springing to her feet. "I don't suppose you have a lock of your hair from my time." asked Piper.
Elderly Paige thought for a moment and then a smile spread over her face. "I think I have something even better." she said getting to her feet.
She took Piper by the hand and led her to a glass cabinet against the wall. "Do you remember Glen?"
"Yeah of course." said Piper with a smile.
"Well...I bumped into him a while after his wedding and he still has some of my stuff."
"How does that help me?" asked Piper.
"This." said Elderly Paige pulling a small ornament out of the cabinet "has my blood on it."
"Ah, I get it." said Piper. "I use the blood to find you...but what if I keep finding you you?"
"If you start here and go through a portal it is unlikely you would come right back here don't you think?" said Elderly Paige.
"You're right." said Piper. "Well lets get to work."

The two of them worked on a spell incorporating Paige's blood from the ornament. Once the spell was ready Piper readied herself in the lounge. "I hope this works." she said
"It will." replied Elderly Paige with a smile.
Piper recited the spell:

Blood to Blood I call on thee
To my sister Paige take me
Blood to Blood now take me
To Paige in her reality

With that a portal appeared in front of Piper, giving Elderly Paige a smile Piper stepped through.

Grams put her hand around little Phoebe. “Why do you have to stop them?” she asked, her calm voice concealing her shock at the image she saw before her.
“They are going to let it out.” Replied little Phoebe flatly.
“Let what out dear?”
“The power.” Replied little Phoebe again flatly.
Grams thought for a moment, could she mean the power of the nexus, the power the house was seated on? “Which power is that dear?” she asked.
“The power of the spirits.”
“The power of the spirits? Which spirits? Where are the spirits?” asked Grams
“The spirits of the earth, they are trapped below. They will escape through the house.” Stated little Phoebe.
“What will the spirits do if they escape?” asked Grams.
“They will change it.”
“Change what dear?”
“Everything.” Replied little Phoebe flatly.
Grams looked at the picture of her granddaughter on the table in front of her. They would never knowingly unleash that kind of power on the world.
“How will the witches let out the power of the spirits?” asked Grams.
“They will say a spell to open the door.”
“Open the door…to let the power out?” queried Grams.
Little Phoebe looked into Grams eyes and nodded.
Grams pulled the little girl to her and embraced her.
“How do we stop the power from escaping?” she asked.
“I am here, they can’t do it now.” Replied the girl.
“Why can’t they do it…they need the power of three.” Realized Grams. “How have you made Phoebe sleep?”
“I have replaced her in this time.” Replied the girl.
“Who sent you here?”
“You did.” Answered little Phoebe with a puzzled expression on her face. “Don’t you remember?”
“Silly Grams, I forgot.” Replied Grams.
Grams sat thinking. I need to know more. She thought. Taking a piece of paper and a pen Grams began writing a spell.

Power of the witches rise
Remove the shield from my eyes
Show me what I need to see
Bring the hidden knowledge to me.

Grams recited the spell, the instant she was finished there was a rush of wind and Grams was knocked unconscious.

Piper found herself in the hallway outside the attic door. Taking a deep breath she flung open the door and peered inside. The room was brightly lit and sitting in the centre of the room with a book in her lap was Paige. “Paige!” yelled Piper.
Paige got to her feet and ran over to Piper wrapping her arms around her. “I am so pleased to see you.” Gushed Paige.
Piper fought back tears. “Me too.” She managed to say.
“Are you crying?” asked Paige a little shocked.
“No!” said Piper defensively.
Paige gave her a look, took her by the hand and led her to Charlotte. “This is Charlotte, your granddaughter.” Said Paige smiling.
“My….granddaughter?” stammered Piper.
“Hi Grams.” Said Charlotte with a giggle. Piper stood with her mouth open unable to speak. “We have work to do.” Said Charlotte getting straight down to business.
Piper composed herself. “Yes, we have to stabilize the lost room.” Stated Piper.
“How do we do that?” asked Paige.
“I don’t know yet…maybe…” Piper said looked at Charlotte who cut her off mid sentence.
“I am not supposed to help you. You taught me that.” Stated Charlotte.
“But I don’t know what to do.” Argued Piper.
“Well you obviously figured it out because this room is the lost room and its stable.” Replied Charlotte.
“But this is the attic.” Argued Piper.
Charlotte walked over to the window and beckoned Piper over. Piper joined Charlotte at the window and looked out. As she looked out she realized they were much higher than the attic should be. “Do you mean to tell me we have 2 attics now?” asked Piper.
Charlotte smiled.
“Oh brother, another room to clean.” Said Piper.
“You like cleaning.” Said Paige.
Piper glared at her. “Charlotte, can I look at the book?” asked Piper.
Charlotte looked her grandmother in the eye. “No, you can’t. There is stuff in there you can’t know.”
“Well do a spell of something to erase my memory later. Grams…our Grams used to do it all the time.” Argued Piper. Paige nodded in agreement.
Charlotte thought for a moment. “OK, but I have to erase your memories later or we could affect your future.”
“Fine.” Said Piper.
Charlotte led them out of the room and down a flight of stairs to an identical hallway. They went into the attic where the Book of Shadows still rested in its stand.
“Wow, the book is so big. How do you lift it?” asked Paige looking at the Book of Shadows which was now double in size.
Piper looked around the attic, it hadn’t changed much. “Why don’t you keep the Book of Shadows in the other attic?” asked Piper pointing upwards.
“It’s a long way to run when you’re under attack. And anyway we don’t use that attic.” Replied Charlotte.
“Then why were you in there when I arrived?” asked Paige.
“Waiting for you two.” Replied Charlotte.
Piper and Paige looked at each other but said nothing. “So how do we stabilize the room?” asked Piper.
