This is a fanfic mostly starring Piper and Leo. This story also has a lot of my own original characters. I hope it's in the right place, and more importantly, I hope you like it!
Part One
"What is it now?" Piper said turning around to look at her husband, Leo. Leo and Piper were supposed to be on vacation to New York City for a week. They'd only been there a day and Leo had already grown anxious.
"It's nothing... it's just. What if something happens to Chris and we're not there?" He was clearly trying to make excuses and Piper wasn't hearing any of it.
"We've gone through this how many times now? Paige and Phoebe are taking care of the kids so we could enjoy our time here. Personally, I'm tired of all the vanquishing. I'm finally ready to take a rest from it." Piper walked over towards Leo who was standing about a foot away. She grabbed him by the hand and looked him in the eyes. "Everything's going to be alright." She laughed inside her head thinking about how she was clearly taking the role of the husband.
"You can never be too sure..." Leo said. As the two began walking, Piper gasped. Leo jumped and began looking around for any kind of demon. When he looked at his wife, she was gazing into a store window.
"Those shoes would be perfect for Phoebe! Her birthday's coming up afterall." Leo rolled his eyes at Piper. He was amazed at how calm she'd be all this time. He began to smile. However, that smile quickly faded away when all of a sudden a scream errupted from a back alley.
"Can't I ever get a break?" Piper said. She immediately turned away from the store window and ran towards the alley. As she turned a corner, she saw a woman clutching her purse as a demon approached her.
The demon was around six feet and had razor sharp claws. His eyes were pitch black and were almost like pools of tar. Piper's immediate reaction was to blow him up, however, before she could raise her hands to do so, the demon went flying across the alley. The woman with the purse took this as a sign and ran off. Confused, Piper looked around.
Leo came up behind Piper. "What's going on?"
"I don't know." She replied. "I was going to blow him up and then..."
The demon was walking back to find out what had flung him. He looked over at Piper and Leo.
"Hey big and ugly!" A voice sounded from above. Piper and Leo looked up to see a young man sitting on a fire escape. "Looking for me?" He asked. The demon ran towards him but before he could, he was sent flying once more. The young man jumped down from the fire escape. He walked over to Piper and Leo.
Piper and Leo surveyed this guy. He couldn't have been any older than nineteen. He had short brown hair that was gelled up. He had blue-green eyes and a coy smile. He was dressed in a red shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans.
"The name's Tai." He said, outreaching his hand to Piper and Leo. The two didn't budge. "Oh... tourists." A rustling of garbage came from behind them. "Oh for crying out loud, these things never stay down. Sorry." Tai turned around and jumped on the demon.
Tai pummeled the demon with punches until it lay unconscious. "That ought to do it." Tai said dusting off his pants. He walked back over to the couple. "Sorry about that. I hope that wasn't too traumatizing. Probably don't see that everyday."
"Oh you'd be surprised." Piper said. Once again, the demon began to rise. Piper rolled her eyes. She flicked her wrist and the demon exploded in an array of reds, oranges and yellows. Only dust remained.
"That was cool." Tai said. "We better get out of here. I'm sure someone's called the police after the Kappa demon. I got to jet. I'll see you around!" Tai patted Piper on the shoulder and brushed up against Leo like a cat. He then headed out of the alley and into the traffic.
"Was he a...?"
"Yep. A witch." Leo replied before Piper could finish her question.
"He's got Prue's power too..." Piper added. "Why don't we get back to the hotel. I think I'm going to give Paige and Phoebe a call. I want to see what they think of this." Piper started to walk away.
"Piper, why don't we just go home?" Leo suggested.
"You're not getting out of this so easily, mister." Piper walked back to Leo and dragged him off with her.

I truly enjoyed this, firefox, and would like to read more.
Since it's mainly just Piper and Leo, I wonder if it belongs in the couples section.
BUT I'm glad you didn't put it there, since I tend to not read any of those--just not my cup of tea while so far, this is!

YAY!! I was thinking no one was reading this. I wasn't ever going to post the second part to it. But I suppose I will now that I see someone's read it.

Here are parts two and three. Enjoy!
Part Two: In a trendy café, Kiesha and Melissa sat drinking coffee and discussing their respective weekends. "So then, he took me to this beautiful little restaurant and they had this special table set up for us. He had one red candle lit and had white rose petals scattered around it." Kiesha had her sunglasses on and she had this beautiful white halter top on. She gently touched her gold necklace as she thought about her boyfriend, Markus Crane. "But honey, the best part was later that night. Oh Lord, he had the headboard banging!" Kiesha said.
"Oh... stop. You're making me jealous. I've been single far too long." Melissa said looking down at her coffee. Her fingertip briefly circled the rim of the cup and then she set her hand down next to her coffee.
"I think your problem is you work too damn hard. I mean, all you do is write songs, record, and perform! And all of these between all the cases we receive with our private investigation gig. Come on now, I think it's time you just give it a rest." Kiesha said.
"I probably should, but it's not like I can. What if I take and break and when I get back to recording, everyone's forgotten me. I just couldn't live with myself if I messed up my own career. Singing is my life." As Melissa finished her sentence Kiesha reached over and put her hand over her friends', their skin instantly contrasting.
"No one will forget you, Melissa. You're beautiful and talented. No one will ever replace you." Kiesha said smiling. Unfortunately, their moment of friendship was interrupted by a ringing cell phone. Both Kiesha and Melissa reached for their phones. Kiesha discovered it was hers and opened it. "Hello?" Kiesha said. "Another one? For crying out loud, okay I'm on my way now." Kiesha hung up her phone and put it back in her pocket. "Sorry girl, I got to go. Work."
"Our work? Or your work?" Leading double lives was definitely hard to keep up with.
"Mine. There's apparently been another theft at the museum and I have to go check it out." Kiesha put down money beside her coffee and walked around the table. She gave her friend a kiss on the head and ran off.
Part Three: "A witch, eh?" Phoebe said over the phone to Piper. "I certainly don't remember any demon problems while I lived in New York." Phoebe paused. "Then again, I never knew about demons before we became the Charmed Ones."
Paige came into the kitchen bouncing Chris on her hip. She looked over at Phoebe who was standing over the counter with a cup of coffee right in front of her. She noticed she was on the phone. She walked over to the high chair and placed Chris inside it. Paige made sure to check on Wyatt who was playing quietly next to Phoebe.
"Well, I'd suggest just to keep your eyes out for anything weird. And remember, don't get too involved. You're not there to vanquish demons. You're there to have a romantic getaway." Phoebe said taking a sip from her coffee. "Oh! I read about this club called 'The Marquis'. I hear it's the hottest place to be. You should check it out while you're there." Phoebe paused to hear Piper's answer. "Okay, I'll talk to you later. Bye!" Phoebe hung up the phone and placed it next to a vial of a vanquishing potion they'd been working on.
"Piper, I assume." Paige said pushing out her lips.
"Yep. Seems like dear ol' sis found a witch on her first day in New York." Phoebe said. "I hope Piper doesn't feel the need to dig for any answers. She can be nosey like that."
"No, that would be you." Paige said jokingly.
"Oh shuddup." Phoebe said. "Okay, I have to get to work. So when I get home I'll take over baby duty." Phoebe gave her nephews kisses on the cheek and ran out the front door.

Here's the next little bit of "A Bite Out of The Big Apple". After this, is the big conclusion of sorts. Enjoy!
Part Four: It was around lunch time when Tai ran into his school, Hoshino Academy or "Academy of the Stars". He was three hours late and had already missed a class. He was going to have a chat with his teacher about his absence but decided against it. Those university professors can be so cold and uncaring sometimes. Tai made a decision to go to the library to take a rest.
As he approached the doors of the library he saw his reflection in the door's window. He rolled his eyes as he saw that his favourite shirt was ripped at the arm. "Oh for crying out loud... there's needs to be some kind of payroll for demon hunters." He sighed and opened the library door.
The library was one of the largest libraries in New York City and had nearly any book that one could ask for. It also had the largest collection of books on mythology and the supernatural. As Tai passed a chest full of ancient weapons and shields, he looked up towards the supernatural section. He spotted a familiar face, Elliott's.
Elliott was the mythology professor at the Academy and, in Tai's opinion, was the cutest. He had lightest blond hair imaginable and the most beautiful blue eyes. He also had impeccable style. Despite being nearly half of Elliott's age, Tai really had a thing for him. On several occasions, Elliott refused Tai's advances because of the controversy that would follow suit. On the other occasions though, anything was possible.
Tai had made his way up where Elliott was sitting. He was reading a book when Tai pulled up a seat. The two greeted each other then Elliott put his book gently on the table. Elliott quickly noticed the tear on Tai's arm and ran his finger along it. "Demon fighting before lunch again?"
"Yeah..." Tai's thoughts drifted to everything Elliott when the witch he met earlier popped into his head. "Oh yeah! Listen, can you do me a favor?"
Elliott scrunched his face and then asked, "What kind of favor?"
"Research."
"Tai, you know I have my hands full. The girls have had me really busy lately." Elliott said. There's one thing you should know about Elliott, he was the go-to man for the private investigators, the Femmes Fatales. He was the Giles to their Buffy.
"Please." Tai pouted and batted his blue-green eyes. When Elliott still wouldn't budge, Tai let out a big sigh. "Fine. But then you won't get to know about the two very interesting people I ran into today. One could blow things up!"
Although Elliott was swamped, he couldn't resist. He was curious. "Okay, what is it?"
"So I ran into a couple of tourists today while I was fighting a Kappa demon. Now check this, one of them was a witch who could make things go BOOM!" Tai chuckled. "It was the coolest power. Well, besides my telekinesis that is!"
"Or we dealing with a he or a she?"
"Oh, a she. Although, she was with some guy. They had rings, so they must be married." Tai replied.
"Did the guy have any powers?"
"No that I knew of. Too bad Jen wasn't with me, she could have done her mystical mojo on them to find out just what they were." Tai of course was referring to one of the Femmes Fatales, Jennette. She was a witch with the ability to sense supernatural occurances and could often analyze mystical creatures to find out their powers or weaknesses.
"Alright, I'll go find out who this witch is and you get to class!" Ever the teacher, Elliott hurried off with his book and headed off to the computers. Before Tai could think of some kind of witty comment or pun, the bell rang. Time for class.
Part Five: Leo found himself pacing back and forth in the hotel room. He couldn't get his mind off of what had happened earlier that day. First, a demon attacks and then a witch shows up. As much as Piper wanted him to drop it, he just couldn't. He wondered, did this witch have a whitelighter?
Piper came out of the bathroom. She was wearing a gorgeous silk blouse with a cute little black skirt. She slipped her feet into a pair of high heel shoes and walked over to Leo. "Leo, you're not even dressed yet." As Leo snapped back to reality, he realized that his dress-shirt was still undone and his belt was undone. "Don't tell me you're..."
"I'm sorry Piper but for some reason I just can't let it go." He sighed and sat down on their bed. "There's just..."
"Something about him you can't let go?" Piper finished Leo's sentence. The two looked at each other for a good minute before saying something. "I feel it too. There's something going on and I really want to know what it is. Vacation or not. But, tonight will be our night. We'll go out and see a musical and then go out to the club Phoebe suggested. Then tomorrow we'll get straight to work."
"Sounds like a plan." Leo said immediately buttoning-up his shirt.
"Phoebe is going to kill me. She told me to take a rest..." Piper rolled her eyes. She grabbed her purse once Leo was dressed and they left their hotel room.
Part Six: Melissa arrived at the Femmes Fatales Investigations office at eight o'clock. As she entered the doors, she noticed the complete silence. As she looked around, she noticed Nichelle sitting on a couch listening to some music on her iPod. Nichelle was probably the most powerful member of the Femmes Fatales. She had the ability to conjure anything her mind could think of.
Nichelle bobbed her head along to the music and her afro followed along. Melissa giggled. She walked over and tapped Nichelle on the shoulder. Startled, Nichelle jumped to her feet and pulled the earphones out of her ears. "Don't do that!" She scolded.
"Sorry. So any messages?" Melissa asked. She needed something to do so she didn't have to think about being single.
"Nope. Tonight's been actually really slow. It's a good thing you're here though because I have to go to work soon." Nichelle paused and then began laughing. "I don't ever know how I'm going to get used to having these two jobs. It's nice though. My job at the Marquis doesn't exactly let me blow off steam." Nichelle slipped her iPod into her pocket and went towards the coat hanger. As she grabbed her coat, she looked back at Melissa.
Melissa slowly sat down on the chair behind the main desk. Her expression was soft yet had a certain sadness to it. Nichelle put her coat back onto the hanger and walked over to Melissa. She positionned herself on the desk. "Okay, what's wrong?"
Melissa looked at Nichelle. She wanted to say everything was fine but she couldn't bring herself to do it. "It's not working. Working. That's all I ever do. I'm just getting so tired of it. I just want to be for a second, you know? Be able to compose my thoughts but I never have the time." Melissa looked out the window. The sun was just setting and she knew that the night would bring in some business.
"That's not it."
"No. It isn't. I'm lonely. I want a boyfriend. Is that so much to ask for?" Melissa nearly regretted just saying what she did because she knew what was coming next. Nichelle dragged her out of the chair and pulled her towards the coat hanger. Nichelle grabbed her coat.
"No work for you tonight! You're coming to work with me! You're going to dance the night away and attract all kinds of guys." Nichelle smiled and put on her coat. She rushed over to the door and turned off all the lights. As she dragged Melissa out of the warm office, she couldn't help but laugh.

This entry isn't going to be the last one as I said earlier. Turns out, this story is longer than I thought. So enjoy this entry. It has a cliffhanger any Charmed fan is sure to appreciate. I also appologize in advance if my action scene seems to be rushed. I'm not the best with writing action.
Part Seven:
Piper and Leo were coming out of the Nederlander Theatre after having watched RENT. Piper held a tissue in one hand and was wiping off a tear on her cheek. "Oh Leo, that was so sad." Piper sniffed. Leo was unsure how to react, usually his wife was less sentimental. Piper choked back her tears. "Although, you do know that when we get home, you're buying me the soundtrack."
"Me?" Leo's jaw dropped. "You're the one with the job. I don't have that kind of money."
"Oh yeah..." Piper tucked her tissue into her purse. "Some husband." Piper's eyes searched the street for the best way to get to the club they were going to. Her eyes soon met with the bright lights and dark paint of the building. The sign on the side of the building read 'The Marquis'. Piper smiled. "Okay, let's go." As she turned back to grab Leo's arm, she bumped into someone.
After the initial shock wore off, Piper saw just who she had bumped into. She was a gorgeous woman with her brown hair tied back into a ponytail. She had a figure any woman would be jealous of, Piper included, and her outfit was put together quite well. "I'm sorry." Piper appologized for her moment of gracelessness.
"Oh, it's alright. Are you going to the Marquis?" The woman asked.
"Yes, we are." Piper said finally grabbing ahold of Leo's arm and tugging him closer.
"Mind if I tag along?" The woman asked. When no one objected, the woman reached out her hand, "I'm Adrienne Beaumont. I'm the owner of the Marquis."
"I'm Piper. Owner of P3." Piper quickly shut her mouth when she realized she had given Adrienne quite a bit of attitude with her last statement. However, instead of rolling her eyes and walking off, Adrienne simply laughed it off. She motionned for Piper and Leo to go ahead, and then once they began walking she followed suit.
"P3, eh? It's a cute little club. I went to it when I was doing business in San Francisco." Adrienne commented.
"Checking out the competition?" Leo asked.
"No actually. I own 'Beaumont Enterprises' and we own several small companies in California and New York. I was there checking up on a studio of ours." Some people would gloat about owning such a large company but Adrienne seemed quite humble. Piper softened up a little. "And now you're going to see my little hole in a wall."
"Actually, my sister recommended it to me." Piper said.
"Wow. Does she live in New York?" Adrienne inquired.
"No. She lives in San Francisco."
"Then how did she hear about the club?" Despite owning such a big enterprise, Adrienne often had bouts of naiveté. She couldn't really wrap her mind around the concept that success was something that she had earned.
"I think she read it on the Internet. Or she might have seen it on Oprah." By the time Piper had finished her sentence, they had reached the Marquis.
Part Eight: Phoebe entered the Halliwell Manor and immediately took notice of Paige sitting on the couch with the phone in her hands. She approached her younger sister, "Paige, is something up?"
Paige looked up at Phoebe. She had a concerned look. "No. That seems to be the problem. Piper hasn't called yet." Phoebe sat down next to Paige and put her arm over Paige's shoulder.
"Oh sweetie, I thought Piper was the one who worried." Phoebe laughed.
"Something's wrong. I know it."
"Not this again." Phoebe rolled her eyes. This upset Paige and she stood up.
"You know what Phoebe, I'm getting so tired of you not trusting me!" Phoebe watched as Paige's eyes lit up with rage. "How many time have I been right about things? Eh? Let's see, there was Cole and... oh yeah... the Avatars!" Phoebe's jaw dropped. Instead of arguing back, Phoebe hung her head in defeat.
"Paige, I..." Phoebe knew Paige was right. "So then what is it?"
Paige took a deep breath and brushed off her shirt. She had to take a moment to come down from her fit of anger. "I've had this horrible feeling all day. At first I thought it might be a charge, but they were all fine. I pushed it aside until I noticed that both Wyatt and Chris were particularly on edge too. Chris couldn't stop crying for a good hour and Wyatt just sat still and didn't move."
"I don't like the sound of this." Phoebe said. "Book of Shadows?"
"We need to go see Piper right away. Something might happen and we need to be there." Paige said and extended her hand to Phoebe.
"But what about the boys? We can't just leave them all alone in the house." Phoebe was more often than not the least impulsive of the sisters and usually thought before she acted. This usually came from the fact that Phoebe didn't have an active power to be impulsive with.
"They're in good hands." A familiar voice said. Phoebe and Paige looked around the room to see no one. However, swirling orbs began to fill the room and they combined together to form a figure. Once the lights disappeared, their Grams stood looking back at her granddaughters. "I'll watch over Wyatt and Chris. You need to be with Piper right now."
"Thanks Grams." Phoebe smiled. "Okay, let's go." Phoebe reached out her hand to Paige's. When Paige began to take her towards the stairs, Phoebe stopped. "Aren't we going to go find Piper?"
"Yes. We need to scry for her first." Paige said.
"She's in New York." Phoebe commented.
"Yeah. I know. Do you have any idea how this power of mine works, Phoebes?" Paige didn't allow Phoebe to respond and she pulled her up the stairs. Grams looked watched as they left and let out a big sigh.
Part Nine: "So what are you doing backstage, Melissa?" Tai inquired. Melissa sat on a stool backstage at the Marquis. The Marquis was a different kind of club. Each night, the Marquis put on special shows for its visitors. They had in-house singers as well as dancers. The kind of performances the visitors often saw ranged from slow ballads to high-energy rock songs. Tai was one of the many dancers who worked there. In fact, he was one of the most popular dancers there.
"Nichelle brought me. Said she wanted to take my mind off work. Except now all I can think about is performing." Melissa sighed as she looked onto the dark stage. Tai made a face and then made his way back to his dressing room. Melissa perked up as she saw a darkened figure sitting across from her. Focusing, Melissa saw that it was a young man sitting at a piano. He was arranging his music.
Nichelle came out of her dressing room and immediately took notice of Melissa gawking at the young pianist. She walked over to her friend, she kneeled down and said, "Honey, you're drooling." This brought Melissa back to reality and her face instantly turned red. "That's Miguel. He's our new piano player. Cute, eh?" Nichelle stood up and found herself looking into a mirror. She turned her head to check out her make-up and then moved towards the stage. "Why don't you go flirt before I have to go out and perform?"
However, all attention was turned towards Elliott who had made his way backstage. Melissa instantly called out his name. He came over to where she was sitting. "Where's Tai?" Elliott asked.
"Right here." Tai said from behind the blond teacher.
"I found something out about your witch." Elliott said.
"There's a witch?" Melissa asked, getting up from the stool.
"Yes." Tai said. He was slightly annoyed now because clearly he wanted to keep this a secret.
"Well, it turns out that she's a Charmed One."
"That holds no significance to me whatsoever. Could you possibly explain why this is so important?" Tai asked.
"The Charmed Ones are legends. They are said to be the most powerful witches in existence. How could you not know about this?" Elliott commented.
"I don't know. I just..." Before Tai could finish his sentence, there was screaming from the other side of the stage. "Uh oh..." Tai said.
Melissa, Tai, Nichelle and Elliott rushed off and opened the curtain to the stage. They saw that the club was now infested with Kappa demons. Their vicious faces growled at the people in the club. Tai quickly observed who was in the club and immediately he took notice of Piper, Leo and Adrienne who were near the doors.
Part Ten: Piper was amazed at the sheer amount of demons in this club. "I've never seen this many demons in one place..." Piper commented.
"Yeah, welcome to New York City." Adrienne said. "Everything here is bigger and badder."
"I'd say..." Piper moved her hands to blow them up. However, Adrienne grabbed her wrists.
"No. Not yet. We have to get everyone out of the club first." Adrienne surveyed the club and she noticed Tai, Melissa, Nichelle and Elliott on the stage. She raise her hands to give them a signal. Upon noticing her signal, they moved about on the stage getting the demons' attention. Adrienne then turned her own attention to Leo. "Can you get the people out of here?" She asked. Leo nodded and made his way quietly to the crowd of people.
Eventually, all the innocent people were out of the club. This meant it was time for a big smack down. Piper rose her hands and blew up a good half a dozen demons. Meanwhile, Melissa created a small earthquake to knock the rest of them down. Nichelle conjured up a katana. She jumped off the stage and went running towards the demons. With a quick motion, at least three demons were now without heads. Nichelle jumped back in order to not get burned by the flames that engulfed the vanquished demons.
When a demon came charging towards Adrienne, she closed her eyes. Suddenly, a pandemonium of voices came into the room. The voices became deafening to the Kappa demon. Eventually, the voices cleared up. The demon stopped in its tracks. It looked towards the rest of the demons. It jumped on them and tore them apart. The flames from the vanquishing was enough to finish off the final demon.
"What was that?" Piper asked.
"I made it think that the other demons were us." Adrienne replied.
"Do you think that's it?" Tai asked.
Before anyone could answer, bright lights came in from the ceiling of the club. They floated down and eventually cleared to reveal Phoebe and Paige. The two sisters scanned the room and saw the familiar scorch marks of vanquished demons and then they saw their sister safe and sound. Phoebe ran over to her sister and wrapped her arms around her. "Oh thank God you're okay." Phoebe said.
"Yeah..." Piper said. She peeled Phoebe off of her and looked at Paige. "Something wrong?"
"Yes. I still have this darn feeling." Paige pouted.
"Whoa." Elliott's voice echoed. "You must be the other two? Wow." Elliott jumped off the stage and went over to Paige. He took her hand in his and began to shake it. "It's such an honor to meet you. I've heard all the stories."
Paige was completely in shock. "I didn't know we had fans."
"Maybe he thinks we're popstars." Piper commented.
"No! You're the Charmed Ones." Elliott said.
Tai went over to Elliott and pulled him away. "I swear, he's not normally like this."
"I think I need a moment to process all of this." Adrienne said. "I too have heard stories of the Charmed Ones. I mean, it's hard not to. The male half of my family are witches, so I've heard all the stories too. But I always thought it was like mythology or something."
"This isn't good." Piper said. "Here we are, the Charmed Ones, in a room full of other superpowered people and we just killed off a horde of Kappa demons. Something is up."
A banging sound suddenly filled the room. It was coming from the front door. During Melissa's little earthquake, some debris had blocked the door, preventing anyone from entering. The banging was obviously someone on the other side trying to get in and this person was persistent.
Tai moved his arm and the debris flew away from the door. Then, the door came crashing down with a cloud of dust. When the dust cleared away, a petite woman wearing a cute little white shirt with a pair of brown cords was standing on the other side. Her raven hair was tied up but her bangs lightly swept the sides of her face. Tai smiled as he realized who she was.
Looking at the stranger, Piper's legs gave out from under her and she fell onto the ground. Her face went red. "Prue...?" Piper's shallow voice trailed off.

I was only able to read the first couple of posts, but there's no doubt that this one actually belongs in the spinoffs forum, since you appear to be using Charmed to spinoff the Femmes Fatale Investigations, the way The WB tried to use Charmed to spin off "Billie the Teenaged Witch" (Thank GOD that failed!)
Your FFI characters are all interesting as are their powers and I like the way you combine them with Charmed. Am looking forward to when I have time to read the last two posts and any that come after that.

Here's the final part to this fanfiction. I hope you all enjoyed it. Please leave some feedback.
Part Eleven: Piper awoke to the sensation of something cold on her head. As she opened her eyes, she saw her husband Leo. He was wiping her forehead with a cold towel. She felt a certain sense of relief as she gazed into his eyes. "Oh thank God, Leo you wouldn't believe the dream I had." Piper said. However, as she began to slowly get up, she realized that her dream was very much a reality. "How long have I been unconscious?" Piper asked Leo.
"A pretty long time. When we realized that you weren't waking up anytime soon, we decided to take you back to Adrienne's apartment." Leo replied.
"And by we, you mean...?" Piper looked around the room to see the most expensive things. Her eyes also rested on Tai and Adrienne who were sitting on the coffee table beside her. When she didn't find her sisters, Piper began to panic. "Where are Phoebe and Paige?"
"They're fine." Leo said. "Phoebe's in the bedroom resting and Paige went to go check on one of her charges."
Piper's gaze went back to Leo. "And Prue?"
"Piper..." Leo was going to try to comfort his wife but she wasn't having any of it.
"Leo, you listen to me! I saw her! I saw Prue! She was there! Don't lie to me and tell me that I'm imagining things!" Piper's anger rose and a vase near her exploded. Piper calmed herself down to appologize for breaking the vase.
"It's okay..." Adrienne said. "It's only a one-of-a-kind vase from China." Adrienne picked herself up and began to pick up the pieces of the now worthless vase. The silence in the room was deafening. No one said a word.
Suddenly, the familiar white lights began to circle around an area of the living room. They dissolved to reveal that it was Paige. "I came back as soon as I took care of Karen." Paige sat down at her older sister's feet. She then turned her attention towards Leo. "How's Phoebe holding up?"
"Not too good. She hasn't said a word since what happened." Leo hung his head.
"Will someone explain all of this to me?" Piper said. When no one answered, Piper had to resist the urge to get angry again. She merely observed her surroundings a little closer. She saw candles, herbs and a very familiar book, the Book of Shadows.
"Me and Tai are going to perform a spell to get some answers." Paige said. "When you passed out, Tai and I did a little research. There's no doubt that Andie looks exactly like Prue."
"Andie?" Piper immediately thought of Prue's ex-boyfriend.
"That's the woman you saw. We all saw. She's Tai's roommate." Paige continued. "Logically, it would be impossible for her to be Prue but we're Halliwells and we certainly know nothing is impossible." Paige did one of her signature faces but when Piper was unamused, she returned to explaining. "We're going to perform a spell to conjure someone who will be able to give us the answers. Although, the spells not too clear on who exactly we're going to be talking to." Paige finished her explaination and turned towards Tai. "You ready?"
"Of course." He said.
As Tai lit the candles, Paige began to recite a spell from the Book of Shadows. She placed several herbs into a pot. It bubbled and clouded. The air in the room thickened and the candles flickered. Eventually, golden orbs began to swirl around the room. A gentle breeze formed to mix the orbs together. Soon enough, the orbs created a person. As the lights of the orbs dulled, a woman walked out of them. She looked at the two witches who had conjured her and smiled.
"Hello Paige." She said.
"Hey mom..." Paige greeted.
Part Twelve: "Patty?" Leo said looking at his mother-in-law. Patty Halliwell was the mother of the Charmed Ones. She had the ability to freeze objects, just like Piper. Of course, that was back when she was alive. When the girls were little, she died. However, she did give birth to a secret child who would eventually become charmed after the death of the eldest Halliwell sister, Prue.
"Yes." Patty replied. "You require answers and I am here to give them."
Sometime during the conjure, Phoebe had made her way to the living room and was now looking at her mother. Both Piper and Phoebe were completely silent. Both were very shaken up. Piper, Phoebe and Paige had positionned themselves onto one of the couches together. Patty stood in front of them and prepared herself for what she was about to reveal.
"Where do I begin?" Patty asked not only herself but her daughters. "Prue. She was your older sister and in some ways, she was like a mother to both of you, Piper and Phoebe. However, when your destiny as a Charmed One was revealed, she became a leader as well. When Prue was killed, five years ago, she was given a gift. The Elders decided to give her the very thing she'd been robbed of, a normal life. They recreated her and gave her a new life. This gift of course came at a price, she wouldn't remember anything from before and she wouldn't retain any of her powers. As a momento, they gave her the name Andie Bennett. Her first name being of her true love and her last name being that of your father." Patty finished.
"Is this why we could never summon her?" Piper asked.
"Yes. Her spirit is still very much alive." Patty replied.
"How come you never told us?" Paige inquired.
"The Elders feared that you three may seek her out and ruin the chance the had given her." When these words came out of Patty's mouth, they stung Piper. She wanted to fight and say that she wouldn't have. But she knew, for once, the Elders were right.
"I still don't understand." Adrienne said. She had been listening intently from behind the couch. "Andie and I grew up together. Was that just a memory fabricated by these Elders?"
"No. Andie was created as a duplicate of Prue and therefore was born at the same time. Just, in a different place." Patty said.
"Is it possible to let them speak with Prue through Andie?" Tai said. When this suggestion was brought up, a light of hope flickered inside of Piper. She wanted to talk with the sister she was so close to.
"That is the other answer I was sent to provide. The Elders are going to grant you an hour with Prue." Patty began to fade. "Just don't get too attached." Soon enough, Patty had faded away back into the air.
Part Thirteen: Piper, Phoebe and Paige stood silent. Across from them was Andie but at the moment she was Prue. No one knew what to say. It was all very confusing. Prue had died five years ago and suddenly the Halliwell sisters find out she'd been reincarnated into someone else. Now they were given a chance to talk to her and talking was something that wasn't happening.
"Well this is awkward..." Paige commented. When she realized she'd said something, she covered her mouth. She didn't want to be the first to talk because she felt it was Piper's job to. However, she loosened up when Prue began laughing.
"So you're my replacement, huh?" Prue said still laughing. "It's good to finally meet you. I hope you've been keeping my sisters in check." Paige nodded and smiled. Prue was being her usual self. She was often envied by a lot of people, heck, while she was a Charmed One she'd been held captive by a female stalker who wanted to be her. "So what's my new sister's name?" Prue asked.
"Paige." Paige replied. The two smiled. "A P name. Pretty convenient, huh?"
"Piper..." Prue said as she walked towards her sister. She held out her arms and wrapped them around Piper. Soon, Piper completely fell apart.
"Prue, I've missed you so much." Piper cried out. "I tried and tried and tried to bring you back." Piper's sobs continued. "I had to be leader. Me! Can you imagine? I'm not as good as you were. God Prue, I've missed you." Eventually Piper's throat completely closed up and she couldn't talk anymore. She just cried. Eventually, her tears stopped and Prue pulled away.
"But you're still alive. That means something." Prue said wiping one of Piper's tears away. "What's happened since I..." Prue trailed off and felt unsure how to finish her sentence.
Piper cleared her throat. "I have kids. Can you believe it? Two kids. Wyatt and Chris." Piper always dreamed of the day she could tell Prue about her kids. She loved them more than anything else. When Piper looked at Prue, she saw her confusion.
"Boys?" Prue said. Piper let out a sigh of relief and nodded. "And they don't have P names. That's new." Prue laughed. "How are you and Leo?"
"Up and down really. We've been through a lot and then some." Piper answered.
"I hope Cole's out of the picture." Prue said turning towards Phoebe. Phoebe had been quiet for what seemed like an eternity. Prue sensed something about Phoebe but couldn't put her finger on it.
"Oh, he was vanquished." Paige said. "Twice."
"Why so quiet?" Prue asked.
"It's my fault." Phoebe said quietly.
"What?" Prue didn't quite understand.
"It's my fault you're dead. I should have been the one to die." Phoebe said. "God, I never should have gone after Cole. I should have stayed with you guys." Phoebe finally broke down. Her sobbing was uncontrollable. Prue, Piper and Paige all surrounded her and comforted her.
"Sweetie. That's in the past now." Prue said. She took a step back to look at her sisters. "You know what this reminds me of?" Prue asked.
"An episode of Oprah?" Paige asked.
"No. Although, you wouldn't know Paige. On Piper's wedding day, our mom came to visit us as a present from the Elders. We were all together that day. Now I'm going to say something she said. I'm so proud." Prue said. "I'm so proud of you all. I may not have been with you but I know that you've all done some good. I can just feel it. You've survived this long and I think that's a testament to that." Prue gave another hug to her sisters. "Although, it's time for Cinderella to leave the ball." Prue said. "I wish I could stay and discuss every detail but this isn't like with Grams or mom. Goodbye." As the sisters came together for a final hug, the room lit up.
When they broke away, they knew Prue was gone. Andie looked at Paige, Piper and Phoebe. All three were teary eyed. "I suppose I should get out of here." Andie said awkwardly and backed out of the room.
Once she was gone. The sisters took a moment to process everything.
"So that was Prue?" Paige asked. "I could take her." She commented and then laughed.
"I almost wish we never knew. As much as I miss her, it's going to hurt so much more now that I know she's still around. Sort of." Piper said.
"I know honey, I know." Phoebe hugged Piper.
Part Fourteen: Tai and Adrienne were outside the bedroom door the 'Prue meeting' took place. When Andie came out, the two jumped. "Andie?" Adrienne said.
"Yes." Andie sighed. "This is so much to process man." Andie rubbed her eyes. "I'm going to go home and get some rest. You know, sleep on what just happened." Andie patted Tai on the shoulder. "I'll see you when you get home." Andie left Adrienne's appartment quickly.
Adrienne and Tai slowly walked over to the living room and sat on the couch. Leo came from the kitchen and stood behind the couch. "So do you have a whitelighter?" He asked Tai.
"A what?" Tai asked.
"A whitelighter. You know, a guardian angel but strictly for witches. They're kind of like guardians." Leo explained.
"No. Should I?" He replied.
"Yes. All witches have one." Leo walked away from the couch. "I'll have to get Paige to talk to the Elders about this." Leo paused. "Maybe Paige could be your whitelighter." He smiled. "You two worked well together."
"I don't need one. Thanks." Tai said. He was about to add something else when the Charmed Ones entered the room.
"Leo, we're going home now." Piper said grabbing her husband.
"It's been a really long day and I think we all need a rest." Paige added.
"What are we going to do now that we know this?" Piper asked.
"We're going to keep going. It's what we always do. We're thrown curveballs all the time and we deal." Phoebe said.
As the Halliwell sisters came together with Leo, the white orbs made one final sweep around the room and they were gone. Adrienne let out a massive sigh. Tai continued to look at the spot they'd been standing in. "How come I didn't get a whitelighter?" Tai asked Adrienne.
"How am I supposed to know?" She asked throwing her hands into the air. "Doesn't matter. Because you have the Femmes Fatales to look after you and you have me. And you have Andie." Adrienne laughed. "You couldn't be in better hands, after all, she used to be one third of the strongest witches out there."
