Where is Piper? Completed: June 6th, 2008

Just to let you know to all those who are reading this. This is my first attempt ever to write a story. So I hope you enjoy!!!

Chapter: 1

One late afternoon, Phoebe came home to find the door wide open. Things were thrown all over the floor from dishes to pillow cases that once were on the couch. She was worried and called out to her sisters, "Piper, Paige! Is anybody home."

All she got was dead silence.

She rushed to the phone and called Darryl, and told him about the break-in and that her sisters were missing. He heard the urgency in her voice. "I'll be right over," as he tried to reassure her. "We will find who did this and we will find your sisters."

Phoebe paced back and forth trying to stay calm, trying not to cry. Finally, she decided to touch items to see if she could get a premonition before Darryl showed up. She started in the living room touching different objects.

She got nothing.

Next, she headed upstairs and headed to the attic. First thing she noticed was the Book Of Shadows on the floor by her feet.

She picked up The Book and returned it back to the stand. She took a look around and that was when she saw Paige knocked out behind a pile of boxes. She ran over to her little sister and lifted her head onto her lap. "Paige? Can you hear me?"

Paige opened her eyes and moaned,"What happened."

"Someone broke in and now Piper is missing," Phoebe told her.

They headed downstairs and waited for Darryl to show up, when Leo orbed in. "Paige, Phoebe. We have a new demon on our hands," he informed them anxiously. "We got to save Piper."

Phoebe asked,"How do you know Piper is missing?"

" The Elders told me," he replied. "That's why they sent me down here to help you."

A few minutes later, Darryl showed up. "Phoebe, you found Paige."

"I found her in the attic knocked out."

Darryl smiled,"I'm glad you found one of your sisters."

"Me, too. Me, too."

Leo came to the door and interrupted them by saying,"Let's find Piper."

Phoebe and Paige headed back upstairs to do just that. Darryl called out to them,"I'll just be down here taking fingerprints and you let me know if anything is missing."

"We will," Paige yelled back.

In the attic, they were looking in The Book of Shadows when Cole shimmered in.

"What are you doing here, Cole?", Phoebe angrily demanded.

"I came here to help you," he told her. "I heard rumors a demon caught one of The Charmed Ones."

Chapter 2: Who is the demon!!!


Phoebe looked at Cole in shock. "Are you kidding me? Piper is in the underworld with a demon? We have to get her out of there!"

Cole nodded. "I came up here to see if it was true, and I can see that it is. I'll go back down and see if I can find the demon who took her."

Phobe nodded."Okay, but I'm coming with you."

"Phoebe, it's too dangerous!" Paige protested. "Maybe that is the demon's plan. Trap us all by attempting to save Piper. You should let Cole find out who the demon is and where she is."

Phoebe shook her head."I can't sit around wondering if Piper and Cole are okay. I might be upset with him, but I have to go. I'll make some potions before I go,"and she went over and hugged Paige before heading to the kitchen to make potions.

Paige glared at the half-demon she could never quite trust "Take care of my sister."

Cole nodded, promising solemnly, "I'll give my own life before anyone does her any harm."

"Good."

Once Phoebe was done making the potions, Cole shimmered to the Underworld with her.

Meanwhile, Paige was pacing back and forth, wondering what to do. After a few minutes, she had an idea. Maybe I could use the "Finding a lost witch" spell. Maybe if I change the words just a bit, I could summon Piper back to the manor.

Running over to The Book of Shadows, Paige was surprised when the pages began flipping on their own, landing on the spell she wanted. She smiled up and thanked whichever one of their family also wanted to find Piper.

Then she stood in front of The Book started chanting the spell. No sooner did she chant the last word than smoke began swirling and what looked like a tornado appeared in the middle of the room.

When the smoke dissolved, there laid Piper, curled on the floor.

"Oh my gosh, it worked!" Paige exclaimed happily. 'Leo, Leo. Get down here!"

No sooner did he orb in that Leo anxiously asked, "What is it, Paige? Is everything okay?"

Paige pointed down to Piper"I got her back, Leo. I got her back,"as relief flooded her mind and body.

This is really very good, Melissa! I like it a lot. I never would've guessed that it's your first try! You've done a great job with writing the characters so they sound like the ones on the show, and the plot got me interested right away. I can't wait to see if Piper will be OK and who the demon will be.

My main suggestion would be to choose only one tense, past or present, and just write in that one. I'd suggest past even though you've written most of it in present, but it's easier to write in past, so especially for your first fic you'll probably want to do it that way.

Also, don't only write a name and what they say unless you're going to write the whole thing in script form. I hope you don't do that, because you do such a great job writing in prose.

Once you do those things, you'll have a very good fic started here! Please update soon!

I will second that! You've got a most excellent start here -- not at all bad for your first attempt. And take it from this first-timer, it is much, much easier to write in past tense instead of present tense.

So please keep it coming, as I'd like to read some more.

Thanks you guys for replying. I mostly put there names down first so they know who is talking. But, I can write it differently so it wouldn't be like that. I was planning on ending it cause it's been on here for awhile. But, I'll finish it. ;D Right now though, I'm very sick. I have a bad cold. I'll add another chapter once I feel better.

Also, I LOVE to read a lot. I've read maybe over 300 books in my 23yrs of life. So maybe thats why it doesn't seem like my first time.

Yay! Very glad to hear that! As I suggested, if you change it to past tense rather than present and do it all as prose rather than half-script, it should be a fantastic tale!

Right now though, I'm very sick. I have a bad cold. I'll add another chapter once I feel better.

That's gotta be the reason. Funny how us readers tend to be the best writers. Probably because we've learned something about characterizations and drama and plot from reading all of those stories--we know what we like, so we do the same things with our own fics!

Chapter 3: Piper Is Home!


Leo looked to where Paige was pointing and seeing Piper lying on the floor, he rushed over to her and gathered her into his arms He carried her to the bedroom and laid her down on the bed.

"Anything I can do to help?"Paige, who had followed him,
asked.

"Yes, could you get me a wet wash cloth and some water?"

Paige nodded eagerly and ran off to get the items. When she came back with them, Piper still had her eyes closed. "Leo, is she gonna be okay?"

"I think so. She is a little bruised, but she'll be okay."

"Well, that's very good to hear." and Paige went over and sat down on the bed with teary eyes. She was so happy to be looking down at Piper. She was so afraid she had lost a sister and didn't want that. Especially not so soon after finding them.

Paige brushed a strand of hair off Piper's angelic face and put it behind her ears. "Piper, you're home. You're safe now. I'm not gonna let you get taken away from me or Phoebe again." Then she looked up saw Leo staring at her. "Huh?"

"Paige, she needed to hear that you are here for her. Thanks for bringing my wife back." He looked back down at Piper and dabbed the wash cloth on her face and neck. He noticed how warm she was and knew she must have a high temperture. He gently brushed his lips on top of Piper's forehead and both her eyebrows then her lips. His heart was beating so loud, he wouldn't be shocked if Paige could hear it.

Piper remained unconscious, so he just continued to dab Piper with the wash cloth, ignoring the feeling that was tugging on his heart; the need to let Piper know how he truly felt about her, letting her know he was there and how very much he truly loved her. He especially wanted to see her beautful eyes again.

Paige noticed that look of love that sparkled in Leo's eyes every time he looked at Piper. She smiled and wished one day she could find a love as special as Leo's & Piper's.

Giving Leo a smile of her own, she decided to leave them alone
and headed back up to the attic. She went over to The Book Of Shadows and was flipping through the pages when Cole and Phoebe shimmered in.

"Oh good, Paige, I'm glad you're here. I have some news to share with you..."

"Speaking of good news, Phoebe, I have some of my own."

"Okay. You can tell me in a moment."

"Fine. You can go first," Paige said with a smile, knowing how impatient Phoebe could get.

"While Cole and I were in the Underworld, as you know, we were looking for Piper. We killed a demon there and a demon here. Anyway, Paige, we found out where Piper was. Cole got the information out of one of the demons he ended up killing. We went and took a look, but magic stopped us from bringing her back. Sad thing is, we still don't know who the demon is that took her."

"You don't need to worry about Piper. She is lying down on her bed with Leo."

"How can she be in her room?" Cole demanded. "We just left her before we came up here to ask for your help." Then he looked a bit suspicious. "How long has Piper been here?"

Paige thought for a moment, "About 20 minutes."

Cole looked worried and without another word, he walked out of the room. The girls followed him back to Leo and Piper's room. To their shock, the room is empty. Neither Leo nor the person who
Paige thought was Piper was in there.

Phoebe and Paige look at each other and cried out in unison,"What are we gonna do now?"

Chapter: 4

As if they had the same thought, they both looked at Cole with pleading eyes, eyes that seem to be asking for his help.

"What do you two want me to do?" Cole asked, although he already knew.

"Um, Cole, I want you to go to the Underworld and look for Piper again. This time, find the demon who took my sister. Don't you dare come back until you do."

"Is that a very good idea?" Cole tried his best to explain it to her. "They all know I'm on the good side now. I could be killed."

Phoebe was getting angry. "Cole Turner, you get your a$$ out of here and go look for my sister. You were down there with me a little bit ago. Don't make excuses not to look for her."

He glared. "I'm not making any da*n excuses." He stopped to take a deep breath. "Okay, Since I love you so much, I'll go look for her." and before Phoebe could say a word, he shimmered out of the room.

Phoebe then looked at Paige. "I can't believe he wasn't going to look for our sister."

Paige shrugged. "After all, Phoebe, he is a demon."

Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Please, don't remind me of that."

"Sorry," Paige muttered, although she didn't sound like she meant it. "I'm gonna go make a potion in case we need it. So we can be ready if anything happens."

Phoebe nodded then headed back up to the attic to see if she could scry for Piper. After what felt like hours, the crystal finally fell onto a location. She stared at it in shocked surprise, then ran down to the kitchen, screaming, "Piper's above ground! She's no longer in the Underworld!"

"How do you know that?"

Phoebe showed her the crystal she was still holding. "We've got a location! Let's go!"

Paige nodded as she hurried to put the potion in a vial before orbing Phoebe and herself to an abandoned warehouse. They looked around, but it was empty.

"Where is Piper?" Phoebe wondered to herself. "Or the demon? I don't like what I see. And where is Leo?"

"Phoebe!" Paige screamed. "Watch out! Behind you!"

Phoebe spun around to see a demon with a fireball in his hand. He threw it towards her, so she jumped out of the way.

But by jumping out of the way, the fireball was now headed straight towards Paige! "Fireball!" she called and when the fireball orbed in next to her, Paige ricocheted it back towards the demon. It hit in right smack in the middle of his chest and he blew up.

Paige ran over to her sister and helped her off the ground. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just a scrape on the knee. But I'm worried. Where are Piper and Leo?"

Paige nodded. "I'm worried too. Let's take a look around." But as she began to turn away, Paige noticed the potion vial still in her hand. She handed it towards her sister. "Here, take this potion to protect yourself."

Phoebe looked at the potion in her hand, her own hands at her side. "What about you, Paige?"

Paige shrugged. "Something come at me, I'll panic-orb, you know that. I can protect myself. I don't want anything to happen to you."

Phoebe smiled gratefully and then accepted the potion vial, putting it in her pocket.

Suddenly they head a noise. It almost sounded like somebody crying. And they both recognized that crying.

"Piper!"

They ran towards the back room of the warehouse and the crying grew louder. They snuck over to the door and the crying sounded as if it were coming from right inside the door.

The two sisters looked at each other and Phoebe nodded at Paige, who took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. Looking around, they could see that this room was empty, too, but they could still hear Piper crying.

Phoebe looked on one side on the room while Paige looked on the other side. After a few minutes of looking, Paige found what was making that noise.

It was a tape recorder.

The door slammed shut behind them and they heard an evil laugh, "Bwah Hah Hah Ha," echoing threw the door.

"Oh, no," muttered Phoebe.

Paige nodded. "It's a trap."

I didnt expect the twist with there being two Pipers and I want to know who the demon is who trapped Paige and Phoebe!
