A/N This is just a fictional story where I'm having fun. There are so many stories where Chris comes to the rescue, that I had to do it a slightly different way.
Jenny was a Charmed fan, a *big* Charmed fan. She loved the whole Piper/Leo story, which is probably why she didn’t like the character of Chris that much. But she understood why others did and put up with her e-buddies who’d go on and on about him, especially her favorite IM buddy, Liz.
Awhile earlier, she’d discovered a new Charmed site called Charmed Again. It was a lot of fun with a lot of interesting people who loved Charmed as much as she did. She especially liked the Fan Fic Forum. There were some writers who were *so* very good; they actually got her to like Chris! She thought Liz's stories about Chris were the best, which is part of the reason why they had become IMpals.
It was now the summer between S6 & S7 and all the Chris-fans were upset that the show had killed him off. So Chris starred in more and more of the fanfics, showing how he could come back again.
Ever since Jenny started visiting Charmed Again, no one was in charge of the Fan Fic Forum and that seemed to work out very well. Then one day it was announced that a person named Audrey was going to take over as mod. Jenny knew Audrey very well. She’d IM’d with her a lot and even helped her with her own story. But she also knew that Audrey loved to be in charge and wanted to be the most popular person on the board. Jenny also knew that Audrey hated Chris as much as she did, but liked to pretend that she didn’t, so others would like her stories, too, even though she did a crappy job with Chris’ characters in the rough drafts she’d send to Jenny, which Jenny would have to change, so the Chris-fans would like it. Jenny was very much afraid of what Audrey might do now that she was in charge of the Forum.
As she thought about this, she was sitting at her computer, IMing with Liz while she was reading the updates in the Fan Fic Forum, when suddenly, right before her very eyes, all the name of the author of all of the best stories began to change to "Audrey"! Then all of the authors of Jenny’s own replies, the ones all the authors said they liked best, started turning into "Audrey"!! And her least-favorite of Audrey's story was now written by "Liz"!
Jenny was literally screaming bloody murder and so was Liz in her IMs, writing stuff in capital letters. This was truly a nightmare!! Jenny wrote to the gal who was in charge of Charmed Again, but she immediately wrote back and said there was nothing she could do about it!!
Just then Jenny started crying, when who should appear standing next to her, no, not Lisa, no, not her other IM friends, no, not her brother Michael, who always fixed her computer problems, no, not even Leo Wyatt/Brian Krause, but CHRIS HALLIWELL holding Excalibur!! But Jenny thought Excalibur was Wyatt's, not Chris'! What was he doing with it?
Before she could say a word, Chris waved Excalibur like a magic wand and suddenly all the stories and replies went right back to their original version. He said, "I liked those stories just as they were, and I liked their authors getting proper credit! I can imagine what *she* would do to them! She's not Drew's fan *or* mine!"
Then he waved Excalibur again and all traces of Audrey vanished. Instead it was back to showing no one as the mod for Fan Fic. But all of Audrey’s stories and comments were gone!
When Jenny asked where he sent her, he smiled and said, "Timbuktu!" then admitted that he was kidding. Instead he said he'd gone back in time to when Audrey first started watching Charmed, said a spell and made sure she watched a different show and fell in love with *that* show's star and joined *that* show's website instead. He grinned and said that might not have been nice, but at least she wasn't screwing up *his* favorite site, and with that he was gone.
Jenny sat there, unable to believe what had happened, wondering if she had been dreaming. She had to have been dreaming, right? And if not, how could she come up with the proper words to tell Liz what had just happened?
Just then a message appeared from Liz: "How did all of those fanfics change back so quickly? And where did Audrey's story go?" Before Jenny could begin to type and explain, another message appeared from Liz: "And now there's a new post. You'll never believe what it says!"
Jenny quickly checked out the Fan Fic Forum. There was indeed a new post in bright gold letters that read, "To all the visitors to Charmed Again". The author was "Guess who!" When Jenny opened the message, she was shocked to read, "Thanks for keeping me alive with your fanfics!" And it was signed "Christopher Victor Halliwell"!
