Chapter One



Keep your lips seal. The forest is an unhappy place. Yes...there is a story so terrifying, it scared the Halliwell sisters. How scary, you ask?...

Piper nearly blew up her mortal husband when he tapped her shoulder while making coffee on Thursday morning...

As for Phoebe...she levitated a table to stop the door from opening everytime...

...knock...knock...

...when someone is at the door.

Paige frequently orbed...everytime...her boyfriend breathed on her neck and...

...wwwwhhheuuuuu...

...the night air whistles through the open window...

Of course, this is the 21st century! I mean, it is the future! There are no monsters or demons...oh wait. This is Charmed! What am I saying? Anything can happen in the world of magic or could it...?


Wyatt Halliwell... A young man of 28 with a great potential and promise, he graduated the University of San Francisco and earned his well-deserved M.D. He is a surgeon and one of the best. His family was so proud of him! A doctor-- NO! A surgeon! He works in Stanford Hospital, the best clinic of all the states

Kind and passive, he never yelled or shouted or lost his temper...unless evil attacked his family. Is his passiveness a little disturbing to his collegues?

"Doctor Halliwell! The paitient's heart stopped!" the nurse quickly and panickingly reported him. She gave him the full diagnosis and the she asked him, "What do you want to do?"

Calmly and rationally in a Code Blue, he said in a clear, rational tone that worried the nurse, "Prep him up for surgeory."

Chris Halliwell...I don't know about him but, if Wyatt took the height, the looks and the powers...poor Chris was given the leftovers.

Now, don't make the assumption that he is short, not good-looking, and weak. He is tall, handsome, and moderate. He just sucked at being a whitelighter and a witch. Oh, and he sucked in college too.

His major: Clinical Pharmacy. Oh, he's passing through the courses with flying colors and even scored higher on the MCAT than Wyatt! He just hated the internship. It bored him out. There was nothing to do but...

1 milligram....2 milligram...3 milligram...oh no wait! Start over over again! 1 milligram...2 milligram...3 milligram...

"Mr. Halliwell! Stop screwing up!" His instructor yelled so loud that Chris near lost control of his measuring sthingy and spilled it all over. "The stuff's expensive! One more restart, I'll kick your ass outta here!! GOT IT, HALLIWELL?!"

"Yes, sir," said Chris shakingly.

Now, he normally would give an earful but...Dr. Burke is a big man...And I mean big as in Bigfoot huge. No...Cyclops! He dare not pick on the giant!

Wyatt and Chris are very close brothers.

Every summer, they planned a trip in the wild out doors. Coincidentally, they planned to camp out far away to the north near Canada...in a forest named...Shin Woods...Piper dropped her laundry, instinctively froze time and stared act them with fear in her eyes. She asked them where to make sure she wasn't hearing things.

"Shin Woods," Chris replied.

Piper croaked, "Th...tha...That place?"

Just then, Leo walked down the stairs and greeted his wife and his sons.

"Leo? Do you know where our sons are going?" she asked through a fake smile.

"Yeah, Shin Woods," Leo replied.

"WHAT?!" Piper shrieked. Two vases and a lamp exploded when her temper peaked.

Just then, Paige and Phoebe orbed in. Their half sister, Paige, asked them, "What's new?"

"Oh, nothing," said Piper. She opened her mouth...

"We're going to camp in Shin Woods," Wyatt replied.

Paige and Phoebe froze at those words. Although time resumed outside the manor, tick-tock was soundless in the room. The aunts and their mother were in shock. No... beyond shocked.

"Oh, come on!" Leo teased. "You're gonna believe in that ghost story?"

The men laughed at the Halliwell sisters. They didn't like it. What they saw...NO! Met! What they met was something beyond their imaginations! Even the demon peed in his loins.

"You boys, which means you too, Leo, are not going to on this trip!" Piper scolded them.

"Oh, come on!" groaned Chris. "We're men. We don't get scared so easily."

"We never raised you a sexist, Christopher Perry Halliwell!" Paige was insulted.

The men only scoffed

"Boys, seriously," It was Phoebe. "Don't go! Don't go! Don't go! Shin Woods is a very ba-a-a-a-a-d place! Did I just bleated? Please, I beg you three--"

"Oh, and uh, Kyle's going to be joining us," Leo added.

"You what?!" Paige exclaimed. "Did you just invited my boyfriend on your senseless trip without consulting me?"

"He's practically family," said Leo. "I mean, he's really helpful with Junior. Besides, I think you girls can have the manor to yourselves and have--"

"You're taking our thrid son camping also?" Piper was not thrilled at all.

"Yeah," said Leo.

"If you're not dead right now--" Piper raised her hands in the air, but Phoebe quickly stopped her older sister. Like a Debra-a-la-mode, "There is not a chance in hell I'm letting my son camp in Shin Woods! If I have to freeze you every hour, in the name of Wicca, I will!"

Just then, Kyle orbed down from Magic School with a young ten year old boy holding his hand.

"Junior!" Piper exclaimed and hugged her little son. "How's my little man?"

"He has a high fever," Kyle informed her. "I don't think he's going to make the trip."

"Oh, really?" Piper smiled happily.

"Mommy, I'm tired," Junior told Piper. "Can I go to sleep?"

"Yes, Junior," said Piper. She turned to Kyle for assistance, but he was already one step ahead of her.

"Got it, Piper," said Kyle. "Oh, Leo? Sorry to disappoint you but I guess I can't make it. I have charges ringing off the hook. Maybe next time."

"All right," Leo shrugged disappointingly. "Well, sons, just the three of us again."

Kyle and Junior orbed into his room, leaving the sisters alone. Seeing a private moment, Paige and Phoebe decided to take a shower. The last one is a rotten egg, as always. Chris and Wyatt noticed it also. They orbed upstairs and continued to pack.

"Leo, please don't do this," Piper begged him.

"It's going to be fine," Leo assured her. "Don't worry to much."

"I don't want to lose you again," Piper cried. She leaned close to her husband and whispered, "We almost lost Chris...Wyatt turned evil twice...you disappeared for that stupid test...I just don't know what I'm going to do! You're mortal now. You're a human now."

"Piper, don't worry," said Leo. "Wyatt and Chris got my back. Nothing's going to happen. I promise I'll be back."

"Promise?" Piper was still afraid of losing her love. But with a kiss of Sealing Promise, that fear was buried deep in her heart where light can't reach it. But as soon as her husband and her two sons hopped on the Jeep and drove away, that fear blossomed before than it grew.

Chapter Two

"So, are we there yet?" asked Chris.

Wyatt, sitting in the front, threw his thick sweater at Chris. The brothers quarreled, but Leo quickly put a stop to it.

"Hey, don't make me turn this car around," Leo warned.

They already arrived in Washington state on the third day. Only, they are lost. Did Leo passed the exit two exits ago? He tried to find someone to ask for direction. Along the highway, they crossed by a man in a dark cloak with a large brim hat. His face was covered by long black hair. Leo slowed down the Jeep and rolled down his window. He asked the mysterious stranger who stopped and looked at them with menacing eyes.

"Excuse me, do you know where Shin Forest is?" asked Leo.

The stranger said nothing. He tipped his hat and the afternoon sun reflected his old, pale skin or deteriorating tan. His menacing eyes were dilated and his teeth were stain with rotting gold.

"One last exit," he pointed ahead. "You shall not miss it."

Leo was slightly disturbed by the man's appearance. As he drove away and looked at the rearview mirror, the man disappeared. It was as though he never existed. That was just too strange.


The men already set up their giant tent. They hung their food up high in the branches. Their campfire burns faithfully. Crickets chirp in the moonlight night. Stars wheeled over head. Comets flew across the clear skies. What more do the men want? They delved into their sleeping bags after telling ghost stories around the campfire. They, all tired from staying up and hiking, fell into a deep sleep…<br>
…writhle…writhle…whrithle…<br>
A rustle!...

…whis…shea……

Whispers…in the dark…in the shadows…beyond the trees…whispers…whispers …of death…<br>
The fire suddenly flicked out like a weak candle light as a blast of icy winds rolled through the forest. Everything outside the tent froze. Flakes of snow rained violently, swirling the innocent Shin Woods. Animals suddenly fell dead. Squirrels, deer, winter birds…their breath ceased and air escaped. Their blood froze immediately.

Snow covered the ground like over grown mosses.

…critch…critch…went the snow…Soft steps approached the tent. The sleepers…were unawared…<br>
It unzipped and coldness entered the tent. Bent…death…breathed its merciless breathe. The coldness opened his mouth. He didn’t react… He breathed…<br>…whish…away doth his warmth deceased into the cold death and away…his life doth leave…<br>
Wyatt stirred uneasily. Coldness overtook him. His blood yelled and alerted him: “Danger! Fight back!”<br>His eyes opened and he turned almost too late! He laid his vision upon death. White Death. White as the snow…falling outside?

“What are you?” Wyatt stuttered. The creature that stood in the background of snow had black eyes. All black, pupils enlarged. He faced the White Death…<br>The creature, White Death, made no movement. No sound. No reply. The White Death stood their motionless. No smile. No blinks. He stared into the eyes of the black haired White Death…<br>
