A Daughter's Revenge. COMPLETED! (03/21/05)

Prologue:


My training is almost over. I have learned all of the tricks, all of the special moves. I guess I should tell you who I am. I am a demon. I have been one for almost 7 years. I am not 7 years old, if that’s what you’re wondering. I’m actually 17. This is my story.

I was born on July 30, 1987, in San Francisco. I did not know my mother, for she abandoned me when I was just born. I don’t really care about anyone from my mother’s side, because they don’t care about me. After I was born, I was put through so many foster homes I lost count! When I was 10, I noticed that I was able to do things that others weren’t able to. I was scared. Then that’s when it happened. I met my father. He told me of my heritage, of who mother was, of who I am. He gave me a choice, to be with my mother, or to live with him. He told me where my mother lived. I wanted to meet her, but when I went to her house, she acted like she didn’t know me and when she saw my father, she hit him! I decided then and there that I wanted to live with my father. My father was a demon. He was the only person who understood me. The only one who loved me. I decided to become like him, evil. He started to teach me everything. I developed my powers, and grew stronger everyday. Yes, I had anger inside against my mother, but I let it go, because all I needed was my father. Four years after my transition, I learned that my mother had died. I expressed no emotion, although I did feel a little regret for not knowing her better. The next year, was the year that I’ll never forget. My father and I were training (attacking witches) when suddenly THEY showed up! The Charmed Ones. They started to attack us. I wanted to help my father, but the eldest froze me. When I unfroze, my father was lying on the floor, bleeding. They said some sort of spell and….. and…… He BURST INTO FLAMES!!! I watched as my father died. I looked and saw them staring at me, like I was dirty! I glared back at them! I swore then and there that my father’s death would be avenged! That’s when I shimmered back home. Ever since then, I was training. Several demon friends have helped me. It has been almost 2 years since his death, and I’m getting ready for my revenge. It doesn’t matter who they are. Or how important they are supposed to be to me!

Curious? I’ll explain it to you. The people of my mother’s heritage……… are The Charmed Ones! Piper, Phoebe and Paige, are my aunts. That means that my mother, the one who abandoned me, pretended like I didn’t exist and left a deep scar in my heart, was the late Prue Halliwell! I don’t know the whole story about her or her sisters, and frankly, I don’t give a rat’s a$$! All I know is that, my aunts killed the only person who really cared about me, and now they need to pay!!!

If you’re wondering what my name is, I’ll tell you. My name is Penelope Kristina Framptin. I refuse to call myself Halliwell. Now, on to the revenge!

Chapter 1


After my father died, I spent almost a month grieving for him. I didn’t want to go on. I hated them! Them and their ways! Like I said, they don’t know who I really am, and they probably don’t care. My whole world had come crashing down (or so it seemed). Then I met the person that would keep me strong. Benji, a fellow demon. He has helped me train. I told my whole story and he found it strange that a Charmed Child such as myself would freeze at the hands of Piper Halliwell. I told him that I was brought up as a demon and therefore had no good Charmedness in me. He told me that even though I was evil, I still had the Halliwell blood in me. That got me mad! I told him that I didn’t want to be associated with them! He said that me having Halliwell blood could come in handy when getting my revenge. I asked him how. He told that the first thing to do was to drink a potion that would set the Charmed blood in me free. I would get all of my Charmed powers and I wouldn’t be affected by the Sisters’s magic. After drinking the potion, I felt weird, different, stronger, and angrier. Benji looked deep into my eyes and said that this may not have worked and that you could still be easy work for the Sisters to kill me, just like my father. I glared at him! How dare he!!! I stared hard into his eyes and in a matter of seconds, he flew across the cave and hit a wall! I was surprised and felt a little bad. He got up and said that now, my training had begun. For two years it has been just me and Benji, and a few other demons who want revenge. My total powers are, telekinesis (Charmed), empathy (Charmed), molecular combustion (Charmed), shimmering (demonic), energy balls (demonic), and fire balls (demonic). I have also been taught some Martial Arts, seeing as though Phoebe knows some of the techniques. After I became partially Charmed, I started to spy on them, to know what was going on. Piper had a child, so I have a cousin. Phoebe went from guy to guy, breaking hearts, but what else is new? Paige, don’t get me started on her. Crappy jobs, wanting to be Miss. Superwitch. Piper and the sad guy she calls her husband, Leo, I think. Anyway, he became an Elder and totally ditched his family *snicker snicker*. Anyway, sooner or later, some cute guy comes from the future determined to save Piper’s son, whose name is Wyatt. (Oh brother. They named him after his father). The thing about this guy was that he would come down here a lot to get answers. I actually got to talk to him a few times. His name was Chris. He told me about his life. He seemed to trust me. Like he knew me from the future. I loved our talks. When I found out that he was helping the Charmed Ones, and that he was Piper’s second son, I wanted to kill him! But I couldn’t. Chris understood my pain. I felt bad for all the pain that he had to go through as a child, and he felt the same for me. He knew that Prue was my mother and that I’m his older cousin. Benji, however, wasn’t too fond of Chris. As a matter of fact, he hated him! He felt that if I spent too much time with him, it would cause me to forget about my revenge. Chris never found out about my revenge against his mother and aunts. About a month ago, the world totally changed! Everything was topsy turvy! On earth, bad deeds were getting severely punished, and down here, good deeds were getting punished! Benji shot an energy ball at me because I told him that I loved him! Too weird! The sad thing about it was that, I found out that Chris had died and disappeared. I never got to say good bye! It hurt! So how was everything put back to normal? Leo came down here and KILLED AN ELDER!!!!!!! That’s right! I heard it straight from Barbus, who has become a friend. He has survived the Sisters not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!!! Piper gave birth to Chris, so technically, he’s still here, just as a baby. Hmmmmm….. I wonder what’s going on up there on Earth as I speak………………

Chapter 2


On Earth, two women walked up some steps leading to their home. They were Paige and Phoebe. Phoebe was carrying Wyatt. They were followed by Piper holding baby Chris in her arms.
“Hey little fella, here’s your home.” Piper started to walk around with the baby. Penelope shimmered in behind some plants.
“He’s so tiny!” said Phoebe. She brought Wyatt close to the baby, and he stuck his tongue at him.
“Wyatt! Be nice to Chris!” said Piper. She went upstairs to put Chris to bed. Paige came into the room.
“Well, everything is in order, what happened?”
“This little boy doesn’t seem to like little Chris.”
“Aww…. Now why is that?” Paige took Wyatt from Phoebe.
“Oh, it’s always like that, sibling rivalry, you know Prue and I used to fight all the time.” At the sound of her mother’s name, Penelope was filled with anger and pain, Phoebe sensed that. She stared at Paige.
“Are you angry?”
“No, why?”
“I just suddenly felt a lot of anger and pain.”
“Really? From where?”
“I think it was coming………” Phoebe looked at the plant, where Penelope was hiding. She turned to Paige and whispered “From behind the plant.” Paige and Phoebe started to walk up to the plant, when Piper called to them.
“Hey you guys, can you get me some diapers?”
“Sure Piper!” And Paige left to get Piper diapers. Phoebe stared at the plant. Penelope stared right back at her. She shimmered out, just as Phoebe looked behind it.
“Strange….”

Penelope shimmered back to Benji.
“Why are you back so soon? What happened?”
“Damn that Phoebe with her empathy! She almost found me! All I know is that they are now home with the baby.”
“You need to go back, find out more about them……..get the Book!”
“You mean The Book Of Shadows?”
“Exactly, you are part-Charmed, you can get the Book easily.”
“You’re right, I should get it. Then I can finally find out the truth. Why she left me.”
“WHAT!!! TRUTH!! NOO!! Get the Book to lure them here, to kill them……..” Penelope thought for a second.
“Don’t tell me that you are having second thoughts!? When we’re so close.”
“No, I’m not, don’t worry.”
“Well, sometimes I have to, after what you’ve gone through, the last thing you want is to associate with any of them. I’m afraid that you’ll get drawn to their way of life and leave forever.” Benji sat down. Penelope got down next to him and held his hand.
“Benji….. I’ll never leave. I love you.” Benji looked at her, they embraced and kissed.
“I love you too, that’s why you worry me too much.” Penelope smiled.
“Don’t worry about me, I’m tougher than you think. I just want to know the truth before I kill anyone. Ok?”
“It’s your choice, if you want to find out about your past, you do it. Just let me ask you something, what gave you this idea?”
“It was Chris.”
“What!! Chris? I knew he was going to say something to give you other thoughts!”
“Benji….. All he told me was that, his past sucked BIG TIME and that I had it easy! I told him that I didn’t know about my past. He did, but he never told me, because he died soon after, I just want to find out for myself, and for Chris.”
“If he wasn’t your cousin from the future, I would have killed him on the spot! I never trusted him. I just don’t understand why you ever trusted him after finding out that he helped the Sisters!”
“He understood my pain, well a little, like I said, his past was worse than mine.”
“Whatever, Penelope…..”
“Don’t call me that!! I’m Kristina!”
“Sorry, look, just get the Book.”
“Whatever!” and she shimmered out.

Penelope shimmered behind a curtain in the Attic. She saw Phoebe looking through the Book. Penelope was annoyed and decided to deal with Phoebe right away. She came in front and was about to throw Phoebe telekinetically, but Paige came in, saw her and yelled.
“Phoebe, look out!!!” Phoebe turned around to see Penelope. She looked at her eyes. Penelope threw Phoebe across the room. Paige ran into the room.
“Vase!” Paige threw a vase at Penelope. She blew it up. Paige stared at her.
“How did you do that?”
“Easy, same way as I do this!” And she sent Paige flying across the room to land next to Phoebe. Penelope ran to the Book and picked it up. Phoebe got up.
“Oh no you don’t! Wait! How are you holding the Book?” Penelope just shimmered out.
“Damn it!” Paige got up.
“Oh no! She got away?”
“That’s not all.” Phoebe pointed to the empty stand.
“What she got the Book? How?”
“I don’t know. But there was something about her…. Something familiar.”
“Wait! Wasn’t she a demon that we almost vanquished?”
“I think she was, but that wasn’t it.”
“Well, what seemed familiar to you?”
“Her eyes. I saw her eyes before she threw me, and they looked so familiar. And I felt pain and anger when she looked at me.”
“Do you think it was her that you felt before?”
“I’m pretty sure it was.”
“Now that I think about it, she had Piper’s power.”
“What, freezing?”
“No, she could blow stuff up!”
“We should tell Piper.”
“No, she doesn’t need this, with the baby in the house.”
“You’re right, but we need to get the Book back.”
“It’s probably a trap, it always is.”
“You’re right. But this girl still confuses me. How did she get the Book? It keeps evil away!”
“It is weird. Maybe she isn’t totally evil.”
“What do you mean? She’s a demon. Demon’s are evil!”
“But what if one of her parents is good? What if she’s like a half witch or a half Whitelighter?”
“She’s probably half witch, she didn’t orb, she shimmered.”
“Ok, so, let come up with a plan to get the Book back.”

Penelope shimmered back to the cave, but Benji wasn’t there. Penelope didn’t care, she was still mad at him. She opened up the Book and looked through the pages. She came up to the spell to call on spirits who have passed on. This was the spell she could use to contact her mother. She shimmered to a different cave so that Benji couldn’t find her. She wanted to do this by herself.

Chapter 3


Penelope placed the 5 white candles in a pentagonal shape on the floor. She opened the Book again and said the spell.

“Hear these words.
Hear my cry.
Spirit from the other side.
Cross now come to me. (Not sure if that’s the actual spell)
Cross now the great divide!”

In a flash of white lights, a woman stood in the center. She had long black hair and blue eyes like Penelope. It was Prue Halliwell.
“Oh my God. What’s going on? Are you……”
“Your daughter? Yeah Mom! How is it up there?”
“Oh My God! You’re so beautiful…..”
“Cut the crap Mom! You don’t care about me! You never did!”
“That’s not true. Honey, I love you.”
“Shut it Mom…. I mean Prue! To call you Mom, you would have to actually ACT like a Mother!” Penelope’s eyes started to tear. She looked away. She couldn’t let this woman see her cry. But she did. Prue also started to cry.
“I’m sorry…. I’m so sorry…..”
“No you’re not….. You don’t know what I’ve been through…. How much pain is in my soul!”
“I had no other choice…… I had to…”
“Prue, there is ALWAYS a choice! You could have kept me, kept me to be raised with my family, instead of abandoning me! I was passed around foster homes like currency! I was all by myself when I got my powers. Thank God, I met my father when I did. And we were really close….. Until YOUR sisters vanquished him like he was nothing! Oh yeah, and did I mention that we came to visit you, but you acted like we were nothing by ignoring me and hitting my father! Yeah, Prue, my life was amazing!!” Tears were coming down her face. Prue stepped out of the pentagon to become real. She went up to Penelope and hugged her. Penelope pushed away.
“No….. I want to know the truth…… Why did you abandon me?”
“It’s a long story.”
“I don’t care. I just want know why.”
“Ok, it happened when I was 17.”
“Wait you were 17, that means you were about 31 when you died.”
“That’s right. Anyway, back then, I was rebellious. One night I was walking alone at night, when your father approached me. He asked me if I wanted to have ‘fun’. I said no. He then grabbed my arm and said that if I didn’t want to than why was I dressed like that walking around in the dark. I pulled my arm away and started to run, but he caught me and brought me to an alley, and…. And…” Prue couldn’t finish the sentence. Penelope looked at her. She didn’t believe her. This was her father that she was talking about! How dare she say these things about him!
“You are lying to me! My father wouldn’t do that!”
“You are part demon right?”
“Yes.”
“You father was a demon whose mission was to get a powerful witch pregnant and for her to bear his child so that the child could become very powerful.”
“You are so full of BS! Ok, I may not know much, but I know that when you became pregnant with me, you weren’t Charmed yet. How do you know all of this now?”
“I was told all of this right after I died. I didn’t even remember you!”
“Wow, you sound like an excellent mother, forgetting about your only child!”
“It’s not my fault.”
“Don’t give me the sympathy story! Ok, what happened after that night?”
“After that, I went home. I felt so ashamed at what had happened. As soon as I got inside, my Grams was waiting for me. She saw me and knew right away that I was….. Anyway, I ran to her and told that I was so sorry. She held me and told me that it was ok. That everything was going to be ok. She asked me what the man looked like. I told her and she got really, REALLY pale and said that I should get some sleep. She than ran up to the Attic. A few weeks later, I had started to clean up my act. No more partying, no more wearing tight clothes, and so on. Well, I realized that I had skipped a period. I told your Aunt Piper and she said that I had to take a pregnancy test. I did that and it came out positive. I was devastated. I was also scared. I knew right away that it was the result of the……” Penelope was listening to this and something inside (REALLY DEEP INSIDE) was feeling sad for this woman who was her mother.
“I get it. So, what happened after?”
“I told my Grams, and she became totally white! She asked me if it was from the man in the alley. I said yes, that I haven’t done anything since that incident. She collapsed and tears were coming down her cheeks. I went to her and said that it was ok, that I wanted to keep you, that you were an innocent child. I wanted to keep you. She said that it was forbidden! She wanted me to get an abortion! I said that I wasn’t going to do that! She said that I had to. I couldn’t take care of a child all by myself. I said that I wasn’t alone. I had her, Piper and Phoebe and besides she raised three kids after my mother died. She said that you were tainted. Back then I thought that she meant tainted as in being a child of ……. I know now the true meaning.” Penelope sensed pain in her mother. Sadness, regret. Penelope was angry at her Great Grandmother for what she said about her. For what she wanted to do to her
“ABORTION! WTF?! You mean to tell me that your Grandmother wanted to have killed before birth?”
“Yeah. When I told her that I wanted to give birth and not kill you, she got really angry and left to go up to the attic.”
“So what happened after that?”
“She came back and told me that I didn’t have to get an abortion, but when I had the baby, I had to give it up and not to come in contact with it. I still didn’t want to. She said that I was still a minor and that she could decide for me. I know it sounds dumb, but I believed her and agreed to give you up. 9 months later, you were born in the Manor. As soon as you were born, my Grams took you away. I only had a small glimpse of how you looked like and I fell in love. I was still planning to visit you, and my Grams knew that, so she put a spell on me and my sisters to forget all about you, but I still remembered getting ……. by your father.”
“If you forgot all about me, how do you know all this now?”
“Like I said before, after I died, I was told everything and the spell was reversed. I remembered all about you. About how beautiful you looked like when you were born. I started to cry when I heard about what had happened to you. That you became evil and that your father had won.”
“I still don’t believe you that my father only wanted me because I was powerful.”
“What happened with you and your father? Did you do stuff together? Like going to the park?”
“No, all we did was train. Whenever I mentioned that I wanted to be like other kids, he would go all sad and say that I wanted to disappoint him and shame him. I felt guilty and sad and I would promise him that I would work harder.”
“So, you never had a normal childhood?”
“No. But I didn’t care. I loved my father and I was happy that I was with someone who really card about me.”
“He never cared about you. You were only a tool, a prop to him, to help take over the Underworld.”
“You LIER!” Penelope pushed Prue. She got up and understood why she pushed her.
“Look in the Book. There is an entry on him. See for yourself.” Penelope looked in the Book. At first she didn’t believe Prue, but near the middle, she saw the entry. Her father.
“I’m not surprised, he IS a demon! I would understand that you would have his entry in here as a weekly demon to vanquish and your sisters sure succeeded in doing that!”
“Read the entry.” Penelope started to read the entry when she had a strange feeling. A few seconds later, Phoebe and Paige arrived in the cave with potions. Penelope telekinetically threw Phoebe across the cave. Paige threw a potion but Penelope blew it up. Phoebe got up and Paige orbed out. Phoebe threw a kick to Penelope, but she dodged it the same time that Paige orbed back and threw another potion bottle at Penelope hitting her and causing her to lie on the floor bleeding. Phoebe and Paige stood over her.
“Now, give us some answers. Who are you, why do you have some of our powers, and how did you take the Book?” Phoebe said with another potion in her hand. Penelope stayed quiet.
“We can find out your secrets whether or not you want us to! Now speak!” Demanded Paige. Prue ran over.
“Maybe I can tell you!” Phoebe looked in disbelief as she saw her oldest sister standing right in front of her.
“Oh my God! Prue.” Said Phoebe. Paige turned around to see the sister she never knew. Phoebe and Paige wanted to hug her, but she pushed them aside to see Penelope. Penelope looked up at her mother and she sensed love in her. Sadness and heartache as well. Phoebe and Paige were shocked at Prue. Phoebe sensed a lot of pain and tears started to come to her eyes.
“What is it?” Asked Paige.
“It’s Prue, and this demon. There is something between them, I just don’t know what. Prue, why are you concerned about this demon? You’ve always hated demons!” Prue got up and looked at Phoebe straight in the eyes.
“Not demons that I gave birth to.” Phoebe just stood there, mouth hanging open. Paige looked like she was going to lose her mind.
“What? She’s your child?” said Paige. In the background, Penelope moaned in pain. Prue ran back to her and brushed the strands of black hair away from her face. Phoebe felt pain, love and regret coming from Prue and anger, pain, guilt, and longing from Penelope. Phoebe also thought she sensed a little love from Penelope as well. Penelope turned to Phoebe and said.
“That’s right, I am Prue’s daughter. Nice to meet you AUNT Phoebe and AUNT Paige.” And she fell unconscious.

Chapter 4


Benji shimmered to the cave where he and Penelope lived and he saw no one.
“What the Hell? Where is she?” Behind him shimmered a tall creepy demon (For those who’ve seen Harry Potter, he kind of looks like Snape. Except his hair is white and he looks a bit older.) Benji looked at this demon and was scared.
“Where is the half breed? She was supposed to get the Book!”
“I don’t know where she went Malock!”
“You were supposed to be watching her!”
“I was waiting here for her to return, but it was taking longer than usual, so I started to search for her. When I got back, she still wasn’t back.”
“Damn it! If The Charmed Ones have her, she could be turned back to Good! I knew giving her Charmed powers back would cause her to turn! This all your fault Benji!”
“There is still a way. We can go get her. If she is with The Charmed Ones, I could persuade her to come back. She trusts me, she’ll come.”
“You better pray she comes with you. I hope you know that you weren’t very good at making her stay away from Future Boy! That little sneak. I thought for sure he was going to change her.”
“Oh no……”
“What ‘Oh no’? What’s going on Benji?”
“I remember her telling me that she wanted the Book to contact her dead mother. The eldest Charmed One. I thought I had convinced her not to, but I think she did.”
“WHAT!? If she knows too much, it may already too late to bring her back!”
“You mean, if she knows about her father’s true motives?”
“Exactly! She can never find out what her father really wanted from her.”
“Oh, that thing where he was going to give her to you, so that you and him could use her in taking over.” Malock started to ponder. He turned to Benji.
“It may not be too late. Go to her. If she knows a lot, she is going to need a shoulder to cry on, and you’ve done a good job in doing that so far. I’m sure you won’t disappoint me this time.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t” Benji shimmered out. Malock looked around.
“If The Charmed Ones think they can save their new found niece, they are wrong.” He also shimmered out.

Paige orbed everyone to the Manor. Phoebe went to see if Piper was there. She came back.
“Piper’s not here neither are Chris or Wyatt.” said Phoebe.
“Where are they? And who are Chris and Wyatt?” asked Prue.
“Chris and Wyatt are Piper’s two boys.” said Paige
“Oh my God, Piper had kids?”
“Yeah and she just left with them to spend time with Dad.” said Phoebe.
“Oh ok, so what are we going to do about my daughter?” said Prue as she got down to be with her unconscious daughter.
“What we always do.” said Paige.
“Right.” said Phoebe.
“LEO! LEO! LEO!” cried Phoebe and Paige, and soon enough, Leo showed up. He saw Phoebe and Paige, and he also saw Prue with an injured teenager.
“Oh my God! Prue?”
“Hey Leo, how is it going up there?”
“Well, I used to be an Elder, but they took that title away when I killed a fellow Elder. So, I’m just a regular Whitelighter again. But, why am I talking? Prue, oh my gosh……. It’s been so long!” Leo went to hug her, but, like she did with her sisters, she pushed him away.
“No. Heal now, hug later.” She pointed to Penelope, who wasn’t looking so good. Leo got down and started to heal her, but something was wrong, the healing touch wasn’t working entirely.
“What’s wrong Leo? Why can’t you heal her?” Prue said on a panic.
“I don’t know It supposed to work unless……..” Leo looked her more carefully.
“Uhh Prue, is this who I think it is?”
“Who Leo? My daughter? Why yes it is! Thanks for figuring it out!”
“Wait! You knew about her Leo? And you didn’t tell us?” said Phoebe. She was really pissed off. Paige was thinking about a way to heal Penelope.
“Ok, ok. Let’s all just calm down. I think I know how to heal her.” Said Paige. Prue looked at her with appreciation.
“What do you think we should do?” said Prue.
“Well, Phoebe, do you remember how we healed Cole?”
“Yeah, you helped heal him because you are half Whitelighter and your half helped heal his half.”
“Yeah, so I’m thinking since Prue’s daughter is half Whitelighter, we could try to heal her like we healed Cole.”
“It’s worth a try. Please let it work, she’s so young.” said Prue. Phoebe sensed A LOT of motherly love and worry coming from Prue. Paige and Leo got down, joined hands and started to heal her. It was working, but it was taking long. Prue looked worried.
“Why is it taking so long? Why isn’t she healed yet?”
“She was really hit badly, she almost didn’t make it. You’re lucky, she’s going to be alright.” said Leo. In a few minutes, Penelope gasped for breath and bolted up. Prue ran to her and held her tightly, and surprisingly, Penelope hugged her back. Phoebe sensed love coming from both mother and daughter. She started to cry. Prue and Penelope started to cry on each others shoulders. Paige and Leo looked at the pair and they felt happy. The happiness broke when a figure shimmered behind Phoebe. Paige yelled.
“Phoebe, look out!” Phoebe turned around to give the figure a kick in the face, which sent him flying across the room. Penelope got up and ran to him.
“Wait! Stop! It’s just Benji!” She helped him up and they kissed. The people in the attic stood there with mouths hanging open. Just then they heard a door closing downstairs.
“Hello? Is anyone here? I’m back.” Piper was home. Phoebe and Paige looked at each other.
“Oh no! PIPER!”

Chapter 5



Paige and Phoebe were in a complete panic. What were they going to say about the demon who claims to be their niece? They looked at the two demons in an embrace and couldn’t believe one of them was their niece. They heard Piper come up the stairs.
“Ok, you two need to leave NOW!” Said Paige.
“I’m not leaving until I get all the information I came for.” Said Penelope.
“Honey, I think we should leave. I can tell when we’re not wanted.” Benji said as he glared at Paige.
“We never said we didn’t want her.” Said Phoebe.
“Yes you did. You said it when you and your sisters abandoned her and left her in the cold. Making her go from foster home to foster home. And then, when you’d think you’d have enough, you kill her FATHER!” Benji said to Phoebe. He turned to Penelope.
“You didn’t forget about how much pain they caused you did you?”
“Ok, you are so full of crap!” Said Prue. Penelope looked at Prue with a confused look in her eyes. Benji glared at her.
“Be quiet DEAD WITCH!” Said Benji. Penelope looked at him in a shocked look.
“Benji, what the hell?!” Just then Piper came into the room.
“You guys should have seen dad with Chris, it was so……. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!??” Said Piper as she saw the two demons in front of her. She flinged her arms to freeze them, but only froze Benji. Penelope didn’t freeze. Piper looked at her with a confused look. She turned to Paige.
“Ok, why didn’t she freeze?”
“Why don’t you ask the witch behind you?” Said Penelope. Piper turned around and saw Prue. Prue smiled and waved at her.
“Ok, now I think it’s time for a hug.” The four sisters came into a giant bear hug. Penelope watched as her mother and sisters were all reunited and something inside wanted to click. Leo went up to her. He saw the tears in her eyes.
“I always thought that demons didn’t have emotions.” He said. Penelope looked at him and quickly wiped away her tears.
“We don’t, it’s just that…….”
“I understand. It must have been hard having a past like yours.”
“You think? God, you don’t know how crappy I felt. How alone I felt. I would have done anything to have to love that any child would have.” Tears were coming back to Penelope’s eyes. Leo looked at her.
“It doesn’t have to stay like this. Look at them. Don’t you want to be a part of that happiness?” Penelope looked at Leo and almost said yes, but then she remembered her father.
“Look, I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but it’s not going to work. They killed my father! The one person who really cared about me!”
“What are your powers?” he said.
“Excuse me?”
“What are your powers?”
“Empathy, shimmering, telekinesis, energy balls, molecular combustion and fire balls.”
“Ok, so you can tell emotions.”
“Yes.”
“Ok, sense Prue, sense all her emotions about you.” Penelope looked at her mother and concentrated. She felt all sorts of her emotions about her. The strongest was love. She also felt a hope of forgiveness. She looked at Leo.
“She does care. She’s hoping that I’ll forgive her and put all this pain behind me.” Then the hug broke and the attention was turned on Penelope. Piper went up to her.
“So, tell me, who are you and what do you want from my family?” Prue went up to them.
“Piper, she’s my daughter.” Said Prue with hands on Penelope’s shoulder. Piper’s eyes widened. Paige and Phoebe were about to leave but Piper spotted them.
“Oh no you don’t! Did you know about this?” The two looked at the floor. Piper turned and saw Leo doing the same.
“Ok, is someone doesn’t explain this to me soon, I’m going to start blowing up random things!”
“Yeah, Prue, Paige and I would also like to know the whole story. How, how did this happen?” said Phoebe.
“Ok, I think it’s time you knew.” Said Prue and she told them the whole story. The three sisters just looked at Prue and Penelope in disbelief. Piper had tears in her eyes. She couldn’t believe all the pain that her older sister had to go through.
“But, I don’t understand, if you got pregnant, why don’t we remember this?” said Piper. Penelope stepped in.
“Your Grams wanted to do everything in her power to make sure I didn’t exist. So when Mom refused to abort me, she made a deal with your Grams that she had to give me up when I was born. Mom agreed, but she still wanted to visit me to make sure I was ok. Your Grams knew about this, so when I was born, she put a spell on you and Mom to forget all about me and she took me away and left me at the farthest orphanage.” Said Penelope. Prue looked at her daughter in disbelief as she heard her call her “Mom”
“Did you just call me Mom?”
“Yes I did. I know now that you had no choice in giving me up. Your Grams forced you to.” She then glared at Piper, Phoebe and Paige. “But don’t ask me to understand what THEY have done!” They looked in disbelief. Phoebe sensed her and felt anger. LOTS of anger towards them. So much that it took over her. She looked at Piper.
“You ****H!! How dare you murder my father!!” She kicked Piper and made her fly across the room. Penelope saw this and was surprised.
“Phoebe! What’s the matter with you?” Said Paige. When no one saw, Benji unfroze and made himself invisible. He stood at a safe distance to watch the show. Prue got up and held Phoebe.
“Phoebe, Phoebe! Calm down!” Piper got up (with Leo’s help). Phoebe came back to her senses. She stared at Penelope.
“We killed her father. Her demon father….. We killed him.” Phoebe went up to her and placed her hand on Penelope’s shoulder in sympathy. When she did she was pulled into a premonition. In her premonition, she saw all the events of the vanquish. It ended with Penelope glaring at her and Piper and Paige swearing revenge. She came out of it and remembered everything. She looked at Piper and Paige.
“What?” said Piper.
“Remember a few years ago, we were going after this demon who uses women to give him demon children?” said Phoebe. Piper thought for a minute then realized it.
“Oh my GOD!!! There was that girl, who was so angry and disappeared…..” She looked at Penelope. Paige put her hand to her mouth as she also realized the story. Penelope looked at them.
“That’s right, that demon you vanquished, was my father. And the girl, who swore revenge on you, was me!” She telekinetically threw Paige across the attic. Phoebe threw a kick at Penelope, but she blocked it and filled Phoebe over. She looked down at her.
“Thought I didn’t know Martial Arts? I know practically more than you do.” Phoebe got up and tried to punch her. She ducked and kicked her in the back. Phoebe fell on the floor. Prue ran to Penelope and held her back.
“Honey, honey, relax ok? There’s something you need to know.” Said Prue. Penelope looked at her.
“That’s right, you were telling me that my father was listed in the Book, and I was going to search through it, when I was interrupted.” She glared at Phoebe again. Prue looked at her daughter.
“Go check the Book.” Penelope went to the Book and started to flip through it. She got to a page and gasped. She looked at the passage and saw a scary looking figure. Piper went up to her and saw the passage.
“That’s not your father. I don’t recognize him.”
“No, this is Malock. Every month, my father would bring me to him, and he would test me.”
“What kind of test?” said Paige
“Battle. He would set up a battlefield and would judge on how well I could fight. I would be graded on how fast it took me to kill every single being in the scenario. I hated those and always hated to go to Malock. After my father died, I never saw him again, and I was glad. My father always told me that he hated bringing me to him and that it was the only way to prove that I was a good little demon.” She continued to flip through the Book and saw her father’s entry. She read it out loud.

“Framptin. Mid- Level demon. Mission in life is to get powerful witches pregnant and use their children to make an army of powerful demons which he then hand over to his leader……. MALOCK!” Penelope turned white. She felt dizzy. She felt so sick to her stomach. She felt her head. It was full of sweat. Prue went up to her.
“Honey are you ok?” She saw her daughter’s image and got worried. “Leo! Come over here!” As soon as Leo got there, Penelope fainted. Leo caught her at the last second. He brought her over to a couch and placed her on it. Piper looked at her. Paige went up to Piper.
“What is it?”
“I hope we can fix this whole mess.” Prue heard this and went up to them.
“What mess? Do you think that my daughter is a mess!? What do you want to dump her on the streets again? Leave her so that some other demon can brainwash her!!??” Said Prue with tears in her eyes. Piper went to her and hugged her.
“No Prue…. Never! She’s all we have left of you! She’s just an innocent who’s been used and betrayed. I’m just hoping that we can help her so that we can give her a family.” Piper looked at Prue’s eyes and started to cry. The two hugged, but only for a short while because Prue than rushed to see her daughter. She gently shook her and she started to wake up.
“Honey? Are you alright?”
“I don’t believe it! He never cared about me! I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner!!”
“I don’t understand either, you have the Empathy power, why didn’t you sense his true motives?” Asked Leo. “I didn’t have my full powers. I only had my demon powers. Framptin made me drink a potion so that my Charmed powers would be blocked. He said that it was best that I didn’t associate myself with good. Now I see what he really wanted! I can’t believe I was so STUPID!!!” Penelope started to cry. She didn’t care who saw her. Prue held her daughter. Penelope cried on her mother’s shoulder.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…. I’m so sorry….” Said Penelope. She got up and looked at Piper. She went to her………… and gave her a hug. She started to cry on her. Piper held her.
“It’s ok….. it’s ok…. Shhhh. It’s ok…..” Piper gently stroked Penelope’s hair. Penelope looked up at Phoebe and Paige and motioned them to join the hug. She also motioned Prue to join the hug. The five women were all hugging and crying. Leo was looking at the picture and decided to see his own children and leave them alone. Benji meanwhile was still lurking nearby and got very angry he became visible again.
“Kristina!!!! (Penelope’s middle name) How could you!!!!” He ran to Penelope and pushed the others aside. He grabbed her.
“What Benji!? I’m not going to be a demon anymore! I want to become Good!”
“What about your father? Your revenge? What about everything we have worked on? Are you just going to throw all that away, because some **t*hs act all sad and mopey!?”
“First of all, they aren’t acting, I can sense their emotions. They really care about me. Unlike my father! He was only using me to please Malock! You know how much I hated him! And you know that I would never help him! My father was his helper! He never loved me! And about me leaving you! I love you. We can make this work. We can make you good.” Penelope touched Benji’s face, but he pushed it aside.
“No, you will stay evil, trust me.” Benji said a phrase that no one understood and a few seconds later, Malock appeared. Penelope stared in disbelief.
“No….. Benji? How could you!? I’ll never become evil again! NEVER!!”
“Oh yes you will my dear.” Said Malock.
“Not if we can help it.” Said Prue. Malock turned to see four Charmed Ones standing in front of him.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the infamous Charmed Ones. I’ve come prepared for you.” Before anyone could react, Benji grabbed Penelope, and Malock threw some sleeping dust on the five. It took effect on everyone except Prue because she was already dead and Benji because he was a type of demon that was immune to these types of dust. Prue was about to attack Malock, but she turned transparent again.
“Oh No! It can’t be! Not now!!!” She couldn’t believe it. Malock looked at her and laughed.
“Awww! Poor little witch. She can’t save her little girl, because she’s dead! Let’s go Benji.” With that, Malock and Benji disappeared with Penelope.
“NOOO!!!! Penelope!!” Prue fell on her knees and started to weep. Her baby girl was taken from her…… again!

Chapter 6



Benji shimmered into a dark cave with a cell. Penelope was still asleep. Malock shimmered next to Benji. He opened the door to the cell with a spell (hey it rhymes!) then shimmered out. Benji put Penelope inside, and closed the door. Penelope woke up and saw Benji behind the door. She ran to the door and started hitting it.
“Damn it Benji!!! Let me out!!!”
“Now that wouldn’t be a very good idea now would it?”
“I hope you know you’ll never turn me. I know the whole truth. About my father! I just never thought you’d be in on it to! I thought you loved me!”
“Oh God! I’m a demon! Demons don’t love!!”
“So all this time it was a lie!” Tears were welling up in Penelope’s eyes. She couldn’t believe all the people she trusted were lying to her.
“Yeah, well I’d better be going. MALOCK’S waiting for me!” Benji said Malock’s name loud to get under Penelope’s skin. He then shimmered out. Penelope slammed on the door.
“Benji!!! Get back here!!! Let me out!!! Please!” She went back and started using every active power she could to break down the door. Nothing was working. She fell to the floor in tears. She looked at the door and started thinking about her life. How practically everyone had only been using her. She wanted her mother. She’d only known her for a really short time but she really missed her. She stared at the door. She started to think about a song that she heard not too long ago. It really went well with what she was feeling. She had a flashback of each memory with the song in her head.

Let’s talk this over.
It’s not like we’re dead.

Penelope thought about the first time she met Benji. How she looked into his deep blue eyes and started to fall in love.

They were alone in a park. Benji turned to her and kissed her. She smiled and felt like she was melting.

The first fight they had was over something so small. Penelope had home late and Benji started yelling at her. She felt so low.

Chapter 7



Prue looked around and saw her sister’s in a deep sleep. An effect of the dust thrown on them. She had to act fast if she wanted to save her daughter.
“LEO!! LEO!! Please come in here quick!!!!” Leo quickly rushed in, with baby Chris in his arms. He saw Piper, Phoebe and Paige on the floor. He put Chris in a small crib. He rushed over to Piper and started to heal her.
“Leo, they aren’t hurt, they are sleeping. They got hit with sleeping potion.” Leo got up and scratched his head in confusion. Prue’s eyes started to water.
“Leo, go check the Book. Maybe there’s something in there to wake them up.” Leo got up and started to search the Book. Prue walked around trying to find a way to find her daughter. Leo found a way to wake up the sisters. Apparently, smelling salts would do the trick. Leo went to the cabinet and found a small batch. He put a bit on his hand and put his hand in front of each sister and they each started to wake up slowly. Piper was the first to get up. She rubbed her head.
“Wh….what happened?” She looked around and saw a transparent Prue. She also saw her two other sisters on the floor starting to wake up. She looked around and saw no sign of Penelope. She looked at Prue again and saw tears coming down her face.
“Oh no……. Did something happen that I think happened?”
“My baby girl….. She’s gone…..The demons have her…..” Phoebe and Paige got up.
“Oh my God, what just happened?” Said Phoebe.
“Penelope’s gone… those demons took her” said Piper.
“But how….. I mean the last thing I remember was the two demons were standing there. Then all of a sudden one grabbed Penelope and the other threw something at us then that’s it…..” said Paige.
“You were asleep. The demon threw sleeping dust on you.” Said Leo.
“Then how did we wake up?” Said Phoebe. Leo showed her the smelling salts.
“Oh I see.” Said Phoebe. “I’ll make a note of that.” Prue in the mean time walked over to Chris’s crib. She looked down at the small child.
“He’s so beautiful.” She said. Piper went up to Prue.
“We’ll find her and then we’ll give her the family she never had.” All of a sudden Chris started to cry. Piper picked him up and started to rock him back and forth. He calmed down. Piper put him down again. As soon as she did, he orbed out.
“Oh no! Chris! Where did you go!!??” Piper started to panic. Leo went to her.
“What happened?” He looked at the empty crib. “Oh no…..”

Penelope was still lying on the floor of the cell. She turned her head and saw orbes form into a baby. The baby started to cry. Penelope got up and went to the baby. She picked him up. He looked at her and all of a sudden stopped crying. She rocked him back and forth.
“It’s ok, it’s gonna be ok. I’m gonna make sure you’ll be alright Chris.” She kissed little Chris on the forehead. She hugged him. Chris tried to orb back, but as soon at they got to the top of the cell, they were repelled. They came down. Penelope tried to protect Chris from the fall. This caused her to hit her head hard, and she got knocked out. Chris was lying next to her completely scratch free, but he started to scream and cry.

Benji and Malock were in Malock’s cave and they were talking about Penelope.
“Of all the times you’ve screwed up Benji, this is the worst!!!”
“What!? We have the half breed, she’s in the little cell!”
“But she may have been completely turned after finding out the truth about her father!”
“And why are you blaming this on me?”
“Because you were responsible for making sure she never even got in touch with her MOTHER!!! And you failed!! Now she knows the whole truth and it may be impossible to turn her back now!!!”
“Ok, I’m sorry! But why are you so crazy to make sure that the half breed becomes evil?”
“Not too long ago, I found out that one of the children of a Charmed One will become totally evil and will dominate the entire cosmos!! I was certain that it was Kristina because she has demon blood in her.” Benji looked at Malock.
“Wait!!! Is this what everything’s all about?”
“Yes!!! Now, because of you, evil will not dominate the cosmos!”
“I don’t think Kristina’s the child that will become evil.”
“What? Why do you say that?”
“Remember when I told you that Kristina has been contacting a stranger from the future?”
“Of course I do.”
“Well, I remember her telling me that he came from the future to save his brother from evil.”
“WHAT!!! And you never told me!!?? How dare you keep something this important from me!!” Malock zapped Benji and sent him flying into a wall. “Give me one good reason why I should keep you alive?”
“Because I am the only crazy demon who thought you could use Kristina to take over the Underworld.”
“No, it’s because you are a pathetic excuse for a demon. I should kill you right here and now!” Malock went up to Benji and grabbed his neck and lifted him up.
“I wouldn’t do that if I was you. I’m the only ally you’ve got!!” Malock threw Benji on the floor.
“You’re right about that at least! Get out of my sight before I change my mind about not killing you!” Benji got up and shimmered out.

Back in the cell, Penelope got up and heard baby Chris crying. She got and picked him up.
“Shhh. It’s ok. It’s all ok. I’m here. You’ll be ok. It’s all gonna be ok.” She held him and started to rock him back and forth. The baby looked at her and gave a little smile. Penelope laughed at that. She held him close to her. Poor little guy, he was gonna grow up to a world of destruction. She tickled his tummy and he laughed a little. She made silly faces to him. He lifted his tiny hands, and touched her face. A tear rolled down Penelope’s face. So small, so innocent. He’s gonna have such a responsibility that could make someone insane. Chris felt the tear on his hand.
“Hey little guy, I’m gonna make a promise to you right here. I’m gonna make sure you’ll have a childhood that I never had, in honor of the older you who came back from the future.” She gave little Chris another kiss on his head. “I’m also gonna protect you with my life.” She gave Chris a small hug. She started to rock him back and forth until he fell asleep. She didn’t see Benji shimmer behind her.
“Hello little half breed.” Penelope’s head shot up. She couldn’t let Benji see Chris. She tried to think up a spell to turn him invisible. She thought of one and whispered it. Hopefully it would work.
“To protect what is special to me. Make this little guy invisible so that all cannot see.” Chris turned invisible. Penelope gave a sigh of relief and carefully placed Chris on the floor in front of her. Benji walked up to the cell.
“Did you say something?” He asked. Penelope walked to the door.
“I was trying a vanquishing spell on back stabbing demons…. Looks like it didn’t work.”
“I’m not surprised, you ARE a HALF BREED!!” Said Benji. Penelope got so angry, she grabbed Benji by the neck and started to squeeze with all her might.
“Here’s another spell I’ve been working on….. You hurt me, you betrayed me, now with my special spell, you will feel the pain I felt while you burn like HELL!!!” Penelope shot Benji to a wall. He fell on the floor. He got up and laughed.
“Looks like your little spell didn’t wor…..” All of a sudden flames erupted around Benji.
“No….NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!” He yelled as the flames engulfed him. Penelope watched as the man who she loved burned in flames and became ashes. She them fell to the floor in tears. She then heard Chris making baby sounds. She reversed the spell.
“Now that the danger is gone for now, make this child visible right now.” Chris became visible. He was awake. Penelope picked him up and started walking around with him. She looked outside and saw Benji’s ashes. She then looked down at Chris. His little hands went up to touch her face again.
“Don’t worry, we’ll get out of this. We’ll be fine.” Penelope sat down and rocked Chris back and forth and back and forth. The little baby fell asleep. Penelope looked down at him again. Hopefully the things she told him would come true. She hoped that they were gonna be alright.

Chapter 8


At the Manor Leo was trying to sense Chris. Piper was right next to him. She stared at Leo. Leo opened his eyes and shook his head.
“What?” Piper said.
“I can’t sense him anywhere.”
“No, it can’t be….. he can’t be……..” Piper was about to fall on the floor but Leo caught her. Piper grabbed him and held on to him.
“Leo, he can’t be dead! He just can’t be!!!” Phoebe watched Piper in pain and tears came to her eyes. Prue saw what was happening. First she loses her daughter, now her sister has lost her son. Prue put her hands on her face in disbelief. Paige on the other hand was thinking. Chris couldn’t be dead. Something wasn’t adding up. Then it hit her.
“Piper, Chris isn’t dead!!!” Said Paige. Piper turned at looked at Paige.
“What did you say?” Piper went up to Paige.
“Chris is not dead.”
<br>“If he’s not dead, then why can’t Leo sense him?”
<br>“Leo can’t sense him, because he’s not on Earth. He’s in the Underworld!”
“WHAT!!?? How can Chris go to the Underworld? He’s barely 3 months old!”
“I don’t know how he did it, but I’m pretty sure that’s why he can’t be sensed. I refuse to believe that my nephew is dead!” Prue went up to Paige.
“Oh my God, I think you are right! I think he went there to find Penelope!”
“Ok, so let’s go and find them!!” Said Phoebe.
“We need to have a plan in case Malock or Benji are gonna be waiting for us.” Said Leo.
“We can come up with plans later Leo, right now, I want to find my son!” Said Piper.
“And I want to find my daughter!” Said Prue.
“And I want all this confusion to be over!” Said Paige. Leo looked at the four women. He didn’t have a choice.
“Alright. Prue do you want to wait here or do you want to come with us?” Said Leo.
“What do you think Leo!!?? Of course I want to come. Get the crystals. When you get there say the spell to make me appear.” She looked at Piper, Phoebe and Paige. “I may be dead, but there’s still a little magic left in me, and those demons are going to get the fist taste of it!” Paige laughed a little at what Prue said. Leo then grabbed Piper’s arm and Paige took some crystals and took Phoebe’s arm and they orbed out leaving Prue in the Manor. She then started to disappear. She hoped that the spell would work again. She wanted to see her daughter and she wanted to save her.

Penelope was still holding Chris in her arms. She put him down and lied down next to him. He was still asleep. She was feeling so tired. Her eyes started to close when she heard a loud crash. She bolted up and saw Malock shooting energy balls at the cell. Penelope quickly grabbed Chris and shielded him in case of an explosion. Malock shimmered into the cell. He saw what Penelope was holding.
“Well well well. Look what we have here. What are you holding Kristina?” Malock went to grab Chris but Penelope telekinetically threw him across the cell.
“Don’t you dare!” Penelope glared at him. Malock got up and did the same thing to Penelope. Penelope shielded Chris from the fall. Chris woke up and started crying. Penelope was lying close to him. She was awake a little. Malock went up to her and started to kick her. He picked her up and threw her across the cell. She was lying on the floor barely awake. She remembered the spell to hide Chris.
“T-t-t-to p-p-rot-t-tect wh-wh-what is s-s-s-special t-t-to m-m-me. M-m-make th-th-th-this l-l-l-lit-t-ttle g-g-guy inv-v-v-vis-s-sib-b-ble s-s-so th-th-th-that a-a-all c-c-can-n-nnot s-s-see.” Penelope then collapsed and Chris disappeared. Malock looked at her. He thought the spell she said were just meaningless words uttered out in confusion. He turned to get Chris only to see that he had disappeared. He was going to find what Penelope was hiding. He looked around. Penelope’s eyes opened up and she saw Malock very close to Chris. She gathered up all of her strength and shot a huge energy ball at him. It injured his back, but also made him very angry. He shot an electric beam at her. It shocked her a lot and she laid there barely alive. Malock looked at her. He said a spell to put him on the other side of the cell. He then said another spell to make sure no one could enter. He shimmered out.

The others orbed to a small cave in the Underworld. Paige put the crystals on the floor. The three sisters gathered around and said the spell.

Hear these words
Hear our cry.
Spirit from the other side.
Come to we.
We summon thee.
Cross now.
The great divide.

White orbs formed in the crystals. Piper looked at who arrived and her jaw dropped. So did Phoebe’s and Paige’s. The woman inside the crystals wasn’t Prue……..
“Oh my God….. Grams?” Said Piper.
“Hello, my darlings.” Said Penny Halliwell.

Chapter 9


The three sisters just stood there confused. Penny stepped out of the circle to become non-transparent. Phoebe went up to her.
“Grams, what are you doing here?”
“You called for someone, I answered. How have you been?”
“Not right now Grams, we can chit chat later, where’s Prue?” Said Piper.
“She had some other things that she needed to do.”
“What could be more important than her daughter?” Said Paige.
“What?” Said Grams.
“Oh yeah that’s right. We know about Prue’s daughter. You know the one that you wanted to have aborted and the one we forgot about because you wiped our memory of her existence. Yeah that daughter.” Said Piper. Penny got an uncomfortable look in her face.
“Ok ok, we can talk about this later, right now we need to find Penelope and Chris.” Said Leo.
“Chris, you mean that whitelighter kid?” Said Penny. Paige grabbed Phoebe.
“Phoebe she doesn’t know about baby Chris does she?”
“Oh no! She doesn’t. What are we going to do?”
“I don’t know right now, but we can’t sit around and wonder, Leo’s right we need to find Penelope and Chris.” Said Paige. Phoebe went up to Penny.
“Ummm yeah… Ok so let’s find them before it’s too late. Leo can you sense them?” Leo started sensing for them.

Back in the cell, Penelope was still unconscious and barely alive and Chris was still invisible. Penelope started shivering and coughing. Her eyes opened up a little but she had little or no energy left. She looked and she saw white lights glowing all around her. She looked up and she saw her mother coming down. Her hand reached out to her. She looked at her face and saw tears in her eyes. Penelope got a look of horror in her face. Was this her time to go? She couldn’t die now! She had to make sure Chris would be alright. She had promised him that she’d get them out of this. Prue stretched her arm out to Penelope. Penelope wouldn’t give her hand to Prue.
“No Mom, It’s not my time yet. I know it’s not my time yet! I can’t die now! Please Mom. I can’t die now. Please.” Penelope got tears in her eyes. She was so cold and so tired.
“Penelope please come with me, you’ll be alright, you’ll be safe and warm and happy. You’ll be at peace. Take my hand. I don’t want to see you in this much pain.”
“It’s worth it. If I can save this little boy, then I don’t care how much pain I’m in.” Prue smiled.
“I’ll do the best I can up there, but I can’t promise you anything. If I come back, you’ll have no choice, you’ll have to come with me or else you’ll be confronted by the Angel Of Death, and trust me you don’t want that.” Penelope was still on the floor shivering.
“How much time do you think I’ll have?”
“I don’t know honey.”
“Ok, Ahhhh!!” Penelope felt a stabbing pain in her gut. Prue looked at her, feeling so helpless. She looked up and she felt herself being pulled up. Prue looked down at Penelope and blew her a kiss.
“Goodbye….. Hopefully I won’t be seeing you in a long time.” Prue disappeared. Penelope was left cold in the cell. She was so tired. She got up and started to look for Chris.
“Chris? Where are you?” She moved her hand gently on the floor until she felt a soft bundle. She lay down next to it. She felt a hand go to her face. She managed a weak smile. Her breaths were becoming ragged. All of a sudden Chris started screaming very loudly. Penelope reversed the spell in a very soft whisper.
“Now…….. that……… the………. danger……. is…….. gone…….. for……… now…... make………. this………. child…… visible……… right………. now.” Chris became visible. Penelope smiled.
“Hey little guy. Sorry you have to see me like this. I’m just so tired.” Chris started crying again. Penelope got tears in her eyes. She was so cold. So tired. She turned her head to look outside the cell and she saw blue lights…….orbs…… materializing into Leo Piper and another woman. She saw Leo run to the cell only to be rejected. Penelope turned her head to Chris again. Piper ran to him and helped him up, she walked over to the cell and looked inside she saw Penelope on the floor and Chris right next to her.
“Oh my God! Leo come here.” Leo went to her and saw the scene inside the cell. Grams went up to the cell and saw Penelope.
“Oh my goodness……..” Grams put her hands to her face. Piper looked at her. Just then Phoebe and Paige orbed in. They went to the cell door. Phoebe gasped.
“Oh no! She’s not dead is she?” Penelope turned her head and saw the people looking at her. She started shivering violently and coughing. She had ragged breaths.
“You h-have t-to h-help Ch-Chris.” She said.
“Where is he?” Said Piper. Penelope gathered all of her strength to telekinetically move Chris to near the door. Piper looked down him. She stepped back and tried to blow up the door.
“It won’t work Piper, I already tried that.” Penelope said full of pain. Grams just kept her eyes on the tiny baby.
“This isn’t who I think he is.. Is he?” Phoebe went next to Grams.
“This is Chris. Remember our whitelighter? Well turns out he was Piper’s second son from the future and well this is his present self.” Grams jaw opened wide.
“We were surprised as well when we found out who he really was.” Said Paige. Piper gave up on trying to blow up the door.
“Leo try orbing in.” Leo tried orbing in but couldn’t.
“I don’t get how come Chris got in but Leo can’t?”
“Because Chris orbed in before Malock cast a spell on it.” Said Penelope. Sweat was pouring down her face.” Her eyes started to close. Piper called to her.
“Oh no you don’t young lady, you will fight this, you are too young to die. Come on you can fight this.” Penelope had tears in her eyes.
“It hurts, I’m so tired….” Piper gathered everyone together.
“Ok this is what we are going to do. Paige, go back to the Manor, find out if there’s a vanquishing spell or a potion to get rid of Malock. Phoebe, go with Paige, Leo try finding something about Malock from the Elders, Grams and I will stay here with Penelope and Chris in case Malock shows up and to make sure Penelope doesn’t leave us early.” Paige and Phoebe left for the Manor. Leo went to Piper and held her.
“We’ll get them out. Don’t worry.”
“I know, thank you.” They hugged and Leo orbed out.

Chapter 10



Paige and Phoebe orbed to the Manor. They went upstairs to the attic to try and find some information they could use to destroy Malock. Paige started looking through the book and she found the entry on Malock.
“Phoebe, I found the entry on Malock.” Phoebe went up to the book. Paige started to read the entry.
“Malock is not a high level or low level demon. Not many witches know about him, but he is indeed very dangerous. He hires demons to get witches pregnant so that he may use the spawns for evil. That’s just disgusting.”
“I know. Is there anything on how to vanquish him?” Phoebe was now looking through the potions cabinet.
“There is. But it’s not good news.”
“What is it?”
“Well, it says here that one child will be able to vanquish him only to be killed afterwards……. A child with Charmed blood….”
“It can’t mean Penelope?”
“I don’t know, but there is a spell and a potion in here. I don’t believe that Penelope is meant to kill herself while vanquishing him. We’ll try the spell and potion ourselves to see if it’ll work. I don’t want to lose my niece before getting to know her.”
“I don’t plan to either. What about the cell door, how are we going to get it opened?”
“Penelope said that Malock cast a spell on it, so why don’t we just throw a counter spell to dis-enchant it.
“That sounds like a good idea. Ok, we need to get back to Piper in case anything has happened.”
“Ok, you write the spell for the door, and I’ll get to work on the potion.”

Back in the Underworld, Piper looked into the cell. Penelope resembled Prue so much it was unbelievable. Penelope started to gather her strength. She rolled over on her back. She then rolled over on her stomach. She tried to crawl to Piper. She looked up at her.
“I have to tell you something.”
“What is it?”
“I knew Chris. Adult Chris. He used to come visit me when I used to live down here. At first I thought he was another demon, but then he told me who he really was. He told me about the future everything. He told me that it was Hell on Earth. He knew who I was and the few days before he died, he started to beg me to find out about my heritage and to become good. I didn’t listen to him. I didn’t care about becoming a witch fighting for good. Chris then grabbed my arms and looked me straight in the eye and said that he knew that there was some good in me. That deep down I was a careing person. I asked him how he knew that and he told me that in the future, I risk my life to save someone I love. He then told me that he would be returning to the future because his mission was complete. I was upset of course, but I told him that I wouldn’t become good, but that I would contact my mother. Later, I found out that Chris never made it back home that he died while trying to save the brother that would torture him in the future. When I found out, I was very angry and full of hate. But I kept my promise to him, I contacted my mother. And now, I’m dying because I risked my life to save little Chris, but I have never been more at peace then I am now. I just hope that it wasn’t all in vain. ” Piper listened to Penelope’s story and tears came to her eyes.
“Don’t you say that you are going to die, we will figure out how to get the both of you out of there.” Grams went up to the cell. She looked at the teenager lying on the floor. She shook her head.
“I have been so wrong. All these years, I was terribly wrong.”
“Who are you?” Asked Penelope.
“Penelope, this is Grams.” Said Piper. Penelope was shocked to see the woman who wanted to get rid of her like she was a lethal disease. She was full of rage. Her hand formed an energy ball.
“How dare you show your face to me!” Penelope shot the ball at the door causing an explosion. The door blew up sending Piper and Grams across the cave. Penelope got knocked out and Chris started yelling. Piper and Grams got up. Piper saw that Penelope’s anger released the powerful witch in her and blew up the door. Piper ran to Chris and picked him up. She hugged him tightly, and started kissing him. Grams ran to Penelope. She felt her face. It was scalding hot. She felt her pulse. It was very weak. Phoebe and Paige suddenly orbed in. They saw Piper with Chris and Grams bent over Penelope. Paige went over to Penelope.
“What happened?”
“She hates me so much that she blew that door to a billion pieces. She is truly a Halliwell. But she is having trouble staying alive. She hardly has a pulse and she is scalding hot.” Said Grams. Phoebe went to Piper. Piper told her the same thing that Grams told Paige.
“Piper there’s something you need to know……” Piper turned to see Penelope on the floor.
“Not right now Phoebe!! Leo!!! We need you right now! It’s an emergency!!!! Leo!!!” Leo orbed in. He saw everything he ran to Piper and smiled when he saw that Chris was alright.
“What happened? How did they get out?”<br>“Heal now, ask later.” Piper pointed to Penelope. Leo ran to her. He along with Paige started to heal her. It was taking really long to heal her. Grams started to walk back. After seeing how angry she could get, she didn’t want her to get a power rush. Leo and Paige were still trying to heal Penelope.
“Leo, why is it taking so long? It didn’t take this long before.” Asked Paige.
“I don’t know. Her body is past exhaustion. It’s taking longer for her body to respond. Hopefully, we’re not too late.” Said Leo. Penelope’s eyes started to open. Leo looked up and smiled, telling everyone that she was going to be ok. Penelope got up and said thanks to Leo and Paige. Then she had a very short hug with the others. Grams stood in the background. She still felt uncomfortable around Penelope. After the hug broke, Paige decided to talk to Penelope to make sure that she didn’t try to blow Grams up again. Phoebe then took Piper aside.
“Piper, Paige and I figured out how to vanquish Malock, but you are not going to like it.”
“What is it?”
“Well, the good news is that he can be vanquished, but the bad news is that Penelope has to vanquish him and she’ll end up dieing along with him.” When Piper heard this, her face became white, she started to feel dizzy, but she took a deep breath.
“We are not going to let that happen. I won’t allow this to happen.”
“I don’t want this to happen either Piper. So, that’s why Paige and I found the spell and a potion so that maybe he’ll be vanquished just by the power of three. I don’t want to lose her either.”
“Don’t want to lose who?” Penelope had come up behind Phoebe and had heard the end of their conversation. Piper quickly covered it up.
“Just an innocent we’ve been helping. She’s in trouble with a demon, and we don’t want to lose. When you’ve helping innocents as long as us, you start to worry a lot.”
“I see so did you and Paige find a way to kill Malock?”
“Yes, but we’ll explain as soon as we get out of here.” Said Phoebe. She called Leo to come and they orbed out of the Underworld. Malock appeared right after they left. He saw the cell door in pieces and scorch marks near the cell.
“Damn, they got away! You can run half breed, but you can’t hide.” And he shimmered out.

Chapter 11



Malock shimmered to his lair. He went to a small pool of water. He threw some herbs inside and he chanted something a dark language, forbidden from usage. Soon Benji came up from the pool. His eyes widened with disbelief. He looked at his hands and got out of the pool and started to walk around. Malock just stared at him.
“How……… how am I alive? Penelope vanquished me. I can definitely remember her killing because I felt the burning of the flames. HOW AM I ALIVE!!!” Malock threw Benji against the wall.
“Don’t ask questions! Just be glad that you are alive! Or else I’ll vanquish you again, and this time I won’t bring you back.” Benji then shut up.
“So why did you bring me back?”
“I need help. They got away.”
“I’m not surprised. She is pretty powerful. That spell she threw at me was pretty painful if I didn’t mention it before.”
“Whatever. I need you to distract her. When she’s alone and vulnerable. Lead her to me. I’ll destroy her before they can destroy me.” Benji shook his head.
“I won’t do it.” Malock grew angry.
“What! Why do you dare to go against me?”
“Because something else happened to me while I was burning.”
“What was it you fool?”
“I don’t know if you forgot, but I did. I was also part witch. My mother was a witch and my father was another one of your demons. While I was burning everything came back to me, my human half came back and I felt her pain, I felt her suffering and I refuse to hurt her anymore. I DID love her! I just didn’t feel it because my human half was less than nothing because of my training. Now, everything is back. I hope to get rid of the evil inside of me by taking a power stripping potion and I know you have some in stock.” Benji looked around and saw the cabinet where Malock kept his potions and powders. Benji ran to it. Malock shot an energy ball at him. Benji moved sideways on time. He then shot an energy ball back at Malock. The ball sent him flying to a wall where he got knocked out. Benji took this opportunity to search to cabinet for the potion. He had studied Malock’s potions as part of his training so he knew which potion it was. As luck would have it, the last potion was the potion for power stripping. As soon as Benji found the potion, Malock got up and he shot an energy ball at Benji, but luckily he shimmered out before it hit him.

Back at the Manor, everyone had just orbed back. Penelope looked at Grams and she still had some very bitter feeling towards her. Piper, Phoebe, and Paige were coming up with a plan for vanquishing Malock. Grams decided to try and talk to Penelope. She approached her, Penelope glared at her.
“Don’t even try to talk to me. I don’t want to hear it. I may not able to hurt you physically, but I can try to hurt you psychologically.”
“Listen to me. I didn’t know that you wouldn’t be as bad as I thought. I was afraid for my family.”
“And I didn’t count as family? I’m your GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER! How much more family do you expect from me?”
“You were, and still are, a half DEMON! How else was I supposed to act? I didn’t want evil to live in the house. You were also an easy target to bring danger to your mother and her sisters.”
“How? How could an innocent child bring about any danger?”
“I didn’t want demons to come after you and put everyone in danger.”
“Just cut the crap ok? I was told that at the time I was born, my mother’s powers were binded. Evil hardly came after them. You could have done the same thing to me. But you didn’t. You would have preferred that the demon child be vanquished. Killed before taking its first breath.”
“Your father remembered how your mother looked like, he wouldn’t stop until he got you, and plus what was I going to do having to raise another child much less a half DEMON!”
“It still doesn’t even begin to make it alright between us. I’ll never understand what you did! And I’ll never forgive you NEVER!” And Penelope ran downstairs. She ran outside and did not care about demons or good or evil or her family or Benji. All she wanted to do was run! She kept on running until she got to a nearby park. She ran to the deserted part of the park. She sat on a swing and started to cry. She had just been through so much in so little time and she needed to let everything flow out. All of a sudden she looked in front of her and thought she saw a shimmering figure appear. She got up from the swing and cautiously stepped back. She hid behind some trees and saw that the shimmering figure was Benji! Penelope gasped. She remembered killing him! She saw him flame up. She stayed hidden. She didn’t want him seeing her. She saw him head towards the deserted swings. He sat down and took the potion that he had stolen earlier. Penelope saw him stare at the bottle. He opened it, took a deep breath and chugged it down. Benji then felt strange. He started coughing. He fell off the swing and was having some sort of spasm. He yelled out in pain and then Penelope saw some dark smoke coming out his mouth. Benji then just laid there, trying to catch his breath. He got up and tried to shimmer out. It didn’t work. He looked around and tried to shoot and energy ball at the trees where Penelope still hid. It also didn’t work. Benji realized that the demon half of him was now gone forever. He was now completely human. He was so happy he started to jump up in the air. Penelope wanted to know what was going on. She got out of the trees and telekinetically threw Benji across the park. He got up and stood face to face with her. Penelope stood back ready to strike again.
“How dare you come back after lying to me!”
“You don’t understand. Everything’s different now”
“Don’t give me anymore BS! I have had it with people lying to me!” Penelope threw Benji towards the trees. Benji got up unable to react. He wouldn’t even if he could. Penelope stared at him.
“Why aren’t you reacting? Why aren’t you returning my blows with a few of your own?” Penelope threw him again.
“I can’t use magic anymore. I have no powers left at all!”
“You expect me to believe you? Excuse me, but I believe that you have already lied to me countless times.”
“This time I’m telling the truth. I stole Malock’s power stripping potion and I just took it now! Everything is gone! My powers, my hate! Everything that made me a demon is gone! Even the shield that prevented you from reading my emotions. I’m no longer a demon but a full human.”
“I still don’t believe you.”
“Then prove it for yourself. Go ahead! Read my emotions! Read my thoughts! I don’t care! Just prove it for yourself that I am telling the truth.” Penelope went ahead and read Benji’s emotions. She felt pain, regret, and surprisingly love. A LOT of love for her and hope. She didn’t feel hate. She didn’t feel anger. She felt that he was telling the truth. She opened her eyes and saw Benji standing there. Without a second thought, she ran to him and they embraced. She started crying on his shoulder and he just held her.
“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” Said Benji. Penelope shushed him.
“Shhhh. Just hold me.” They looked at each other and then they kissed.

Chapter 12


After Penelope had run downstairs, Piper went up to Penny to see what had happened.
“I am sorry Piper, but that girl is very over dramatic.”
“Can you blame her, Grams? She’s been abandoned and back stabbed by everyone she’s known, she’s found out that her life has been nothing but a great big lie, and not to mention the fact that she nearly died! So, yes Grams wouldn’t you think she’d be just a little over dramatic?” Grams was shocked at the way Piper had just spoken to her. Piper looked back at Grams. She went back to Phoebe and Paige.
“I’m going to go talk to her. She’s probably still downstairs, I don’t think she’d go to far when she’s vulnerable like this.” Piper went downstairs. She looked around and saw that Penelope was nowhere to be seen.
“Penelope? Penelope? Are you there?” There was no answer. Piper started to worry. Did Malock get to her? Piper quickly called out to Leo. Leo came downstairs.
“What’s wrong?”
“Penelope’s gone. I’m afraid that Malock got to her…….”
“No, she’s not in the Underworld. I can sense her.” Leo interrupted. Piper looked at him in a ‘Well-if-you-can-sense-her-can-you-go-bring-her-back-please’ kind of way. Leo got the message and orbed out. Piper went back upstairs to her sisters.
“Did you guys come up with a plan for when Malock attacks?”
“We are hoping that this spell and potion will work. We’ll try to use our powers against him to try and weaken him, then we’ll throw the potion and recite the spell. Hopefully it’ll work.” Said Phoebe. Paige handed a potion to Piper.
“I know this will work. It has to.” Said Piper.

Leo orbed to the nearby park where he saw Penelope and Benji embracing. From Leo’s view, it looked as if Benji were attacking Penelope. Leo ran to Benji, pulled him away from Penelope and threw him on the floor. He was about to electrocute him, but Penelope telekinetically threw Leo away from Benji. Penelope stood in front of Benji. She helped him up. They held hands. Leo got up and looked at the two.
“Leo, he’s not evil!!! Don’t hurt him!” Penelope said to Leo. He just looked at her in a confused way.
“Penelope, you need to come back home. Piper thought that something had happened to you.” Leo said finally.
“I don’t want to go back. Not while that woman is there.” Penelope was talking about Grams. She was still very angry at her. She didn’t she could ever forgive her for what she wanted to do. Benji went next to her and took her hand.
“You need to go back to them. They are the only family you’ve got.”
“I have you.”
“I wouldn’t be enough for you. You need your family.”
“Then you’re coming with me.”
“I can’t. I don’t think that they’ve forgiven me for my betrayal.”
“I forgive you! If they love me, they’ll learn to forgive you too.” Penelope looked at Benji. He looked back at her. He smiled.
“Alright. I’ll come with you.” Penelope smiled. Leo orbed out and Penelope held Benji’s hand and she shimmered out.

At the Manor, Piper was waiting for Leo to arrive. Soon enough blue orbes formed and Leo came into view.
“Where is she?” Said Piper. In the time it took her to say that, Penelope shimmered in with Benji. Paige saw him.
“You!! Chair!!!” Paige called for a chair and threw it at Benji. Penelope blew up the chair. Piper tried to blew Benji up, but Penelope threw Benji on the floor and Piper ended hitting the wall.
“Penelope! What has gotten into you?!” exclaimed Piper.
“Benji’s human now! He doesn’t have anymore demonic powers! He’s completely powerless!” She stood in front. She turned to Phoebe. “Sense him Phoebe. He has no more demon in him.” Phoebe sensed him. She sensed no demon in him, nor hate, nor anger. He was pure human.
“Penelope’s right. He’s a full human.” Piper walked to the pair.
“I’m keeping my eye on you.” She said to Benji. Penelope clutched at his hand. Piper and Paige walked back to the Book. Penelope followed, ignoring Grams, who was standing nearby.
“So, how are we going to vanquish Malock?” Penelope asked as she started looking through the Book. Phoebe quickly answered the question.
“Uhhhh… just the regular way, you know spell, vanquish, you know the usual.” Penelope sensed nervousness coming from Phoebe, Piper and Paige.
“Did you forget that I am an empath like you Phoebe? I can sense your emotions, and right now, I’m sensing that you three aren’t telling me something. What is it? Tell me.” Paige stepped out.
“The truth is that we did find out how to vanquish him, but we think that there may be another way and we are going to go with that way.” Penelope looked at Paige.
“Ok, but can you tell me what the original plan was? Who knows, it may work.”
“I don’t think so. Look, why don’t you let us handle this. We’ve been doing this for quite a while now.” Said Piper. Penelope started to get suspicious.
“Look, I am also Charmed. I have Charmed blood. I think I would be able to help out in this situation. So, can you tell me the other way of vanquishing Malock.” Phoebe handed her the Book, which was already on Malock’s page. Penelope took the Book and started reading the passage. She got to the vanquishing part. She read it and her eyes grew wide.
“So, in order for Malock to die, I have to vanquish him myself while killing myself in the process….” Benji walked up beside Penelope and put his hands on her shoulders.
“It can’t be….. There must be another way. Is there?”
“Hopefully. We came up with a spell and a potion that we hope will vanquish him.” Paige said as she handed over to Penelope a potion bottle. Penelope looked at the bottle and then handed it back to Paige. Benji took Penelope’s hand.
“I don’t want to lose you again.” He whispered into Penelope’s ear. Penelope smiled at him.
“You won’t. I believe that their spell is going to work.” Piper went over to Leo.
“Leo, could you please take Wyatt and Chris to Magic School? I don’t want them here where it could be dangerous.” Leo nodded and orbed their two sons to safety. Piper went back to her sisters. Grams tried to go to talk to Penelope, but she turned and walked away with Benji.
“You never told me how you came back to life? I remember killing you.”
“Malock brought me back using some dark magic.”
“But, why would he do that?”
“He wanted me to help him distract you so that he could ambush you and the Sisters.” Penelope looked at him. She let go of his hand.
“What! I don’t believe this. Are you sure about this?”
“Yes. I of course disagreed to go through with it. Malock got angry.”
“Why did you disagree to go with his plan?”
“I don’t think I’ve ever told you this, but I was also a half-witch. My father was another one of Malock’s demons and my mother was a witch. Not as powerful as your mother, so after I was born, Malock came and killed her. I was raised as a full blooded demon. When you were vanquishing me, my demon side died before my witch side so for a few seconds I felt all your pain, and all the love I was hiding because I was a demon. When Malock brought me back, my demonic side was alive, but so was my witch side. Only this time, it was much stronger than before. I wanted to get rid of the demonic side of me, so I stole Malock’s power stripping potion before he could kill me, and well the rest is history.” Penelope hung on to his words and she studied his emotions. He was telling her the truth. Every word was true. Penelope took his hand again.
“So, looks like we had a lot more in common then we thought.” She smiled Benji smiled back.
“Well, well. Looks like the demon got the girl back after all. How romantic, but sooner or later all happy stories need to come to an end and here’s yours!!!” Penelope and Benji turned around and saw Malock standing there holding an energy ball. He threw it at the couple. Benji pulled Penelope to the floor and Malock missed. The Sisters ran to Malock with the spell and potions. Piper tried blowing him up several times. It didn’t work. Paige threw stuff telekinetically. That didn’t work either. Penelope was throwing energy balls and fire balls to distract him. While his back was turned, the Sisters took the spell and started reciting:
“You used witches, you make our stomachs turn
You made these sins and now you’ll burn!”
Each sister threw their potions at Malock. There was a great explosion and smoke acme from every direction. This caused the Sisters to believe that Malock had been vanquished.
“See, we told you that we’d take care of it.” Said Paige. Phoebe gasped, because as soon as Paige finished talking Malock had stepped out of the smoke and was smiling. He telekinetically threw the Sisters into the wall where they got knocked out. Grams looked at her hands and saw that she was becoming transparent. Malock turned to Penelope and shot a huge energy ball at her. Benji dove in front of Penelope knocking her to the floor and sending himself crashing down with a gaping wound in his chest. Malock looked at the damage that he had done and shimmered out. Penelope ran to Benji. She lifted his head. She was crying. Benji was half awake. He touched her hair.
“This really is more painful than it looks.” He said, in a joking way. Penelope let out a small laugh.
“Hang on ok? You’ll be alright. Leo!” Penelope called out to Leo. He didn’t respond. He had been called by the Elders while at Magic School and could not hear Penelope’s cries. Benji stroked Penelope’s hair.
“At least, I can go with a cleaner soul…..” Benji coughed.
“Don’t talk like. Don’t you dare talk like that. Leo!!! LEO!!!” No answer. Benji lifted his hand to her face. He felt her tears coming down her face. He coughed again.
“Penelope it’s ok. I’ll be alright. I’ll wait for you on the other side.”
“No! I won’t let you leave! I forbid you to leave me!! LEO!!!! LEO!!”

“Penelope, remember that I’ll always love you, no matter what.” Benji’s hand fell from her face as he let in his last breath. He then died. Penelope had tears streaming down her face. She started screaming.
“LEO!!! LEO!!!!” Leo had finally heard her cries and orbed to the Manor. He saw Penelope with Benji and he saw the three unconscious women on the floor. Penelope saw him. She got up and grabbed him by the collar. She pulled him to Benji.
“Heal him now!!!!” Leo got down and tried to heal Benji, but seeing as though he was already dead, it didn’t work. Leo got up and shook his head. Penelope got angry she pulled him down again.
“What are you doing? You have to heal him!!! Please Leo you have to heal him!!” She grabbed his shirt. Leo held her arms.
“I can’t! It’s too late. He’s already dead!”
“You didn’t listen to me!!! You ignored me! You let him die!!!!” Penelope started hitting Leo as hard as she could. Leo held her arms. Penelope tried hitting him. She was stricken with grief. She broke from Leo’s grasp and fell next to Benji. She held his lifeless body and was sobbing on his blood stained shirt. Leo went to go heal the others. Grams walked up to Penelope. She put her hand on her shoulder.
“I’m so sorry. I know how you feel.” Penelope got up and stood face to face with her. She spoke in a calm but hurtful manner.
“No you don’t. You’ll never know the pain I feel right now or the pain that I’ve felt all of these years. I will never forgive you. Just leave me alone. There is nothing that you can say that will heal my pain.” Grams was hurt.
“I just want to help you.”
“You should have thought of that before. Now it’s too late so get out of my sight. Let me have my moments with him unspoiled.” Grams decided that it was best that she did leave, so she disappeared in white lights. Penelope got back down next to Benji. Her tears fell on him. It wasn’t fair. He had come back to her only to be taken away from her again. She felt his hair.
“I should have done more to save you. I’m sorry.” Leo had finished healing the Sisters. They saw Penelope and Benji. Piper went to her and got down. Penelope turned and started crying on Piper’s shoulder. Phoebe and Paige just looked down in disbelief. They didn’t need an explanation. They just saw the scene before them and figured it out. Piper held on to Penelope. Penelope still cried. Benji’s body slowly disappeared. Penelope turned to see nothing there.
“He’s gone………..” Was all that she said…….

Chapter 13


Piper got up and went back to the Book Of Shadows. She was soon followed by Phoebe and Paige. Phoebe was the first to speak.
“So, what do we do now? I mean, the spell and potions didn’t work, they hardly even hurt him.” Piper looked uncertain about everything at the moment.
“I don’t know, but I don’t want to lose her, not so soon anyway. “ Piper turned to see Penelope. She was still kneeling and her face looked totally expressionless. She turned back to her sisters.
“We need to figure out how to vanquish him. We lost Prue to a demon, I’ll be damned if we lose her daughter as well.” Penelope walked up to the group.
“I know there is no other way, other than for me to vanquish him myself.” Her voice was as expressionless as her face.
“No, I won’t let you do something like this. We won’t let you sacrifice yourself for this low scum!!” Protested Paige. Penelope stood her ground.
“Look, you guys tried a Power Of Three spell, AND a very powerful potion, and neither one worked. The Book Of Shadows even says that the only way, he can be vanquished is if one of the demon children, the one with Charmed blood, will do it. I am one of the demon children, I have Charmed blood. There is no other way!”
“We won’t allow you to throw you life away! We don’t want to lose you. Especially, after only meeting you!” Cried Phoebe. The middle Halliwell, had tears in her eyes, as did Paige. Piper only had a blank look on her face. Too many people she loved died because of evil and Magic. She could not take it anymore. A silent tear rolled down her face. She walked up to her niece.
“Penelope, you are so much like your mother. Prue would do everything in her power to protect me and your aunt Phoebe. It cost her, her life. I lost my sister. I don’t want to lose her only child because of evil. Don’t sacrifice yourself. Please!”
“I have to Piper. Or else who knows how Malock will use his powers. I don’t want my cousins to be in too much danger! You and I both know, the ONLY way to vanquish him is if I do it!”
“No…. no. What kind of aunt would I be if I just let you give your life? I can’t let you go through with this.”
“You have no choice. I’m going to do this. I will rid this demon, I WILL show everyone once and for all, what I am made of! No one will ever look at me with disgust! I will find peace. If it means giving up my life, so be it.”
“You’re not thinking clearly. You’re under too much stress that it’s making you think crazy things. It’s making you think that the whole responsibility of the situation lies in your hands, but it doesn’t.” Leo stated in the background. Penelope glared at him.
“What does it matter to you anyway? It’s not like you care to even help out. Thanks for helping with Benji’s killing by the way.”
“Penelope, you don’t……” Leo tried to speak, but Penelope cut him off.
“Don’t try to explain, I don’t want to hear it. Just leave me be.” Penelope turned and walked up to Book Of Shadows. She started looking through the pages for Malock’s page. Leo stepped back. Piper went to him.
“I think you should go see how our kids are doing. Penelope doesn’t mean what she said.”
“I know, I know. Are you going to be alright over here?”
“We’ll be fine, and if we need you, we’ll call you.”
“Alright.” Leo touched Piper’s face, then orbed out. Piper went back to Penelope. She was still looking through the pages. She stopped and smiled.
“Found it.”
“I won’t allow you to do this.” Paige tried to grab the paper but Penelope stepped back.
“You have seen me use my powers, you know how strong I am with them. I don’t want to hurt you, but if I have to, I will.”
“Penelope, we love you, we don’t want you to give up your life for this. It’s unnecessary. We have fighting evil, for so long. We have beaten so many demons including the Source Of All Evil. I’m sure we can find a spell to vanquish another demon. You don’t have to take this whole mess on your shoulders. You don’t have to act like you’re not scared. It’s alright to be scared. We are your aunts. Let us help you.” Said Phoebe in a desperate attempt to make Penelope change her mind. But Penelope kept her eyes on the paper. She lifted her head to face her three aunts.
“Listen, I know your whole history. I’ve studied all of your demon killings. I know that you killed the Source. That was the news of the century down in the Underworld. I know what you are capable of, and what you’re not. This is something that you’re not capable of defeating. I know what I have to do. It’s for the better. It’s to give little Chris and Wyatt a better future. If you guys can’t kill Malock, who knows what he’ll do to your family! I can’t just sit back and watch a war with no ending. What if he ends up killing you? I already lost Benji to him, I don’t want to lose the only family that I have left. I’m not scared of dying, I never was. I know that I’ll see my mother again, and Benji. I’m not afraid, and you shouldn’t be either. I know what I’m doing, I know that this will cost me my life, and I’m alright with that. There is nothing you can say that will make me change my mind.” As soon as Penelope finished talking, Malock appeared. The three sisters formed a wall in front of Penelope. Piper tried blowing him up, it didn’t do much except push him back a few feet. Penelope moved away from the wall and telekinetically threw him across the room. Phoebe pulled Penelope back. Malock got up and shot energy balls at the sisters causing them to smash into the wall where they fell unconscious to the floor. Penelope ran to them.
“Damn it!!! I was afraid of this. Why couldn’t they listen to me?!” She felt their pulses. They were normal. She got up and stared at Malock. He walked up to her.
“You know, I could kill them right now, it would just be THAT easy.”
“Don’t even think about hurting them, you’ll have to go through me first.”
“Oh no! The little half breed is going to hurt me? I’m so scared. Please, I could crush like a little bug.” He threw Penelope against the wall telekinetically. She got up and threw several energy balls at him. He shot an energy ball back at her, but she re-directed it back to him, causing him to fly to the ceiling and hit the light, which electrocuted him. He fell down weakened by the blow. Penelope thought that this was the perfect time to destroy him once and for all. She took the paper and saw the small inscripture which was a spell that she was destined to use. It was in a language that had died out centuries ago. She read the spell once and Malock was lifted to the ceiling. She repeated it again and again and again. While she was chanting, light glowed all over the attic. She felt herself being lifted. She continued with the spell and felt her body weaken. She continued saying the spell. Piper slowly woke up and saw what was happening. She saw Penelope chanting a spell in a forgotten language and she saw the lights everywhere. Phoebe and Paige woke up right after her and they joined in the viewing. Penelope felt so weak and tried but she continued. The lights went into Malock and he started to scream in pain. He started to go up in flames. Penelope felt so tired but she said the spell over again she was yelling it out loud. Malock then blew up and was forever destroyed. Penelope fell to the floor, barely alive. She started to shake violently. Piper ran to her and lifted her head. She cradled the teenager in her arms. Paige and Phoebe joined her.
“Why did you go after him?” Said Piper with tears running down her face.
“I……had to….. he was…… gonna….kill…..you” She stared to cough. Piper shushed her. Phoebe started to call Leo. He arrived and went to Penelope. He tried to heal her, but nothing was happening.
“Why isn’t it working? Leo, why can’t you heal her?” Said Paige.
“I don’t know……”
“I do. It’s what meant to happen, she’s supposed to die. It’s her destiny.” Piper said, tears rolling down her face. Penelope’s breath fell ragged. She started to breathe less often. Piper still held her. She whispered into her ear.
“I swear to you right here and now, I won’t let you be forgotten. I won’t let you fade in the memories…. I promise you.”
“I’m….so..so..sorry……I….say…hi…to…mom…..Aunt Piper….” With that, Penelope closed her eyes and let in her last breath. Piper fell over her life-less body and cried. Phoebe and Paige joined around her and cried as well. Leo watched as tears fell down his check. He suddenly heard a laugh. He turned and saw three spirits. He smiled and told the sisters to look up. They looked up and were amazed. There was Penelope along with Prue and Benji. Penelope was smiling along with Prue and Benji. They saw Penelope embrace first Benji and then Prue. Penelope stepped forward.
“I’m not afraid. Not anymore. I have my peace. Don’t ever forget me. Blessed be.” Penelope blew them a kiss and then she joined Prue and Benji. They waved goodbye and disappeared in a show of bright white lights.

Epilogue

It has been about ten months since Malock’s vanquish, and I’m still getting used to being actually dead. Mom and Grandma have been trying to help me with the transition or whatever they want to call it. I call it Penelope’s State of Confusion. Anyway, to continue, after I vanquished Malock, and while Aunt Piper was holding me during my last seconds, I honestly did feel a little scared. I was afraid that the Elders wouldn’t let an ex-demon into the other side. I was afraid that I was going to end up in that other horrible place I had heard of. Just before I closed my eyes, I saw my mother. She was smiling and that’s when I told Aunt Piper that I would say Hi to my mom for her. I felt so tired after that, that I closed my eyes for a little while and as soon as I did, I felt my mom pull me somewhere I took a deep breath and when I opened my eyes I was a spirit. It felt so weird seeing my dead body and my family crying. I turned and saw my mom smiling. I turned and Benji was there too. I was so happy that I started laughing and ran to him. Then I saw Leo turn his head towards us. Apparently, we were visible and Leo had heard me laughing. He got the Sisters to turn around and they suddenly smiled at me. I hugged Benji and my mother then I went to speak to them one last time. I told them that I wasn’t afraid anymore, that I was safe. I said good bye and re-joined Benji and my mom. We waved a final goodbye and then the weirdest thing. I felt like I was shimmering, but not exactly. It’s pretty complicated; I’d better not try to explain it. Anyway, as soon as we got to the other side, we were immediately summoned by the Council of Elders. They started yelling and saying that I didn’t belong there. They stated that I am a half demon and had followed to road of evil all of my life, and therefore should be treated as one in life and in death. They wanted to send me to the Wasteland. Benji as well. My mother started giving the Council a whole mouthful. She told them all of my good deeds. What I did when I was in the cell with baby Chris. When I defended the Sisters. Not to mention sacrificing myself so that the children would be able to have some more peace in their already hectic lives. Mom exclaimed that not only did I deserve this entry, but that I also deserved to be a Whitelighter. Then she went on to explain that I wasn’t aware of my full roots and that I was only a child when I started to practice evil. That one statement made the Elders ponder. They said that mom gave well thought out arguments about my situation and that they would consider, but then they turned to Benji. He was also half demon and he had done so many evil deeds within his life time. This was when I stepped up to defend Benji’s character. I explained that Benji and I were the same type of half demons. We were both under the control (although mine was less known of) of Malock. I also stated that Benji was a demon because of the same consequences that I was a demon. I mentioned that Benji also sacrificed himself to save my life and if he hadn’t, then I wouldn’t have been able to vanquish Malock and he might have killed my aunts. The Elders spoke to one another for a minute. They told me and Benji to leave. They would come to a final decision in the near future. They told me and Benji to wait in Limbo. They would summon us when the verdict was decided on. My mom started crying. Apparently in Limbo, I would not have contact with my mother or anyone else on that side, but I would be able to stick around on Earth, but the people living on Earth wouldn’t be able to have contact with me. As soon as the Head Elder hit the hammer thingy (that thing that judges have), I found my self in a dark, dead looking room, that looked like a dead garden. I turned my head and Benji was there with me. I grabbed his hand because I was frightened. He just held me and whispered over and over again that no matter what happened, he would always love me. I told him that if he wasn’t welcome, then I wouldn’t want to stay. We then decided to look around. I spotted a sort of door. I was curious so I opened it. I saw the Manor attic. I gasped and was sucked right in. Benji was wondering around, so he didn’t see me get pulled in. I got up and was in the attic. I went to a mirror but I was transparent. I was a spirit. The Elders were right. I could be able to see the ones on earth, but they couldn’t see me. I walked down stairs and saw Piper and Leo arguing. Piper looked really upset about something. I walked along and spotted Paige in a black robe. I went into Chris’s room and I saw him awake and looking like he was about to cry. I touched his head and he just stopped. I took my hand out of the crib. He then started to scream. I saw Piper and Leo rush in. I wanted to hug them, but I remembered that I was only a spirit. Piper picked up Chris and started to rock him back and forth. Leo left the room, and Piper tried to put Chris back to bed. She sat down with Chris on the rocking chair, and she did put tears to my eyes. She started telling Chris about me. About what I did and who I was. What amazed me was that, that one story made him calm down. Piper placed Chris back in his crib. I saw her smile. I touched her shoulder, then I saw turn to my direction and looking confused. I guess she felt my presence. That’s when I was pulled back into Limbo. I fell onto my knees and Benji ran to me and helped me up. I was telling him everything that I saw and what I had heard. He smiled and we hugged. The whole time that we were stuck in Limbo, we would visit the Sisters as often as we could. We were stuck in limbo for another 3 months. One day, I saw my mother arrive in Limbo and she said that the time had come. We were to go to the Council of Elders to receive our finale verdict. The tension in the room was intense. I looked around and I saw a group of people watching in anxiety. I asked my mother who they were. She told me that they were my ancestors. I also asked my mother if she knew anything about the verdict. She said that she knew as much as I did. The Elders talked about how long they’ve argued both sides of both our stories and how long they’ve tried to reach a decision that would be for the best interest of Good. I honestly didn’t want to hear it. All I was interested in was whether or not Benji and I could stay there. After the Head Elder’s long speech, he announced that we would both be allowed to stay, but we both would have every one of our moves watched over by them. If we did one small mistake, we would be sent straight to the Wasteland. When they decided that we were good enough to be living with them without fear, they would let us be free to exist with my ancestors in peace. I smiled and hugged Benji. I then ran to my mother and she held me in joy. The Head Elder explained that they weren’t too sure at first that they wanted us to stay, but someone had spoken on our behalf and caused them to re-think their reasoning. When I asked who that was, my Great-Grandmother stepped forward from the group of ancestors and explained that it was her how spoke on Benji’s and my behalves. I looked at her and thanked her. My anger and hatred towards her started to fade away. As time went by, the Elders saw me more and more as a good person and the same for Benji. Benji and I grew more and more in love. We wanted to be joined together. I asked my mother if that was possible. She told me that she honestly didn’t know. We talked to my Great-Grandmother (who I now call Grams) and my Grandmother (who I call Grandma) and they said that it could happen but we would need the consent of the Elders. Benji and I pleaded our case, and seeing as how wonderful we’ve been they granted us the permission to unite. Benji and I had a small ceremony and we were forever joined. I can see the others on Earth, and just like they promised, they are keeping my memory alive. I have never been happier. I am finally loved, I finally have a family, and I finally have a home. This is where my story ends. Actually, it may seem like an ending, but for me it is the beginning. The beginning of a whole new part of my existence.
