This is my first fanfic and I hope you like it!
Ever wonder what happened to the future? Did Chris really set it right or did her fail? I decided I would answer that question. Be warned: This might be confusing because I will switch back and forth from the present to the future but I will warn you when I switch.
“Phoebe? Can you baby-sit the boys for me while I’m at the club?” Piper asked her sister as she put on a light jacket in the entry way.
“Can’t Paige do it?” Phoebe asked wanting to go into the office to do her article for once.
“She’s at Magic School. The band blew a fuse out at the club and now they need me for some reason,” Piper explained tiredly. Taking care of two babies and running a club was getting to her.
“Fine...but you owe me big,” Phoebe answered with a sigh.
“Thanks, I just fed Chris and put him down for nap. Wyatt will need a nap soon too,” Piper instructed as she went out the front door. Phoebe then walked up to the nursery where she was greeted by Wyatt.
“Story!” Wyatt said in a baby voice holding up his favorite book.
“Ok,” Phoebe answered picking up Wyatt and walking over to the rocking chair. “But we must be very, very quiet!” Phoebe told Wyatt seeing as Chris was napping nearby.
“’K,” Wyatt said smiling. Phoebe smiled back and started reading the story. She was about half way done with it when Wyatt fell asleep. Phoebe carefully picked him up and put him in his own crib. She then started to put the book away when Chris started fussing. Oh no…don’t wake up your brother Phoebe thought as she rushed over to comfort Chris. As soon as she picked him up she got a flash:
Phoebe saw herself up in the attic in the afternoon. A familiar portal opens up and out steps grown up Chris. The two of them talk quickly. Phoebe shakes her head in refusal and then Chris grabs her and pulls her through the portal.
Phoebe got out of her premonition and looked at Chris. What could he want from me? Phoebe wondered and she walked and rocked with baby Chris. Soon he fell back asleep. Then Phoebe grabbed a baby monitor and went down to the living room to see if anything was on TV. But as soon as she started down the stairs she heard a loud thud from the attic. “The boys,” She muttered as she ran back upstairs to the attic.
Phoebe opened the attic door to find a demon trying to get to the book. “Hey!!” Phoebe yelled at it as she charged in and attacked the demon with a kick to its chest. The demon went crashing into the wall and then sank to the ground. Phoebe then grabbed a random bottle of potion hoping it would vanquish him. She threw it at the demon and it was immediately was vanquished in a burst of flames.
Phoebe then went straight to the book to see what demon it was. She opened it up and started looking through it. Phoebe searched for awhile before looking up. She felt like something was going to happen, something major. Phoebe then heard Chris crying on the baby monitor. “I’m coming,” Phoebe said picking up the monitor and started heading downstairs.
Then a portal opened up. “Oh no…” Phoebe said with her eyes wide. She then saw Chris. Grown up Chris not cute and cuddly, though sometimes smelly, baby Chris. “Aunt Phoebe,” Chris said after looking around the attic and then continued, “You need to come with me.”
“Why?” Phoebe asked fighting back tears that were trying to come to the surface.
“I need you to help us change the future,” Chris answered impatiently while he glanced at the portal.
“Is Wyatt still evil?” Phoebe asked worried. She thought Chris had changed that.
“Yes. Wait, how do you know that?” Chris asked confused. He thought he would be the first one coming back. He came back to tell one of her aunts or his mother to come with him.
“You…I mean I had a premonition of it,” Phoebe lied. She figured she wouldn’t tell him anything yet.
“Whatever, come on. We have to go before the portal closes,” Chris said looking at the portal again.
Phoebe shook her head and said, “No, I can’t leave Wyatt and little you alone.” The portal then started closing slowly.
“Come on, Mom will be home soon anyway. And Leo would sense them,” Chris said grabbing Phoebe’s elbow and dragging her into the portal just as it closed.
The Future
“Chris! Let go of me...I’m...not...going to the future,” Phoebe said looking around in amazement. It was the same old attic but outside was different.
“Wow! It’s so pretty,” Phoebe said amazed at how green her neighbor’s yards were and how blue the sky was. There was no way Wyatt was evil in this world.
“Look to the east now,” Chris instructed.
“Ok,” Phoebe said looking that way. Her eyes got huge. It was like some movie. The skies were gray and it was lightning ever few seconds. It looked like a movie.
“That’s where Wyatt is,” Chris explained. Phoebe shook her head slowly in disbelief. Phoebe opened her mouth to asked a question but then the attic door opened.
“Chris! There you are. Aunt Piper is wondering if you are staying for dinner. Who’s that?” A teenage girl that looked like Phoebe asked. “She looks like Mom. Only a lot younger,” The girl added.
“That’s because it is Aunt Phoebe. Only 20 years younger,” Chris explained.
The girl looked and Chris for a moment and the scolded, “Chris!! Aunt Piper is going to kill you! Bring you back to life and then kill you again! You don’t know how dangerous time traveling is!” She then put a hand on her hip. She then got that this strange woman that looked like her mother was her mother.
“Mel, I had it under control,” Chris said. “I’m going downstairs,” he added ended the discussion.
“Hello! Chris, what about me? Why did you bring me here?” Phoebe asked confused. He had to have brought her here for a reason and Phoebe wanted to know now.
“Oh, sorry. I brought you here because I think the Power of Four could overpower Wyatt,” Chris explained like it was so simple.
“Overpower, as in kill?” Phoebe asked. She wouldn’t or couldn’t kill her own nephew.
“If it comes to that,” Chris answered easily.
“Chris! Mom wouldn’t ever agree to that,” Melinda said finally coming out of the shock of seeing her mom 20 years younger.
“She’s right! I won’t,” Phoebe answered. “Neither one of me will,” Phoebe added quickly.
“Chris!! Melinda!! Time for dinner!” A voice yelled from downstairs.
“Come on, we can talk about this over dinner,” Chris said walking out of the attic. Melinda stood there and then followed.
“Christopher Perry Halliwell! Get your butt back up here and explain!” Phoebe said angry. But she was too late because he was already downstairs.
