Two weeks later...
Keera walked down an alley two blocks away from the Bay Mirror. She was getting restless just sitting there in the old office building. That was pretty much all they had been doing the last couple of weeks. Melinda was all about keeping everyone safe, but the way Keera looked at it, as long as Wyatt was still in charge no one was safe. It would only be a matter of time before he figured out where they were all hiding and then he'd attack and murder every last one of them. Except maybe Melinda. That was one thing the girl had going for her. Wyatt had some kind of weakness toward her.
She then turned abruptly as she heard a crash behind her. Keera quickly pulled a throwing star from her pocket and charged it with energy. After seeing a cat immerge from the area the sound came from, she took a deep breath and kept on walking. What am I doing out here, she thought. It was pretty stupid of her to go out in the middle of the night all by herself. It was just so irrating being in that place twenty four seven.
Keera heard another crash and this time threw her throwing star with a snap of her arm. A dark figure then cursed and revealed itself to her.
"Good shot, but unfortunately the only thing it accomplished was pissing me off." said Xona as she walked closer to Keera in a revealing leather outfit.
Keera rolled her eyes at the demon. "One lonely demon isn't going to do jack sh!t against me."
Just then ten more assassins shimmered into the alleyway, surrounding the lone witch in the center. Just great, Keera thought to herself. She had no idea how she was going to get out of this one.
"Where's Melinda hiding the rest of the witches? If you tell us we'll let you go." Xona tried to bargain.
"Right, this coming from the Source's head assassin." retorted Keera folding her hands across her back.
"Try Queen of the Underworld!" shouted a green demon to her left.
Xona, with great anger, hurled a pulsing energy ball at the demon and vanquished it on the spot. Demons could be so stupid sometimes.
"Tell us now, or we kill you." threatened the Queen of the Underworld.
Just then a dark figure jumped from the rooftops and landed in front of Xona. Turning around to face the demon the person said, "Sorry, but that's not going to happen."
Melinda Halliwell looked around the alley in satisfaction. She now had information that she could use to her advantage, but first she had to kill the load of demons surrounding her. It was an odd situation. They demons just kind of stood there, like nothing was going wrong.
"I don't have time to kill all of you right now, but don't worry the time will come." Melinda said before unloading a wave of telepathic screeches on the demons. They all fell to their knees and covered their ears.
She then grabbed Keera's wrist and led her out of the alleyway and the two of them sprinted as fast as they could down the road. They kept running and running, just trying to get away from the demons. They ran so far that it was almost twenty minutes before the realized they were going the opposite way of the Bay Mirror.
"Lets call for one of the whitelighters." suggestion Keera out of breath.
Melinda nodded, also catching hers. "Jack!!" she shouted loudly. They waited for the familiar shimmering whitelights to appear, but nothing happened. Mel repeatedly called him, but with no success.
"Why isn't it working?" asked Keera with a worried expression her face. This wasn't good.
Just then Xona shimmered into the street a few feet ahead of them. She smiled, everything was going just as she and Wyatt had planned.
"Like Wyatt's little anti-sensing spell." the demon said grinning maliciously, "He also had fun making the girl want to leave the hideout...though for some reason he couldn't figure out where you actually were. That doesn't matter though because we got what we wanted."
Mel cursed under her breath. It was a trap, the whole damn thing was a trap and now they were in deep trouble.
"Exactly what is it you want?" asked Mel angrily.
"Time will tell witch." Xona replied and shot Melinda with a blast of energy. Then, while she was on the ground the demon snatched Keera and shimmered off. Now, the had bait.
Moments later Melinda got up off the ground. She started to sprint full speed to the Bay Mirror, there was no telling how much longer they would keep Keera alive and she wasn't about to let her friend die. They were going to rescue her, no matter what.

Melinda barged through the doors to the Bay Mirror and watched several magical beings jump up from their beds on the floor. She rushed past them and headed into her mother's old office, where her and Harrison had been sleeping.
Stopping at Harrison's side, she shook him awake with two hands. He jolted upward and looked up at her.
"What is it?" he asked rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"Wyatt has Keera, we have to go now. We have to rescue her." hurried Melinda pulling him out off the couch.
"Just you and me?" asked Harrison with wide eyes.
"No, we're taking a few others, but not everyone. We can't risk too many people dying." she explained as she led the way out into the main office where almost everyone was awake and waiting for an explanation.
"Keera has been captured by Wyatt and Xona who is now his queen. I'm not going to let him kill her, even if this is a trap. We are strong enough to get in there and get Keera then come back. Who's with me?" Mel asked the onlooking people.
A few witches, and one whitelighter raised his hand. It was a small group, but it would work. Deciding that they better act quick, Mel instructed them to get some vanquishing potions and weapons ready. Minutes later, the small batallion faced her and she waited for Harrison and Jack to orb them to Wyatt's lair.
Wyatt watched as his cousin and the other witches appeared in his cavern. This was just too good to be true. He had been exactly right when he had guessed that Melinda would not let her friend die. That was her weakness, being too kind. Fortunately, it was a weakness that he could use to his advantage.
"Well, look who stopped by!" exclaimed Wyatt in mock surprise.
"Where's Keera?" asked Meilnda with a strong expression on her face.
"Don't worry, your friend is alright." Wyatt then motioned for one of his assassins to bring the witch in. A few demons shimmered in with Keera tied and gagged. Wyatt smiled at the scene.
"What do you want?" questioned Mel looking at her friend who was obviously in a great amount of pain.
"I want revenge." he said simply. "Did you think that you could permanently wipe my memory? Did you really think that you could outsmart me Melinda? I thought you were stronger than that." and with that Wyatt orbed an atham into Keera's stomach.
"No!!" Melinda shouted as she watched Keera slip to the ground as her life force died out.
"There are consequences for trying to smite me, and I think you've forgotten that little cuz. Now, I think its time I make you remember!" He shouted before throwing the small band of witches back with a telekinetic wave.
Melinda hit the ground with a thud and tears slipped down her face. She silently moarned her friend before standing and facing her older cousin. "You bastard!" she shouted before shooting pink bolts of psionic energy at Wyatt.
Wyatt was thrown backward by the surging energy, but quickly recovered. "Looks like going to the Plane of the d**ned helped you Mel...too bad its not enough." he said before shooting her with his own dose of electricity.
Harrison stood up and watched the two of them fight. He knew Melinda wouldn't be able to last long against Wyatt, so he had to do something. He hurriedly, told the whitelighter to get the rest of the witches out. The assassins on the other side of the room figured out what he was doing and made their way over him.
Again, feeling something sacred inside him, Harrison scorched the demons with an immense blast of heat and flames. After they were taken care of, he looked over at the fight between Mel and Wyatt.
Melinda got up shakily from her knees. Her clothes were scorched in various places, yet she still fought on. The pain was almost unbearable, but she didn't care.
"Lets make this fun!" shrilled Wyatt as he orbed them all to the Halliwell Manor Museum...
Wyatt knew what he had to do now, he had to make sure the Prohpecy didn't come to pass, and he was going to do it in the most painful way possible. Melinda was fading fast, but it wasn't her that was his target right now.
Angrily, Melinda launched herself into the air and dove at Wyatt. She managed to land on top of him and started laying into him with a few punches. It was only a matter of second, though, before he through her off and she hit the wall with a thud.
"Do you still remember the day they died Mel? I do....hey isn't this the room that your mother died in?" teased Wyatt putting his plan in full swing. "All the pain that's happened in this room...." he said. He quickly turned and formed a large fireball that he thew at her.
Harrison watched the ball of flames fly through the air at the love of his life. Knowing he could never let anything happen to her, Harrison dove through the air and into the path of the lethal fireball. Upon contact, he was forced backward onto the stairway.
Melinda watched in shock as Harrison flew across the room. "No!!!!" she shouted and dove over to him.
When she got to him she saw something that broke her heart. Harrison's chest was completely burnt and he was on the verge of death. Mel could see there was still some life left in him though.
Wyatt laughed evilly. He knew Harrison would save Melinda, and now his job was done. The Prophecy was broken, and his reign of evil could never be defeated. There was no one that would stop him now.
"To think that so much pain could exist in one room.." whispered Wyatt into her ear before orbing away.
"Harrison...talk to me...don't go!" she cried as tears welled up in her eyes.
Harrison was finding it hard to speak, "Mel...I..love....love you." he managed, slurring his words. He tried to smile at her but it hurt so much.
"No..you can't leave me! I can't go on without you Harrison! Do you hear me?!! I love you! You can't go!!!!" Mel cried and then kissed him.
"Stay..strong....I believe...in you." said Harrison and Melinda watched as the light in his eyes slowly faded.
"NO!!!" cried the broken Halliwell loudly. Everything that was good in her life was now gone. The reason she fought on everyday had been taken away from her and she was on the verge of losing it. Melinda couldn't go on like this...not without Harrison.
Just then Harrison's eyes lit up with a bright light and his whole body became enveloped in flames. Melinda watched in disbelief as Harrison's corpse burnt away into ashes.
The pain she felt was unbearable, not to mention the physical wounds she had. Tears slid down her face, non stop, breaking the image of the strong hero that she had been putting forth. The girl that sat on the hardwood floor of the manor was no longer that, if anyone had seen Melinda sitting there next to Harrison's body all they would've seen was a shattered young woman.
That ends Part Three but there will be the finale, Part 4, added soon.

~ Okay, I'm starting the Finale in this post. It will be a fewposts long, so this right here isn't all of it. Thanks for all the reviews and compliments! They were well appreciated! On with the story...~
Part 4 Tomorrow's Prophecy
Melinda walked slowly down the darkened and dirty streets of downtown San Francisco with out any purpose. She had lost track of time, wandering for hours since Harrison had been murdered. Now she wondered how she would make it through the day, and the many more to come. Harrison was her everything, her lover, her friend, her partner, and without him the world seemed wrong. She could still feel his blood on her hands. Though that was solid proof that he really was gone, Mel couldn't find the strength to accept it. There was the saying, 'at least he's in a better place', but that wasn't anything that could make her feel better about what that monster had done to him.
He had done it because of her. It was her fault that Harrison was dead, and that tore her apart inside. Wyatt had killed him because he knew that Harrison was the one person in her life that meant more to her than anything else. To know that the reason the man she loved was dead was because of her was something that could put a person into a deep depression, and Melinda was heading in that direction. She felt pain, even though all of her wounds were minor cuts. It was a different kind of pain. A pain that makes you feel like you're shattered.
Mel's mind started to wander to memories of times when she had been happy. When her mother was alive, and Harrison, and Wyatt wasn't evil. Tears streamed from her eyes as she walked down the sidewalk with a blank look on her face. There had to be a way to get away from all of the pain she was feeling. A spell, or something, anything to make it go away. She knew the consequences of personal gain, but quite frankly she didn't really care at this point. There was no one left in this time could understand what she was going through.
Then it came to her. In this time there wasn't anyone was that could understand how she was feeling, but in the past there was. Chris was still there trying to change everything, and she was going to join him. There was no reason why she could escape from it all, he had. He needed to get away from all the pain and he had managed it. Now it was her turn to leave this hell on earth.
And with that the shattered witch broke into a run and headed the opposite direction to the Bay Mirror. She needed to get the spell from her book, and then it would be time for her to escape. Or so she thought.
Melinda walked slowly into the lobby of the Bay Mirror. Upon her entrance, different people around the room stood up and waited for her to say something. She just looked at them for a moment, not knowing what to say to them. The witches that Harrison had sent back had obviously told them that Keera had been murdered, but no one knew about Harrison yet.
"What?" she asked to Chad who was staring at her in anger.
"Just wanted to congradulate you on a wonderful job attacking Wyatt." Chad replied the anger showing his is dark eyes.
"Don't talk about things that you don't understand." snapped Melinda now furious.
"I understand it perfectly! You thought you were stronger than you really are and decided to attack the Source of All Evil!" shouted Chad.
Melinda turned and snapped her leg out at him and pinned him against the wall with her foot. She stared at him, a look of hysteria on her face. "The one thing in my life that mattered is gone. There's nothing to keep me from shutting you up for good."
The young witch's demeanor changed as it he figured out what she was talking about, and not to mention the fact that he was scared out of his mind. Though he didn't think she was strong enough to take on Wyatt, Chad would never want to put himself against her.
Beta then walked up and placed a hand on Melinda's shoulder. The Elder then said, "Melinda, I'm sorry about Harrison, but you know this is not the way."
Mel got back on both feet and looked at her with tears in her eyes. "Thank you for everything." she said before turning and walking into her mother's old office. She opened a few droors in the desk before finding the book she was looking for. Walking back into the lobby, she flipped through the pages to find the spell she needed.
"What're you doing dear?" asked Beta as she looked at the witch with a questioning appearance.
"I'm going back in time." answered Melinda and a series of gasps could be heard around the room. "You're all free to go, but I think it would be safer for all of you if you didn't" she said still not looking up from her spell book.
"How Dare You!" shouted Remus as he stepped forward from the other Elders in the room. "You brought all together with a promise that you would lead, and now one bad thing happens and you quit?"
"That one bad thing was the man I love!" shouted Melinda and telepathic rings shot out with her yell and broke things around the lobby.
"Get out of my sight." said Remus with disgust.
"Gladly." said Melinda as she turned on her heel and walked out of the room. She walked with speed toward the Halliwell manor.
Melinda stood in the attic, drawing a triquetra on the wall with white chalk. It was almost time for her to perform the spell. She didn't know if going back would help her deal with her pain, but the way she pictured it was any place was better than where she was.
"Hear these words, hear the rhyme Heed the hope within my mind. Send me back to where I'll find What I wish in place and time." she chanted and a blue portal where the triquetra was on the wall.
She closed the book and stuffed it inside of her denim jacket. It was now or never. Melinda walked forward and stepped into the portal that would lead her to a time where her mother was still alive and her existence wasn't known yet.
Chris stood at the Book of Shadows, looking for a demon that could be a link to Wyatt's turning. He had the sisters demon hunting non-stop, and he needed to find another demon for them to vanquish. The future depended on it. Though Bianca didn't exist in that future anymore, there were still people that did. Melinda being the most important. He wished he could talk to her, find you she was safe and still fighting the good fight.
Just then a portal appeared on the wall across the room, and Chris jumped caught off guard by the sudden magical energy. His heart was in his throat, hoping to god that his older brother would not walk through the portal. He had worked so hard, and to have it all be for nothing was something he couldn't deal with. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw his little cousin, Melinda Halliwell walk though the portal.
"Mel." said Chris before running to her and wrapping his arms around her. He had missed her so much, and now he was finally getting the chance to tell her how much he wished he could be there for her.
"Chris, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean those things I said. I was just mad because you were leaving. I don't hate you." rambled Melinda as she embraced her cousin.
"I know, I know. Its okay Mel, don't worry about it." Chris consoled her, glad that she was here, then knowing that she couldn't stay. "Why'd you come?"
Tears ran down her face as she said, "He's gone Chris. Wyatt killed Harrison."
Chris' jaw dropped as she said this. He knew how close the two of them were, and they must've gotten much closer after he had left. He didn't know what to saw to her. "Mel, I'm so sorry."
Melinda started to cry and Chris walked up to her and hugged her tightly. She had really loved Harrison, just like he had loved Bianca. He knew exactly what she was feeling, and he wished that he had the time to help her get through this.
"I'm staying here. I can't deal with it anymore. I got the Council back together, so they don't need me. I can't go back there." said Melinda to him.
"Mel, you can't..."
Just then a voice rang out throughout the manor, "Chris! I need you to watch Wyatt while I bring my column to the office!!"
Melinda's head shot up as she heard the voice. "Chris! Its her...oh god. I need to see her!" she cried as she ran to the doorway.
Chris orbed out and reappeared in front of her. "I'm sorry, but you can't. Without you to protect them, the others will die. If you go see her now then you won't be able to go back, and I can't allow that." he said with evident sadness on her face.
"No, I have to!! I CAN'T GO BACK!!!!" she shouted and Chris covered her mouth.
He put his arms around her and orbed in front of the portal. "I'm sorry." he said hating himself as he gently pushed her back into the portal and it closed.
