The evil grin that Wyatt always flashed was yet again on his face when his body materialized in the warehouse in front of the Council. Never in her life had Melinda been so happy to see that grin in front of her. She was confident that they could beat him; they had everything going their way. It was only a matter of time before their plan succeeded and Wyatt was stopped for good. That thought put a smile to her face.

“Hey Mel, are you ready to die?” Wyatt asked, “Because this time I’m not letting anything stop me. Including your little birdie lover.”<br>
Melinda stepped forward so she was only inches away from her cousin’s face. “I’m going to stop you.” She said before backhanding him with telekinesis. She watched as his body flew through the air and landed right where she had wanted him to, in her trap.

The Elders moved in next to her and brought up their arms. Swirling orbs appeared and formed a barrier in front of Wyatt. The fairies shot up into the air and started circling the Twice Blessed Source and adding their magic to the magical cage. Eva and the Leprechauns joined in and the entrapment was secured. He would get out eventually, but this would give Melinda the time she needed to do what needed to be done to weaken him. It would anger him beyond belief, that she knew, but it would also cripple him. The pain would be too much for him to deal with, and that was how she would succeed.

“Unholy demon I call you here, I’m without doubt and without fear. Come to me now so he will see, his worst fear played out by me.” Chanted Melinda and Xona appeared in a burst of bright white light.

The Queen of the Underworld looked around, unsure of how she had gotten into the warehouse. Her question was answered before she asked as she saw Melinda standing in front of her and Wyatt in some sort of magical cage. A deep rage filled her, and she wanted to kill the witch on the spot. “How dare you trap the Source. Now you will feel the wrath of the King and his Queen!”<br>
“Bored now.” Yawned Melinda as she zapped the demon with a jolt of psionic energy that sent her sprawling on the floor.

Xona stood up angrily and created a high voltage energy ball that she hurled at Melinda. The witch dodged the attack and countered with a telekinetic blow. The Queen again found herself hurled backwards. Wyatt had not been lying when he had told her that the witch had gotten stronger, but she hadn’t expected this.

“You’re strong, but not strong enough witch.” Xona shouted, her dark eyes showing doubt.

“You don’t sound too confident Xona.” Replied Melinda before levitating into the air and snapping a kick at the demon.

Xona blocked the kick and retaliated with shockwave that brought Melinda back to the ground. She created a thermal blast that she threw at her, and Mel tumbled to the floor as some of her skin sizzled. Xona was then surprised as the witch stood back up, as though nothing had happened. This shot a pang of fear throughout her body. The demons’ confidence was gone, and she knew that she had lost the fight. Melinda was much stronger now and would easily vanquish the Queen.

Wyatt watched in disbelief as he saw his Queen losing the fight. Melinda had summoned him here so that he could watch Xona die. He could let her do this; Xona was the one person that he loved though he would never admit that. He may have turned evil, but evil can love too. He opened his palms and shot bolts of magical electricity at the cage wall, trying desperately to break it. He didn’t have any luck.

“It was nice to know you, well not really but we can pretend.” Melinda said. Swinging her hand, she sent Xona flying backwards and started to recite a spell.

“Unholy demon its time to go, I hope your lover enjoyed the show. With this rhyme I vanquish thee, cry out in fear so Wyatt will see!” Melinda chanted and Xona disintegrated in a sonic blast of flames. She turned and saw the fury on her cousin’s face.

“YOU’LL PAY!” the Source shouted from his magical jail cell.

“Go! We’ll hold them off!!” shouted Remus as a cluster of demon assassins shimmered in.

“Let the eye of Waffideok watch over you sister witch!” shouted Eva from her location a few yards away. Melinda smiled back at her.

Melinda knew she didn’t have much longer, so she called Harrison. He appeared in front of her moments later and heat teleported them to the Halliwell Manor Museum. It was time to end this for good.






Harrison and Melinda reappeared in her aunt Piper’s old room at the manor. There were crystals blocking the doorway from intruders. Harrison had prepared the room for the next part of their plan while Melinda had vanquished Xona and trapped Wyatt. He wasn’t exactly sure if the Elders would be able to hold him much longer though.

“Everything going accordingly?” asked Harrison with a worried expression on his face.

“So far, so good. How’s everything here?” she asked as she silently went over everything in her head again. Everything had to be perfect or none of this was going to work. It was a very precise matter and couldn’t be dealt with lightly.

“We’re all set. Now all we have to do is wait.” He answered her. Harrison looked at her slightly. They hadn’t really had any time to talk since he had come back. He had never really gotten to tell her that he was glad to be back with her again.

“I know Harr.” Said Melinda. She had read his mind and knew how he was feeling. “You don’t know how glad I am to have you standing here next to me right now. I know you’d be with me when the end came.”<br>
“This isn’t the end Mel…” Harrison said to her as he took her hand in his.

“We don’t know that. Things won’t be the same; we might not be the same. I don’t want you to leave me again. I wouldn’t be able to deal with that; even if I don’t remember you I’d still feel wrong. You’re everything to me.” Said Melinda as she hugged him close.

“Don’t be afraid. We’ll always be together, no matter what. You weren’t afraid to love me and because of that we’re going to save the world. Our love will last forever.” He assured her. Harrison was interrupted though, as a dying Chris appeared in the bed beside her.

“Chris!” said Melinda as she ran to his side.

Blood leaked out the side of his mouth as the Angel of Time looked upon his little cousin in disbelief. He thought this was the end, and the fact that he saw Harrison made him think he was hallucinating. Melinda had came back to the past and told him that Harrison was dead.

“Gideon..” sputtered Chris painfully.

“Harrison, Phoenix time!!” shouted Melinda. She watched Harrison’s form change into that of the legendary bird of the flames.

The Phoenix flew onto Chris and cried on his wound. The healing elixir in his tears healed the stab wound within seconds. The bird flew back to the floor before changing back into Harrison. He had gotten pretty good at being able to change at will.

Chris’ eyes got wide. “How? What’s going on?” he asked still sore from his almost death.

“There’s a prophecy Chris. All the things that you’ve accomplished in the past can come true. All we have to do is recite a spell that I wrote. Did you figure out who changed Wyatt and stop them?” asked Melinda hoping with all her heart that he had.

“Yeah, it was Gideon. Now, what about a prophecy?” asked Chris at a complete loss of what was going on.

“None of the things you changed will come to pass unless the three of us say a spell. Me, the Seer of Love, Harrison, the Phoenix, and you, the Angel of Time.” Explained Melinda as the manor shook with a seismic shock.

“Wyatt.” Said Harrison as the door was thrown off the hinges. Wyatt tried to enter the room, but the crystal barrier kept him from doing so.

“MELINDA!” shouted Wyatt and then he saw Chris. “GOOD, NOW I CAN KILL BOTH OF YOU!”<br>
“We don’t have much time. Take my hand.” She ordered as Harrison and Chris each took one.

“In this night and in this hour, We call upon the ancient power. With the power of our rhyme, change the events that effect our time. In this world we no longer hide, bring us to A Different Side!” the three of them chanted. The room was filled with a bright blinding light and Melinda blacked out.







As the blinding light dissipated, Melinda found herself in a bed. She pulled the covers off of herself and quickly jumped off of the mattress. Where was she? This looked like her old room, wait, it was her old room. How could that be? She didn’t live at the manor anymore, and she hadn’t for a long time. She must’ve slept walked there or something….or had her spell worked?

Melinda opened the door quietly and walked down the hall, all the while keeping a close eye out for anyone or anything.

“Melinda?!” called an all too familiar voice from the stairway. The woman walked up and stood in front of her with a warm smile on her face. “Sweetie, hurry up you’re going to be late for dinner.”<br>
“Mom?” asked Melinda in disbelief. “What dinner?”<br>
“Your and Harrison’s engagement dinner silly. Chris and Wyatt are downstairs setting the table. Your aunts and I put together quite the meal….well okay aunt Piper did most of it, but I helped.” Said Phoebe Halliwell with the same old smile.

“It’s really you.” Whispered Melinda as she looked at her mother.

“Of course it is. Are you okay honey?” Phoebe asked with a raised eyebrow.

Melinda smiled as the old memories of the old dark world faded away and were replaced by the new happy ones she and Chris and Harrison had created. “Yeah, everything’s perfect.”<br>
