Chapter One: Prue Calling

The future, 2026, in San Francisco, CA. A dark storm has brewn over the city, and showered it with lightning and rain. Somewhere deep in a woodsy area, is a cave. Deep inside the cave is a light, glowing softly from a body lying on the ground. A female body, unmoving, lay there.

CUT TO:

Piper and Phoebe are sitting together in Piper and Leo's house. A two story house with blue siding and white trim. Small trees and a flower garden of Daffodils adorn the front lawn. Leo, Wyatt, and Chris are at the movies.

Phoebe talks with Piper.

Phoebe: "You OK?"
Piper: "Yeah, I will be." Tears streak down Piper's face.
Phoebe: "Every year, you cry. I miss Prue too. I have for all these years. I mean, the Elders never even let us see her. I've tried to conjure her spirit millions of times, but nothing."
Piper: "You too? I do it every year on her birthday and death day."
Phoebe: "Maybe this year we could do it together. Just for the sake of our mourning."
Piper: "Yeah, maybe. What about Paige?"
Phoebe: "Paige too. I'll call her." Phoebe gets up to call Paige. Paige picks up the other line.

On Phone...
Paige: "Hello?"
Phoebe: "Paige, it's Phoeb. We need you. But this time we need you to orb here. It's kinda important."
Paige: "Is something wrong? You never encourage orbing."
Phoebe: "Yeah well it won't be the only magic done today."

Paige appears in a flurry of orb. Phoebe runs to her and squeezes her.

Paige: "Breathing, not happening, let go."
Phoebe : "Sorry, but we don't see you a lot since you became a full-blown whitelighter. I mean for the last 10 years you've been busy. Give your sista's a little love."

Piper and Paige exchange glances of confirmation, then Paige notices Piper's tears.

Paige: "Oh God, something IS wrong."
Piper: "No, I'm like this every year. Today is yet another anniversary of Prue's death."
Paige: "ah...I understand. Same thing about my parents. My adopted ones, I mean..."
Phoebe: "Well there's more to this visit. We want you to chant with us. We know Prue can't come back, but we thought we would do it just for sanity's sake. Maybe it's a bit therapeutic?"
Paige: "No prob. Wish we had to B.O.S., ya know?"
Piper: "Yeah, well that was mysteriously gone from the house when we went back to investigate. But it must be in good hands, because if a Demon had it, the world would have gone to hell."

Paige, Phoebe, and Piper all sat down. They began to chant.

"Prue Halliwell, we call to thee."
"Come back to life, we beseech thee."
"Prue Halliwell, we call to thee."
"Let our love reanimate thee."

CUT TO:

The cave, and the woman lying on the ground glowing. The Glow begins to grow, and the body begins to move. Her hand moves, and she slowly gets up. They show her from behind, and she slowly turn around. Slowly we see the face of Prue Halliwell appear. Only, her eyes are pure black. And she has an evil grin on her face."

CUT TO:

The storm outside Piper and Leo's house has suddenly gotten worse. Thunder roars and lightning strikes the front lawn. The sisters inside break concentration and are walking to the door when it bursts open. Piper screams, and Paige and Phoebe jump back, only to have their fears unjustified as Leo, Wyatt, and Chris walk through the doorway, dripping wet.

Leo: "Man this storm is fierce. Did you know the lawn has a burn scar?"
Piper: "My lawn? My lawn that I spend day in and day out taking care of along with my garden?"
Leo: (Looking sympathetic)"Umm..yeah. Sorry."
Phoebe: "Well I think Paige and I will be going. Piper, we'll call you. Leo, good to see you again. Wyatt, Chris, Auntie Phoebs luvs ya!"

She kisses them both on the forehead and grabs her jacket and leaves. Paige takes a cue from Phoebe and kisses the boys, then orbs out.

Piper: "My lawn? What else is gonna fuel my depression today?"

CUT TO:

The cave, and Prue stands in it, pacing back and forth. She waves her hand and a rock flies across the area and smashes into a wall. She She sees a fly and throws her hands up, and it freezes in mid air. Then she throws her hands forward, and it blows up. She smiles. She tries tries to Astral Project, but it doesn't work. Either way, she's clearly happy, having discovered that she now has the powers of Melinda, and her sisters.

She then Dark-Orbs out of the cave...

Chapter Two: The Book Of Shadows Returns

CUT TO:

The next day, sunny and beautiful in contrast to yesterday, Phoebe is in her office at the Bay Mirror. The last 12 years have been great for Phoebe as she has since moved up to Editor In Chief. A young woman named Telly now writes the advice column. Phoebe had read her College column and noticed the talent and flair she thought herself to have, and instantly offered her the job. Telly accepted immediately, starting the 4th day after her graduation.

Phoebe was busy looking over Telly's column for the week when she heard arguing in the other room. Telly and Jim (a fellow journalist) were in a heated argument about Jim's views on female sexuality in the workplace.

Jim: "Women use their feminie wiles all the time to get what they want. It's not fair to us men who don't get that "leg" up."
Telly: "Oh, so what? You think I got THIS job by using feminine wiles? Obviously not, unless Phoebe is a lesbian which obviously she ISN'T!"
Phoebe: "What's going on? What about me being a Lesbian?"
Jim: "Nothing..."
Telly: "Jim-boy here thinks that most women use their sexuality to get ahead, that they can't POSSIBLY earn their positions."
Jim: "Yeah, the only position a woman..." He started to say, but Phoebe cut him off.
Phoebe: "HEY! Watch it Bucko! In case you didn't notice, I'M a woman. And I didn't use anything but talent to get into this business."
Jim: "Oh, and Elise just hired you as her successor because you're talented?"
Phoebe: "Oh, you think it's because i'm a woman? Hmm...something tells me you feel a little castrated by all this "Girl Power" in the workplace? You can't stand it that women have been successful?"
Jim: "It's not th..."
Phoebe: "Well guess what? You won't have to feel anything at all, except regret that you didn't keep your sexist mouth shut. You're fired!"

Jim's eyes went wide and his face white. Telly had a smug little smile on her face.

Phoebe: "We don't tolerate sexism, or discrimination in this building."
Mick: "You said it girlfriend!" (A Gay co-worker)

Jim left the office after packing his stuff.

Telly: "That guy was such a pig. Thanks for firing him."
Phoebe: "Look, I know he was a pig. But the truth is, he was an excellent journalist. In the future, could you try to avoid confrontation?"
Telly: "But..."
Phoebe: "Please? This paper can't afford to lose anyone else."

Telly nodded. Phoebe walked back into her office and sat down.

CUT TO:

Prue is walking out of a store called "GLAM 2 GOTH", and she is adorned with Leather pants, a tight black top showing much cleavage, and a few spiked accessories. Along with black eye-liner and dark red lipstick, she smiles devilishly. We see a shot of the inside of the store, where the clerk and the few gothic customers are frozen.

Prue: "Who needs money when you have power? Ha ha ha haa....."

CUT TO:

Paige is healing a charge, who had just been attacked by a low level Demon. The young witch stands up, now unharmed.

Paige: "Are you ok Kass?"
Kass: "Yeah, thanks Paige. I didn't even see him. It's a good thing you were already here, or I might have..."
Paige: "Nah...I'm an expert White Lighter now, I'd have been here before you knew you were hurt."
Kass: "Thanks again."

Paige stopped and her brows went up in confusion as she watched a woman walk out of store with a ton of bags. For a second she thought she knew the woman.

Paige: "Prue?...That's not possible..." She muttered.
Kass: "Something wrong?"
Paige: "Nothing, but I have to go."

She orbed immediately to Piper.

CUT TO:

It's a little after dark, and Phoebe is the only one in the office. She sits at her desk doing some last minute edits and reviews. She thinks she hears something in the other room. She doesn't see anything through her office window, so she gets up to investigate.

Lying on the floor, is something she never expected to see: The Book of Shadows.

Phoebe: "How in the..?"

The Book begins to flip it's own pages, and lands on a page Phoebe did not recognize. Phoebe calls out to Paige, and Paige and Piper appear.

Paige: "We have something to tell y...."
She stops when she sees the B.O.S. in Phoebe's arms.
Piper: "Where did you get that?" She says shocked.
Phoebe: "It just appeared. I have no idea how it got here."
Paige: "Looks like it's not the only weirdness going down today."
Phoebe: "What do you mean?"
Piper: "Umm....Paige umm....saw.."
Paige: "I saw Prue today."
Phoebe: "That's not funny Paige." Phoebe said seriously.
Paige: "I'm not lying. I swear it wa her. Dressed a little different, but it was her. I think I've seen enough pictures to...."
Phoebe: "NO! It WASN'T her!"
Piper: "Phoebe I didn't wanna believe it either, but how many times have we doubted Paige? How many times have we been wrong?"
Phoebe: "You are POSITIVE?"
Paige nodded.

Chapter Three: Paige of Power

The girls were flipping through the Book, hoping for something to help them understand how Prue could be alive.

Piper: "Maybe there's a ressurrection spell, or a duplication spell..." She was getting flustered.
Phoebe: "Piper, calm down. We'll figure this out. Let's just kep looking. Paige, you keep scrying for Prue."
Paige: "OK but so far a big bowl of nothing."

Leo is also in the attic. Chris and Wyatt sit over by some old books.

Leo: "This is impossible. I've never heard of anything like this before. If only I could orb up to the Elders like I used to."
Wyatt: "Well, I could do it. I mean, I've visited them before. Besides, I think it's been a long time comin we asked for their help. Chris and I could both go."
Chris: "That's fine with me. I been bored anyways."
Piper: "I don't think it's a good idea. You two need to stay here."
Wyatt: "Oh, ok. I'm sure we'll be a big help to the fight when evil Auntie Prue shows up and kills us." He says sarcastically, knowing his mom would have the latter.
Piper: "OK, you win. But you come back the nanosecond you know something ok?"
Chris: "No problem Mom. Dad, we'll be back."

Wyatt and Chris orbed to the elders.

Phoebe: "Hey!...this is weird..."
Piper and Paige: "What?"
Phoebe: "This page, i've never seen it before."
Piper: "It's blank...what's so big about that?"
Phoebe: "We've been through this book millions of times Piper. I don't remember any blank pages."
Paige: "Come to think of it, me neither."
Piper: Well we don't even know where the book has been all these years, so who knows who or what has changed it."

Two figures orbed in.

Wyatt: "Something really fishy is going on. When we got up there..."
Piper: "What?"
Chris: "No one was there..."
Leo: "What?"
Wyatt: "Yeah, it was deserted. And itlooked like they left in a hurry, maybe to avoid us. But I don't know why."
Paige: "How weird, but not unlikely. I wouldn't put it past them to have sent Prue back. I mean, Elder's Gone Bad is not unheard of."

Everyone looked at Paige uneasily.

"Paige: "Sorry..."

The next day was fairly uneventful until Dinnertime when Piper had Phoebe and Paige over. Everyone was sitting at the table eating Piper's dinner of Potatoes, carrots and Pot Roast. Chris was eating likea total pig.

Piper: "Chris! Stop that, you're not 12 anymore. Physically anyways."
Chris : "Sorry mom, but I can't resist your cooking."
Leo: "Ahh the ever-so-effective butter-up, It's nice to know I taught you boys something."

Leo smiled. Piper shot him a dirty look and he went cold. Paige just looked at Phoebe with that "Uhh-oh-i-think-it's-time-to-change-the-subject look".

Phoebe: "So we came up with an idea about the Prue situation."
Paige: "Yeah there's a passage in the book that tells of these ghosts that take on the appearance of the spirits who'ved moved on. We thought we'd try the spell under it that is supposed to strip them of their guise."
Piper: "Well let's just hope it works, because I seriosuly don't wanna deal with this much longer."
Leo: "Boys, let's clean up the plates and give the ladies some alone time."

Leo, Wyatt, and Chis, taking their cue, picked up the plates and scurried int o the kitchen.

Piper: "Why this? Why now?"
Paige: "Piper..."
Piper: "Why me? We all know what I went through the day she died, and now this comes back to bite me right in the ass!"
Phoebe: "Piper, we'll deal with this like we deal with everything. One step at a time ok?"
Piper: "I'm so happy I have ou two."
Paige: "We love you Piper."

Just then there was the sound of splintering wood as the front door blew off it's hinges and shattered into several small pieces. the girl's all jumped up. Just as quick as the commotion began it wa over. There was no one to be sighted in, near, or around the house.

Piper; "What the hell was that?"
Phoebe: "I have no idea, but I think it may have something to do with Prue."

The girls stood there as Leo and the boys walked in to see the shattered remains of the front door.

Leo: "Not this again. I thought my Handyman days wwere over."
Wyatt: "Don't worry Dad, we'll help." Chris nodded in agrement.

Prue was furious. How could her sister's have forgotten her? How could they have moved on, or welcomed Paige her "replacement". Prue knew she was now the weilder of all 3 powers. She didn't know how, but she knew she was gonna use them to destroy her sisters.

The plan was to get Piper alone, because then Paige and Phoebe would be useless. All Prue had to do was find a way to get Piper alone, and the Power of Three would be hers and hers alone.

I have bad news and this will be my final post. The fanfic is gonna have to eb discontinued simply because i am doing toomuch and this does not rank in the top of important stuff i have. My musical interests have taken most of my time so i will be nice and tell you what was supposed to happen throughout this season.

Prue was supposed to come after wyatt and chris to make piper and leo sad. Then she was gonna take leo, and then when the sisters were alone she would come after them.

The contact with the elders had been severed for an unknown reason.

You would find out that the Prue that was evil was actually Prue's Astral self. When she was killed her astral self split from her body and ended up in that cave but because she was dead her astral self could not return to her body and therefore was only half of prue's soul. Only half of prues soul went to heaven that is why the girls could never see her.

The reason that the girls could not contact the elders and vice versa was that when they did the spell it reanimated the astral version of prue and caused an unstability between the living world and dead world so the interference scould not give conatct between elders and girls.

Well eventually the girls would get leo and the boiys free and prue would ultimately try to kill the girls but through a sappy little talking-to from piper, prue would end up seeing that her sisters did not forget her at all. She would realize how shed been acting, but then her bitterness would take over and shed be all evilish again. Then somehow Prues other half of her soulwould come from heaven and awould fight the evil prue. Then after the good half wins they would merge again and prues soul would b whole. This would cause the interferenc to fade and the elders come and take prue back up there after the girls have said a proper goodbye.
