[Enter – Manor – Living room – day – Phoebe walks in on Piper sorting out all the Christmas tree ornaments.]
Phoebe – Piper, why are you doing this all by yourself?
Piper – Because nobody offered to help me.
Phoebe – Well, you might have gotten more offers if you’d told someone you were doing a tree. I mean, we all figured we weren’t doing it this year since it’s the day before Christmas Eve and you still hadn’t mentioned it.
Piper – Well, I’ve just been very busy and I’m just now getting around to it.
Phoebe – Would you like some help?
Piper – Ah, why not?
[Phoebe sits down and helps Piper. They finally finish laying all the ornaments all over the floor when Billie walks in.]
Phoebe – Hey Billie! How’s it goin?
Billie – Fine. What are you two doing?
Piper – I think the real question her is ‘What does it look like we’re doing?
Billie – It looks like you’re decorating a Christmas tree.
Piper – Wow, you’re a smart girl.
[All of a sudden, a demon shimmers in.]
Piper gestures to blow him up, but all that happens is the demon gets knocked over. Piper freezes him. He unfreezes. Billie tosses him across the room, onto the couch almost as though to prevent him from getting hurt. The demon looks at Billie, and says in the most non-threatening way:
Demon – I told you I’d be back for you.
[Then he shimmers out.]

Act I Scene I:
Piper – What the he** was that all about?!?
Phoebe – And why the couch?
Piper – Phoebe, that’s not the major issue here?
[Billie is still standing quietly.]
Piper – Billie, did you know that demon?
Billie – Yes. But he wasn’t a demon when I knew him. Or, at least, I didn’t know he was.
Piper – Explain yourself.
[The three of them sit down on the couch.]
Billie – His name or his human name at least, is Landon. He and I had been dating since I was about 16 until one night when I was almost 18, he came to my window and told me that he had to go somewhere far away and I would see him for a while, but he’d come back for me. I guess he just did.
Piper – well, I think the only thing we can do is, wait till he comes back.
Phoebe – He’s not going to do that now that he knows we’re here.
Piper – Unless Billie just goes back to her dorm room and we’re nowhere near her. Billie, when he comes, you’re going to find out what he wants, and tell us.
Billie – Ok.
[Enter – Billie’s dorm room – night – Billie is sleeping. Landon shimmers in behind her.]
Landon – Billie. Billie, I know you’re not really sleeping.
[Billie sits up and looks at him.]
Billie – What are you doing here?
Landon – I told you I’d be back.
Billie – You didn’t tell me you’d back as a demon.
Landon – You didn’t tell me you’d be a witch when I came back.
Billie – That doesn’t count. I didn’t know either.
Landon – What’s makes you think I knew I was a demon?
[Billie looks at him with a ‘What, do you think I’m an idiot?’ look.]
Landon – Ok, so maybe I did know.
Billie – One thing that still doesn’t make sense is that after becoming a demon, you still cared about keeping your promise.
Landon – What, you think I wanted to be a demon?
Billie – You know what? Why don’t you just start from the beginning?
Landon – Ok. Both of my parents were demons. I never wanted to be evil like that. So, they sent me to the underworld to live with an upper-level demon. He’d be sort of like a mentor. He taught me everything about using my powers, and controlling them. After all that, I still didn’t want to be a demon. I acted like I did, but I was really just waiting for him, and my parents to be vanquished by good witches. And now, I was finally able to sense and find you. Trust me. The only powers I use are sensing and shimmering. I don’t kill people.
Billie – I see.
Landon – And I have a small favor to ask. I need you to strip my powers.
Billie – I don’t know how. But I have some friends who do. Take me to the house where you found me last. I’m sure the Charmed Ones will help you.
Landon – The Charmed Ones?!?!? Are you insane? They’ll kill me on the spot!
Billie – No. Not if I explain it to them first.
Landon – You don’t know that.
Billie – Fine. I’ll go alone and get the potion, and then I’ll find you and do it myself.
Landon – Ok. I’ll take you there and wait outside.
Billie – Ok.
[Manor – drive way – Billie and Landon shimmer in.]
Billie – Now wait right here.
[Billie walks up to the front door and uses her copy of the key to get in. Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are waiting for her on the couch.]
Piper – We told Paige all about so you don’t have to tell her the whole story. Just start at the important part.
[Billie explains Landon’s story and asks for the potion.]
Piper – I’m still not sure if we should trust him. I think he should wait outside till the potion’s done. Then you can take it to him.
Billie – Great. I’ll go tell him.
[Billie walks outside to find Landon standing Laying on the ground.]
Billie – Landon, What are you doing?
Landon – Come here.
[Billie walks over and lies next to him.]
Billie – So what are we doing?
Landon – Looking at the stars.
Billie – They’ve always been there. They aren’t that special.
Landon – After a year in the under world where the only thing you see when you look up is rock? Of course the stars are special.
Billie - the potion’s brewing and soon, you’ll go back to being mortal.
[Paige pokes her head out the door.]
Paige – The potion’s ready. Do you want to come get it, Billie?
Billie – Sure.
[Billie goes inside and walks past a finished Christmas tree and a clock that says it’s now 4:15 am, into the kitchen to find Piper filling a vile with the potion. Piper hands it to her.]
Piper – All done.
Billie – Thank you so much, Piper!
[Billie hugs her and runs outside just in time to see Landon throw an energy ball at the paper boy who riding past. The boy doesn’t even have time to scream before he blows up. Landon turns to Billie.]
Landon – You weren’t supposed to see that.
[He walks over to Billie and hold his hand out for the potion but Billie holds it out of his reach.]
Billie – Why Landon? What happened to never using your offensive powers? Why would you even want the power stripping potion?
[Landon shape shifts into some demon she’s never seen before.]
Demon – My name is Jabari, you stupid witch. You believed every word I said. Landon isn’t coming back. He had no powers. He was an easy kill.
Billie – You killed him?
Jabari – I had to assume his identity.
Billie – Why the potion?
Jabari – So I can do this!
[He snatches the potion from her hand and uses it on her. Billie tries to use her power on him, but nothing happens.]
Billie – Piper, Phoebe, Paige! Help!
[The sisters run outside just in time to see Jabari shimmer away with Billie.]
End of Act I
Act II Scene I
[Enter – Underworld – Eternal night – Billie is sitting with her back against a wall, and Jabari is pacing back and forth as though waiting for something.]
Billie – Why did you bring me here? Why didn’t you just kill to start with?
Jabari – Shut up, witch! The charmed ones aren’t going to just leave you here. They’re going to come find you and when they do, I’ll kill them. Then, I’ll have no trouble getting you to the sorceress.
Billie – And you called me stupid. Don’t you think someone’s tried that before? Seriously, why don’t any of you stupid demons just give up? The sisters will never be beaten. Even the source couldn’t beat them! Wait a minute. What sorceress?
Jabari – I said shut up! You don’t listen do you?
Billie – Not when I know I’m right.
Jabari – How have you not gotten killed with that attitude of yours?
Billie – Simple I’ve gotten on the charmed ones’ good side.
Jabari – Da**it! I might just kill you for the he** of it!
Billie – Yeah, but then this mystery sorceress will be very ticked off at you for not bringing me to her.
[Cut to Manor – Attic – early morning. Paige flips to a page in the book]
Paige – Aha! Jackpot.
[Piper and Phoebe rush over to look at the page. Paige reads out loud,]
Paige – The demon Jabari is an upper-level demon who usually kills mortals only to obtain their identities to get close to his real target and kill, or torture, or capture them for what ever reason he is paid to do.
Phoebe – So he’s an assassin. Great. So now we’re dealing with two demons.
Piper – Well, we’ll save Billie now, and deal with whoever Jabari’s working for another day.
Phoebe - I say, we use the extra potion to strip his powers, that way you can freeze him, and then you’ll unfreeze his head and we’ll make him tell us who he’s working for and why they want Billie. Then once he tells us, we vanquish his sorry a**.
[Paige copies the vanquishing spell onto three post its while Piper brews the vanquishing potion, and grabs three more bottles of the power stripping potion, and Phoebe scries for them. The crystal drops.
Phoebe – Found ‘em.
[Paige hands out copies of the spell, Piper hands out a vile of each potion, and they orb there.]
[Enter – Underworld – eternal night – the sisters orb in to find Billie and Jabari. Quickly, they throw the first potion and his powers are stripped. Piper freezes him and unfreezes his head.]
Piper – Ok, so you can’t move, and you’re not immune to my blow up power, so you may want to cooperate before you lose a limb.
Phoebe – Who are you working for?
Jabari – I’m not telling you, b****.
Paige – That wasn’t a smart choice.
[Piper blows off his left hand. Jabari screams.]
Paige – who are you working for?
[Jabari says nothing.]
Piper- You know, we could do this all night long, until your head is all that’s left. You won’t have much left to lose so you might as well spill it.
Jabari – Ok! Ok, just put your hands down.
[Piper obeys]
Jabari – I work for a sorceress named Sauda.
Piper – What does she want with Billie?
Jabari – She wants to kill her. The girl is a threat to Sauda so she wants her dead.
Phoebe – How is she a threat?
Jabari – Sauda know that the girl will kill her in order to find her sister.
Billie – Does Sauda have her?
Jabari – No. But she knows where she is and what she’s being used for.
[Piper unfreezes the rest of him, and with his remaining hand, he grabs an athamea and holds it across Billie’s throat.]
Jabari – Stupid witches. You only stripped me of my powers. You didn’t even think of my weapons.
[The sisters throw the viles and pull out their copies of the spells]
All three –
This demon that stalks his pray by night,
And won’t give up with out a fight,
Watches proudly while his victims cry.
And now it’s time for him to die!
[Jabari screams and blows up.]
Phoebe – Killing him ought to have reversed his magic. Billie, test your power.
[Billie flings a rock against the wall.]
Billie – Yep. All better.
Piper – Let’s go now.
[They all grab hands and Paige orbs them back to the manor. It’s now 6:00 in the morning.]
Paige – Billie, why don’t you stay the next few nights with us? I’m sure it’ll make Christmas even better.
Billie – Ok.
[December 25th – Wyatt orbs downstairs and wakes up Billie who is sleeping on the couch. He gestures to his stalking as though he’s telling her that Santa came last night. The Phoebe and Paige walk down stairs followed by Piper carrying Chris. They all sit on the floor opening presents.]
[Fade out.]
