Author's Note: Okay so this is my first Fan Fic and I dont know how good it will be, but all the characters and ideas are mine. Thankyou and enjoy!
Prologue:
I remember the day I found out I was a witch, it couldn't have come at any worse of a time. It was Halloween, 2001, my birthday, I was turning 16. Wanna know what I got for my birthday? Every 16 year olds wish! I got a car, and a truck, a van, and even an RV. I got a house, and a bank account worth millions. I got powers and knowledge people only dream of. But it all came at a price. The price, my parents lives.
They were great people, amazing parents the best you could ask for, and I came to find out they were from the most powerful lines of Witches ever to exist that day. My father, was from the Kellyn line of witches. His ancestry dates back to the Early Civiliations. Kellyn, meaning powerful, has been a name feared by the underworld for centuries. My father was raised in and around Europe His father, my grandfather, was an ambassador for the United States. He was the first male witch to be born in the Kellyn line, fulfilling a great prophecy. And so he was named Alistair Uriel, defender of Men and fire of God. My mother maiden name Nasser (triumphant), was also from a great line of witches. She didnt fulfill a prophecy, until she married my father. But she was a great witch none the same. And rightfully named Abra Solange meaning Mother of nations and Sun/Earth Angel. Now as you can probably guess my parents were elementals. They met in France, fell in love, blahblahblah, the rest is history, literally, in the magical realm there marriage was foreseen many years ago.
I was born at midnight on the rise of the full moon on the 31st day, of the 10th month, of the year 1985. My birth fulfilled the greatest prophecy to this day.
"For it is written, there will be a babe born from the fire, risen from the earth, and bathed in the sun, on the night full of magic and light".
My name is Aradia Miakoda Kellyn, meaning the Goddess of Witches and power of the moon. And I have been training for the last 5 years to avenge my parents death. And I will succeed. Vengeance, will, be mine!
~~Please let me know what u think to see if I should keep writing~~

Okay SO I haven't had any responses but I have had some reads, so I am gonna post chapter One and the first part of Chapter Two! Enjoy! Chapter One- That Fateful Day I can remember the day like it was yesterday. I woke up in the morning to my mom singing "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Aradia, happy birthday to you." She brought me a stack of pancakes, with one lit candle poking out the top. My dad followed her in with a large gift bag containing a new outfit, that I wore to school that day. When I got to school I heard happy birthday from every direction. I was pretty popular around school, not because I was pretty, not because I was the head cheerleader but mainly because I was nice to everyone, the geeks, the jocks, the artists, the people most people would never speak to. I spent the day in class, went to my cheerleading practice where my boyfriend, Aiden, picked me up and took me home. When we got to my house my parents weren't home, which wasn't that unusual. I figured they were probably out getting last minute shopping done, or planning some surprise dinner at a restaurant Aiden might have be taking me to later that night. I set my bag down and slipped off my shoes then headed to the kitchen to get a small snack. That's when I realized something was wrong, our maid, was no where to be found, and the dishes from breakfast were still out. I know that doesn't sound suspicious, but in our house, it had never happened before. "Aiden?" I called out to my boyfriend when I heard a crash coming from the foyer. When I got to the foyer Aiden was on the ground and a tall thin man with snow white hair and a black robe was standing over him. "Who are you? And what are you doing?" That's when my life turned around, forever. "My name is Varishka, and I was defending myself Mad'am" The old man said as he bowed his crippled old body toward me. "Defending yourself from whom?" I asked him as I extended my hand to Aiden and helped him up. "From me!" Aiden said, "He came in the door, with out knocking, I didn't know who he was, I kinda attacked him" "Oh, well, what did you expect?" I didn't know why the man was there, and I didn't know whether I should make him leave. Then he started the story. "My name is Varishka, I am, a friend of your parents. Al, Abra, and I go way back. I was sent to them while they were in France, right after they met. I guided them through their destiny, as I have been asked to do for you, and you!" He said as he talked to me and Aiden. "Okay, I don't know who you are, but can you get to the point?" "Well," the man continued. "I am so sorry to be the one to tell you, but all of your parents are dead. They died this morning in a battle, a battle that has been brewing for centuries." It took me a few minutes to actually hear what the tall stranger had said, and when it finally hit me I flipped out. "Get out, get out of my house! Get out NOW!" I screamed as I started flailing and pushing the man out of my house. My parents couldn't have been dead, they couldn't be in a battle, my dad was the President of his company and my mother couldn't hurt a fly. I wrote it off as a joke, something my parents tried pulling for sake of the holiday of trick or treating. I went about my day as normal as I could, only mentioning the old man a few times. When it got to be about 7 o'clock I started wondering where my parents and friends were going to pop out from, always looking around corners, checking closets, flipping light switches where ever I could. After a few hours no one showed up and my parents were no where to be found. When Aiden took my hand, and pulled me into the backyard, he had a small table set up on the patio next to the pool. Candles all around, I could faintly hear some music playing, and smelled a sweet aroma coming from the plates on the table. We had a nice dinner, complete with dessert, a chocolate souffle complete with 16 candles. As the night was coming to its end, I was concerned about my parents whereabouts. "Aiden, have you talked to your parents today?" "No, I tried calling earlier but no one answered. Why?" "Well, I haven't talked to my parents since they woke me up for school this morning. Do you think? Nah. Couldn't, that guy was just crazy, right?" Aiden wasn't answering me, so I asked him again, "Right? He was just crazy." Before he could answer there was a screaming coming from the kitchen. "Mom, Dad, is that you?" I ran to where the screams were coming from to find the same old man from earlier throwing orbs of light at these horrific looking creatures. The lights would hit them and the oversized lizards would burst into flames leaving nothing but scorch marks and ashes. "You again, where are our parents?" I demanded answers. "We need to get out of here, quickly!" The old man grabbed my arm, I tried to shake away but before I knew it, I had severe motion sickness I finally forced my dinner back down my throat and looked around noticing I was no longer in my kitchen but in what looked like a cave. Aiden and the man were there as well. "What did you do? I am not kidding, you need to give me some answers, starting with, where are my parents?" I was losing it, the idea of this man being right hit me like a wall of bricks. Something inside of me told me to trust the man, almost like a voice saying 'Go ahead, listen to him'. "I tried to tell you before" the man began, "Your parents, they died. Let me start from the beginning. I am a witch, but not a bad witch, a good witch. Yours and Aiden's parents were witches as well. They never told you, hoping that they could protect you from the battle they were constantly fighting. But now, that your parents are gone, you both are in serious danger. With the death of your parents, your powers will be restored back to you. Meaning, that magical bounty hunters can find you, and try to kill you as well. I know this is a lot to hear, all at once, but you must believe me. Al and Abra, along with Warren and Joy gave me these amulets, they are connected to you both. They told me, that if the amulets ever started glowing that I must find you immediately and keep you safe. This morning, they started glowing, meaning only one thing. Please, sit down." The old man realized that me and Aiden were both in shock, not sure how to handle the news. He offered us seats on the dank couch, the only furniture in the room. I graciously took the seat, grabbing Aiden's hand, it was the only comfort I could seem to find. I could feel the tears starting to form in the corner of my eyes, my free hand was shaking and my body started to get cold. The next thing I remember was waking up in a bed surrounded by all sorts of magical beings. At the time I wasn't sure who they were, but they all were pointing at me, then whispering, some were even touching me. "Back away, let her be!" Varishka pushed through the creatures, making his way to my bedside "G'morning mad'am" He greeted me handing me a cup of coffee. I was about to ask him how long I had been asleep when he answered my question, "2 days mad'am". How I had been sleeping for 2 days I wasn't sure, and I couldn't tell if I was dreaming when Varishka said "No mad'am this is not a dream. I wish for your sake it was, but everything you are recalling is true." "How are you doing that?" I asked as I got up out of bed, it took me a few seconds to stabilize myself, as all the creatures stood by just waiting to catch me if I started to fall. "I am sorry Mad'am, but we need to get going" Varishka said pulling me towards the door.

Chapter Two - Powers
So today is the day, today is the day we finish the battle. Just the other side doesn't know it yet. Varishka has kept our identities pretty well hidden. I am now, Rachael Marie Charles, and my husband is Matthew Lewis Charles. We were married a year and half ago under the full moon by Varishka himself. He has taught us so much in the last 6 years. We've trained in martial arts, the ways of wicca, potions, spells, and of course our own personal powers. We learned of the history of our ancestors and even got to train with some. We studied our enemies every move, and of course fought some small battle for practice. Ridding the world of one evil at a time. We've made friends and lost some on our journey. All preparing for this day. The day that was spoken of exactly 5 years and 362 days ago.
When Varishka pulled me out of my bedroom into a library full of books, people and magical creatures. Everyone created me like they had known me for years, like they had been waiting for me their whole lives. They revered and adored me. I made my way through the crown to where I found Aiden. He hugged me, no, more than hugged me, he embraced me. He held on to me so tightly I could hear his heart beating. I knew at that moment, this was the way it was supposed to be. I remembered the dream I had had before I woke, my parents were there, it was as if I wasn't dreaming at all. They told me things, told me I was special, told me they loved me. They told me of how they were protecting me and saving the world. They told me that nobody would ever understand who I was or what I was created to do, but that Aiden would always be there for me. That we were meant for eachother, meant to defeat what they weren't able to do. They taught me so many things, things I carried with me from that dream on.
Varishka gave us the rest of that evening to just sit with eachother and take it all in. But as soon as the sun went down our training began. There was a full moon that night, and he knew it would be the best night to start. He first told us the prophecies that the ancient oracles made about us. How I was the Goddess of the Witches, the daughter of the most powerful elementals that ever existed. I was to have the power of wind, fire, earth, water, but most importantly the power of the moon. He spoke of how Aiden was the Protector of Good, the son of higher beings, he possessed power over mind, body, soul and most importantly the heart. Our destinies were designed together many years before we even existed. Then when the moon was as big as it could get in the night sky he made us put our hands together and read a spell that was written for us and only us.
"On this night, in pale moon light, we embrace our fate. We join our hands, accept the plans, in our destiny we now partake. Give us the will and the power, we ask of you now in this hour."
After reading the spell, with my eyes closed I could feel the warmth of the moon wrapping around me. I opened my eyes, there was a bright light shining around Aiden, the beam of light was engulfing us as it lifted us up off the ground. The light faded as I felt my feet land softly back on the ground below. Again the creatures had piled around us standing in awe of the magic they had just witnessed. This time I understood why they treated us the way they did. We were their saviors, we were the ones sent to rid them of all the pain and fear they had been feeling. I myself could even feel the power within us. My whole body felt different, I felt confident, powerful, courageous, and unafraid. Even Aiden seemed different, when I looked at him I still felt love, and all the things I had always felt, but now it was even more intense. He seemed so perfect, he was like a beacon in the night, he radiated a light that I couldn't ignore.
"Go ahead, try it!" Varishka pushed us into trying to use our powers, find their triggers and learn to control them. "Aradia, start with fire" I thought of fire, and what emotions might ignite a flame. I thought of my parents and them being killed when my hands ignited in flames. I slowly twisted my hands and admired the red and orange as it danced around. It was amazing that I wasn't getting burned. "Try to throw it at Aiden, it won't hurt him I promise" Varishka said. I was a little hesitant, but so far the old man had been right. So I threw it towards Aiden as Varishka told Aiden to imagine the ball of fire being extinguished, and it was. This continued on for about an hour as me and Aiden discovered all the powers had. The things Aiden could do with his mind as well as his body were limitless. He transformed, and willed himself into anything he wanted. Amongst other things he could teleport through instant thought projection. I could use all the elements to my advantage, fire, wind, earth, and water. But personally my favorite was the control of the moon. I could enrage or calm people and creatures as I wished. I was able to transport myself and objects through the use of shadows.
We trained for a weeks, it seemed we were never going to get a break. We were introduced to the creatures, which I learned were magical beings. Gnomes, elves, leprechauns, fairies, ex-demons, and witches, there was someone of every kind. They were our teachers, teaching us everything they could. Varishka had brought us to the Academy of Magic. Cana and Marva were a pair of reformed demons that he appointed as our sparring partners and weapons trainers. They had a room that was specially protected to prevent our powers from hurting eachother. In that room is where we would practice our battles. Marva was an amazing fighter, she was fast and very powerful. Cana was a brute, a big man but also very powerful. Aiden and I would switch who we fought every other match so we would get used to all types of opponents and their weaknesses. Luckily for us Cana could shape shift and clone so we got to fight all kinds of demons. Which was good because our first battle came as a surprise.

Chapter Three- Spreading our Wings
Aiden came in and woke me up that morning, he told me that Varishka had something planned for us. I remember we walked into the library of the school and Varishka had the chalkboard filled with facts and tidbits about a species of demon called Heartracers. They had this sound that they would emenate that would make your heart beat faster and faster until it eventually burst. They would then feast on the blood of their victims. They were dirty creatures and only came out one day a year and gathered enough blood for the rest of the year. They would feast on magical beings, the more powerful the being the bigger of a target it was for the Heartracers. The last few years they have been trying to get to a Wizard named Razion, he was one of the only good wizards left and was getting weaker each year. This year Varishka was very concerned the Heartracers would be able to beat him and wanted us to go and protect him. In a blink of an eye me and Aiden appeared in the lair of Razion.
"Welcome my children" Razion greeted us. I bowed in respect and reached out my hand "My name is-" "Aradia" He interrupted. "And you are Aiden" He said as he bowed in both of our directions. "How do you guys keep doing that?" I asked, expecting the wizard to answer Aiden responded "It's pretty easy actually!" "What? Since when can you read minds?" "Um, ever since u could light yourself on fire, oh No I am not spying on your thoughts" Aiden answered my question without even hearing it, leaving me no doubt that he invaded my brain whenever he desired.
I was about to speak when I started falling to the ground, someone had kicked out the back of my knees, I regained composure and started searching around the room for the culprit. All of the sudden Aiden was being pushed around from one side of the lair to the other by something invisible. A breeze swept past me and I knew it was whatever was attacking us, I shot out some ice in the direction I felt the breeze thinking that if I couldn't see it, I at least might be able to capture it. As soon as the ice hit the creature I could tell it was a heartracer, but I didn't remember Varishka ever mentioning they could become invisible. I wanted to tell Aiden something, without them hearing, and just realizing he could read my thoughts I decided to take a chance. *Aiden, if you can hear this, will them visible* Within moments the creatures appeared, there were at least a dozen of them and it seemed like more and more kept coming. "Razion! Come here!" I called out for the wizard, it was our job to protect him, I was not going to fail my first mission. If I couldn't protect him how was I ever going to avenge my parents death. The wizard materialized next to me and now it was time to fight. Four demons came at me, two from the front and two from my right side, I tried to ignite them with fire but for some reason my powers were off. When I wanted flame I got water, and vice versa. I was left to my fighting skills, I kicked the demons in front of me down to the ground, then used wind to hold them down while I punched and kicked my way through the other two. After Aiden defeated the demons pushing him around he came over and assisted me in vanquished the rest of the demons. When the first demon I had knocked down turned into bright red and orange flames by my own hands I started to get a little nauseas. I knew they weren't human, and I knew it had to be done, but still my human nature kicked in. I kept reminding myself *I am a witch, a powerful witch, I fight, I kill, I defend. They are not human, it had to be done, this is what I have to do.*
The shaking in my hands wasn't stopping, Razion came up to me and handed me a small cast iron bowl with a reddish brown liquid inside. "Drink" he said, pushing the bowl up to my lips. I trusted him and drank the liquid down. I could feel the shaking stop, and then I couldn't feel anything at all. It was as if I was comatose, but I could still see. Razion, Aiden, and I were standing around, when I fell to the ground, I watched the scenes of the battle, but when I fell down this time, instead of regaining my step, I could hear a shreiking noise and feel my heart speed up. *Get up, Get up* I screamed to myself as I watched the demons kill and drink my blood. Then I noticed Aiden, he had three demons feasting on his fluids as well. They finished and looked up at Razion, their mouths and hands covered in the red essence of life, some licked lips and others moved their hands in such a way as saying, "you're next". "NOOO!" I screamed, breaking the trance I was in. I opened my eyes to realize everyone was there, and everyone was okay. "Don't be afraid, that was just to calm your nerves, to show you you did the right thing." Razion reassured me that my actions were necessary that without them people, good people, would have been killed.
We returned to the academy, everyone welcomed us like we had just come back from a war, but I guess in a way we kind of did. They had made a big dinner for us and even invited some of our ancestors. Later on that evening I asked Varishka "How come you can bring back people from my line that have been dead for years or even decades, but my parents and Aiden's haven't been brought to us?" He gave me some mumbo jumbo answer that seemed more like a riddle than an answer. "Sometimes what we think we need, is the one thing that we don't."

The Prologue is very catching and makes you want to read more. Vengeance stories can be so fun!
Chapter 1- She's a cheerleader? *bangs head* Okay, I'm over that. She seems like a very nice and caring girl. Aiden seems like a very nice boyfriend for what he did for her with dinner. Where can I find that guy? The Old Man..well, I would do what Aiden did, too. Again, what a sweet guy! What those two kids had to take in, that must have been very difficult. I feel so sorry for them.
Chapter 2- I have to say, their powers are WOW! (Glad I showed you that moon power, huh? It's so fun.) I'm glad that Aradia and Aiden were met for each other and went through everything together. That strengthed their relationship.
Can't wait for more of it, Mindy!

Thanks Jackie appreciate it. Yeah I was kind of wary of making her a cheerleader, but I kinda wanted to show her all aroundedness. and the fact that she was probably in shape. And the powers, well, i didnt think it would be interesting if they only had one, and I thought it would be more entertaining to give them a very wide but very focused selection of powers. ya know?

Another update
Chapter Four- Warming Up
Getting ready for battle is probably one of my favorite and least favorite things to do in this world. I woke up this morning, just like every other morning, groggy, tired, and hungry. When I got out of bed and saw Aiden meditating in the corner of the room I remembered today wasn't any other day. Breaking out of my typical routine and into the routine of a trained warrior was getting to be second nature to us. Instead of the typical donut and coffee, I ate a well balanced breakfast with lots of nutrients and vitamins. Instead of lounging around in my pajamas casually greeting the other people at the academny, I went to the weapons room and started stretching and warming up for the day. I had a strict routine that Marva had given me many years ago, that I did at every battle, and so far, it had done me well.
Kick to the side, punch forward, kick front, punch to the side, again, kick to the side, punch forward, kick front, punch to the side. After 10 reps I started practicing my powers, and switching between them. Flame right, switch to left, ice forward, ice back, blow air in a circle around me, then lift the ground beneath me. A few more reps and I would be done with warming up and I'd have to move on to sparring. "I am a witch, a powerful witch, I fight, I kill, I defend. They are not human, it has to be done, this is what I'm destined to do" I whispered my typical chant, reassuring myself that these were things I had to do.
Being in the Weapon room, doing all the things that Marva and Cana had taught me brought back so many memories.
I remember the last day we had with them, it started out just like today. Sparring, stretching, practicing, I had thrown a stream of ice at Marna and she diverted it back at me. I melted the ice as it headed back towards me. The ice had clouded my vision and when it was all gone I couldnt find Marna. At first I thought she might have been hiding trying to ambush me but after a few minutes she still hadn't attacked. A siren sounded and Cana ran into the room, "Get out of here, we're under attack."
I had never known that we had an alarm until that day, I always just thought the school was protected, and apparently it was. It was protected so well that no being of evil could enter it, and if they could, they had found a very small and short lived loophole. Everyone was corraled into the gymnasium, the teachers were counting the students, and Varishka was counting the teachers. Everyone was there except for Marna. No one had any idea where she had gone and Cana couldn't find her or sense her. In the midst of all the comotion Marna blinked into the center of the gym. She was holding her side and her green blood was covering her hands.
"Marna, what happened?" Everyone asked her what was going on, trying to figure out who had done this and what we were going to do to them. Varishka pushed everybody out away from her leaving an open circle around her weakened body. Marna whispered something into his ear and then slowly faded away. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Cana let out a loud scream, we all looked his way to see a robed being standing there with a fist of claws shoved through his chest. "Cana" I screamed out as I ran towards the being, they weren't going to kill him too. It was like losing my parents all over again, this time, there was something I could do about it. I shot a ball of flame at the anonymous being, he shimmered out leaving Cana behind. "Varishka, get Cana, take him to the infirmary!" Aiden called to Varishka, as I started getting into a fighting stance just waiting for the robed figure to reappear. He shimmered right in front of me I jumped up and kicked him in the chest, then shot some ice at the clawed hand as he swiped towards me. Aiden came up behind him and put his hands one either side of the beings head, he began to shake until he fell onto the ground, working flames around both of my hands I pushed towards the beings chest until he burst into flames and disappeared. Aiden and I embraced eachother knowing that we only survived as a team.

Ahem....I'll start with the Prologue. It was a great intro to the story. It did a wonderful job drawing in the reader. And I loved how the last sentence was that of the title. The first chapter was quite sad. I feel very sorry for Aiden and Aradia. But it was a very good way to set up the need for vengeance. And those two are definitely cute together: "I graciously took the seat, grabbing Aiden's hand, it was the only comfort I could seem to find."....how sweet The second chapter (like Assassin said) their powers are just WOW. They're so cool...I want them The third chapter was awesome. Battles are always fun. I loved how Aradia has trouble dealing with what she did. With all the powers she has, it's good to see she's still valuable in some way. The 'what-if' situation was very creepy, and yet so awesomely cool. (Glad it was a 'what-it' though ) And finally chapter four. I loved all the action. And I loved how those two work together. It's so far a great story. Hope to read more soon ;D

Oh my God Mindy!!! Your story is absolutly amazing!
I almost cried when I read the first two chapters... You definatly know how to write with intense emotion!
And your battle scenes... Nice way of describing them and I loved how Aradia and Aiden joined together to destroy the evil being!
